It is in the Stardew folder not the mods folder itself and has a little chicken icon

Hey, been enjoying Stardew modded on my steam deck but have realized that Robin should be selling Hardwood Kegs from Grapes of Ferngill, but isnt.
Got a peice of mail telling me she should have it in stock but nothing's there, so I checked Garden Village's lil Goblin fella who says he sells machines but the only items available are ores and bars. A little test uninstall did have the kegs show up at Robins so I can't imagine it being another mods issue. Any ideas? Delving into the config of Garden Village didnt help, any edits I made just made all the shops not work.
I'm not super familiar with Garden Village, but it does seem like it tends to make things disappear from other shops

Something is messed up somewhere in the lines of NPCs in your Content.json. There's a Json parser on the SMAPI site that might be more helpful, and gives a parsed JSON link that you can share for more specific help.

well, artisan valley is listed as requiring this one, assuming the uniqueID is indeed unique, you'll need the pack

You need "core" and then english version

That error is saying it's failing to output sound somewhere.
you have to have sound outputting to somewhere, even if you mute it.

you'd have to open all 3 Custom_balcony .tmx files in tiled and change the warps to 15 45 and 16 45

I installed Stardew and didn't even know about modding until a few playthroughs with friends. Then I looked into SMAPI. I manually typed the folder location but it doest recongnize it.

The mac is running opencore to run latest os. All other modded games work fine

Compat mode exists because .NET is a POS

1.5.6 is exactly the same as 1.5.5 minus an annoying memory leak

Hang on. Just did a reinstall. I found the problem. Because the modded os is on an older model mac it quarantine blocked the steam install of the dll. The game sunswithout it but the dll does the checks and balances when a glitch happens. Ventura thought the dll was a virus

Ventura has an odd system security that I guess was to prevent people from hacking the efi and editing the base system files

No, it's not. You can't reverse your changes like that- if you still don't have the tilesheets, you can't save it in any form that the game will like.
You have to edit the TMX while all of its tilesheets are in the same folder as the TMX file.

Hey there, so not for me but on behalf of someone else. I have a friend who has been trying to download mods from nexus and theyre not downloading. They're telling me that they click manual download and it acts like its about to start the download but then it never does. Has this happened to anyone else?
When you say "they click manual download" do you mean "they click slow download"?

Ah, I wasn't here. If you still have the pngs, you can try running them through the converter again to get the hair.json

Yes, I guess. If you deleted the original sprites you cut up, you can search through your recycle bin so you don't have to move the hairs manually

Hello everyone, currently my girlfriend and I were playing together using MultiplayerMod. I was the one using PC, and she plays on Android. This error mostly occurred when she moving and quickly changing item, however sometimes even she stay doing nothing it also happening, so I'm not sure which...

i mean i find it a miracle its even possible to play pc and android together in multiplayer, but i dont expect anything can be done to help

hiii my friend and i just started playing and everything was normal on the first day but the second day we hopped on our time was out of sync and they couldn't pick up stuff or they could but there'd be a huge delay, everything was normal for me it was just their end

Ah I don't really know anything about BFAV, I can't help with this 😅 I'm not sure if anyone else here knows either tbh. All I know about BFAV is "It's buggy and animals will revert to their vanilla variants sometimes"

Hmm this might be complicated... would there be a way to, say, for the Aster's Bathroom Extension Mod (where the bathroom replaces spouseroom since I'm using it on a custom map), to get assigned to an "extra" spouse room? Like, not replace any of the actual spouserooms?
If you don't want it to replace custom spouse rooms I think it has to have specific compat or something
I use Bigger Farmhouse Map, also by Aster, and my bathroom doesn't replace any spouse room
Yeah issue is I have to use the spouse room replacer version of that mod since it isn't compatible with Aimon's farmhouse in the first place. So I wonder how I can have both. I have tried custom spouse rooms just now but they don't seem to mesh very well when I move the room & it still overwrites the actual spouse room so all the furniture and such they have is gone & they stand in the bathroom

Possible workaround I can think of.. use the one mod that lets you place spouse room items, set up a little fake room for her somewhere else in the farmhouse, somehow change her spawn/schedule point to be in that different spot, proceed as normal(?)

Hey - so what that means is both mods are trying to make a rule for the same item
i.e. they conflict
So the Artisan Valley PFM rule is the one that wins in this situation

There are a couple of bugs reported on the mod page. You could post a comment or report your issue there and hope that the author resolves it soon

And while BFAV is known to be buggy and should be phased out come 1.6, it still works to an extent

I wanted to try figuring out why Love of Cooking bugs out with Aster's Buildable Kitchen
I noticed that if I kept the original kitchen enabled, the modded kitchen would work, but if the original kitchen is gone, the modded kitchen always says "kitchen is currently in use"
I tried going into the map and just moving kitchen tiles to hide it so I could happily focus on the buildable kitchen, but that makes the "in use" bug still happen somehow
i've heard of this bug before, maybe discord search would turn up something?

I also visited the mod pages for both of those mods & the bug has been mentioned before on them, there just wasn't a solution suggested in response to them, so I tried to go in myself but... yeah, didn't work out 
I really love both mods, so it is difficult to give up one
I figured out my issue from a very helpful comment I found
Apparently you can ignore the message because that's what BFAV puts out before Json Assets loads
So basically as long as they show up in marnie's shop, it should work

These aren't game breaking errors but I appreciate any assistance!
These machines are from wildflour's amazing modpack! I loaded the game normally and three machines from that mod were in use for 3 hours and 20 minutes but it's been way past that w/out time skipping and the time on the machine hasn't changed. I've tried using a pickaxe and putting it back down again but that doesn't remove the production thing. I also get these reports:

The short answer is: you dont
Theres no need with mods to replace the games xnb files

I'm about to head to bed, and I've essentially spent the last... 12-14 hours or so workin' on making my mod folder. It has a lot of stuff I REALLY want, and I am fairly sure that PyTK is responsible for the fact my game would not load up. It launched, I could create my character, but the moment I clicked "Okay" in order to be taken to day 1 on my farm, it just never loaded.
My concern right now is: If I need to remove PyTK, how many of these additional buggers am I gonna need to remove?

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false
Also applies to you Witchy, mods dont need pytk to work anymore

Your farm is gorgeous!! Sadly, I don't know how to fix the bridges part but I can recommend a fix for a few other errors. ♡Do Eun's Female Ribbon Shirts♡\♡Do Eun's Female Ribbon Shirts♡\병합용 파일 because it's an empty folder, you can actually delete the 병합용 파일 because the png in it is meant for merging so this won't be an error. Choose Baby Gender is from 2016 and quite old. I recommend Family Planning (albeit was last updated 2019) on nexus if you want to change baby genders in game. You can also go into your save file to edit the baby's gender if you'd like. Better Mead Icons - BAGI Addon on nexus is a requirement for the Fancy AGI mod for meads as well as CustomWallsAndFloors by aedenthorn. This is only looking at the log at a glance but hope this helps!!
Also if you downloaded ARV from Nexus id suggest going to the east scarp server and getting the version that doesnt require pytk or tmxl
Thank you so much!! Glad to know the ARV error is harmless and I can uninstall PyTK!! I did download ARV from Nexus but I believe pytk wasn't a requirement last I downloaded it. TMX Toolkit no longer has pytk as a requirement so that's probably why.
Tmx toolkit is also a mod that is probably best to remove

Unsure about absolete but i know for a fact it has incompability issues with Extra Map Layers, which many mods use
ARV including many mods I use have it as a dependency, and I don't know if Extra Map Layers can substitute it somehow?
If you go to the East Scarp discord (link can be found on mod page) theres an ARV without that requirment
Tmxl can usually be replaced with content patcher, but idk about other mods
I'd really recommend updating all those mods and see if that fixes anything ^^ As Belle replied, PyTK is now obsolete and you can change the manifest.json of whatever mod's PyTK dependency from true to false.
yeah the updates rolled out not long ago so I'll get to that later. right now I just wanna make sure I know what the barrier between me and gameplay is.

Hi I have the smapi app on my android I've downloaded all the relevant files I wanted and unzipped them in the mods - stardew folder etc. I've restarted smapi, and it's still not working. Nothings changed. Can someone help plz
This usually isn't on the normal stardew mobile game so Something had obviously worked but nothing texture/colourwise has worked. Also some ppl after the new config menu thing have a little cog in bottom left. I don't have that for some reason which I'm guessing is needed to change things in game from what I've seen in the yourube vids

I just did that and there isn't another mod folder. All the relevant files are in the stardew - mods folder.
hi so I wanna start a new save file with stardew valley expanded and I want to turn on balanced crafting, would there be an issue if I turned it off later in the playthrough?

Install the file, go to SMAPI installer.
Click on the three dots in the upper right corner -> Set Mods Path -> change the path to:
Android/data/com.zane.stardewvalley/files/Mods
(I've followed these new steps but it won't let me input the set mods path when I type or copy & paste that path it says its invalid)
I followed the guide and re did the zip file & used the suggested zip extractor thing and input the Mods path as suggested but keeps saying invalid

Sorry to be annoying 🙈☹️ so I fixed the path thing & got the mods I want on my config page etc. Do they have to be here or in the downloaded page? This is another thing that confuses me. I wasn't able to fix the path the way it suggested sp I copied the files into the Internal drive -sdv - mods folder , unzipped them. Deleted all duplicates as they wouldn't load the game. Yet its still not working . The command tab works on the top but where the Config cog ?? None of the textures have changed 🙈❤️🩹

yeah I unzipped the 3 files into a folder I created to keep things organized
So I wanted to bring over my pc save to my andriod (only has cjb atm) and every time I go to the main town area it crashes and nothing is there lol.
It's probably because I used SVE on pc but is there anyway to fix this on mobile?
You’d have to clean the save out on PC by removing SVE and playing a day with error handler

There isn't a log for what ur asking. It doesn't exist I've already looked
Github is where I followed the instructions from I'm not sure why or what's not working. Everything is upto date. I deleted all duplicates and unzipped all files etc. The command keyboard is working but the config cog isn't there and don't know why, guessing thats the main thing i need to add the actual mods but it's not working and can't find the files the bot is asking for they dont exist I've tried searching them
So I hate to say look harder, but if SMAPI is starting, then a log must exist
It's actually, legitimately, not possible for the game to not write a log if the console is coming up
I would rather believe you don't have SMAPI running at all than that
Further, some of your mods are AT mods
So their textures would not immediately work
you'd need a paint bucket for some.
(or whatever AT tool it is to alter textures)

They were in deleted the other 2 files and it removed loads off the config page on the smapi app😒🙄🙈 anyways, I've left the original file which is in Internal storage - download - stardewvalley - mods (I put the mods in this folder)
So now smapi looks like this but I still can't find the logs the bot is asking for

I would maybe try hunting around your phone but at present if it's somehow not creating an ErrorLog we can't actually help.

please go into the config and turn the use beach sprites option off and it should stop crashing
if you do have beach sprites, then they weren't loaded properly
Ugh 🙈. Its been driving me mad. The game works and I can see the command keyboard , I've searched the whole fone and done everything else as suggested and jts still not loading the mods 😒🙈❤️🩹

do you have any intention fo making some neat event scenes that are compatible with the magic mod?
The problem is what you're describing is literally the previous person's problem. The keyboard working is baseline with SMAPI Android. Not loading any other mods leads me to believe you have another mods folder somewhere.
right now the events in magic are hardcoded in C#
I removed the other 2 so there is only the 1 mods folder left
I don't know if your folders are hidden or something, but I know you're not in the right area.

try deleting PyTK, then loading your file without touching anything

adjustable hair that isn't just specific seasonal hairstyles
basically what I'm working lets you
talk him into growing his hair out (with progression stages that shows him growing it out) and then you can style it for him through events that you trigger with spacecore's new event on gift system
and you get to have a conversation with him out of a big topic pool while styling said hair

I don't mind 
Remove QuestDelay and try again. That mod is outdated (pre-1.5, possibly pre-1.4)
If it still doesn't work after that, disable all mods but error handler, then see if it happens on load. Don't worry, as long as you don't save, you'll be fine.

one of your mods is preventing the load
The problem is, your modlist doesn't show which. Error Handler is properly taking things out, so it's not the fact you removed lots of Custom NPCs
Did you happen to introduce any new mods recently?

restore all your mods, then remove half and retry
If it works, add half of the disabled ones, then retry again
Continue until you crash.
If you immediately still have problems, halve your modlist

i have a question if anyone can check, i use speremints portraits but it only works for elliott's yandere portrait, the rest of the characters portraits are the same as the game makes them

where ever you have the mods listed? Content Patcher, SVE, SpaceCore, etc. - and ONLY the mods listed in the log itself
that's where you put them
As for the SVE issue you are having, SVE is not normally compatible with Android. There is a community patch done by Atra, but it's not well tested and only on the SVE server
Without that patch, SVE will not work on android. And there is no official patch for it, just the community one.

I finally done it lol there was some red ones that popped up to begin with like loads of writing but I'll try sort that after. It's working I think? Probably a really dumb question but for these textures to work do they have to have the Green X on it to work or take the green X off. I've never understood this system it's the same as allowing cows to get pregnant I've never understood that either with the X system .

All of them and the menu texture ? Everything is ticked yet doesn't look different.
The menu texture's a mobile bug - apparently it has different assets to target on mobile
