Yeah sometimes the soft shading doesn't fit. I'm still trying to figure out when to use which and I kind of prefer the hard edges and flat colouring instead of going overly painty.

i love the brush strokes in the first one especially the ground
since you want constructive crit, while i love the sun it's a bit hard to tell it apart from the ground, so i would have probably done a smoother gradient or bigger/bulkier lines that set it apart from the very pretty strokes you did for the ground
but something like that is hard to do, i drew a desert recently and that crap aint easy
the other one looks great, nothing necessarily comes to mind for me on that

You can export it and then just import it into the other program. And also, PMC3D saves your progress. So you can always close the page and when you open it again your last work will still be there

i do coloured lineart all the time but i go for darker colours that wont clash as much
and if i wanna use a light colour i set the lineart layer to multiply
that darkens the colour and it also makes the colour slightly differnt based on what colour in under it
