if you really want easier fishing you can try fishing made easy suite
health bars - I think mini bars still works

When two mods both edit dialogue or images, whichever mod loads last "wins" and is the one you see in the game. start the game through it, easily find the config file of whatever mod im looking for

it should be the same as your smapi path except instead of clicking on smapi you click on the folder called mods

it's a known random issue that smapi failed to use computer audio
it can happen on other OS, but i see mainly on windows (that other possible fix is by installing an app)

If Shockah is online I think I encountered a bug with the season affixes inflation I set it to 400% then everytime I open and close a shop it would increase price a lot

I am unsure what's going on. Pokemania(the mod) changed all the foragable stones in the mines into sort of "Evolution" stones and... I can't donate the fire stone to the meusum.
Like, it's not in the meusum and it took the thunder stone (Earth Crystal) so...
Is there a way to... I dunno... force the meusum to see that I don't have the fire stone in the meusum?

Hi, so I’m trying to get this younger wizard portrait from m.blog.naver.com/mycho621/220739941625?referrerCode=1
But anytime I drop the sprite file into my game it crashes. The original file was named Wizardcharacter.xnb, but smapi doesn’t seem to recognize it. So I changed it to Wizard.xnb, and the game still doesn’t work? Can anyone help?

Did you get a mod that changes his sprite sheet? If you did they probably formatted the sheet wrong

it's from 2018 and if it's loading his character sprite, that means it's overriding the default one. So if Sebastian got different sprites, it will error and make it look like that

just unpacking the xnb in assets won't do anything, and im not even sure if you can use an old sprite and make it still load the new ones from the game
so you can either get the smoking version, or stop using the mod altogether

There are times that smapi loads for a bit then suddenly closes. No error or whatsoever on the logs. Sometimes it is solve by restarting smapi, steam or restarting the pc. Is it normal? (not sure if it is technical or not. correct me if im wrong.)

here some things that happen:
1)first off the game takes an eternity to log in if it does, it is pretty often that it just bugs out and stops working (the image is the proof, am sorry its not english, its just that i am spanish)
2)secondly, when i had the game in spanish, the game just freaks out and the characters started giving dialogues in both languages, interwining them, and not making any sense at all
3)third, the glitches on the video is just some of the many, all over the map in pretty much all the places making it unsufferable to play
4) in my first play through (yeah i did many trying to fix it) all the npcs were too bugged, standing still over a river, standing a ladder over the air, etc

It's sma-pi but not 1.6
The machine never completes growing anything, in multiplayer it throws an error in the console and the graphics are messed up. And also non-host players can't properly use the machine.

It tries to do a dynamic ID thing based on the last used ID but that's handled locally

Creating a new package for Ubuntu 22.04 that uses an obsolete libssl version seems like a very bad idea. Also, messing with versions for systemwide libraries like libssl is a similarly a very bad idea, which may have unpredictable consequences in the future.
So one option is that if you will continue to use Ubuntu 22.04, you should convert into using libssl3 for your apps.
Another option is to run legacy apps inside a VM or container, where you could install an older version of Ubuntu (e.g. 20.04) that has libssl1.1 installed.
These two options seem to be the most viable paths to take in your situation.

Hi! My mods aren't working. Today, I installed numerous mods to have a good laugh with some friends. These mods include 18+ ones with spicy dialogues, the free love mod (which works), and the Leah cat mod (which also works). However, I'm worried because the mods I added don't seem to be functioning. Even though I married three people (Abigail, Harvey, and Alex), I don't get any of the spicy dialogues when I talk to them. If someone asks for my SMAPI log, I don't know how to provide it since I play on a Mac and I'm not an expert. Definitely delete the mod folder called "Dirty Talking Elliott". You have two different versions of that mod installed, and that's the older version

That old version is causing a problem with "event repeater", and since event repeater is required for Xtardew to work, that could fix the issue, maybe?

We can fix it easily, open the file "steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/Mods/[CP] Dirty Talking Elliott/content.json"
Ok, I opened it with Sublime Text
the second to last line of that file is "]". You need to change it to "}]"

Also, the "Dirty Talking Sam" aka "Sam Jackpot" mod hasn't been updated in 6 years. It's just not going to work anymore.
You need to replace the "Leah the cat girl" mod with the equivalent "CP" (content patcher) version
The "The Only One For Me" mod makes you pick between a version for dating sebastian or a version for dating abigail. You cannot have both at once, which is what you currently have installed.
