Hi so I just got Stardew on my desktop and I figured why not download some mods but the problem is that the interior I downloaded (Industrial Furniture, Interior and Kitchen, Seasonal Garden House ver 2) is overlayed by base game stuff and idk how to fix it :(((

Ok. I would have expected that they changed that area too to fit the other parts of the house in regards to flooring and walls. But it doesn't seem like it when checking Tiled. 
They did it for the bedroom but not for the "kitchenarea".

I use it and haven't run into problems? I thiiink you might not be able to dye your clothes but the clothing catalogue works for me as well as changing my farmer's appearance (hair, skin color) with the mirror. I double checked and I think I'm running the original not an unofficial update
Hello, i downloaded the Zuzu town mod but for some reason i cant use the bus to go to the dessert anymore. Am i just dumb or did something go wrong while downloading the mods?

Hello I was trying to figure out what mod it was that had a tooltip for bundle items? UI infor suite 2 doesn't seem to have it but I could have sworn it was the one I was thinking about.
What kind of tooltip? 
One to show if an item belongs to a bundle?
The blinking thing at the right side when hovering over an item for a bundle? That's a vanilla feature.

More like the mod you linked but I did forget about that thing in the inventory screen that really should be all I needed but it would say artisan goods or enchanters bundle or construction bundle. Suppose it's not that important if I can just look at the bundles from my inventory lol

Currently I just have everything enabled.
My main hope was that after I figured it out it'd be easier to just make different mod folders since the way I was doing it was too fiddly for me.
Looks like it's doing everything normally.
stardrop just uses one folder (and sub-folders if u like when u install them manually)
and then you set the different mod groups with the profiles in the top left

According to them, it’s a bug in MacOS Ventura not setting the quarantine flag properly for actions originating in bash scripts. The relevant part of the OS being triggered is the "System Integrity Protection", which is documented here:

Click the info icon, then click the file path displayed in the alert. This will take you to the folder with the SMAPI launcher, and you should be able to launch the game from there. This may not enable Steam connection, and it make make the game much more unstable.

I think top one is normal, next is SMAPI, next is SMAPI, next is normal

On Mac the installer replaces the game executable with a script that launches SMAPI

You can actually just read the script by opening the right Unix executable file in a text editor like TextEdit

I have less experience with GOG on Mac, but it should work similarly, if the installer had green text it should have found the game properly

System: GOG MacOS Ventura
Issue: Installation script runs just fine, finished with green text, but the user launching from GOG and the executable directly (the one that I checked launches SMAPI for me) hits the above error where SMAPI can't find the game
Guess as to problem: some kind of issue in the launch script that is weird for GOG???

i think format version 1.3 is like.... ancient so we can try updating the file to see if it fixes anything 
so you would change the Format field from 1.3 to 1.28.0 and then for all of the Action fields change it from Load to EditImage

Can you create an empty folder in your game folder named Stardew Valley.exe? It'll still fail, but that should change the error message.
Can you open a terminal, run this command, and post a screenshot of what it shows?

It seems like something is wrong with the bundled version of .NET. Can you try this?
- uninstall the game;
- completely delete that game folder (if it's not deleted automatically);
- reinstall the game;
- launch the game and make sure it gets to the title screen fine;
- install SMAPI;
- see if the error still happens.
i try to reinstall game 3-4 times 😦 maybe this is because GOG native mac version?
That should be fine; the issue is with the bundled .NET assemblies, which shouldn't be different between GOG and Steam.
.NET should be delivered with the system or should I install it?
It's included in the game files (it's mscorlib.dll and most of the other files in the game folder).

If a full reinstall doesn't work, not sure what else we can try unfortunately. The error happens when SMAPI tries to load the game assembly, before it even does anything with it.

Seems it shows that message after launching the game exactly 8 times. It'll show a different message the 9th and 10th time, then show the version number (until the 15th time).

(Tip for mod authors: don't depend on default load order. If your mod really needs to load after another mod, then it needs a dependency. Otherwise it'll fail due to changes like that, mod folder naming, etc.)

You can't delete a loaded C# mod, but you can delete a content pack (or a C# mod that failed to load). I wouldn't recommend deleting content packs mid-session though.

if you run the installer it’ll automatically clean up after itself and the previous install
I recently downloaded East Scarpe, some NPCs under that page and deep woods. Now when I play multiplayer, my friend joins and experiences super lag when picking up harvested goods and opening chests even though the first day we installed and played everything was smooth. Anyone have any similar issues?

we have both checked our connections and there has been no change nor reported issues.
Try sending log from both of you and your friend (you already sent yours apparently)
we have the exact same log. pytk may be the issue. Trying to launch with that deactivated and the coinsiding mods

Log isn'r only for looking for mismatch mod, but also looking for some error that might occur during lag spike. If no error shown by both of you log after that happen, it is connection issue like kuro said
I've no experience with mp but as you said it worked perfectly fine before I would wait half an hour or so and try again. Or did you add East Scarp etc later on to the save and that was the point where the issue started? 
im stuck in no clip mode. i had hit x by accident, which tuned it on, then somehow moved a chest one tile up and when i went to turn no clip off, i could still go out of bound
@summer swan we added East Scarp and it was working smoothly on our first session a few days ago. issues started last night. Works fine on single player it seems

Ok, I am having a weird problem...
Whenever I go to buy an animal at Marnie's, I go to pick the building for its home and the screen scroll-jumps to the NW corner of my farm. I can't move back to where the coops/barns are.. any idea what this is ??

I do use joy cons yes. They've worked all along so far. I switch btwn them and mouse (laptop trackpad). Neither works rn to move screen to buildings

I did! I had flower valley and someone told me that it was causing a visual issue with the museum expansion, and I have a cutscene there so I removed flower valley so the cutscene wouldn't bug, I thought that was gonna fix the issue with the museum but I just created more lol

You probably have long loading times due to mod count? Can you quit to title (if restarting game is too long) and load the game without controller and use the keyboard till you've the animals?

OK so there's probably an additional issue going on. Most people don't notice dialogue issues as quickly bc they often don't throw errors

Hii, I need some help with a mod 😭 I'm pretty sure it's a very simple mod but I have no idea how it works ;-; Basically I want to make my own portraits for the characters of the vanilla game, expanded and ridgeside village, just personal use for now.
I know nothing about modding so I searched for mods that would make it easier and I found one called "HD portraits template" and its just what i needed, but I have no idea about the whole process of portrait making ;-; If anyone can tell me or link me to a good tutorial I would really appreciate it 🥲
Like- i don't understand how the mod works at all, where am I supposed to put the portraits once done? Sorry if it's dumb I'm v new to this portrait making process 😭

Anyone around? Need help with the Immersive Sprinkler mod
Tryin to pick up the small sprinkler, says the default key is E to pick it up but it's just opening my menu screen
have you tried changing the key on the mod menu?
Where do i go to do that?
go to options and scroll allll the way down to "mod options"
then search for the sprinkler mod and check if you can change the hotkey
If you can't change the key there: Go to title screen and bottom left.

How can ı fix this
in order to fix this you'll need to extract the file first. Once you select Extract all you'll be prompted to select the path - you can browse for a path that is convenient to you - once the extracted folder opens you can proceed with installing SMAPI

everything else was either CP or portraiter
fun thing is that the wizard sprite isnt what broke
Portraiture also relies on PYTK which is also not recommended anymore.

i'm also running into this issue. I've removed PYTK and fully updated SMAPI but idk how to fix this. I think there might be a conflict between Voicemeeter and the game directly.
but idk if it's mod related and i should just do another clean install of the game

i will say SDV is really weird about changing audio mid game as well
so I'm not surprised that it wouldn't like this app you use

its odd that its not sorted alphabetically
voicemeeter is a digital audio interface. a lot of people who stream use this to remap certain sources (mostly to avoid copyright claims on vods). if voicemeeter is not enabled then none of my audio comes through

and there's a floating assets folder in there

You can also delete the Mac folder, unless you are playing on a Mac
open up the assets folder and see what is is, it might belong to ridgeside or downtown
The easy way, deleylte downtown zuzu and rsv then reinstall them
And also assets folder in Mods folder

Stardrop is easy-to-use mod manager. You can drag the zip file you download into it and it automatically install the mod to the respective folder (or you can use Nexus API to be able to use vortex download button)
someone on tiktok said a kid told them they were born in "the 1900's (nineteen hundreds)
i might look into it idk - just seems silly when i can just copy it into the folder. however i will say it can get kind of hairy sometimes
