yes, it is. I was able to grab a screen shot of the last bit in the SMAPI window when it crashed, but this is the log from just now

Yes, that's what the console said. It started spewing commands from it and then died
i don't think it's SF fault. it's just when SF loads things, the game suddenly crash i believe
It seems to be somewhere in the GetNextValidFrame routine
solid foundations is doing other earlier in the log before the crash

im currently playing the 1.5 alpha of smapi for android, everything works except that my mods folder doesn't have errorhandler, can someone send it to me?

There are some instances where you will need to use the compatibility version of the game. Please be aware that SMAPI/game mods are not compatible with this version.
On Steam: In your library, right-click Stardew Valley and select Properties... > Betas > then "compatibility" under the dropdown.
On GOG: From the game's page, click the settings icon > Manage installation > Configure... > then "compatibility" under the Beta channels dropdown.
it's not a conflict, rather balanced valley modifies stuff that fruits and veggies adds, but doesn't have a manifest dependency on fruits and veggies, which can cause that kind of issue (i'm not sure if it's the case here, but it's a possibility)

I thought I'd have to restart after a glitch with Solid Foundations, but sacrificed the mod instead and it seems to be working.
Are you saying I should Order 66 the fruits and veggies mod?
if you want to test it, here's balanced valley's manifest.json file that adds optional dependencies on json assets and fruits and veggies; if you overwrite the manifest.json file in [CP] Balanced Valley with it, it should stop the yellow warnings from appearing if it was the problem. if they still pop up then it's some other issue (it would be good to report the issue to balanced valley in any case)

grandpa's farm is under optional files on SVE
download those mods then unzip them onto Mods folder (you can find it inside your game folder). for SVE, make sure you have all its framework mods (under requirement on SVE description tab)

no one is gonna redistribute mods for you, omba, people already responded to you about this. you haven't been ignored.
If error handler isn't bundled with the alpha SMAPI for android, it means that it isn't compatible and has been excluded from the bundle for a reason
android smapi is barely functional at the moment anyway, very few mods work for it

I installed a bunch of mods yesterday and using starship I made sure none needed to be updated. My two issues are this:
- The screen doesn’t move along as my player moves, I have to load something like the quests tab or whatever to get it to jump.
- I can play the first day but when I go to bed I just get a black screen that I can move my mouse around but nothing else

generally not, as long as you trash any custom items and cancel/finish on-going quests that are from the mod

My SMAPI didn't crash, the file was too big to parse so I tried just copying the first few lines as it said.

looks like a mod adds tips on farming via events Tips On Farming-- but the event is broken

Alamanac adds an event to the Farm to give you the Almanac
At least try temporarily removing some of the mods to see if it fixes the problem

It's because one of the Pokemon mods edits the internal names of items

Hi, Despite having the latest version of the game (3.18.3) and the SMAPI mod I installed, I still get the error in the photo.
As I said, even though both the game and SMAPI are up to date, I cannot solve this error. I would be very happy if someone could help me.

There are some instances where you will need to use the compatibility version of the game. Please be aware that SMAPI/game mods are not compatible with this version.
On Steam: In your library, right-click Stardew Valley and select Properties... > Betas > then "compatibility" under the dropdown.
On GOG: From the game's page, click the settings icon > Manage installation > Configure... > then "compatibility" under the Beta channels dropdown.

hello i am having trouble getting sophias 12 heart event to trigger, i heard you can type "debug ebi 8185300" into the console and it will force trigger the event, but thats for the second part of the event, any one know the command to force trigger the first part?
i'm pretty sure the modupdater bug started for me after i downloaded the latest version of smapi but i could be mistaken
i recommend you install event lookup. it lets you see the requirements for the events, and it will tell you what the event number is so you can use the debug ebi command

yeah i think they must be the 14 heart events, because it doesnt show hers on that page, and it shows them on the other spouses pages, must just be glitched
they're the de facto 14-heart events but they don't actually have friendship level attached to them in the code.
It looks like you need to have seen event 8185301, which is showing up blank in Event Lookup I am guessing b/c event 8185301 is actually attached to a "when" condition, and if the condition isn't true, then for all intents and purposes Event Lookup and the game do not know it exists. (It will exist once the condition becomes true). Is your farmhouse on upgrade #3 yet?
hey I'm having a problem where my textures are being overridden by the vanilla textures and I cant figure out which mod (if its even a mod) is causing this. any help? (this applies to the logs, pieces of wood, and stumps. everything else is fine.)

you can add a . in front of a mod you want to disable before launching the game. you can remove the . when you go back to use your creative farm to activate it again

Something odd is happening. An "Error Item" is appearing in the shop menu every time it is closed and reopened at Joja Mart.
But the SMAPI console isn't reporting an error.

I'm unable to trigger alesia's cutscene, It's the last thing I need to start the enchanted grove quest and don't know what I'm doing wrong. As far as googled results everything I see I should have gotten the cutscene.

just open the social menu, click on her and there should be some sort of pop up of the character's heart events
alessia is a non befriendable npc so idk if they can do that 😶

ok you might be able to see the conditions with event lookup, red. if you download the mod, try typing event_char alessia in the console and that should probably give you a list of her events
if it's the introductory event, it's likely one of the first ones so youd have to type event_id eventidnumber in the console after which should give you the conditions

Without knowing the list of mods you're using, people won't know what might cause an issue. Even if SMAPI doesn't show errors, the actual log contains more info. It's best to always include the SMAPI log with your question.
the latest log. The errors pertain to portrait folders that are empty due to me replacing them with Nyapu's custom portraits. This did not impact my last playthrough (though i didnt play too long on it), however it may have affecting something here, im not sure. Oy, indeed. I would honestly just rebuild the entire mod folder and use the latest versions of all mods. It can take a while but that's the best way to ensure that everything will work as intended.

hello all! i just started modding stardew, but I am getting weird lag and stuttering when the character walks. I already removed some mods but it did not help much. I have SDV expanded, Mobile Phone, Grandpa's farm, Adventurers guild expanded, farmers portraits, and a few other small ones... can anyone help me?

(tbh, it's often the "small mods" I've found that can be surprisingly lag-happy, ie if you're creating and trashing many long lists per tick, you're gonna cause lag even if the mod doesn't do much)
you can turn off the graphical changes
my mod causes unavoidable lag upon opening the inventory if you have too many items lol

Hmm. There's nothing profiler is pointing at. You might need to remove mods until the lag goes away (or inspect the source code of mods you use, I guess)
If they've got a bug report page, you may want to also send your log there with a comment that it was causing you serious lag

Hi again! I downloaded Stardrop (thanks again btw), but I'm having trouble getting it to start up using steam. I tried doin the "FULL_PATH_TO_Stardrop.exe" --start-smapi true %command% but I dont know how to add the link for stardrop from my folders. How do I do this?
I don't think there's any way to get Steam to open Stardrop

just go to the location where you have stardrop
then on the file explorer, there should be a bar on the top
if you click on it, it should show you the full path
i tried add stardropp as non-steam game and it works. but, you still need to click launch smapi on stardrop to launch
just press ctrl c, and it will copy the path

i installed it into my stardewvalley folder though
so mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Stardrop\Stardrop.exe
D:\Stardrop - Windows-10455-1-0-0-beta-38-1683681332\Stardrop this is mine. Is this right?
if it's in that folder
add \Stardrop.exe to the end
to get the actual file path
to the executable

Because you're linking it to Stardrop, not SMAPI

If I did that, would I be able to invite friends on steam?
I'm trying to use steam to open stardew and allowing me to use the mods I want
actually as long as steam runs in background, you can just start stardrop then smapi will detect steam as running then you can invite your friends
i have it set to not directly open smapi bc i switch mod profiles sometimes lol
for me i just make shortcut of stardrop on my desktop. then as steam already runs in background, when i launch the game smapi detects steam

Hi everyone. Thanks for all you do. Does anyone know of any kind of mod that might make my game run more smoothly. I'm only running 156 mods and I have a pretty powerful machine and graphics card so I don't think it's a question of hardware. It skips a bit when doing anything. I'm not getting any errors on loading since I deleted Solid Foundations.
