Guys idk what i did i been off sdv for like few months so i deleted all mods but the game stopped lunching so i deleted it and reinstalled it and it’s not lunching it doesn’t show error on steam but i play it and nothing shows up what should i do
When you launch from Steam, the game itself doesn't even show up?
Nope i press play than nothing shows up before it use to show missing data or something but after i restored what i deleted it stopped showing the error instead it just doesn’t play

Your log only indicates you loaded summer 9, slept, and did summer 10. You never warped anywhere, so you couldn't have accessed Robin's build menu

And even without both of those being true? You're on android, so this is possibly an android specific issue that we simply can't help with

When I tried to play the game from the files it started and all the mods are gone somewhere but when i lunch it from steam it doesn’t work what does that mean
You need to reset your launch optioins and probably delete your startup preferences, as I linked above.

Heya! Sooooo. I decided to play a modded game some months ago and did a lot of reading and downloaded a lot of files and downloaded smapi. But I didn't get around to actually playing. I've got some time now and I want to play but I can't find where I put the old version of smapi - because it's been updated so I have to get the new one. I thought it was under downloads and that would have been the smart place to put it. It's not in my mods file. Please help. :S

CJB Cheats Menu can put you back in time, but it won't undo anything you've done. It can also make things like crops growing a bit wonky

Oh you don't, SMAPI is more like the file you run to install any program :) Plus, it'll automatically update if it detects an older version on your system

I don't think A&S changes menu icons, just the animal skin. But you could learn to write a pretty simple Content Patcher mod to change the dog icon

A custom map that changes those tiles to be tillable: true would maaaybe work? Or they might be part of the greenhouse, since the greenhouse can be moved. So even that might not work

I answered your question. A&S packs for pets do not include an image for the pet icon, only the pet itself, so there is no native function to do it. The only way to do what you want is write a simple mod to change the dog icon image.

Got a question. Can you use a mod like Event Repeater to force an event to start?
There's an odd bug that's been around for about 4 years now where your secret Santa is Leo, but he will not show up at the feast of winter festival if his hearts is less than 6.
I want to see if there's a particular event I can force to start that generates Leo within the festival.

So there are several answers to your question. There is a way to start an event like that. But you don't even need event repeater you just need to debug it. However, if Leo is not moved to the mainland there's nothing you can do that will fix it itself.
Because leo will not be set up at the festival, regardless of whether you force run it or not.
Either way said bug will be fixed in 1.6

Hey I was hoping to get some help from anyone if possible -
I installed SMAPI on my Android and when I go to play, it says it has to locate the stardew valley folders content to continue, so I hit OK and select the Stardew Valley folder and hit "Use this folder" and then it says "SMAPI migration is finished, please restart game to continue" and I hit OK and restart and it just does the same thing. It just keeps doing that over and over. Any idea what my issue is?

Hay uuh can I get some help on this, I am using skill presitege but now 4 of my skill are glitched and I not only cant presitege them but they wont level or anything its kind weird.
I have a weird glitch. So I think it's cuz of better chests but I can craft stuff with things from chests. So I had morel in my chest and I managed to craft a life elixir. Yet, the morel was still in the chest, however it was a ghost item as it didn't really exist, like it didn't give me money with the trash can nor did it register in crafting. IDK what the real issue is tbh but maybe someone knows a cause / fix

besides sve, are there any mods that would create a lot of lag? most of them are content patcher mods, coul they be the source? im trying to cut down on my number of mods because my computer isnt the best
Dynamic Reflections can cause significant lag. If you have FPS issues or stuttering, I advise removing DR.

If, after you remove it, you're still having lag issues, post your log here - you might have errors. Profiler also helps to narrow down what causes lag.

Android SMAPI does not currently work for SDV 1.5.6.61. We do not know if or when it will be made compatible.
Mod support for 1.5 on Android is still experimental, so many mods are broken or buggy. That's often something SMAPI needs to fix, and we may not be able to provide a solution.
If you find a mod bug on Android, first make sure that:
a) you have the latest SMAPI version from https://github.com/ZaneYork/SMAPI-Android-Installer/releases;
b) you have the latest mod version(s) or have the last-known Android-compatible version;
c) and the mod author hasn't already addressed it on the mod page (e.g. via an Android-specific version or comments).

You can also try the chromebook side and get steam but it’s rather annoying to set up and requires some linux knowledge (just basics)

i need some help downloading mods! i'm on a mac and am currently trying to download diverse stardew valley, i've downloaded content patcher and smapi but whenever i try and run the game it says "'open-smpai-terminal.command' can't be opened because open is not allowed to open documents in Terminal."
i've already given terminal full disk access and i tried to get my smapi error log but i couldn't find the error logs in my stardew files

Better Artisan Good Icons uses deprecated code (IModHelper.Content) and will break in the next major SMAPI update.
Did you previously have a bundle mod on this save?
That specific error usually occurs with a specific other mod.

No, that's the thing.
Bundle mods are generally really bad for a save, as bundles are baked into a save

SMAPI 3.18.0 raised deprecation levels to the final stage, meaning SMAPI will now show yellow warning dialogues for mods with deprecated code. For the user, this means that the mod will break in the upcoming SMAPI 4.0 if it is not updated. If you are concerned about losing certain mods, it is recommended to create a backup of Stardew Valley 1.5.6 now (see !backup), but at present most modders are updating their code so that their mods can be released when 1.6 releases. Most major mods are not expected to be broken for a long period of time after 1.6 releases.
If a bundle mod is coded well, you're good to go!
But if not, it breaks your save.
And not in a fun way, in a "you can't play on it anymore realistically" way.

You need to make a mod that uses HD Portraits. You can find another HD Portrait mod for Alex and replace the image file with this one. Or you can learn to make a pretty basic Content Patcher mod that uses HD Portraits to use the high res image. People in #making-mods-general can help you get started if you need to do that
I think according to the comments, the author intends for it to be used with Portraiture, but I don't have personal experience with that since HD Portraits seems to be favored more these days.

I installed the "Mega expanded Stardew" collection
over 400 mods but it only loads like 50

Event repeater does not store events, it's just a tool for mods to be able to repeat events

Is there any way to make item exceptions towards the automate mod?
Like... For example, if I wanted to prevent Quartz from being smelted but I also want my quartz to be with my minerals, which is next to the furnaces. Is there a command or code I need to put into SMAPI or the mod folder that can make it an exception to the automate mod?

Why does it say farm migration to me but when I click OK and complete the command the text appears again
You're right, looks like Child Age Up causes it. I'm not sure if the mod can be safely removed since NPC mods can be tricky there, but if you don't mind losing it, that's an option (one I would recommend since the mod seems to have many bugs). There's also someone in the bug reports with the same problem. This is what they posted:
So I think change "AgeWhenKidsAreModified" in config.json of ChildToNPC back to 86 may help. If the same problem still happens, add the number until both of your children are grown to toddlers might be a solution.

it's actually most simple to zip your entire mod folder and send it to your laptop somehow, otherwise you'll need to make sure all the mods are configured exactly the same way and such
It looks like you installed a mod wrong, go to your mod folders and delete the Textures folder there, then reinstall whatever mod it is

I've been having problems getting Smapi to work with GOG and no just in general no mods it just says it failed to load with a bunch of code but when I follow the instructions online to put Smapi and Stardew in the same folder called mods I click smapi and it refuses to pop up its like it's waiting for me to go into developer mode of windows and make smapi a program feeling I wish I was kidding.

Hey guys. I installed Better Junimos mod and it seems that my Junimos are no longer harvesting. They certainly work fine in vanilla though.
Is there a known bug or conflict between this mod and a common mod such as Harvest with Scythe or something that could be the issue?
Mkay. Got it. There's an option called Avoid Harvesting Giant Crops.
I assumed it implied exactly as it states - that Junimos don't take down Giant Crops. But nope. It means Junimos won't take down crops that CAN become Giant.
It so happens that I planted a fuck ton of Cauliflower and I got one giant crop I'd like to keep. I assumed they would pick up any of the non-giant crops with that option turned on.

The latest released version of PPJA (Project Populate Json Assets, a popular mod) is a conversion from JA to DGA, but it has some bugs in it, and the mod author has retired. Sticking with the older JA version is probably your best option.
You can download the JA version from the Old Files section on Nexus, or by downloading the latest versions of the standalone components instead of the megapack (except for Farmer to Florist, where you would need to look under Old Files in the standalone version).

According to you, you are forced to override the birthday keys with $q with UCR itself. What I am saying is that by converting UCR to CFD, you can affect the Wizard's dialogue response without affecting alternate NPCs. I could, say, patch Characters/Dialogue/Wizard with the $q response, so that ONLY on the birthday for the Wizard, you could start the $q response, which would then take its answer also from the Wizard's dialogue file.
Now, you said UCR does pregnancy discovery.
Is that also in StringsFromCSFiles?

Good. I'd also suggest you note on your requirements once you do that CORE is only required for Unique Courtship Response 5, and both are optional. This will allow people to have compat if they'd like and won't cause an error. You can similarly only patch in the UCR stuff when CORE is installed, since it will cause errors when that happens without it installed.
the line that's throwing an error according to the stacktrace is just calling the base method for receiveLeftClick so I have no idea where that could be coming from

I deleted Vortex app, deleted all items in mod folder, then uninstalled via steam the actual game. then reinstalled the game when i tried to start it this error happened
any ideas on what i did ? or how to fix
