ok so i had a similar experience (but not from fishpond) but in a way that its NullReference. It happens when something (in your case, fish pond) was not properly set up (or removed) and it can get a little complicated when doing it on multi player (depending on how players do their stuffs esp. if diff. saves and all that). Try removing all fishponds and building them all up again. Make sure to catch / harvest the fish before deleting all fishponds with your fishing rods.
You can remove all fishponds in your farm via the console (or u can let the host do that instead) using the command:
world_clear current fishponds (or 'fishpond') assuming current means youre currently standing in your farm.
format is: world_clear <S:location> <S:entity type>
or for more info on world_clear, u can type help world_clear on the console

Okay so I'm having an issue with my nexus profile, I disabled some mods and it is telling me that they are still enabled when they aren't. I have uninstalled the mods that were supposedly enabled and it still pops up in my game. I install and enable other mods and they don't even show up in the smapii, I looked in the mods folder and those mods aren't even in the folder!! What is happening?!

Vortex sometimes does weird shit like that
hey! me again. i posted about my issues last night, did some troubleshooting, tried some stuff, back with more information. i was playing the game just fine yesterday for several hours and everything was working perfectly fine. no issues, no lag, nothing. then i decided to add a few new mods, namely the canon friendly npc dialogue, npc map locations, experience bars, and i updated my UI info suite mod. i then launched the game and everything was working fine, until i tried to sleep, upon which the game crashed. the SMAPI error log from last night was too large, so i retried it and got a shorter one. (posted below). i also tried running the game without SMAPI enabled, which results in the same crash. i have used the steam file validation and there were no problems. i also have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, same crash issues. however, weirdly enough, the game works perfectly fine, including saving, when i run it on the compatibility beta, the 32 bit one. i have a 64 bit system, but it works on that. not sure exactly whats wrong.

did you try to run a new farm and see if it still crashes?
also, i think theres a more updated version (the redux one) of the no more bowlegs.
I haven’t made a brand new farm, only tried on a few existing ones. Could it be a problem with the save files?
having a brand new issue now, the game won't load, it just hangs while loading up my file
hiiiiiiiiiiii im v new to modding stardew and i'm having trouble turning off the. speaker?????? i load SMAPI like usual through vortex but every time it opens the window there's the windows speaker saying "initializing stardew access" and im not sure where to go to turn it off. any help is appreciated :>
Remove the mod "stardew access"
This is why, btw, I don't recommend downloading mod packs
You have no clue what you downloaded and what it does, and therefore don't have any real way of being able to troubleshoot
it was a dependency for one of the other mods i got, i haven't gotten any modpacks

it's a different mod from flour's

flour uses cccb as a framework
you need cccb in order to use flour's bundle
flour has a cc mod but it requires this one to work 🙂

The mod page has multiple main files and I don't see any difference between them. Maybe I'm being a doofus?

all of them have the main part of the mod with different bundles
just be sure to change the config as box showed in the screenshot
you'll only really need the main CCCB folder. you can delete the others after you install them, if you want
either way, if you change it to atelier in the config, it will use flour's bundles, not any of the other ones

The only json file in the folder is the manifest
the game has to launch with the mod installed for the config to appear

And I did download them from there, I have the sampi downloaded and unzipped and everything. So I can download everything

follow up on this, fixed my issue. not sure exactly how, but i got it. i uninstalled the game and when reinstalling it, i changed the directory to a different harddrive. game works perfectly now.

thats a mod pack, which requires vortex. youll want to try looking at individual mods instead

Ive played stardew for about 30 hours but i want to play around with some mods. Im on a macOS and ive tried to install the ui suite mod on nexus but when i load the program it doesnt work and even when i try other mods like a recolour and it says that it loaded but doesnt affect my game at all.

looks like you havent put your mods in the right place, find this C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods file path and put them there

@ArcaneDescent @JessYoMama You can do it without a mod. Go to %appdata%/StardewValley and open the file called startup_preferences. ctrl + f for "playerLimit" and you'll find something like this: <playerLimit>-1</playerLimit>.
Change the -1 to any number you like...

There isn’t an error code or anything for this, but does anyone know why PPJA Better Artisan Goods Icons would not work in alternative texture kegs, bee houses, and preserves jars? I have a few different craftable mods downloaded, but I am not seeing any compatibility issues. The icons for Jelly, Pickles, Honey, Wine, and Juice are appearing fine in one of my Content Patcher machines, but it doesn’t seem to be carrying over to the AT machine retextures.

hi there! does anyone know how to fully remove a texture mod from sdv?
in this case, i originally had the medieval buildings for sdv but removed them to try out a victorian buildings mod. i didn't end up liking the textures as much so i removed the victorian building mod but half the buildings across the town are still the victorian building texture while some are the medieval buildings texture

Or are you just adding the buildings into the files yourself, IE XMB replacing?

I tried downloading DCBurger's High Res Portrait Mods along with it's requriements of Portraiture and PyTK and put it into the mods folder. But I'm having these red errors pop up in Smapi and I don't know why. I didn't edit any of the files at all.
Although the mod still works when you have multiple mod portraits installed and pressing "P" works to switch a portrait mod.

I also have Leyalluna's portrait mod installed except they didn't create Birdie, Leo, and Snail's portraits, which is why I wanted to use DCBurger's portraits for those characters only. I know there's a 69 res version but I would like to use the high res version if possible.

You need to pick one of pytk and portraiture, right now pytk lite (latest) doesn’t do that anymore p sure
So you have the portraiture version working but the other one doesn’t work, just delete the other one

@inland fossil hi! so regarding your smapi crashing on saving, u might want to re-install the SMAPI. I read a few sites about such since I havent experienced it.
- before installing, delete the startup_preferences that is found in %appdata%/StardewValley. I read that this changes the way your game logs are generated.
- uninstall & install smapi
lmk how it goes. Also, did you try running the game without smapi? like the plain ol vanilla way?

Do you have the mod that makes that TV 1 tile wide? Yeah. I had that glitch with it. Just delete the mod and then spawn in a new TV to replace that one with as it will still be 1 tile wide

the map as minimap or what? easy way to check is by seeing minimap. if the minimap is like this then SVE is loaded properly

the paper looking ones are zipped in a different format, you need to use another app to unzip them ^^

When you uninstall NPC mods, the data for them remains on your save file, but Error Handler removes that data so your game doesn't crash

so ive send my mods over to my friend and just copied them into his vortex mod folder, and everything is broken... the game runs with the mods but the map is broken, not sure how to fix it and ive tried resolving it

i also don't really see what the benefit vortex has over stardrop is since modding is so straightforward

Hi there. When trying to install SMAPI nothing is happening, the window closes immediately. I have in installed already, and I'm trying to update it. I have never had any issues with this before. My stardew is on my D drive so I tried the smapi installer on both and neither worked

I’m not exactly familiar with the challenging CC bundles mod, how did you change the items? Was it via GMCM/config.json? Was it via editing content.json?

Like when someone joins i walk around for a a few moment and the farm is gone. when I also click on the map (M), and it glitches, it meant that my game will crash. pls help

This is likely mismatched npc mods
Or trying to use randomnpcs/littlenpcs in multiplayer
maybe we need log of other people, right atra?

i recently downloaded mods like customize anywhere, get glam, movement speed, wear more rings, stardewhack, hugs ang kisses
and put it in my mod folder
mismatch amount of mod. and also get rid of get glam, use fashion sense instead
so what do i do?
do i like need to download the same amount of mods my friend has?
and just delete glam
for the best results, you should be running the same mods, with the same configs
first of all make sure all of you have the exact same mod. then don't use get glam, use fashion sense instead

those are warp files, not RSV/SVE files
i.e. those are things you put into the warps thing for the warp mod you have
reinstalling SVE/RSV won't do anything
So what do I do? Warp mod wise?
inside those folders would be some json files that you would need to... I believe replace the warps json in your warps mod, might just be add, though
let me recheck the mods I recall that give those...

Ah, no, you have one of the ones that has the multi-folders. You delete whatever one doesn't match your playthrough, and the one that does you replace the files in CJB with the files you have
So if you have RSV + SVE and you have Grandpa's Farm, you'd use that folder, then replace the files in the relevant locations

Weird I'm not using Grandpa's farm though, so I don't know why that popped up there
like I said, you have the multi-folders
so if you're not using Grandpa's Farm, you delete that one
To determine which one you use:
- Do you have SVE
- Do you have RSV
- Do you have IF2R

you use one of em
You have to see inside the folder that matches your playthrough. If you have RSV + SVE + IF2R, for example, see inside of that folder. There should be a warps.json there. You have to move that file into CJB Cheat's own folder, to replace the one in CJB
After that, you can delete all those folders

It uses config.json to load jsonassets into community bundles. So, if I add any number of things from PPJA to the bundles using JA names, there is no issue.
