Anyone ever heard of farmhands not seeing end of day profit screen? It's just black, they hear the money ticking noise but nothing pops up and they don't have to press ok.
Everything still works, just not that.
are the farmhands' logs clear? that usually means they got an error or a thousand of those

i have a question
so i want to play modded with my friends, but they have alot less mods than i do. i didnt mind so i deleted every mod that they didnt have, and we can play now
but if i wanted to play on my own with more mods, is there a way to do that while also still being able t o play with my friends?

i am having a problem i am hoping to get help with... i have the craftable incubator mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/9038?tab=files&file_id=42701) which works fine, however i also have a mod that changes the look of the incubator (gwen's medieval craftables). i'm not getting any smapi errors, but for some reason, the incubator looks like vanilla and not gwen's version when i craft it
the craftable incubator mod does not have picture files in it, so i know that's not the problem
Also available as an Alternative Textures pack
Would try running it through AT and then using the tool and see if that fixes it
It´s a slight workaround but worth a shot
just following up if anyone has any idea on how to clean up the mods smapi says i have (it’s about 80~ actual, both players are also on a highend pc so loads are concerning if i don’t actually have 203 mods)
- generally some mods bundle multiple mods into one "mod" and one download—for example I think SVE has about 5 submods in it
- removing and re-adding shouldn't affect anything, the only thing SMAPI cares about is what's installed now
there can be exceptions to 2 if you actually messed up something with a mod removal
however, most mods can be uninstalled fairly easily

it wasn’t anything too major like game breaking or save corrupting, just things i don’t need anymore or don’t want to use anymore, all my stuff is updated and even with a total fresh reinstall i had very long load times

Definitely missing a texture file if it loaded _0 but not _1. That or it's a common reported bug
i did but it still happened. through some further testing, it seems like SpriteMaster was causing this error, as it kept happening for every texture pack i had until i uninstalled SpriteMaster
should i report this to spritemaster or alternative textures? that's the big question
....that might honestly make sense. I'd make sure the coders agree with the following assessment, but SpriteMaster loads things when they're needed, so if what you're saying is true, it's likely saying "eh we don't need _1 yet" but then the game goes "uh, what? Yes we frickin' do need it"
(My guess is Alternative Textures, but I'll wait for someone else to verify)

Just zip your entire mods folder and send it to them.

update: i was using the beta version so i tried the "last stable" one and i'm not getting the error anymore

hey guys. my game usually takes less than 5 minutes to go from loading a save to actually playing the save. today it has taken more than 15 before i give up. checked my log and it stopped doing things about 2 minutes into me clicking into the save so it wasn't loading for those whole 15+ minutes. i have spritemaster, don't have pytk, and haven't had this problem before. any help?

Does anyone know how I can get passed my SAAT issue?
I'm downloading Stardew Expanded, but SAAT keeps crashing the game before launching (I have an audio issue which is causing it but that's another problem I can't fix). If SAAT isn't loaded in, Expanded doesn't work, but if SAAT is loaded in, the whole game doesn't work.

I need help. "Child Age Up" mod is crashing my game.
I have Lumestria's Toddler's installed so that may be what the parser is talking about in the error? bit once my girl hit a certain age, Child Age Up (and I think child to NPC?) kicked in.. Worked for a few in game days. Suddenly, as soon as I try to change her appearance, game constantly won't stop crashing.

you dont have the required mod for the Lumisteria Child NPC
remove pytk is my biggest reccomendation pytk will fuck up ur gameplay

all i know is that there is no videos or anything on this topic so i might be the only one who ran into this and its scary
it's a problem with child age up, certain config options make it fail. you can delete the config.json file to start with default options, which probably work together. if you want to change the options i think you'll just have to test which combinations work (or read the content.json of the mod)
Correct. I don't have the baby sitter mod. So it simply doesn't even load Lumestira's Child to NPC. It ignores it completely.
I took out PYTK......game still crashed once it hit like 8:50 pm
i'd guess Lumisteria's mod would be incompatible with child age up anyway
because don't they do the same thing? i.e. make the children into proper npcs
Deleted Child age up....going to see what happens....it never crashes early in the day. Only once it gets late.

well, those values are specific to the crop growth and mean according to the wiki The number of days in each visual step of growth. The final stage will be harvestable after the specified number of days.
So what is the number 1 1 1 3 4 for? can you please explain?🙏

it's multiple numbers: 1, 1, 1, 3, and 4. the first "1" means at a guess that the crop stays in the "just planted" stage for one day for example
and the second 1 refers to the second stage of growth and so on

There are some instances where you will need to use the compatibility version of the game. Please be aware that SMAPI/game mods are not compatible with this version.
On Steam: In your library, right-click Stardew Valley and select Properties... > Betas > then "compatibility" under the dropdown.
On GOG: From the game's page, click the settings icon > Manage installation > Configure... > then "compatibility" under the Beta channels dropdown.

ZaneYork, the developer of Android SMAPI, has said he will work on it when he has time. how old is your computer? if it's really old, then there's not much you can do, except try to go back to a previous game version. if it's not, id suggest reinstalling the game to see if the compatibility mode gets turned off

While I'm no expert with Stardrop, it looks like it's trying to get a singular download link from that page and can't
so either you have to change how it's recognizing it (i.e. make it see collection) or Stardrop doesn't support it

Started SVE with about 120-130 or so mods and i notice that whenever i walk theres a line of distortion across my entire screen that kind of cuts and shifts stuff on that screen. Not sure if i described it well, but i do know that it fixes with vsync, though i have no clue why. Am i doomed to vsync or is there anything i can do?
Ok so I'm using a older version of stardew valley on my phone so I can use mods but when I use npc map location mod it messes up the toggle map.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I tried sending my friend a folder of all of my mods on discord but it wouldnt send for some reason. I'm trying to figure out a way i can send all of my mods to my friend so he can download them without having to download them one by one because that would take forever

my game keeps crashing whenever i try removing zenox's pride banners off my walls so i removed the mod itself and now the game crashes alltogether when i load in

the litterbox is a temporary file storage. assuming your mod folder is less than 1 GB zipped up, you can toss your friend your mod folder that way
However. Again, it should only be shared with someone on the same file
Otherwise you're doing mod piracy and we're gonna side-eye you hard

fair. only other mod I think spawns them (that I know of) is walk to the desert

It didn't crash, just skipped the event.
Also can I just remove Pytk? Pretty sure some other stuff needs that.
You can test by removing PyTK and seeing what complains (don't even need to load into save to check, just quit out once you get to the title screen)

Could I ask for an assist? I'm trying to set up SVE. I followed the directions for Wiki. Went into Steam client, clicked Properties, then Local Files, then Browse. But StardewValley.exe isn't in the mod Folder, Stardew Valley folder, or Windows (C:) folder. And yet I can launch Stardew Valley with SMAPI but not one other mod. I've done something incorrectly but not sure what. My Stardew Valley folder contains a file StardewModdingAPI.exe.config but that's not the file I need for the next step. I followed the troubleshooting guide but I must be misunderstanding something there. Any suggestions?

Sorry for delay here. You need Romanceable Rasmodius's SVE pack, not the regular pack
Because both are trying to load the Wizard House, it forces the vanilla asset and is likely being affected that way
SVE does not use a different farm map out of the box. If you choose to download Grandpa's Farm or Immersive Farm 2 Remastered, it will change your farm and potentially put some items out of bounds unless you are not on the standard farm - if you aren't, then there will be no change as you can't use the new maps
you can mitigate it somewhat by putting all of your buildings and such in one area and swapping farms, but you can't avoid all the changes

if you're using standard, then unless you download one of the two maps (they are optional downloads) you'll be fine
if you use one of the optional downloads your map will change and you'll want to put everything inside a building and put all the buildings next to each other

If finding a log is too confusing and you're able to load your save, you can install the In-Game SMAPI Log Uploader to get the log without having to search through the files. I don't know what's happening here but it doesn't even show you getting to the main screen.
i do use vortex if thats what might be causing the not loaded file problem

I tried going by that guide the very first time and whenever I would click the Api on my desktop it would open and close super quick. I found a video on youtube today and did everything but this time it didn't say to move the API from files to desktop so, I opened stardew like normal and figured it was working cause a log came up and listed it was running my mods but then I played the game and none of them were there ..
but the issue is not a mod manager bug im pretty sure its one of the mods
also before the new attempt i deleted everything and reinstalled
The problem, alaysia, is we can't help you if your log isn't getting the necessary data we need to help you
It'd be like trying to put a screw in something without a screw driver
or a power drill or w/e
We can't tell what's editing your farmhouse and causing issues unless we have a log where what's editing it is recorded
At best, we'd have guesstimates, but you'd have an easier time doing a mod binary search than asking us if you can't generate a log with the data we need
First of all, by the API you mean StardewModdingAPI.exe? Second if yes, why did you move that file to desktop? You should make a shortcut from it instead or add it as non-steam game if you wanna make separate file to launch vanilla and modded
i understand that but i used the log generated from vortex and and it sent me right to the smapi log parser idk whats not showing up

If you boot the game to title screen, then check your SMAPI console, you'll see what I mean. There should be a lot more, at the very least json assets stuff.
And that's just to title screen

I have moved all my mods from the vortex folder to the mods folder in the steam stardew valley folder now whenever i try to open my dave file it takes me through the opening screen where it shows the “developed by” screen

It's one of those three, assuming you did not install any XNB mods - if you did, you need to verify your game files)
Oh, before I forget, please reinstall SMAPI as well
the original 3 mods aren't there - or at least Error Handler isn't
I've been seeing a big increase of people on 18.2 without error handler
Thankfully in this case it's because they were on Vortex but no longer are
but yeah. You're not wrong. It's really weird that people are being on that version without Error Handler
Alright, I do have to sleep soon, but alaysia, if all of the above doesn't work, please remove Custom Furniture and try loading. You're on a PyTK version of CF, and that's honestly the last thing that could be affecting the interior of your farmhouse, especially since you have the non-PyTK version of TMXL

i added tractor mod, the medival tractor/stable mod, wildflower grass. then i wanted to get rid of the weird bed glitch that came with multiple spouses so i got rid of that mod then thats when the snow screen started happening. i tried removing the mods i added then adding back the mods i removed but i still got the snow screen.
but thats when i was using vortex i switched back to using the mods folder due to the log issue

Maybe you can find the quest ID info and either re-add it thru SMAPI or edit your save file

I F'ed up. I'm on year 4. Saw wizard and Linus on the cliff on Spirits eve. tried to use debug command to warp me up there. Got warped to wizard tower. Game froze. Tried using debg leaveevent, and debug endevent. Neither worked. Did Debug Festival fall27. It worked.....I warped home using the staff......but it somehow reset every event/letter/cut scene as though I'd never done it before. I still have all my stats, friendships, achievements.....except the boat on ginger island wasn't done. (I usually cheat and debug warptocharacter leo.) ....fixed the boat hoping that would fix the issue, but now when I try to enter willy's shop at ANY time, it says "gone fishing" frick.. I can warp to ginger island, but......the problem is now I have a turtle stuck on the stairs blocking north and no parrot on the stand to pay gold walnuts too to move it off. Also my journal is filled with basic quests.
UPDATE: Apparently using "Endevent" or "Leaveevent" Debug command Ends clears all records of events seen, dialogue questions answered, and mail received (including hidden mail flags.) I had no idea this would cause such issues though.....I have to warp into Willy's house and can't even go into the back room with the boat in it. It's locked. I need to use CJB cheats menu to clear quests I've already cleared. I have no idea how to fix this.

No no.....I do have it.....but I just fricked everything up. TwT I can't access it.
I would also recommend the NoClip mod.. much easier to reach out-of-reach npcs that way rather than warping IMO
