i don't know if it's different on mac but f you want to have two saves, one vanilla, one modded, you can open the vanilla game instead of smapi. SMAPI is StardewModdingAPI, and vanilla is simply StardewValley

and then the stack ones afterwards are due to invalid state
the first error breaks stuff, so the next errors appear

i'd probably try getting rid of UI Info Suite to see if it's any better
because it also throws a hissy fit in your log, for whatever reason
if it's not UI Info Suite that breaks it, then my next guess is More Bundles, because it seems UI Info Suite has a problem specifically with the bundles in your log

i think you just need to download save anywhere mod then always save and whenever the game stop, i just restart the save, works for my problem.
Just be careful when using save anywhere (now save anywhere redux) as it might break up npc pathing and such after you load that save and must save properly before npc works properly again

Hello! Okay so I have the mod cottagecore fences, it shows up in my game, the icon everything but when I go to place it it’s normal fences. I have VPR but fences is 100% turned off. Same thing happened with seasonal fences. here’s my log!

Yes! I did it in game and checked the files directly afterwards to make sure.
I took VPR out I believe at one point and it still did it
I get that particular reasoning, but there's not much we can do without being able to read the log
My only potential thought process is to change the folder which has your name in it, which may require some system changes depending on the OS/folder

Hey guys, im playing coop with another person, and they cant seem to be able to interact with the Beatrice NPC
Additionally, during festivals, they are teleported back home and have to walk back to the festival area in the dark

I don't know exactly why, but it does seem like it's related to the special character. They might need to rename the file with the right special character, or just rename the file to not have any special characters
if they rename the file, that means they need to rename file name in json that target that file too, right?
for beatrice, it's not being maintained anymore so it most likely broken. for second problem, i have no idea. maybe share log from you and your friend so someone can look

Both problems could be a beatrice/PyTK thing, but the second issue could be something else
I'm trying to edit a custom npc mod so the warp tiles are compatible with the SVE map, but nothing seems to be working
The npc mod uses TMX for its maps and a json with "add warps" so I've changed those
and also how do the warps read? I understand the xy but what are the first 2 coordinates? ex: 27 8 Forest 7 7
first two coords are the coords on the map you are warping from that the warp is on
middle is the place you're warping to
last two coords are the coords on the place you're warping to that your character will land

I want to warp from a tile in the cindersap forest and have it lead to a new map
so I would change the (x)(y) custom map

if you're going from Cindersap to new map, you'd have to map patch the forest with the warp
and the warp would be something like 27 7 Custom_NewMap 20 7
so on tile 27 7 on the Forest Map you'd be transported to 20 7 on the new map

Yep. It's called "you're clicking the game"
Whenever you load your mod file, you cannot interact with it, or you will cause the loading to hang. This includes alt-tabbing most of the time
So: Click to load your file, then go get a drink of water
Ignore your game for like... a minute or two, up to 10 really but you have such a small modlist I'm willing to guess a minute or two

I read on the beatrice mod that people with a similar problem didnt have tmxl toolkit installed, I installed it and the event problem seems to have gone, for now
But now my coop player cant see Beatrice at all, shes just invisible (before she was there but uninteractable)

Local co-op tends not to work well with mods but if those are the only two errors removing that mod would probably be the answer

I mean, the only advice I can offer without digging into happy birthday's code is to remove one or both mods.

every other dirt area is tillable but not the 5x5's

There does appear to be an incompatibility between Grandpa’s farm and Farmhouse fixes, but the greenhouse thing seems like an error on the side of that mod
The author appears to have made a change on the last update to make “only dirt tillable” during which they could have messed up and blocked too much
It may be worth trying to downgrade it or replacing it with a different greenhouse map (make sure you have nothing inside it while you do)

Custom Farming Redux https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/991 is a mod that is no longer maintained which loads content packs to add custom machines.
It has been replaced by Producer Framework Mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4970 PFM allows players to load content packs to add custom machines and extended existing machines with new or different recipes.

oh it's mainly to say the mods i', trying to work with are mainly KAYA custom mods. the kawaii mod is supposed to help like, load in a skin she has that turns the machines into somehting cute and the kawaii mod was said it's a must have to use

considering the mod uses such an outdated framework, if no one has updated it i would recommend you don't use it

I'm about 20 hours into a playthrough of SVE and a bunch of other mods, and I've noticed that the secret woods are broken. Apparently SVE and Farm Extended both mess with the secret woods, so when I enter it's all bugged out. Is there a known fix for this that won't mess with my save file?

I was thinking maybe I could somehow delete the changes that the Farm Extended mod makes to the secret woods, like the shortcut, but idk how to do that, or if it would even work
i think SVE and Farm extended aren't compitable with each other ? I know SVE has both different farm layouts you can use (grandpa's farm and Immersive Farm), but that's my only guess to that

but deleting the mod is unlikely to ruin your save

For starters, part of the brick pathway is missing near the fountain, and I have no idea if the graveyard is supposed to look the way it does. Hold on. It's not anything that's breaking the game, it just looks annoying to me.

hi! i just closed the game xD. tried it w/o any NPCMapLocations and nothing seemed any different - still very laggy/fps at 1-2 whenever i was in the game trying to move my farmer (higher around 30 for non-moving/menu screens).

usu CP furniture replaces the game's furniture assets so no. but you can have AT, DGA packs for many diff furniture mods

Hello I was trying to install SVE using vortex etc, and it crashes me just after the grandpa cutscene
I have just the mods that were required by sve, and if I disable SVE the game works

technically you could do a filter: saturate(50%); on the main area if its a saturation issue

SM will improve if you have enough RAM to begin with. And resampling only for aesthetic purpose iirc. So your problem is most likely not enough RAM. Try to reduce your mod counts

The correct texture seems to be underneath the vanilla swimsuit so most likely another mod overlays it. Look into mods that edit the farmer sprites after the peach body mod

some can be edited, but there's a chance the save will be corrupt
I just want to see/change the center bundles and mine rewards bc Im not sure if I changed them to remixed when I started oop
bundles are generated when creating a save and stored in the save file; it would be pretty hard to edit that

hello I'm using ridgeside village and expanded and choosed the 4 player map seperated and at the bus stop there should be a warehouse but arriving to the bus station the camera not following the player instead you can go into the warehouse area but my character disappear on the downside of the map

Grandpa’s shed will only be there if you use Grandpa’s Farm/Immersive Farm 2 so since you’re not on either it wont be there
No, Dexkill is correct. For games where Stardew Valley Expanded is installed but either Grandpa's Farm or IFR2 are not used, Grandpa's Shed appears below the bus stop.

some aren't in there tho, as some authors have it in the wrong category. But it's the best one to have an inital look before you hunt via search for others
tbh what i do is type stuff like "top 20 stardew portrait mods"
and check reddit or whatever, sometimes youtube or just other sites
you just get click bait and copied lists doing that tho

Having some issues with CJB walkspeed on my shockbye server. Basically sometimes when a user leaves, when they rejoin their walk speed is super super slow, like slower than default. Once they sleep its back to normal. any clue why this would happen?
The only hint I have is this same thing happend when my friend use to host a multiplayer game and ppl would get kicked; rejoin and slow speed.

hi all - when i run stardew, it says like 'with 240 mods' but when i check vortex, that says i only have like 140 active mods - its like a 100 discrepancy. any idea where this is from and how i can be rid of the extras? i did used to install mods manually, but deleted them all before restarting with vortex
smapi counts each component of a mod separately, just because of how mods work. for example sve has a Json Assets component, Content Patcher component, etc. these all count as one “mod”. you cannot lower the number in smapi without removing some of your mods

Hmm. For some reason, it looks like it's having trouble loading Harmony mods. You also don't have Error Handler installed. Start by reinstalling SMAPI itself. these are the only mods you have that edit the town
earthy doesn't touch the lampposts, i just confirmed with the mod's assets. i dont think simple foliage, better water or elle's town animals do either. so unless there's something else going, im going to say it's sve
plus i think the lamppost lighting up is something you have to set up while you're creating the map, and sve... changes the map
so i would ask in the sve server, and see if it really is something with sve or there's something else going on

If you're using Steam or GOG on Windows, you will need to set your launch options in order for Steam/GOG to automatically launch with SMAPI. The SMAPI installer will tell you what to set as the launch options when it completes (green text). so using fs clothes made the swimsuit work
The only other mod editing that particular tilesheet is Raised Garden Beds
