between the 5th and 8th are just the same for the plant before anything grows on and to after when the plant was harvested

His name is Dusias! He's born to a human parent and pit fiend parent, gender of each is unclear and he doesn't really care to remember. His big gimmick is that he has no backstory. Most of his life is forgettable and uneventful. One day he decided to wander town to town and gather stories from the adventurers he meets. He wants to become a living anthology- someone full of tales of adventures that other people tell him. His biggest worry is that he'll be forgotten and fail to leave an impact on the world. He wants to be remembered

One of his horns is fake. The original broke off so he replaced it with a prosthetic that's actually a flask

His bird is Clef. Clef is an asshole who absorbs all of Dusias's negative thoughts. Clef will swear at you for fun.

Hey can I get an opinion? Clip Studio Paint has 3D models that come with it. I use these models sometimes and trace their outline and go from there with like adding on clothing etc. Is this considered copyright?

You bought csp, the models are intended for art purposes both commercial and personal, and you're using them as references for your own drawn art. That is not copyright at work.

It's like if you bought a stock image (not just tore one from the internet, I mean went through the process of getting license for it)
Then you are able to do as you wish with said stock photo

It's also like buying license for music. Once you have a license for it (a valid one!! There have been fake ones so be careful.) You can use that music license for anything both commercial and personal.

That is what it means to buy a license for an art program.

@mighty bronze yeah ctrl + t is the transform tool but wdym something's wrong when you move with the move tool? I might be able to help since i use CSP as well

if you mean 'move' as in move canvas then the move tool only lets you pan around the canvas, not move the image on the canvas, if you get me

Insta algorithm is making things hard for artist tho, cuz u need to keep posting at least once in 4 days or you wont get much likes there. Many ppl repost their photos to keep algorith active but as artist they re rarely doing so. Unless u re very active artist, choose other platforn.

Pinterest is absolutely no, thats the place where most of art thieves came from.

Deviantart activity have been reduced past these years too.

My choice would be twitter or pixiv. Twitter is good as long as you do not cause controversial art and pixiv is very friendly but u gonna see lotta lotta nudes and weird things so keep filtering ur pixiv setting.

@exotic snow a few tips for lineart: (brb while i look for examples)

make lines thicker in areas where the character may be shaded (underneath the chin, opposite side of light source, etc)
make intersections of lines a little bit thick and more connected!
little details tend to have thinner lineart, bigger details have thicker lineart
also it kind of depends on your style! sometimes i make the hair details in my lineart extra thicc, so it’s really a matter of redrawing lines until it looks good to you

in this one, very thicc lines and such for the clothing, hair, thinner lines for the shawl (though i really wanted visible lineart for this one, so it’s extra thicc in most places)

in this one, lines are thickest around the face and the clothes, but thinner on the facial features (except for maybe the eyes), hair details, and on the folds in the pillow. Also curves tend to have more line weight, as well as downstrokes, but once again, personal preference

I guess since we have to wear more, that leaves a lot more "canvas" to do things with. Winter isn't as good because function of keeping warm takes precedence by that point.

Alright so, I've basically got the tablet pictured below. Its shitty and wired and the pen struggles to register most of the time after I put it down to use the mouse to do something on a webpage. What would be a budget-friendly upgrade? At least in your guys' opinions? Note: Linux support is needed

I use a VEIKK A50 which is about 60$ and personally its a good price, the pen registers very well so far, and it is wired. I have had it for 2-3 years and have had 0 problems with it and it has buttons which with the VEIKK software you can configure them to press any button or combination of buttons, and it has a touch pad which you can use also to do gestures to do stuff. The most common use of the touch pad on it is to zoom in and out and change the size of the brush.
