you have to zoom in a lot to get to just the lines because of how little space the piece takes up

so its gonna be low qual and blocky

Stabiliser on most drawing platforms is for stabilised lines, so they aren’t wobbly
But even if that does fix it... such a small brush on a large canvas just sounds horribly painful.

stabilizer lags your stroke and allows the computer to predict where you will end up while choosing the cleanest way to get there

anti-aliasing smooths out the rough edges on your lines

that doesnt change cross programs

Procreate doesn’t have a wide view stabiliser sadly 😓 you can change the brush settings to have things automatically straighten themselves, though

I tend to work very light and then tone corect for a more vibrant color and then readjust the outline. The foxes have just been griefing me.

what you describe is a clipping mask. I've never heard of one made to go over all layers below, but in some programs you could make a layer clip over a folder of them..

idk it's been a decade since I touched Photoshop or any similarly robust program.

my knowledge is basically limited to Sai and how it works, now.

In an actual water tower, the piping system needs to go on the inside of the tank/barrel. I did say it was a teeny tiny change. 😅 By realism I simply meant in line with how an actual water tower looks like, and in regards to how the OG show did it. It was supposed to be that way from the start but I didn't spot the goof until last night. The whole point of my comic series is I want to bring back the realism of Awdre's stories (or at least as much as I can, I'm not expecting 100% realism, but that doesn't mean I won't try) and that includes tiny details 🙂

Pretty much the brush already have that, if you didn't turn it off. If you still feel like it is still too thick, try to control your strength

or try to set the force and pressure in the brush to fit your strength

(Yes, Thomas did have lore), he was originally green when he joined Sodor, and was repainted blue in The Adventure Begins. My comic series expands on this with further characterisation and expansion on Thomas as a character, including some very emotional moments where he must learn that whilst his brothers and sisters were scrapped and he's the last of his kind, he must focus on the present and live his life.

it's no biggie, not everything has to be supreme quality. it's good to draw big but i mean i did basically the same thing for a very long time before starting to size up my work. i usually use a big canvas and draw on it 50%, i have the choice to go further in/do more detail if i want but otherwise it just means it'll look better if i make it a wallpaper or something

i think small canvases can have a lot of charm too and i find that i end up doing more complete works usually when i am confined to a smaller space. sometimes you just don't want to do a big piece of work
