Just tried it out in single player. Seems like it works. But in 2 player local coop it reverts back to vanilla. Any ideas how to make this functional?
i dont know the cause of your error, but as a general recommendation, you can remove profiler from your mods as that can cause a bit of lag if you leave it running for too long ^^

Ahhh, I saw that it was on there -- but didn't read the text beside it saying it's a no go. So not much can be done at the moment. Are there any mods that do work with coop that add minecarts? Using Ridgeside and East Scarp with the wife...takes forever to get there

hello, I downloaded mods and well now I have a question. The normal keys no longer open up what they used to, for example pressing E to open up the menu or M for map. I need to reset these keys because without being able to open up the menu, i can't even exist the game without using task manager. how can i do that?

Hi! I've been playing on a multiplayer save with my 6 friends and we needed more content so I added the SVE mod and the immersive farm mod. But our farm was a beach farm so I had to go change it into a default farm. When I opened the world and the immersive farm was set all the old buildings were in the walls and some of the debris were unbreakable.
Is there a way to fix everything without reverting it all back to the normal beach farm?

Reset Terrain Features (https://smapi.io/mods/#Reset_Terrain_Features) is a mod that lets you reset, clear, or generate everything that spawns on a map using an in-game menu. That's especially useful when changing maps mid-save, as the debris will otherwise use the old layout (causing things like trees in the water or bushes blocking exits).
That mod is for bushes and such. For building, you need to go to robin and use move

I'm trying to figure out why my game is lagging and uninstalling mods I had installed. I'm not the most savvy when it comes to that, so I'm not sure if I'm doing/done it right. Had downloaded the Stardew Valley Expanded mod when I got my pc copy and downloaded SMAPI and Nexus' Vortex mod at the time. How do I know when they are uninstalled? I thought thney were when I deleted everything from the mods folder but SMAPI atill loads up every time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Stardew but it still loads up. Anyone able to help me make sure they're uninstalled then reinstalled right?

hi! i've been having issues dealing w/ the bug where your kid's name overlaps with an npc's and renaming your kid through the save file doesn't work. my kid shared an name with an npc from sve (which i only downloaded earlier today) and so i decided to just remove sve since it's not something i really need but even after removing it, it's affecting my saves (unable to save at night, just a black screen). if anybody has an advice i would really appreciate it and thank you in advance !!

Unfortunately my advice is that I haven’t seen anyone fix this problem successfully, it’s kind of a tricky save editing problem and maybe even broken beyond that although I think removing SVE definitely helps. A log will definitely help in identifying the problem and help us give you suggestions on what to try.
So in my game some modded items do not have a texture and some just show nothing. And leo is sometimes like a blank white sheet or so. -This is modded btw- what can I do to fix this?

If you read the small print below the header of the download window, it says: "This mod requires one or more additional files in order to work properly."
So it puts all the listed potential reqs, even optional files and ones from other conflicting versions, in the same ⚠️ DL prompt list, which can be confusing

Generic Mod Config Menu (or GMCM https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5098) adds the option to edit some, but not all, mod configs from either the title screen or the options page in a save. It also has a special screen to edit keybinds for all mods with GMCM integration.
The presence of the gear it adds to the title screen is not a method for checking whether mods are installed, only whether GMCM is installed.

the farmhouse issue is that both rosier colores glasses and overgrown fairy buildings edit the buildings. so its possible you're seeing one over the other

omg, im gonna have to type it again
basically bestbuy fucked up and all my mods got deleted when adding a new drive, i had to redownload them and im getting some really weird errors. Nothing game breaking but annoying and confusing.
among these are lines in yellow text, most of which i learned were dependencies i could download from other mods to get more recipes part of the mod i already had. cool. but some of them are really weird.
there are 24 custom villagers removed to prevent a crash, none of which i recognize. i dont play with sve or ridgeside or anything like that
the more concerning things are some modded forage is not spawning due to FTM errors, and about 5 modded trees in my greenhouse are missing. i dont know what mods they're from, but i really want them back. lastly, two modded farm types (not used in this save but on others) could not be added.
What's the issue here? Can someone help me??

heres's what I would try to get the trees back:
- use lookup anything on the their poor sad remains
- cheat in tree saplings with CJB item spawner
- cheat regrow with CJB cheats instant grow key
(this is without any knowledge as to why they disappeared or even any guesses)

For your modded forage, it seems like that's something for the mod author to fix. I'm not too sure on what to do there
before even loading the save today, i do have to mention i removed pytk latest update because of the crashing and absurd loading times. I loaded the save without pytk (save ran fine except for aforementioned errors) then noticed the trees missing and the error in smapi. then i downloaded an older version of pytk that works better and loaded my save. exact same issues.

if they are truly gone gone out of the save, no trace remaining, we can't get them back for you, that information is lost
you can try going backwards in time with old saves

I don't know why your trees are vanishing and I haven't seen anyone else with this issue

the closest I've seen is json shuffle but a) that's largely fixed rn and b) it would make them look funny, not vanish
it's possible you accidentally removed the mod that adds those trees and something helpfully cleaned them up

you can then upload the log to share the info this dumps out

you can install item spawner and see if the saplings are still around, and cjb cheats should be able to grow JA trees I think
JA only does that when the data for the tree is gone

Black Bean, Garbanzo & Soybean Juices renamed to Aquafabas. from release notes makes me strongly suspect you've updated raffadax from an older to a newer version, since I saw a black bean juice getting removed in the JA IDs

it seems 99% of it has to do with raffadax
so i'd like to use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/10831 with the seasonal cute character mod, but the wedding sprites for Abby in SCC override the sprites for the spanish regalia mod. I'm assuming the only way to get these two to work together is to edit the sprite sheet for SCC until compatibility is added by the mod author. so how should I go about editing the sprite sheet, i've never messed with them before? or is there some other way I can get them to work together?
if scc has their wedding sprites separate, just replace them
making sure that the names remain the same
unfortunately all the scc sprites are on the same sheet
then you'd have to open an image editor and layer that sprite on top of scc's ones

I know BFAV doesn't have a lot of support at this point since the author's not present, but does anybody by chance know what the different #s mean in the Data field of the farm-animals.json file? I may have found a pattern that triggers the glitch where they turn into vanilla animals when they grow up. Specifically I think it may be triggered on any baby BFAV animals on the day when a different animal type becomes a full adult. I'd like to test this theory, and it would be helpful if I knew what the growth cycles of each animal were.

If you can't run sdv even before smapi installed, you need to run sdv in legacy

Idk enough about graphic card compatibility for smapi to run. But if vanilla sdv can't run in normal state, you need to be in legacy mode (the steps are stated above) and need more steps to run mod in legacy mode

Hello, I need some help for Stardew Valley. Is there any way to max out Fish Ponds capacity, skipping the quests by using Console Commands, Mods or whatever? I had to remove 3 of my maxed out Ponds in order to fix a bug caused by a mod. Now I rebuilt the Ponds using Better Crafting Buildings Mod and using the Fishing Made Easy Suite to trigger Pond Quests everyday, but oddly that doesnt seem to work for every Pond :/

Well, I had an SMAPI Error when putting fishes in new ponds. To fix it I had to remove all and rebuild them, now I just need a "Cheat" to max out the capacity again, like it was before

I had an Error with something like "Incorrect Fish Pond Qualities Data - Will Be Reset" (yellow text) in Smapi when adding any quality Fish to a clear Pond
For context, I installed MARGO Mod for Fish Ponds to preserve Fish Quality (and use it also for Roe quality)
When I added any Fish to a pond after that error, the game crashed
So I had to remove all Ponds for it to work without errors, without crashing
I unzipped my mod and I have two different versions of it now, do I get rid of the zipped version?

hello i recently updated over 100 mods and everything was working fine in the first in game day morning but my cellar disappeared after 7pm. Robin doesn't have a function to put it back. I think it's related to either Industrial Kitchen Interior or Asters Bathroom Extention. But I wanted to ask here before i back up and check without them.

well I'm not sure if they're talking about the resampling or what, I wouldn't expect sm to need to resample a high res portrait anyway, but they said smapi doesn't throw errors so it's probably not causing your red text

they have tool recolors, but didnt even patch in the tools. Slime hutch recolor, no code for it at all

My favorite “goof” is that the original peachy objects didn’t recolor the iridium crab so I can spot it easily and avoid it like the plague instead of being given a jump scare

I guess I will have to wait to update to 1.5 on mobile myself. Since at minimum I use CJB Item spawner and cheats menu. To fix screwups I stupidly make and for quality of life stuff respectively.

Hey so I am playing SVE and I have all the required mods and nothing else extra. I have been playing on a save and im in fall of year 1 but now when I try to load my save the whole game crashes

hm I think its working. it took a LOT longer than usual to load though, I went from like a 2 second load to a whole minute
it was doing the whole not responding thing earlier though so i thought it was crashing
first of a month always takes longer to load
Looking like its Boarding House' FTM. removed it and not getting the error now (also, its got a section trying to spawn a Grub)
me and a friend made a co op farm together, but suddenly the game freezes and crashes for me and my screen says that SMAPI doesnt work, then i get an option to either close the program or wait for it. have tried to close it and open the game again but it still crashes

Hi everyone, I apologize if this is a bit of a tough problem but I'm a little.....lost. I have a lot of mods installed and I noticed that for some reason, Leah and Sam have some of their gift tastes changed? Leah now hates driftwood and sam hates joja cola. I don't have any mods installed (that i know of) that would change their gift tastes like this, has anyone had similar problems, or would know of the offending mod?

ZaneYork, the developer of Android SMAPI, has said he will work on it when he has time. When I have it installed my game starts loading fine, gets to the birds flying across the screen and fps drops to where the game is unplayable. Without smapi installed, game works fine
