yeah Rustic Country is pretty limited with their configs. You might have to manually remove that part of the code

hi, i want to download mods again. but on yt when i was watching a tutorial on how to delete my mods it told me to delete my mods folder. now i wanna play with mod again can i just make a folder called mods so it works, or is it more complicated than that?

Hello, I have got a problem with modded Stardew, so it worked normaly, then after I came back to play more it started "not responding" and dosent load game. Is it a problem with mods orr ??

Your error is literally outputting "no audio hardware". That error is textbook case audio problem.
So, we can verify that your sound is working first, then figure out why SDV isn't recognizing it

If it could have any ties to my problem, I changed steam account, then started Vanila stardew by mistake it couldnt start (I may have made mistake by setting launch options) then I tried to launch Api and now we are here

What this says, basically, is the game signs you in to Galaxy (the SDV servers, in this case). It then opens your window on... based on the coordinates, your left screen?
And then Split Screen Manager comes in and does the basically last thing before it freezes.

There's little to none knowledge about multiplayer mod on mobile here so best case scenario you ask the mod author

First of all, try to find duplicated spacecore mod folder and delete one of em (it's in the error). Second, install Json Asset mod
SpaceCore because you have multiple copies of this mod installed. To fix this, delete these folders and reinstall the mod: Mods\SpaceCore, Mods\SpaceCore 1.8.3-1348-1-8-3-1648625025(1)\SpaceCore.

I'm getting a lot of errors saying Vortex Folder is Empty for the mods I want.
Do you launch the smapi through vortex? If yes, do you enable em (such as wildflour mods)?

Oh so you don't launch smapi through vortex afterall. So when you launch smapi through steam, smapi will read general Mods folder, while vortex has its own way to load mod into smapi

That's why using vortex isn't recommended as it has its own way to load mod into smapi and kinda hard to troubleshoot as well as sometimes being buggy

You wanna keep track all mods installed before redoing mod installation? Try launch the game through vortex with all mods enabled, get the log link and save it, reinstall smapi (you missed the error handler that comes with smapi installation), and last install all mods manually

You need to change the folder access to everyone
Right click on the folder space core is in and click properties, go to the security tab, edit, there should be a box that says full control, check it next to every username

I use sublime text editor, but a lot of people use notepad++
I personally think sublime looks more aesthetic and less clunky
you could also just edit it with notepad (your built in text editor) if you don't want to download anything

If you install generic mod config you can change the settings for most mods without having to manually edit the config.JSON
I'm having issues regarding parsing locations for some of my Ridgeside characters, namely Maive, Alaia, Louie. Here's the Smapi log. I have re-installed all of ridgeside AND Content Patcher and am still experiencing this on two PCs (doing multiplayer, but shows up when going solo too)

tried to make a map patch for Alec's house in the SVR3 forest. i did it in Tiled. pretty sure it loaded b/c I got messages about the warp I must've done wrong.. but the house is not there
it supposed to be where my farmer is standing pretty much

hey guys! hoping someone here can help me. Bit of a backstory: I had SDV on my previous computer, but that died so i built a new one. Installed steam, smapi, mods etc. Everytime i try to play, the game freezes and an unresponsive error comes up, with the options to wait for the program to respond or close. I've tried uninstalling/ reinstalling smapi, SDV, deleting and reinstalling mods. I initally had 255 mods and ive managed to reduce it down to 90 or so. My save files were backed up to the cloud so i still have those. Tried to load old saves, no luck. Tried to start a new game- no luck. Just freezes each time. I havent been able to play the game for 4 or so months and its a MASSIVE bummer. Ive checked my smapi log each time and theres been no errors. Based on the suggestion of another player, ive started to go through my mods folder and try to test each mod out individually to see what might be causing the issue. So far ive been able to load smapi, SDVE and its dependencies with no issues. Ive just noticed now though that the game seems to freeze when i try to create a new game with Ridgeside Village installed. I removed RSV and left the dependancies and that worked fine, so its something specifically to do with RSV. Any ideas? Ive looked on nexus and i havent found anyone else with the same issue! Very bizarre.

Honestly, might be because it's late, but I have no clue either. Someone else might know, but otherwise I'd suggest doing a mod binary search - remove half of your mods, then see if the error occurs. If yes, keep removing. If no, remove other half

it's telling me you have duplicate. If you can't see them, then removing everything will at least kill where-ever the duplicates are
So that SVE can load.

In addition, most of your mods have numbers, meaning it's a high probability you mis-installed
So the simplest way of fixing it is toss the mod folder, get the three main SMAPI mods back via a reinstall, then unzip all folders into your mod folder.

I found 2 people dealing sort of what im dealing with but didn't see anyone solving the issue
I recommend getting Stardrop its a nexus mod that tells you what mods need to be updated and all you have to do is install your updated version of mod on nexus and upload it on stardrop and from there you just have to click yes replace file or yes update
But with SVE i think its different...

Hey, first time on this discord.
I've been setting up and testing a VERY large modlist for the past few days and everything works fine singe player. However we finally went to play with my partner today and her game fully freezes when she reaches character creation. We uninstalled a few mods including 'Into the Game (Save Loaded Notifier)' which was instead causing the game to completely skip the character creation for her. Giving her a blank, unnamed character. I can make that work with a save editor and such but it's not an ideal experience.
Here's both of our log files (where farmhand freezes on character creation), any help would be greatly appreciated. [I know there are 3 mod updates, but I cannot see how any of them are causing this issue]

Hi there. Total newbie here. I was being helped earlier by a user but couldn't get to the bottom of it. TL:DR, a friend helped install some basic mods onto my windows 10 PC last year. I went back onto Nexus Mods last night and downloaded Vortex thinking it was just like a torrent client for mods. I installed a bunch of new mods and none of them are loading even if I start in Vortex (I'm starting in Steam usually) and it's just a mess. I'm not married to the original mods I had installed. Am I able to delete every mod in my Mod folder and start again? Would that work without me having to change any of the pathway folder stuff...just empty the mod folder totally, uninstall Vortex and start from the ground up? I have this PC I bought for gaming but I'm a Mac User primarily and the whole "One wrong move ruins everything" thing is not vibing. Happy to provide a Smapi Log. Thank you â¤ď¸

hey everyone just came back from a long hiatus just updated the smapi and its not showing up as smapi rather the vanilla UI i have allot of mods to update but i heard its easier through the launcher then manual download not entirely sure though

Updating through mod manager still update mod one by one unless you have premium account on nexus so you can use bulk download button. It's still better to update and install mod manually as you need to delete old mod version then install newer versuion (not overwrite)

Nothing is wrong tho on your log. Just an empty folder named "asset" in your Mods folder and safe to delete

hey, i'm still pretty new to modding so i'm not sure if i've just done something wrong during download, but for whatever reason after year 1 forage has stopped spawning in my game all together. i've deleted and redownloaded Farm Type Manager like it suggested but the issue is still there and i'm not quite sure what else to try

Hi, could someone maybe help me? I'm using "Lumisteria More Flowery Grass - Eemie Palette" for more grass, but this mod doesn't have a retexture for winter. I like the winter one in this mod "Flowergrass and Snowfields", but even when I disable the folders of spring, summer and fall with a . Lumisterias grass in spring still looks different.
Is there any way of just using the winter retexture of a mod that has all 4 seasons?

I've got a question on how to work/change code when it comes to scaling.
I'm wanting to play with this mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/12641 Monster Invasion, but when it comes to how it calculates the scaling of monsters in relation to your combat level it does it by multiplying by a certain amount.
My issue with this is that if your combat level is still at 0 it won't activate since it's not possible to multiply by 0.
What would I have to change/replace in this code/text for it to do combat level +2?

What problem are you having with it?
- Immersive Farm 2 Remastered 1.14.17 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedCP).

Okay, itâs still missing the content.JSON. So delete the whole ftm folder, redownload it, and put it back in your mod folder. But make sure youâre deleting the whole thing, not replacing files.

You have three mods that modify the greenhouse: grandpaâs farm, wrenâs expanded greenhouse, and lnhâs leisure greenhouse. Theyâre not compatible so you have to pick one
hi, so i have the free love mod (multiple spouses), and also two mods that make the children look like the spouse (the farmer's children +babies take after spouse), but neither kids i have so far resemble their parents, they have the default hairs

Huh. Well try deleting lnh greenhouse and see what happens. Have you maybe updated SVE? Maybe thereâs a version of grandpaâs farm that doesnât modify the greenhouse so itâs compatible?

I would try updating the various mods that need updated and installing the dependencies that youâre missing. I know those arenât necessarily related to the mod youâre having a problem with but itâll definitively rule out those as the problem

Then I recommend deleting the Emily custom dialogue mod. Itâs not going to load in anyways because itâs not a smapi mod but xnb mods can harm your game

One other question; did you have the children before you installed the mods that make the kids look like you?
Itâs a dependency for the Romancable rasmodius mod. If you donât want SVE then delete the rasmodius mod. It wonât load in anyways so itâs just taking up storage
