Because it's altering the map file
So now my biggest pickle is to switch arv, lucikiel, and shiko maps n spouse rooms into tmxl (i might just remove matthew altogether

- Stardew Valley Expanded 1.14.24 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.JA.SVE, FlashShifter.SAAT.SVE, FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedALL, FlashShifter.SVE-FTM).

Looks like you don't have all the parts of SVE. No idea if you deleted them yourself or if they somehow disappeared during the download, but delete the SVE files you have right now, download all parts of SVE again and reinstall it with all the subfolders.

The problem is that you didn't properly install the mod, I think. Your SMAPI's only running three mods, these three most likely being the ones that come with SMAPI.

Have you actually extracted the zip to your mods folder? That would be my first guess. A log would make this easier to find out.

hi, games be going fine for about an in game year, but now every fish i pull up turns into weeds? any idea of what or which mod is causing it?
When you say turns into weeds - you mean you can visually see that you've caught a fish, but it changes once it's in your inventory?
weeds are now the only thing that the fishing rod can get, but it still sometimes comes with a chest so i think something is messing with it, also my fishing skill is 9 and i already finshed the bundle

has anyone downloaded the stardew aquarium mod and had issues continuing from the opening cutscene? my game just completely freezes and i have to force quit the game, ive seen someone else have the same issue on the nexus page and they suggested that it's could be due to the music file being changed but i have no idea where to even look for that

so on stardew valley expanded's nexus page it has multiple download options. If i want sdv expanded with the grandpa's farm do i need to download both the expanded file and the grandpas farm file or just grandpa's farm?

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false

Quick question regarding Stardrop.
I how do I toggle Stardrop's ability for trying to download mods? I use Vortex for Skryim SE/AE, however when I am downloading mods for that, Stardrop overrides Vortex's ability, and tries to install it into Stardrop instead of Vortex..
Mm I think you'll have to manually remove the API key from Stardrop when you're going to DL mods for Skyrim

I tried deactivating it's connection to nexus, however it still tried to download, but it just errored
I ended up having to toggle then retoggle Vortex's connection to Nexus..

Technically yes but if it's just a color thing that may just be on the mod itself.

The crop color for when it's harvestable its very hard to tell if it's ready as it's the same color as before it's ready to harvest but changing the color on the png doesn't help and I'm not sure how to edit the file to make it work and I don't wanna mess up any if the code stuff as I'm not fully sure wht I would need to change

Basically, from what I can tell, SMAPI on android likes to install itself in some place that doesn't get found normally, it's a whole annoying thing to find the errorlogs folder - especially since you've run SMAPI, apparently? - and once they do, tada, they find the mods folder.

My items are all kinds of messed up. I'm guessing it is do to having too many ja items? For example, using the lookup anything mod on the shipping collection, what should be a jelly is actually showing as a wine. It's doing that for a lot of items, even on a fresh save.

I don't understand how so many unconnected mods have json failures - or different jsons in different files in the same mod (RSV)
The problem is that the beating heart icon is not showing when I talk to an npc from Ridgeside village.
RSV has a couple files that aren't parsing correctly. Hang tight, please.

I have just one more question, if I don't bother you.
Now that I'm in a place I can type my thoughts rather than on mobile, a few thoughts:
- Is SMAPI Android in alpha at present? Much as I'd rather keep that there, starting from June 26th ZaneYork dropped the alpha tag (unlike the April version). That's why in the suggested thing I excised it, but if it would help reduce people assuming it's at full compatibility, it'd be helpful to have.
- I'm of two minds about the "some mods may have experimental android versions" portion. From an anecdotal standpoint, most mods either have their mobile compatibility patches built in (SpaceCore), don't work (NPC Adventures) or a different patch - the reason I included SVE and RSV in the original suggestion was due to the mass of people asking about SVE/RSV in here, to reduce that. I'm a fan of the succinctness of that first part, but then I have to ask if it wouldn't be better to add the mobile compatibility stuff for RSV and SVE to their respective commands.
- The new command listed also doesn't direct people to the github to check the issues on the Github page, just the latest version from the Github. We're not generally mobile experts here, and it's often that the solutions can be found in the Github (someone linked an issue that lists the mods that work on the github!) which might help out, so its loss from the command is potentially an issue.
- As stated previously, pins versus commands - probably both. Unfortunately, unless there's a way to force people to read the pins before posting an issue, people do not read those. It's an unfortunate but nonetheless true fact. Commands at least allow us to bring up the command so we can tell them to read the command. I'd love to not have to call the commands, but it is what it is.

It's just strange this is happening again with you not touching the files
Android SMAPI should not be capable of altering what's already there, and you got it to work previously.
So it should never be altering the files of yours itself.

And the mobile patch is probably still going to be identified as 2.5.0-e6
just because it'd have to be updated to version it IIRC
a couple things: 1. update spacecore. it probably updated shortly after you downloaded it. 2. one of the mods that uses ingredients from Wildflour's gourmet pantry hasn't updated since 2.0 of that mod and thus has the wrong ingredients listed. this is causing problems. 3. one of your mods that uses Miller Time has something incorrectly defined. it might need to be updated by the author or it could be some other issue.
To fix 2, you should go to https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/14886 and see which of the mods that lists gourmet pantry as a dependency hasn't been updated since March 21. that one will either need to be fixed internally by you or fixed by the author (check the comments to see if anyone has reported this issue yet).
I don't know how many of these fixes will fix everything but they're a good place to start. you might simply have too many JA mods

Okay! Could it be that I'm using the mega pack from wildflour and not the separate gourmet pantry? The non wildflour mods I have that list pantry as a requirement have been updated this year
and all the people whining on the Github probably don't really help with motivation either
(Compatibility rewriting is complicated, especially when we're dealing with different implementations of .NET like on Android. The changes in the upcoming SMAPI 3.18.5 might help a bit though.)
the megapack shouldn't be a problem. it's not one of Wildflour's mods that's having the issue, it's a mod that uses her ingredients. in March she changed the internal name of things and someone hasn't updated their mod to reflect that change. it doesn't matter that they updated this year, just if they updated after March 21 specifically

could be! it's something that uses cinnamon, confectioner's sugar, coconut oil, cocoa powder, and brown sugar. I think the gummy worms one just uses pectin so I'm not sure if that's your culprit. try digging round any of your recipe mods and see what they use for ingredients. it might be a bit tedious, unfortunately
If you have VSCode or Notepad++, you can search through your mods folder more easily

Well the maple mod was updated after march 21. The only one not updated after is the gummy worms one. But I think it is the maple one, because that's the only one that uses those ingredients. for testing SMAPI mods only, pathos has a more curated github repo of them which is easier to work with

sorry for the late reply, i was at work 🙂 so you would check by going into the Object folder and look at the ingredients listed in every food item's object.json for things that don't exist anymore. all of the ingredients from a wildflour mod will start with "wf ". if the ingredient is from any of wildflour's mods but doesn't start with "wf" then you need to go into the wildflour mod it should be from, find what it's called now, and replace that.
OR if you notice that things should start with "wf" but don't then you can report it on the mod page and the author will hopefully update it.
OR you can not play with this mod if it's the one causing trouble. again, though, it might not be the one causing trouble, so you'll probably want to still check to see if it's the problem child or else you'll have to find which one else is upset

sadly, at present, 2.4.1 Ridgeside is in the file archive, and more importantly, it may not work properly on mobile.
The only piece of good news is that the mobile compat patch should still work on 2.4.1 thanks to the mobile fix being developed then
But it's a real close thing.
Otherwise, in order to use Ridgeside, you will have to wait for the translated version to update for it to be used in your native language.

The observation I'm making is: when I enter the mobile patch, the game has errors.

So you'd need to backdate, but the 2.4.1 version's in the archive.

2.5.1 mobile patch = yes
2.4.1 translation = no
they do not work together
When I use the delayed version, I can play normally.

go with whatever wildflour has named her items. so if it just says "wf cinnamon" in the file then that's the name now!
and do that for anything that is from wildflour's food mod and gourmet pantry
also maybe poke the mod author of the maple recipes to let them know that they need to update

yellow are warnings and should not impact your game

it caused recipes to not appear in my game, i fixed some but im still getting json shuffle on a fresh save
So, summerofjade is right -most of these are code warnings that are there mostly for mod authors.
BUT
This one has a manifest issue. And since it adds items to your collections, recipes, etc., you should probably see if it can be fixed
i forgot the fresh meat mod, so that was a problem for some recipes i think
Also - Lurking in the Dark can't be loaded because you need to update Spacecore.
