Depends on if you have SVE or not and if you're also 10 hearting victor or not. If no, Free Love's replacement event works properly on the Saloon event and it'll fix it so no cold shoulder

long story but it replaces that event, but then SVE replaces it again with a variant of the original with Victor in it, if that makes sense

not sure if/how much we can help you with your nsfw mods though
....there's a lot to unpack in that modlist, but in short: Most of the empty folders you have are portrait replacers. For the SVE stuff, you need to replace the stuff in SVE's portrait folders with those. For the rest, it appears a mod did a bad and didn't include itself in a folder, so you need to combine all of those into one folder
Your "furry" ones have a readme at the bottom you'll need to read. Otherwise the "Enti" ones look to be what you need to folder up with the loose content.json and the manifest.json at the bottom there
Other than that, can't really help too much with your errors

hi, i’m having trouble recreating a crash to get an accurate log for it, will my current log give enough information for support?

but if you can explain it we might know what it is
so the game crashes to desktop when i open up my farm in coop, it’s only ever been run in coop. the crash only occurs the first time i try to open it though, after one restart it runs fine, until the next reboot of my pc, except from occasionally booting my coop partner but that could be on their end
that’s fair, if it crashes when i play with them tonight i’ll get a copy and drop it in, i tried just running it in coop by myself but i couldn’t get it to happen again
a handful of my mods need updated but it was an issue before that too
if it works after it's probably not a mod mismatch
so im having an issue on my main stardew farm that couldnt get resolved yesterday. on my main farm whenever i use my axe, it doesnt even have to be hitting anything it doesnt deal any energy damage, however my damage will still go down when i use my pickaxe. this wasnt happening a few days ago until i messed with settings on cjb cheats menu on a different farm.
the things ive tried to fix it:
- revert the settings back to normal
- uninstall cjb cheats
- reinstall cjb cheats
- checked the stability of my files on steam
- reverted my save to a previous backup file
i should note that i also made a fresh farm to see if this was a game issue and it isnt, my axe works fine in dealing energy on other save files, its just having issues on my main file.
if you spawn in a new axe does it still do that
we use the same mod folder anyway bc we only play together

Bit of a very niche issue here. Trying to use the old Split Screen mod to be able to play local co-op with two mice and two keyboards. However, SMAPI just won't load the mod anymore because it reads as obsolete. Is there anyway to force the SMAPI to load the mod? It shouldn't cause any issues since it has a very specific use.

I get the sentiment but the functionality of vanilla Split Screen is not what I'm looking for in this very specific instance.

Want to be able to play local co op with each screen being its own full display on either of my monitors while being able to use keyboard and mouse on both instances since there are mod shortcuts that just can't be used on controller.

Hi Im new here! 2 years ago I downloaded SMAPI and was playing with a handful of mods no problem. I stopped for a long while during school and stuff. Now im trying to play again and it wont load the game at all (getting this message "Oops! SMAPI couldn't load the game executable. The technical details below may have more info."). I feel like its because its outdated, but I cant seem to uninstall SMAPI to install the new verison. Im not great at mod stuff so any help or simple instruction would be great. I can barely find it on my computer at all

The issue I run into there is splitting the mouse and keyboard use. Using programs like MouseMux allows it but clicking on different displays technically changes window focus. Split Screen mod has specific window locking functionality for different inputs. Like I said, it's an incredibly niche issue.
if you do both - latest SDV and SMAPI - the new SMAPI will detect stuff automatically

no idea how the Split Screen mod worked, but keep in mind other mods will probably be broken with it

Unzip is one instruction and is toward the folder you downloaded

Okay. So there are several ways we can go about this. You're several versions behind on RSV, so you could update to fix issues. If you want to remove it, then delete the Ridgeside Folder, and if it crashes, please give us a log from when it crashes.
If we get the log from when it crashes, we'll know what is going wrong and can help fix.

You cannot uninstall without divorcing your RSV spouse or spouses, then.
Your error is trying to pick a pregnancy event with a nonexistent spouse.

hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me with a SMAPI issue? here's a screenshot of the error im getting back, I've rolled my game back to 1.5.4 so I can use a randomizer mod + my SMAPI to 3.11 and I have no idea what any of this means or how to fix it hjdfvhg

Did you turn on the compat branch or did you roll back to 1.5.4 proper?
I am not entirely sure what the compat branch is, I followed a guide that showed me how to get files from Steam's console and replace them with the updated ones
or rather replace my updated ones with the old ones
i was seeing that i was supposed to be using SMAPI 3.9 but I didn't find that on the Nexus page, so I used 3.11 since it said it was compatible with 1.5.4
Probably the replacement thing didn't quite work, assuming installing 3.11 did work properly
Did the installer run and finish with green text, and was the location the correct location?
Steam also has a habit of trying to auto-update from what I understand, so it's possible that the file replacement was overwritten

hey sorry to join the server just to ask a question, but does anyone else have an issue with NPC Map Locations and Grandpa's Farm from SVE displaying incorrectly on the minimap? buildings and character icons are offset a ways while on the farm map and i'm not sure if it's on the former mod's end or the latter

do you have an example image? cos the minimap is not very smart and generally has a weird offset with custom maps

As long as the sound isn't going anywhere, SMAPI will crash.

Check your audio drivers, plug in your TV's sound, etc. But until you get sound working, it won't work.

back again after looking through my stuff, it's showing that I'm playing in 1.5.4 when I'm booting from Steam, and it plays just fine on there! I also tried a different version of SMAPI and it's still giving me the same issue. I'm unsure if the issue is more likely to be with my game files themselves or with just the version of SMAPI i'm using
also i tried to uninstall SMAPI 3.10 and there's just like
a bunch of files in here one of them being a x64 version of the modding API that does nothing

so uninstalled and reinstalled the enhanced relationships mod, and could not reproduce crash or error message after doing exactly what i did before crash and then some, so seems fixed? idk
if happens again i'll just remove that mod, or check the others i downloaded today. no more adding mods for me lol

Believe me, even if I wanted to, two things stop me. #1, the mod has strict permissions and I'd like to not get on the wrong side of that. #2, my Shiko conversion is customized as I gave her a room at the saloon, so I can't send it over.
I would just attempt to make the spouse room work by downloading the optional TMX Shiko Spouse Room on the page (or download the original and copy over the spouse room) and/or leave a comment on the unofficial updates page

You need Portraiture mod and put DCBurger portait (the png files) into portraits folder inside Portraiture

you can try entering harmony_summary in the console, then uploading the log again

I think you just have to wait and not click on anything. SVE is quite big so crash on creation is normal

i've tried going to 1.5.6 rather than 1.5.4, my game was running fine until I installed SMAPI 3.18. Now neither the API nor the base game want to run, and no error logs are popping up in my app data folder-
I've already tried deleting the save preferences in my app data folder and restarting my computer and neither have worked, I'm hesitant to uninstall and reinstall the game as I would have to get the 1.5.6 depots again and just potentially run into the same issue when I try to install SMAPI-

i think android doesn't have error handler, but the bot expects you to because pc has it and it doesn't differentiate between the os

yes, never try to open a modded save in vanilla
they won't break if you open them, the game will crash if you open them vanilla OR if running a diff modgroup the invalid content will be error handler'd out
It's more important not to open a vanilla save in modded, as saving with mods will make the save forever modded.

Android is different from Windows
The android smapi is currently in alpha, and not many mods work. SMAPI for pc is completely stable

SMAPI android's Content Patcher conditional stuff is broken. Until an update is released by Zane, you will be unable to play with Mando on Android.
Also your TMXL version doesn't work on Android either meaning the maps are dead

Unfortunately, my answer is "see previous governor command". Your mods likely won't work in several instances, and if you're trying to load a former modded file, without "Error Handler" or the SMAPI Android equivalent from back when it won't work.

if you play in English, it's probably best to remove those translations

I hope you remember me, there was a problem with connecting via steam.I found how to solve it, maybe it will help someone.This may happen due to startup parameters.I run the game directly and it works fine, if you run it through steam, then it does not connect to online services.

youre free to close out of that console now, its job is done. according to the guide im looking at, it works with steam automatically on mac, you can just press play from within steam. if you do that, does a black window similar to that one pop up?

you delete the old normal boots and spawn new ones. FS doesn't force the boots red and in fact can override the color

Your problem is you happen to have a lot of portrait replacers you don't know how to use, you have PyTK lite Twice which snowballs, you have a bunch of BFAV mods without actually getting the unofficial versions you need, there are several double loads of maps and portraits
Like.... you want these mods, you're going to be taking a long, long time to fix everything.

My honest answer is figure out how to read a SMAPI log. I know that's not what you want to hear, but the problem is it would take hours to fix your log.
To start, Leylluna's portraits and Romanceable Robin are conflicting, as are them and Romanceable Rasmodius, and SVE, etc.
You need to delete your C_PyTK folder and your BFAV folder, and get the unofficial updates of BFAV and Child2NPC
And those are the easiest ones I see, just cherry picking out errors
There's still a lot more which I cannot personally troubleshoot without a long session of checking out each of your folders, and bluntly, even if I was someone who did video stuff, it is way too late in the day for me to engage my brain that hard XD It's reading and then sleep for me
The other way to do it is to wipe your mod folder, then add mods at a time.

Getting someone else's mod folder is acceptable only in one circumstance, and that's multiplayer with others.
And that's only because otherwise mod matching might be hell.
Even then, it's best to have the other players download and/or endorse the mods.

Note for a pin: if you run into error 0x80010135: path too long while extracting files try to extract on your desktop
if you know your way around an image editor (gimp, photoshop, photopea, etc), you can open another one of the pngs, then place the smaller png on top. hide the layer with the first png you opened, and save. if need be, rename the resulting png so it matches how it's named in the mod
