I solved my dilemma ... I have Joja Cola restock and those drinks are disabled with that mod added :D. I removed it and the warnings went away. hope the few people I have seen with the same issue I had sees this.

My aurora vineyard obelisk and totem isn’t working, and my farmhouse has voids inside of it.. can someone take a look at my log and tell me the issue? I don’t have red texts to indicate any obvious errors
I fixed a majority of associated issues and have tried (multiple times) to update the mods it says to, I updated SMAPI. The CCCB invalid had been there, but mod worked this morning. I mean.. nothing has changed since this morning when I played last. Also tried verifying game files

I use JCR and its been going around for a while. you can edit the Joja Cola Maker PFM rules Fizzy Drinks if you want a break fix. but it was intended to break. you can remove or ignore it

to see if she was the issue. still looped. Hadn't run the game since I added her back though
shiko will be permanently on your save file. there is a guide to complete uninstall shiko

you can try a bit of troubleshooting by making a new save. see if its a problem with your save file.

Hey, I've got a bug currently in a modded playthrough I'm doing, notable mods are:
- Stardew Valley Expanded
- Ridgeside Village
- Walk of Life skill overhaul mod
Issue is that I recently started getting a 3rd bar when I go into combat areas (Probably for a special attack or something) And now, whenever I kill something, I get a sound effect and walk faster after every kill, and the speed quickly gets way out of hand, making me basically uncontrollable.

i wont recommend save editing to fix it, as its gonna be a nightmare
but you can check on smapi backups and load your recently back up save and copy it on your saves folder
see if rolling back solves the issue

Removing advanced melee framework and all mods that used/add special skills fixed it. all effects from WoL and rings now applied on combat. (though i lost my Ragnarok. had to CJB cheats to rebuild it blegh)

Is it at all possible to use SMAPI alongside Steam's Remote Play Together feature? Like, is there a way to somehow bypass the console being the priority window for RPT and have it recognize Stardew itself as the window to use?

I was wondering if anyone had issues with the newest boarding house update.. since I installed it there have been no monsters spawning in the cave and no nuts appearing in the valley. BFAV stands for Better Farm Animal Variety, a mod by Paritee which lets you add new breeds of animals to live in coops and barns. Not something related to your problem, brooke, but the log indicates you have Free Love and Multiple Spouses - the former completely replaces the latter, and unless I'm missing something all functionality of Multiple Spouses is available in FL (increasing children amounts can be done via the config dot json as of the latest update)
Otherwise, basically what Elizabeth said. Hopefully the earlier version isn't broken on Mac, but not sure what's going on there

We’re playing on the same computer. I married a non-vanilla spouse (wizard, from SVE) but I didn’t download any mods specifically intending to modify the spouse patio
I’m not sure how to find out what mod zzzzz_spouse_patio_spring_outdoorsTileSheet is impacted by or comes from, but if there are instructions to do so I’d be down to try and track it down
(Also, oddly, it’s summer in my game despite the name of that key)
Sounds like possibly SVE dying in splitscreen—a lot of mods have various splitscreen issues
Aw 😦 it worked so solidly for 2+ years in game! I’ll try divorcing the wizard, should be able to get there since the crash is so intermittent

nah it's just resetting/restoring the base game files in case something was lost. It doesn't touch the mods or the mods' edits.

Pirated versions often break, alas, and no matter what country you are from, I do not think you are likely to find someone who can help you - since the error we are seeing is probably related to that and we have no experience bug fixing it (and I'm not sure it's possiblem).
yeah i thought u meant the issue was that the minimap was showing farmspace even though you have the tiny farm mod installed, not that ur farm was vewy tiny
I was initially confused why I had such little space when the minimap clearly showed it was quite big - and then I remember I had the tiny farm mod and it dawned on me lol

good thing I spotted it before I did something crazy
i mean i coulda told u if id known the problem was that it was tiny

Figured it out... was "Gus' Recipe Book" mod, looks like they didn't have the recipe Triple Shot Espresso recipe name in correctly. Documenting just in case anyone else runs into this 👀

the thing with that is that you say that now because it just so happens you went to a shop on one of those days and it was closed, but after you get the mod, you'll go to the shop on a day that's closed and regret your life decisions

my game keeps crashing when I load a new day. It's Saturday Summer 27, y1. I was able to remove enough instances of the error loop, for the parser to be able to process it

You can keep them in inventory they just can't be placed

AHHH that explains it. I've noticed strange behavior in the calendar when it shows NPC birthdays, as of late... sometimes it will indicate when there is more than one birthday, or show just one birthday... and the UI info suite icon at top right has been a bit glitchy as well. I might as well just remove the statue of generosity completely. yes statue of generosity is a mod, you can buy it from Krobus

I looked at the posts on MGR Nexus and no one has posted about encountering this particular issue. I'm going to copy the savefile into another folder, and test saving with both statues in chest, then test each statue individually
MGR actually makes a new Gil, the original Gil still exists in the game

first time I've encountered this particular issue, I posted on the mod Nexus so they can fix it. I felt like i was stuck in the Groundhog Day movie for a minute there. It took me a bit to realize I was replaying the same day - I put my farmer in bed and closed the game, for 2-3 IRL days now. I figured it out this evening when I went to load the game and re-read the same mail

Well, I found out what was causing the title screen loop if anyone else has the issue. It only happens after I tried the SaveAnywhere mod, so in short, that mod was corrupting my save file. Now I gotta roll it back and lose another 4 hours of farm work, but i'm glad that I know the issue at the very least!

Hello! Im a fairly new modder in general, and I've been trying to figure out the exact cause of an issue I'm having with my pet skins {it might effect other animals too but I just havent found out}. Is this the right place to ask about it?

OKay Im trying to use the elle re-skin mods paired with the adopt n skin mod. The mod successfully changes the colors of my pets but it makes the multiple dogs and cats the same color. I think the issue is probably how Ive got the files placed in my folders, but whenever I move them around I'll wind up with just basic skins again. Heres some screenshots of how Ive got the atm. I have tried following along to some youtube tutorials, but it didnt resolve my issue.
I feel like its something pretty simple I must be missing

Hmm I added the alternative textures mod, but Im still getting duplicated skins. When I change them in game, it also changes both sets to the same instead of the different palletes I picked out for 1st 2nd AND 3rd animals..and in the alternative textures menu it has all of the dogs and cats checked anyways. Unless it wants me to uncheck them all?

hey all, I'm getting back into playing SDV for the first time since before the latest content update came out, so it's been a hot minute and I've forgotten everything. I am trying to reinstall a few basic QOL mods that I like, but I'm having issues with installing SMAPI with Moddrop.

The magnetism buff from the Tractor Mod seems to continue to be applied even when I am not using the tractor and after I've slept multiple days after last having used the tractor. In Skull Caverns, I have a ridiculous magnetism pull even though I'm only wearing 2 iridium bands (like, pulling items from all the way across a floor). I tried turning the magnetism down to 0 using Generic Mod Config Menu and this still happened. I occasionally turn on Harvest with Scythe in CJB Cheats, but never while using the tractor, and it's off in Skull Cavern. Any idea what would be causing this? I have no other mods that would affect my magnetism level.

the save file has a magneticRadius parameter for the player, maybe it got messed up somehow. i'd check it and if it has a ridiculous value edit it to a smaller value (although i'm not sure what it normally should have)
Ah, yep. It seems to have been set to 384, which is the radius used by the tractor mod. Will have to do some digging to find out what the default is supposed to be. Thanks so much for your help!

Jk, was looking at the wrong save file, but yes, the magnetic radius got changed. To quadruple the normal amount, it seems

did you update smapi yet? it's probably needed. might want to verify the game files as well to force the game to update if steam hasn't already updated it

Can’t figure out why my farmers bathhroom is void and why my aurora vineyard mod isn’t working

Yea. With smapi you just download the mod and reinstall the rest you will have to remove the old files and replace them with the new files
hullo friends, so I've been trying to open and convert an xnb file into a png by following the website steps from steam, and yes i have downloaded everything to the core, but then i think maybe its because im using a mac but the exe just wont open?
you probably need to load a save so we'll see what mods are patching the farmhouse (i assume the bathroom is in the farmhouse). also more details on how the aurora vineyard mod isn't working would be good
you can use https://github.com/Pathoschild/StardewXnbHack, just put the modded file into the Content folder and it'll be unpacked as well
i think i should also add that i've tried to download the terraria one and the exe also isnt working'letting me extract it

yep, the only "hairstyles" it unpacked are the vanilla base game one and one mod

The obelisk turns into a regular mountain obelisk and the totem don’t work at all and nope the bathroom has always been void unfortunately
Also what’s the risk of changing the sprites xbn files if there will no longer be any major updates for vanilla SDV? Or is the updates not the issue replacing the files is just a danger in itself?
looks like the obelisk issue has been happening for a while and there doesn't seem to be a fix
not really any risk in that, as long as the file is up to date it should be fine (but still it would be better to make it a content patcher pack using Load action, it's essentially the same as replacing the file manually, but it shows on the log and also is easier to revert and redo if needed)

XNB mods often break the game and are not recommended. You know where your mods folder is? There should be a "content" folder in that same folder
all XNB files are names after files in the content folder, so you gotta figure out where that file is and match it

I know there are dupe items but I usually correct that, i always forget to do it after I update mods.
Hold onto the SMAPI-crash.txt file (put it in another folder). Fix the dupe items and run the game again to see if the same thing happens.

you need a newer version of childtonpc, that’ll solve a couple of your problems, then you have xnb files which are not mods, they modified the actual file in the contents folder, so u have to remove those and replace them there, then remove the smapi installer folder from mods, once u run it that’s it
there’s a mod missing, atracore, download it
you also need a newer version of move faster and purchasable recipes
all my other mods are running but i still don't see my portraits for stardew and ridgeside
i also tried going into my game and pressing P to change the portrait but it only says vanilla

If you expand 'more options' under https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Player_Guide/Troubleshooting#Reset_your_content_files, there's steps to reset specific files without losing your other customizations.

Well I can tell you that Ridgeside and SVE don't conflict with each other so it can't be that
now, about the log, let's see....
nothing looks off right now outside of Cute Valley throwing a few errors and UI Info Suite 2 needing its update (potentially its unofficial update) just from the log itself, as it's saying everything loads correctly. Update the mods first, then if you're still crashing I'd ask someone who deals with compatible mods, as I'd guess there's a compatibility issue somewhere that isn't RSV + SVE

Got it, if ErrorLogs isn't there you'll definitely need to run SMAPI at least once
the issue is that it won't run at all. i've completely uninstalled & reinstalled everything several times & nothing happens whether i go through vortex, smapi or steam
i'm going to reinstall stardew valley itself i think & see if that makes a difference
vortex could possibly be the problem seeing as it's notoriously awful... possibly i could go through the hassle of doing it all manually

is anyone else having problems with content patcher 1.28? i tried to update mine to this and then it wouldn't load at all. Restored the older version 1.24 that i had been using and everything went back to normal
smapi log said that content patcher couldnt load, and of course all the mods that needed it couldnt load. problem fixed by reverting but i was wondering what caused the issue

Yeah that looks like the most likely culprit from the log due to unofficial update stuff
Dialogue expansion and Mod Update Menu wouldn't touch assets, Juliet and Jesse/Free Love both wouldn't affect it, and Custom NPC mod probably wouldn't affect it.
Also, just as a general compatibility tip, use Custom Spouse Patios Redux, not Custom Spouse Patios
...and Free Love replaces Multiple Spouses, so you can delete the latter

That cant be the reason I enterred the CC and it crashed the game, but ill fix them AGAIN, as for some reason they arent staying fixed
20 min through gameplay. I got rid of the mod cute valley and happy birthday because apperantly it looks like happy birthday wasn't even triggered in the game
so it probably wasn't updated correctly and maybe cute valley is clashing with medival building

a log might be helpful but if you're using the non-seasonal version you shouldn't need to copy files anywhere. It looks like the code is part of the mod, so you would just need to drop the entire folder in your Mods folder.

oh ok, so I think you might've misread 🙈 If you want to use the seasonal version then you do need to be using the Seasonal Cute mod ("This mod won't work in your game by itself, it requires Seasonal Outfits.")
you just drag and drop the images into their relevant Seasonal Cute Abigail folders. Assuming they've been named correctly it should simply overwrite the Abigail portraits and sprites and show up in the game.

I am able to mod my game. It's just whenever I download mods that are required for other larger mods such as stardew valley expanded, or ridgeside village the game crashes upon trying to load in
and since they are component mods there shouldnt be anything that would conflict with it.
