Wait a sec—in the game, is the slime hutch retextured
Because I see that there's one failed Medieval patch
But also one that's working
I want to retexture it. The retexture isn't working.
When you look at the slime hutch in the game, it's not retextured?
It is not.
Because I'm seeing Content Patcher edited Buildings/Slime Hutch (for the 'Medieval_buildings' content pack).
Everything else is working perfectly, besides that.
do you happen to know if there is a mod that does something similar? i just want the cabin to be cube/shed or anything similar - i dont want it to act like the house

i think you can potentially edit it to make it work yourself, but that requires some know how

you could always use a deluxe barn with no animals instead
barns are cheaper to build than sheds too
she wants cabins to function as sheds i think

and yes! i am using lots of mods that make it aesthetic and i want more variety to my storage than just the sheds

i don't know if this goes here but im trying to combine this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4912 with this mod: https://blog.naver.com/sxdcdc/222796955126 and i dont know if it works for the crops themselves but the preview image in the inventory doesn't apply to most of them. like, tulip, fairy rose, summer spangle, etc just dont work at all and blue jazz works but the top is still the same
in theory, it should be working since i just cropped the new one and added it to the "object" folder and removed the previous one

Hello! I got Custom Critters so I could have Eemie's Bees. However, it's... not spawning as many bees as I thought! Like, max one per beehouse, and sometimes not even that.
The Nexus page for Eemie's Bees mentions you can decrease the chance of the bees spawning if there's too many (the default is 0.9, which is 90%).
But... how could I make it more bees, beyond just the obvious of going from 0.9 to 1?
I assume "chance" can't go above 1 (100%)

You are missing parts of rsv, reinstall it
SVE has antisocial duplicates of some of their npcs (for events I think), it might fix itself eventually?
I dont use sve myself but there may be some fixes in the sve discord

Not the same. You have a folder inside titled "mods" you should remove it, along with the smapi installer since you don't need it anymore. Get Npc exclusion and an updated version of Ui2 here;

Looks like you have a "Portraits" folder, that's either a high res portrait or an xnb.

if you try the Floral Megamix - you would delete Farmer to Florist and use Floral Megamix instead
well i have a long stardew game i'm year 23 , day 24 of fall is my longest game

i know it is shocking but when i first started the game i was like llet me get things done and just kept on going and than i added mods which gave me more game play which i never wanted the game to end 🙂

this particular error is because of NPC scheduling broken. could be a broken NPC
she has SVE in her mod list. I think she can play through it without messing up her game file

we need to isolate which NPC is making the broken schedule
i cant give the blame to SVE since they have fixed it long time ago
I posted the link, the person who made boarding house did not change the number in the file so smapi didn't see it needs to be updated

i've managed to get portraits working for every char except the wizard :(
i've manually created a facesheet in my portraits folder with the same expressions as the sve one, but it's not picking that one
If your portrait mod doesn't have all the faces, then it just isn't going to cover him

CF occasionally dies horribly for no reason
It doesn't do this consistently enough to count as definitively broken
But it's not predictable and I don't know how to fix it
You can either convert it to DGA or use the CP version
I wrote an automated coverter for CF to DGA

There are some content packs for it that are broken, but it's the best option for new furnitures out there
(The broken content packs are the PPJA conversions)

It's not like AT
using AT on things modified by CP I belive changes their texture
DGA adds new things, so it doesn't affect anything in CP

Does anyone know a mod that increases the amount the auto grabber can collect? I am using deluxe auto grabber and a huge greenhouse. It works fine, and the range can be increased in the config, but I have to have like 20 grabbers to get all the stuff. It's not very pretty lol

Guys why does my smapi modding api have a missing manifest.json file thingy
Hey guys, for some reason Automate is not working in my game, not showing up in the Mod Config Menu as well. I tried installing via Vortex but also manually to no avail. It works great on my laptop but it just seems to not do anything on PC
tried it both in an existing game and also made a new save but both didnt work
the mod files are there though so I dont understand what I'm doing wrong

occasionally I've seen zipped files missing things, but I've never used automate so I'm not sure that's the case

For Golden Chickens, you can buy Golden Eggs from Marnie's supply shop once you've achieved perfection (i.e. you have the Farm_Eternal mail flag). For Blue Chickens, there's a 25% chance a chicken bought from Marnie's animal shop will be blue if you've seen Shane's 8-heart event (i.e. event 3900074).
So you can open your save file in a text editor (see https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves#Edit_a_save), and just search for 3900074 to see if blue chickens are unlocked. But they should be unlocked as long as the event triggered, regardless of whether you skipped it.

I feel like using PPJA mods makes obtaining perfection almost impossible

Grabbed Better Chests, lovely mod, except that when zooming the map any labels I had put on my chests are seemingly kept where they would be if I hadn't zoomed anything at all. Any known fixes for this? Can't quite find one in options. The brown chest there is the "Ores" chest.

The compatibility one was made for 1.5 you need the CM for 1.4 (iirc)

It's in the same location it would be if it was on the computer but it does mean that I can't have two tabs open and just pull from one to the other it's a whole process every time

Your save is likely already not playable on vanilla Stardew.

You would have to remove all modded items from your inventory and chests. Crops, quit quests, and then uninstall any custom npc mods, then save a day without them, and then you can try launching it in vanilla
(You can put all your mods back later on another computer, and the save will be playable as long as the mod versions are the same)
I dont think you could launch it in vanilla without any issues though
Starting a new, separate save for vanilla Stardew is recommended.

make sure to backup your save just in case, because if you launch it in vanilla theres no failsafes and will corrupt your save

Nothing is saved onto the actual save until you go to sleep when playing with smapi. You should still be able to play in vanilla, maybe backup your save and try again?

Okay, now you need to put all the folders inside your Mods folder.

You just need to find Steam, the rest should be identical.
I recommend making a shortcut to your Mods folder so adding more mods is easier in the future.
If you use steam, right click on stardew and go to Browse Local Files
Also, be aware that some mods have dependencies, which means, they need some other mods in order to function.
