You need to install Producer Framework Mod; Console Commands is not compatible; Quest Framework is not compatible; and I'm not sure that Unique Children Talk is compatible with Android, either.

This error is in the GameMenu - and it occurs right after CP made an edit related to Earthy Interface. Try reinstalling Earthy Interface and see if the error persists.
Can anyone diagnose what causing this severe lag?
I know I'm on mobile but i've tested on it's own it's capable of running in 60fps on furthest zoom. With Earthy recolor+SVReimagined also the same result.
Also the mods might seem too many but they're all relatively small, mostly QoL additions.

Try launching the game and your save file again. When it starts to lag, then grab the new log and repost it.
Content Patcher Animations causes lag on PC, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's causing big lag for you.

- Update SMAPI, Automate, and Content Patcher;
- UI Info Suite 2 has an unofficial update - get that

Update! Got rid of PyTK, walk through trellis and did everything else yall suggested and it worked!! A little laggy but we were actually able to get through the day with no issues! i can't thank yall enough for the help!

since the crashing seems inconsistant i cant say for sure but, i think it was the more rings mod, idk why, it doesnt add recipies, idk what/if its conflicting with, idk why it sometimes didnt crash, i never left the house when originally testing but it still crashed sometimes idk
during testing i would sometimes spawn on the right side of the bed and have to go through the sleep trigger to leave the house, idk if that was involved
i guess it does add items to npc shops, and someone mentioned something about custom npcs playing strangely with friendship checks
i probably should redo the 50 50 keeping more rings

That's Platonic Partners and Friendships. Make sure to go over its config and make the changes you want.
What if someone is already a friend, will changing the config cause them to change their relation as well or do I have to reload the game
I'm honestly not entirely sure. I suppose it'd be best to make the changes before you load a save, though. Better safe than sorry.

Looks like you have a mod that edits the sidewalk part of tilesheet and overwrites your recolour. Could help finding the culprit if you provide your smapi log.

That used to happen to me on season change as well. When i quit and reload it always fixed. I think it was about 2 recolor mods editing the same area. You may want to take out one or change their load order

if that's enabled, it uses a specific seed for the random number generator, so you should get the same results if you reload the game multiple times or something
(I'm not sure what conditions it uses for the generator, but it's basically "should the random numbers be reliable")

when you run SMAPI's installer like it says, it'll create a Mods folder inside Stardew's folder automatically
the installer will tell you what to do and where the folder ends up

since i am new to the modding thing, i got another question if i do decide to delte the mods my game files wont be deleted will they? And also does the command window always need to be open?
Mods shouldn't ever replace your game files, so deleting them is fine. (There are "XNB mods" where you save over the actual game files instead of putting them in the Mods folder, but people never recommend those anymore; it's mostly foreign language modders who still work with those.)
Your saves are also stored elsewhere & don't get deleted by mods either. Most mods won't break anything in them, though things can get slightly weird if you remove map mods or new NPCs.
And yes, the command window stays open the whole time (though there might be some way to hide it, I'm not sure
). You can type console commands in there & see live messages/errors from mods, so it's helpful sometimes.
(More specifically, closing the console window will close Stardew too, though you can minimize it instead)

seems like something thats the fault of BFAV being a half-broken zombie framework. i guess i could suggest reinstalling that to see if it fixes it

Remove Random NPCs if you're playing multiplayer (it may be in the market day directory)
The game did not crash, when im loading into saved world it just restarts the game and it does not put me in my world

Well I think I found my issue now to reput mods back in the folder, do a new game and see. If it is I'll post incase others have problems with it too
it looks like Ornithologist's Guild or one of the few DGA furniture packs added a dummy recipe
you can do patch export Data/CraftingRecipes to get a list of recipes and then search within files to find it possibly

It worked fine (with a few minor hiccups but not as bad as it was before). Then started lagging again

Well my problem is fixed. I forgot and left my farm map listed as it's own custom map which messed up the town somehow. When it's changed to just be a map replacement it works perfectly fine

Generic Mod Config Menu (or GMCM https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5098) adds the option to edit some, but not all, mod configs from either the title screen or the options page in a save. It also has a special screen to edit keybinds for all mods with GMCM integration.
The presence of the gear it adds to the title screen is not a method for checking whether mods are installed, only whether GMCM is installed.

So I tried an experiment where I losded a save with no mods (rename the folder and put a period in front of it). It is one of my mods causing a lag issue. Just not sure which one

I”ll open my game, the menu launches fine, the bit between the menu snd me starting launches fine. Its when I start actually playing after a few minutes to an hour that it starts lagging so much that my character can barely move
sometimes you just need to stop playing after some time. it might be memory leak but don't quote me on that. you might need to wait for more knowledgable people help you later on
it also happens if there's a lot of processing going on - like if you harvest a bunch of crops you can't pick up.
which doesn't seem to be your case - but dynamic lighting, mist, and any other dynamic weather effects could 'help' too
Then might as well not be playing the game. -_- sorry. Just really annoyed because it only takes a few minutes to lag
if it's something like crops - the lag should go away once the crops get picked up. If it's just dynamic lighting and things I.. to each their own, I guess.

Like idk if it has anything to do with it, but I can spend a whole day doing whatever and it’ll lag by the end of the day vs me watering or picking crops, then going to sleep
convenient inventory might be processing weird - like coffin said, it's taking up more time than it should. what featurs of convenient inventory are you a big fan of?

so you have two mods that look - to me - like they're using more processing time than I'd be comfortable with. convenient inventory doesn't seem to be using enough to cause massive lag, but ... it seems like a lot compared to similar mods such as convenient chests

with all of your content patcher stuff, the time between days may still take a bit - but as long as it's not affecting your walking during the day ...

I don't think convenient inventory is the main problem. Mostly because it just doesn't make sense
but I'm definitely not super knowledgeable about how that one works. It just shouldn't be making you lag while you're walking
the other two would both have to keep up with your movement and things, so they'd be the more obvious culprits.

Just rename the appropriate mod with a dot like you just did with Mods folder
they might be trying to affect the same thinger, which could be causing a conflict.

Same. Lol. I expect there to be a few minor hiccups cos I am running mods in general. But it wasn’t like it was before
any time you can trace a problem to starting mostly after the install of a single mod , it's usually worthwhile to try it again without that one.
You're not running so many that troubleshooting gets ridiculous, but you have a few that definitely dig into the guts of things!
The higher number of mods you have, the higher the chances for lag and stuttering - especially with mods that dynamically change.
In contrast, I'm running 350 some odd, but most of mine are simple content patcher things - new crops and artisan goods, very few new sprites, and nothing dynamic like yours
less likely to cause issues like yours, but also a B-- to troubleshoot which mod did what if something goes wrong.
note: that's the last time I call Raffadax simple.
Base structure, it's not super complicated, but the sheer number of items it adds...that's where things get complicated.

It was a bit confusing cos this happened on a new laptop (my old one bricked). Its an identical one as my old laptop (in terms of specs) and the dynamic reflections ran fine on that but not this one.
Anyway. Glad it’s solved and I can play the game now
no idea why it'd be a thing on one computer and not another if the other mods are identical, but... its definitely not unheard of. just outside my knowledge realm beyond "yes, that can happen"

how can i do that? how can i mix and match so each NPC will have a specific potrait that is by a diff artist of a diff NPC for example
I have 0 knowledge on coding and i don't think i can really learn it (as it make it something i can study and prioritize)
youll have to see if each of your portrait mods has configs that allow you to choose which character they are editing. (you can check this easily if you have Generic Mod Config Menu)
if any of them dont have a config, you can just go into the assets folder and delete all of the portraits for the characters you dont want that mod to affect
Or you can just copypaste the portrait you want to use and overwrite it on the assets folder of the mod
It much simpler this way but don't forget to create a backup for the portrait that will be overwritten. Sure you can just reinstall if you want to reset to default

Yes - it loads last, so it overrides any other portrait changes.

Remove Seasonal Cute Characters or delete the portraits from the mod folder.
you could rename the mod you want to load last with a Z at the beginning of it
RSV isn't patching the portraits because you are using a HD mod, and the portraits from RSV aren't HD.

DCBurger's portraits are high def, so you're using portraiture, which renders portraits in a different way. The portraits added by RSV's Seasonal Outfits are not high def, so they can't be rendered.
Hey friends! New to this server. I’m trying to play with a friend on multiplayer, and my mine entrance is showing up in the normal spot, and his isn’t. His entrance seems to be by the adventures guild but isnt working.
We have the same mod list. And the problem happens on new worlds even with either of us hosting. Any help?

ok so the wildflour mega pack is a compilation of all the other wildflour packs you have installed, so its unnecessary to have both. either get rid of the megapack or get rid of all the individual packs

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false
You can ignore the error that pops up, though.

they inc;luded a compatibility patch for mutltiple mods in the download but it didn't work. i even moved the assests into the main assesdt folder
they dont work the same
so what you want to do is go into the compatibility patches and copy the folder that matches the title of whatever mod you want to change the assets of. then go out into your mods folder and paste, then tell it to replace files

Reverted to the backup save, switched back to TimeSpeed instead of TimeMaster, deleted Ornithologists Guild (threw a weird chain of errors on the log from the other night after using a warp totem)

Reverting to the save by itself didn't fix it, I'm guessing it was either TimeMaster or Orn Guild
i think thats the same concept i just explained. since smapi is looking for manifests and that mod doesnt have a manifest its "empty" in smapi's eyes

does anyone know if the walk to desert redux/ridgeside valley compatibility issue where you get stuck in a certain area of the road without being able to exit any of the normal access points has been fixed yet? It's been long enough since I played that save that I've forgotten where exactly I shouldn't go to avoid that issue and am kinda afraid to go exploring there in case I get stuck again :/

hey, I was looking in the wtdr files out of curiosity, and I noticed a discrepancy that may be meaningless... the position for every other working warp is written as {"Position": {"X": 0, "Y": 20}, but for the ridgeside village warps it's written as {"Position": {"X": "0", "Y": "20"}, could the extra quotes around the values for the positions be breaking it? or is that a meaningless discrepancy?
(just seeing if I can get a hotfix for my own files atp, not publishing anything ofc)

Save Backup is built into SMAPI. Reinstalling it shouldn't break your game.
i deleted mine be because the save backup its not compatible anymore, and since i just used someone com.zane excepts for thier save file and mods
I don't know what you did, Azz, but it sounds like you should go back to whomever helped you in the first place. All I can say is that to fix it, you need to reinstall SMAPI.

"Save Backup" in the mobile sense is the game's middle of day save mechanism

the weird thing is the save itself is accessible, as in I'm going through the load menu and not the new menu

I basically closed down the game as soon as the initial cutscene finished and then worked on testing load times. I might just play a few days once I'm up for it and then see if load in times are shorter after that, because I did notice shop population seems to be one of the last processes in smapi that takes place like 12.5 minutes in so it could just be that. I guess I'm just nervous about how the game will run and wanted to make sure there were no glaring issues present in my log 😅

It's not smapi not read it, it's smapi crash even before loading mods

Selecting either option just reopens the dialogue. The only thing I can do is swing my axe with smart cursor but despite getting to negative 16 stamina I didn't pass out

from a bug report on the missing wizard on Jier's HD Portraits
The portraits do not change but if I change the name of Magnus to Wizard in the Conten.json and in the .png the problem is solved....

after all, the Magnus file is not in JierHDPortraits but in JierHDSVEPortraits
and for you that doesn't do any good since the new uploader has a different UniqueID and therefore all SVE characters should be loaded from AnimeHDSVEPortraits

nah, the issue exists for almost a year now and was copied over by literally copying the entire content.json over

Android SMAPI does not currently work for SDV 1.5.6.61. We do not know if or when it will be made compatible.
Mod support for 1.5 on Android is still experimental, so many mods are broken or buggy. That's often something SMAPI needs to fix, and we may not be able to provide a solution.
If you find a mod bug on Android, first make sure that:
a) you have the latest SMAPI version from https://github.com/ZaneYork/SMAPI-Android-Installer/releases;
b) you have the latest mod version(s) or have the last-known Android-compatible version;
c) and the mod author hasn't already addressed it on the mod page (e.g. via an Android-specific version or comments).
If all of those are true, feel free to ask for help in #archived-modded-support with your full SMAPI log: https://smapi.io/log.

I'm assuming something went horribly wrong with your mods given that most of the errors were empty folders and missing manifests
Only thing that causes it, is cracked version of the game. If it is paid version then try to reinstall the game through smapi.
That seems to have fixed it 🤔 Could it be replacement textures fucking it up? I have the edits downloaded that are drag and drop relapcers into the files

oki- so i have romancable rasmodia installed- and it should be doing the magnus portrait (ive removed the hd sve mod i was using early that was a complete mess)- yet this one wont load either- and im not sure if the log can be any assistance as to why :3

i actually stole the textures from the mod that we were trying to get working this morning-
and was trying to make SVE load those-
and you replaced the ones in Romanceable Rasmodia with them, correct?

not that simple, we'll have to write our own little HD Portrait mod for Rasmodia (or steal the code from @rose vessel and replace the images, which is what I'm gonna do 😆 )

put your Magnus.png from the anime mod in the assets folder and rename it to Rasmodia (for obvious reasons) and delete the images that were already inside

Seems normal to me. I have some mods like that too but it shouldn't cause any problems or known problems.
I believe as long as it doesn't change up the same thing it should work.

hiii guys so basically i got mods, played with them for like a day and then deleted them and now my save wont load:( i tried doing what google told me to but idk i just cant do it:( anyone wanna help pleazzeeee
you can't just remove the mods (including SMAPI i assume) and hope the save will load
your best bet is installing SMAPI back, without any other extra mods, then playing one more day in that state
afterwards you can try removing SMAPI again
(unless you're on Android. then you're screwed and removing mods is a no-no)
(and error handler?)
Error Handler is kinda part of SMAPI, which is why i didn't mention it
