Looking at the video it seems there is a map layering issue but also it seems some of your mods can be updated. I would update those mods and see if that fixes. If it doesn’t I would go through and take mods out one by one until you figure out which one is causing the issue and make a bug report on that mod’s page.
There's no reason why Shiko's spouse room or festival locations should have any effect on this. Plus they're both up to date. The mod hasn't been updated since 2019. 🙈 The manifests are just wrong.

Your log doesn't indicate you opened the quest window (FTM stuff indicates the save loaded after the Swim Mod errors, which for the record, reinstall Swim mod)
Also you have the wrong NPC Adventures to use most of your packs, you need the stable version for most of them
what is that location? Also can you point out what's flickering? I don't quite see it
it's Maive's house, and the items on the two little end tables disappear as the farmer moves

Most of your not loading mods are XNB files and should not be used. I'll recheck the assets one, but that looks to be a replacer or another xnb one

it'll have XNB files in it. you'll see the files be called "Abigail.xnb" or something similar

hello! I have a problem with my installed mods. in short, I'm experiencing this problem for a few months already, and I tried to solve this problem by my own by reinstalling all of my mods, but, nothing helped. I don't really know how to describe this problem. it's like, when mods load correctly, but not custom items (crops, dishes, seeds and other things)

Hi! Having a small issue here... I had to move stardew to my other drive because my main one was saturated. Reinstalled smapi, move all my mods folder, everything seems right in the folders. But I can't launch the game, the smapi window wont even open. Anything I might be missing? Thanks!

your log indicates when you extracted it to your mods folder, it only loaded the Content Patcher portion

So, in your mods folder is just the [CP] Stardew Valley Expanded folder
so I move all the folders from the expanded file into the mods folder?

Okay, so basically, it takes an extra 5 years to fully load, but it workes. Im used to just click on play and it launches, but its good to know theres another place. It fixed my problem, thank you very much! 🙂

If you're using Steam or GOG on Windows, you will need to set your launch options in order for Steam/GOG to automatically launch with SMAPI. you're inside looking at the JA and stuff. You need to unzip the entire thing. I can't tell if that's unzipped or not from where you area at present

You can make it as small as you need if you don't want to show the desktop entirely

I don't know how that happened but you should probably reinstall it by redownloading SVE from Nexus, unzipping it, and moving the unzipped folder into your mods folder
if it still bugs after that, I'm going to start suspecting an overzealous antivirus killing off the content and manifest jsons

I’ve started the download but may take a while do when it’s done I’ll add it to the mod folder and try again
(Make sure that after downloading you delete the old one in your mod folder and unzip the new one - I know I'm harping on it a little but you'd be surprised how often people just put the zipped folder in their mod folder)

So, the multiplayer server my friends and I are doing is having an issue. But the issue isn't server wide. It's just one person with this issue. https://smapi.io/log/884a4ff3707043889c34f13599e77154?Mods=SMAPI and it causes them to not be able to connect.
We had them reinstall the modpack and it worked fine. but then today it started to have this issue again. And it's just the one person, with this issue. Everyone else is fine.

I need to look at the log but that's happened once before to a friend of mine connecting. Sometimes it just won't let you connect

If anyone else knows how to parse this, be my guest. This error is telling me that somehow the save is corrupt, but that isn't possible if everyone else is in the save. Further, if it worked fine on a modpack reinstall, it can't be a corrupt farmhand thing, yeah?

because there are two places the game uses xml
one is the save
the other is multiplayer sync
sending them the save is useless, only the host deals with the save file

I'm not really very experienced in modding and just downloaded SDVE mod and I made a test save to figure it out but when I first launched the mod the window displayed some of the following stuff and some text like 'deprecated code' and 'save sterilizer' really confused me/concerned me. should I be, bc I installed everything as according to the tutorials and when I tested the save everything seemed alright

SMAPI 3.18.0 raised deprecation levels to the final stage, meaning SMAPI will now show yellow warning dialogues for mods with deprecated code. For the user, this just means that the mods have old code and will break in SMAPI 4.0 if they are not updated - it is not anything to worry about at this time. (For mod authors, it's a not-nice warning to update your code already!

its the only mod dll doing it and i have like 300 other mods working fine

Hello I just checked Nexus Mods and realized that there is an update for SMAPI. I installed it and am just wondering if I now need to delete anything from my current computer files.
Just install normally, SMAPI cleans up after itself
Ok, perfect. Just got the SMAPI worked out but I also have UI Info Suite installed. Whenever I launch Stardew Valley and the SMAPI opens it says that the UI Info Suite is no longer compatible. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled twice but it still won't work.

Looks like mods in an invalid state, where they have no manifest but somehow got past SMAPI's validation anyway. I'd need a copy of the affected mods to know more, but seems it's fixed now so I guess let me know if you see anyone else with that issue.
If it shows up again, I guess I'll try to extract a copy of their mods first
I figured out what was causing it after some testing on my own.
I had modified the smapi-internal config.json so that a mod would load last to apply my changes. However, this was apparently something smapi did not like

I tried that, but the error just continued. I keep trying to shuffle mods about - which will probably end with reinstalling everying
if removing margo doesn't fix it, try removing json assets tempoarily
if removing both doesn't fix it i have no idea what's wrong, but removing both will cause a number of other severe issues
so don't do that permanently

Well, i develop but for separate reasons. A hobby is a hobby, so thats its own ordeal, but for work, its different. Im not sure what hes going by for the hourly rate, but maybe 1k towards the development might lock in or get him to dedicate time(Like time blocks for dedicated project work?) to the project to work on it? I dont know what or how his work flow is.

whats a good farm map for unlimited players?
asking in here because i’d rather avoid the legacy thingy i love my mods too much! stardew was opening fine last night i go to open it this morning and it will show as open in steam and task manager and is using enough resources for me to assume it’s actually running but no tab at the bottom (i’ve tried reinstalling, deleting all my mods, deleting smapi, removing my saves, restarting my pc, that “show open windows” thingy when u right click the task bar, and i’m about five seconds from completely wiping my pc stardew is the only game that’s doing it)

Not currently. Due to how items work currently, they need to be added to the game in a specific way to be visible to other mods. If the paint brush doesn't appear in CJB Item Spawner, then it wasn't added in that way. (It'll be much easier to add items that are visible to other mods in the upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6 though.)
You can buy it from Robin's shop in the meantime though, and give yourself money for it if needed using CJB Cheats Menu.
Cause the error again and then before you get the red text a lot of times get the log out.

That seems like it wouldn't be the case though pillow because it was running fine previously for them.
Generally my internal rule is if they previously were able to play modded on the same machine,it isn't time for legacy.

When you say "crash", do you mean a "crash to desktop" (the app suddenly closes) or a white screen crash (the app hangs)?

This is something that can happen if a spring or default schedule contains a point that that is RailRoad, Community Center, or Joja
if the relevant location isn't open, the game will try to jump to the spring/default schedule again
but since it was already checking spring/default, that's infinite recursion
Oh! So ironically, it's the fact that it's very early in Beth's file is why it was going wrong

Well THAT is interesting..... So, re-enabling Save Anywhere bumped me to 2PM of the next day since the sleeping save worked. So it has me placed where I had saved on the 16th and at the same time, but I'm now on the 17th. I have NO idea if this information is helpful or not, but I thought it was worth mentioning. 🙂

Save anywhere's buggy as hell usually, mainly due to how the game saves. I'm guessing they were Solid Foundations Greenhouses, which complicates things more

It's less "Solid Foundations bad", more "Solid Foundations is a bit tetchy and so Save Anywhere would probably interact with it poorly"

I've been messing around with an existing save. The boat was repaired before i started. Now the boat is unrepaired and i cannot use the items to repair it. I managed to get it to the point that it allows me to give it the items but the next day after the cut scene the boat is still unrepaired. i'm assuming there's a flag or quest that needs to be changed for it to go back?
Why not just... use the original existing save?
Like, tell me you didn't mess around with a save without making a backup, and if you did, tell me you did it with SMAPI active so it has backups

I looked over the mods I have for schedules, the only one I can see that might be relevant is immersive shane. It looked fine, though.
My only guess could be conflicting schedules are trying to mess with shane?

IC-Shane still works wonderfully and your other (non-SVE) schedule edit is Lemur's ranch expansion which is also very, very good

hello!! im very new to mods and everything and ive been trying to get mods on my mac and i downloaded smapi (i think i did that part right, i could be completely wrong about that though) but every time my game opens it says "loaded 0 mods" and i thought i had them in the right folder and im not sure what im doing wrong

Loaded 0 mods shouldn't ever happen, even after a fresh install
So we need the log for the filepath, but also reinstall SMAPI
3 mods would be normal. 0 mods indicates something happened to SMAPI's base 3 mods

They did
They targeted the greenhouse to their SF buildings instead
So they'll need to duplicate the code targeting the SF buildings and re-target it back at the OG greenhouse

The only other way is to duplicate the original mod, but change the manifest name to something else

Unable to initialize companion Lavril, because this NPC cannot be found in the game. Are you trying to add a custom NPC as a companion? Check the mod which adds this NPC into the game. Don't report this as a bug to NPC Adventures unless it's a vanilla game NPC.

So this is a normal bug with NPC Adventures (technically more with the content pack implementation for it by the author of the pack, but there's no way around it at present) and honestly I don't know if it's fixed in alpha, though I don't think it is
The short version is if an NPC is not initialized yet, or never will be again in Morris's case post CC, then you will get that error because it can't find the character
This happens for Lavril (before you meet her via events, no dispo, so can't be found, so NPC Adventure pack can't be hooked in), Morris (kick him out of town in SVE and he no longer literally exists anywhere, so the game constantly throws errors - I had to hack him out of my SVE NPC Adventures myself to get rid of the red), Lance (until you meet him in the Caldera, you'll always get the log complaining), etc.
While I doubt it's possible, it would be nice if the error could be relegated to trace or if there'd be an option to disable the NPC Adventure pack until Event id seen or something
But again, not in 0.17.5 (change-locked) and IDK about alpha 1.0

ever since I downloaded mods my worlds doubled, it doesnt matter which one I log into, the ones with the same sames are the same world, once I made the grave mistake of deleting the extra world but lost all my progress....isnt there a way to fix this?
