Not entirely sure what mod does this, but when I bring a prismatic shard to the desert pillars, it just vibrates and I get some text saying that something's missing. Anyone happen to know what mod would do this by chance

The short version is they are using the old SMAPI plus 2.4 Ridgeside to make it work. Otherwise, if they upgrade to the newest one, they can't access the village as apparently "installing the mobile patch" doesn't work

Sounds like mobile is having problems again then. You can either hope for someone else to write a better patch or learn how to fix it yourself.

I would think so, but the game before this, it happened with multiple different items. but i deleted a mod so i thought that had to do with it. so i restarted and then this item is buggy. i can take this mod out though no biggie

hi! i'm new here and i had question- when downloading the newest version of SMAPI (3.18.4) on my mac when i open the install on macOS command i keep getting this error:

so unless their game is on the desktop - which would be a red flag for a pirated copy - that shouldn't be a problem

its been missing its right and lower walls for quite a while now, and the only mod that i have that edits the farmhouse is for my cellar

Smapi mobile doesn't have much credibility, so few mods work.

PC and Android are different and have different coding.

I'm trying to make my log on smapi.io/log but when I enter my log and click on "save and parse log" it loads forever and when I click the button again it suddenly says the site is not available.

your log is too big, probably because an error keeps repeating every frame. usually you should quit the game as soon as it starts happening, to reduce the log size

if you use command prompt, type StardewModdingAPI.exe., for powershell type ./StardewModdingAPI.exe
you can open the cli by navigating to your stardew valley folder, where the exe resides, and typing either cmd or powershell in the folder's address bar
^ you can also shift rightclick and open in powershell
^ or if you have windows terminal, normal rightclick and open in terminal

I don't know much about that but in the save folder there are two files. You have edit both of them.

Wasn't that a common bug for when you have Tmxl spouse rooms? Even when you aren't married to that particular Npc. I could be mistaken though.

Want to use or update a mod, but it's using TMXL for its maps and you don't know how to manually convert (or don't want to)? You can use the TMXL2CP converter to automatically convert the maps into Content Patcher format. Follow the instructions (and remember to change map references in the normal jsons afterwards if necessary, like in schedule data!) and your mod will be ready to use in the current version of Content Patcher! https://github.com/AnotherPillow/TMXL2CP

If you're using Steam or GOG on Windows, you will need to set your launch options in order for Steam/GOG to automatically launch with SMAPI. The SMAPI installer will tell you what to set as the launch options when it completes (green text). The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false

You're missing some files - the folders are empty. If you look at your log, you can see the error in the red text.

Oh I've fixed that one, for some reason Linux users need to change the file name from textures to Textures

There are a few things going on:
- Delete PyTk - it's obsolete and no longer needed. If you get a manifest error as a result of deleting, you can either fix the manifest or ignore the error.
- You have a ton of updates that you need to do.
Once you've done both of those - try playing the game and as soon as it crashes (if it crashes again), get a log and post it here.
A couple of things:
- <<18:33:03 WARN SMAPI Found MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server installed, which may conflict with SMAPI. If you experience errors or crashes, try disabling that software or adding an exception for SMAPI and Stardew Valley.>>
- You need to install Producer Framework Mod and PFM Fish Hatchery (dependencies for other mods)
- Check the differences between what you have vs what the file contents on Nexus show for Event Lookup & ModUpdate Menu - files could be missing or corrupted.
Once you've done these things, if your sprinklers still won't update, post a new log here.

Hi, thanks for the answer, but I don't think these two problems are related to crash - which is not even crash, but console spam and game freeze - game was fine as it was before I updated SVE and removed Yoba mod, nothing more changed - at least not from map changing mods. And I learned the hard way that updates sometimes don't mean anything, because I can have newest update, but manifest is still behind - BFAV for example, got newest unofficial one, and still shows for update.
PyTK could absolutely be part of what's causing the crash. But there's not much more I can do unless we narrow down the possibilities.
Uninstalled MSI Afterburner, didn't realize i had both. Rebooted, opened it again and it loaded so... 🤞
This log doesn't show any updates were done - it shows the same set of needed updates. Also, MSI Afterburner & RivaTuner Statistics are still showing as enabled.
If your game doesn't load in, where is the crash happening? I can't see that in this SMAPI log.

It could yes, if it happened before, but it hasn't. Also, does PyTK add anything to the game itself? While it could be Thurstan mod, I don't think he edits anything in Woods map either..
But I think found the culprit.. somehow Yoba's teleport was still here, together with Map Edit mod modifications I did before 
Edit: Yep, fixed it by removing Map Edit data! 
Do a trace search - you'll see that PyTK is still calling patches

you have to open a command prompt inside the folder and run py main.py from that command prompt. i dont know how that works on mac, though

Hi! Sorry for the delay; I was working on Stardew Valley 1.6 for a bit, and I just switched back to mod updates on 1.5.6 today.
Unfortunately Chests Anywhere is currently broken on Android due to an issue with SMAPI on Android's compatibility rewrites. It's a bug in SMAPI itself, so it's not something I can fix in the mod code. That said, the upcoming SMAPI 3.18.5 has some changes which (when ported to Android) may help the SMAPI-on-Android maintainer improve the rewriters to avoid that issue.

I've never used this converter before, so I don't know if it works with NPC maps. Worst case scenario, you get an error and have to move things back to where they were

Why does my android smapi installer just stops at 93%? Like I ran the game, clicked accept on all the pop-ups, connected the stardew valley game to the stardew valley folder and yes I have the latest version of both the game and smapi. I just wanna play modded stardew valley.

Im still confused why tmxl would change the whole vanilla spouse rooms too, but i guess the problem is with tmxl from the start that makes it bug all the spouse rooms?

Hello, me and my friend are having problems while playing modded stardew together, some of the items are not matching, meaning that he sees some items as different from mine. We have the same mods, nothing else added, and mods are the same versions too. What can we do to fox this?
