If you're referencing the messages from Ginger Island Mainlaind Adjustments -that's going to happen after removing NPCs. Since those messages are yellow, they shouldn't break your game.

Delete PyTK and TMXL Map Toolkit. PyTK is obsolete and no longer needed. I don't know if TMXL is compatible with Android.

Not sure what to tell you? They don't interact at all. The only NPC who interacts with the Farm Cave is Demetrius, and that's one time in vanilla.
Like I said, you can ignore the yellow messages.

It could mean that the original mod didn't set specific schedules for those characters.

Yeah - you can leave those if you've already done the replacing, but in future - I'd avoid any mod that tells you to replace the game's content files.
But if you have backups, you can restore the originals.

Hi there - I'm having a problem I've not enountered before. The SMAPI log parser page isn't accepting my crash log. I've tried multiple different ways to upload it, even copy/pasting everything in the text file, and the web page keeps freezing. D: I just had a crash with the MARGO mod

Should I wait a day while using the vanilla farmhouse? When I just replace it and start the game its glitched andparts of the old mod are still visible in the farm house, its unusable like this :/

what version of stardew valley do you have? 1.5.6.39 works, but 1.5.6.51 does not currently work with SMAPI
.6.51 is weird in that it isn't the newest version in every region, for some reason

happened to me as well, what i did was
- uninstall the game and SMAPI Stardew Valley
- delete 'StardewValley' folder
- re-install the game and patch with SMAPI installer, install SMAPI Stardew Valley
- when prompted, direct it to the location of StardewValley folder and let the SMAPI Stardew Valley app access it.
- once done, it'll re-prompt you and you've to let it access that folder again.
- then it'll tell you migration has finished and asks to restart, then boots up as normal.
This is still broken, I tried now to delete everything and tried to reinstall a safe I used before but it still looks like this. I still dont understand why there is no vanilla farmhouse visible when I dont have any farmhouse mods installed ^^
Maybe wait until the next farmhouse upgrade?

Is there a possibility to find out what is affecting my farmhouse? I now tried to install Lnhs Farmhouse and its basically just glitched out walls in the middle of the room and the rest is just as horrible as the screenshot I posted, not a single change besides these glitches to my farmhouse. Mod is appearing in SMAPI and the Mod menu ingame π The screenshot I posted isnt vanilla either right? Before I had Aces expanded farmhouse but that also looks different in the nexus screenshots ...
I also still am unsure about how to deinstall vortex and not destroying anything since im mid playthrough. (can I just delete vortex + folders and keep everything like it is since there is also the folder structure in the stardew folder?)
give me a second to type out instructions
- create a new folder somewhere (on your desktop, in documents, wherever) that you'll name, for the purpose of this instruction, "sv mod storage"
- open vortex and select "open mod staging folder"
- select all the folders in the folder that opens for you and copypaste them to the "sv mod storage" folder you just made
- purge mods in vortex
- go to the /Mods folder ("open game mods folder" in vortex iirc) and start going thru folders.
- if something has "managed by vortex" and a config file in it, move the config file to the corresponding mod in your "sv mod storage" folder and nuke the folder. (if it doesnt have a config file just nuke the folder)
- if a folder doesnt have "managed by vortex" in it and is just a normal mod folder with manifest/subfolders etc leave it alone
- once you've cleaned your folder that way, remove stardew valley from vortex
- move/copypaste the mods from your "sv mod storage" folder to the /Mods folder
after this you can just install stardrop on top and it'll be fine. or you can just launch smapi from its own .exe
you might lose some config despite the efforts above, but that'll be the worst of it

This is my farmhouse when installing the Lnh Farmhouse Mod. It looked like this too with Aces Expanded House installed but this isnt vanilla right? (Despite the glitches from the new mod that I actually want) Everything seems broken π¦
I am at the Purge step now but after that the mods are still visible in vortex and the mod staging folder, is that normal?
The normal mods folder now has way less mods in it so I guess purging is deleting them in the normal sdv mod folder correct? So its only around 20-30 mods insteaf of 460 in it that I have to go through if that is correct

When trying to install the Lnh Farmhouse its just some glitches inside the house which imply that something is added there but not really π Is there any way of resetting the farmhouse to vanilla so I can add another mod on top? The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false

hey, i'm currently playing a Modpack with a Friend of mine but the game always freezes for 10 - 12 seconds when it hits 12pm and 6pm and sometimes at other times too.
we used the profiler mod, but the only thing it tells us, is that it comes from content patcher, handling Β΄GameLoop.TimeChangedΒ΄

- This mod isn't open source so it's a bit tougher to try and diagnose what is happening
- this is a harmony mod so there are a million ways things could be broken.

Basically the way the code works is that it replaces the vanilla code but not in a delicate way

Your community center bundles are broken...and unfortunately, you'll have to revert to a previous save and delete All Bundles, then sleep one day and hope that the CC corrects itself.

Hello I want to play different farms with different mods for each specific one. For example, for my personal farm Iβd like quite a few miles on it but Iβm planning on joining a few multiplayer games. Each one of those would be using different mods.

I found these Tank items every now and then, now got a Fish Tank but Im unable to put them there. Does somebody know what I can use them for and how? π I thought its some sort of fish tank deco or something
I also seem to miss some Alternative Textures packs, I installed several packs for rugs that dont appear in the Menu when using the Paint Bucket while others work fine. Is that a common problem? Reinstalling didnt help so far with these packs. Maybe too many packs?
They're likely from the Natural Aquarium Project mod or the Natural Terrarium Project mod.

Do you have Increased Fish Tank Capacity?
If your current tank is full, then you wouldn't be able to add more items
Also, did you get the Fish Tank Reskin and Terrarium Conversion? They shouldn't be a requirement, but they were designed for use with the decoration/critter additions.

yeah those are only recoloring modded furniture, you need to get those furniture mods in order to actually be able to retexture them
so arent these installed? when I searched for "Outdoor Garden Furniture" i got a result, same with "fairy garden furniture". And many Rugs Packs are missing too π¦
Some Rug packs seem to be bound to very specific rugs so thats solved, the other "something isnt installed" problem not since I already installed them after reading that in Smapi and it looks like they are installed too

Yea but "[AT] Fairy Garden Furniture Pack" is in my folder ^^ If you Ctrl+F and search for Fairy Garden I can see it in the log. Same when searching for "Outdoor Garden Furniture". Ill reinstall them, but I already downloaded them is what i can see at Nexus. maybe because they are in a subfolder of the mod itself? But since they are searchable in SMAPI I dont really understand why SMAPI itself tells me they are not there

You need the DGA versions of them in order for the recolor to show up, if that makes sense? Because the mod recolor sets you have installed are predicated on having the DGA assets first.

Ok let me explain it like this. When you unzip a file, you'll get an (uncompressed) folder. That is the mod, so you can delete or move the compressed (zip) files somewhere else

I have MARGO installed and i picked the Ecologist profession and the "50% more health and energy" portion doesn't seem to be working? The salmonberries i have still only give me 25 energy. Does it only apply to berries picked up after picking the profession?

Find the mod folder where the replacement portrait will go. Inside that folder should be other subfolders, maybe one called "assets." Look for the name of the character you will be replacing, and rename the new portrait that EXACT SAME name. Delete the old portrait and drop your new one into the same spot.

i just freshly downloaded that mod from nexus and it was indeed a 7zip file
install it and you get a context menu on right click to zip/unzip
after you install it it should be in your right click menu as an option

How do I update smapi? I downloaded the new update but from there on im. genuinley stuck
it says to run the installer but my laptop wont let me run it, says its to protect my pc or smthin
turns out you were right, I used Tiled to fix it for myself

No, you would need to drag and drop it into your main Mods folder like all the other downloads. Just make sure you delete the older version of the mod first.
Hey guys, just joined here and looking to see if anyone could help me with what I think should be a simple modding issue
I have the Seasonal Cute Characters mod and found a wizard replacer mod that I also liked, but it didn't have season sprites and I decided to make some myself just for personal use
I replaced the pngs in the mod folder thinking it'd just be a simple swap but for some reason it doesnt show in game and shows him with the original seasonal sprite and portrait
So, sometimes just adding additional portraits isn't enough; you have to make sure the content.json includes the edit patches for the seasons, just like all the other NPCs.

ok thank you. I wasn't sure i'd need to mess with them since I got a replacer for haley that, to make work with seasonal, just had me replace the png files the same way i did with my own. That one has been working fine
Yeah, but for the Seasonal Cute - if the original mod didn't have seasonal portraits for somebody, then it would stand to reason that there wouldn't be code for those portraits...does that make sense?
So just plopping the new portraits in wouldn't do anything unless you added the code for content-patcher to add the patches into the game.
The wizard does have them though. Seasonal's original portrait/sprite for summer version of the wizard shows up in my game still after replacing all the files
which confuses me cuz when i search my computer i cant find any instance of the file for that portrait existing anymore
