Hilltop layout I've done, didn't forget to add the obelisks this time
It's dangerous mines ya
How it looks?
I want to put more ponds with fish that change the watter color and see how it looks
It looks noice
which farm?
Standar, its my main run
Update on how my (modded) desert region is coming along - I added a cafe area, and was messing around with colors on the art section
I think I'll remove or replace the bench in the art section though it's not workin for me

Omg I remember seeing this a while ago. It turned out to be even better than it was. Great job ✨
That artifacts section is fucking amazing. I love it
Thanks @severe venture it means a ton! I've really been enjoying this, might do the island area next when I'm done here
That sounds awesome. If it is no bother i would love for you to @ me when you make pretty things again ✨
Sure thing!
Wheres sandy?
Purple castle to the north
Can't decide on what I should do, a tea leaves fence around my crop/greenhouse area or a seasonal plant fence around it..
Tea leaves i like them more but some pine tree decorations are cute too
I like the look of tea leaf bushes personally, its all down to personal taste though
WIP for grandpa's shrine. May change it later
If you want I made a bit more efficient layout
Incorporating the beach
Hey, may I know what's the building retexture mod
It's Yellog's https://yellog.postype.com/post/11565362
Ohh I see, thank you for responding
E
Yeap That's Yellogs. (Sorry didn't notice the ping)
Hello!
Does anyone have any cool big shed designs? I am looking to get it a bit more organized and situated! If so please let know, thanks!
What do you want? Decorated room? Or functional?
Like kegs?
anyone know what wood path this is???
I think it's one of the ones you buy from robin
okay thank you!
you buy the crafting recipe I mean
oh i don’t think so. at least i don’t have one with the borders and i think i’ve bought them all from robin
some paths look different when you place multiple of them together
this one? https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Wood_Floor
oh gotcha thank you!!!
All the path in the images are path you buy from Robin or already have (because I think you start with some)
The mod that youre using always makes the farm look amazing
Overall 6.5/10
I like it
thank you!
Wip
its a work in progress but, i have high hopes for this farm
its the second day
Lmao my farm is ugly as hell
Idc abt ur rating but sure
I only have a couple week old photo
@robust mural
It’s a massive wip ofc
Efficient
Somewhat
Im guessing your gi is full of starfruit and possibly kegs and crystalarium
Ill rate it 7/10 for efficiency 7/10 for now cus u said its not at its fullest and
4/10 for the layout or just pretty lookin
Nice, decent 5/10
That's way too little silo for that many barns and coop
My silos are fine.
Are you buying hay rather than cutting grass then?
Coz I don't think that's enough hay storage for winter
I just buy the hay when it gets low for winter other than that they eat grass.
Yeah, I thought so
bruh i have more barns and one silo and im doing fine, without ever buying hay
i think it looks amazing btw, please teach me your designing skills
I mean, you don't have enough silo to avoid purchasing hay in winter
yes ihave, i just take the hay out of the silo
its called store extra fodder in a chest
I want to fight on this.. but I won't
does anyone have 2 player standart farm design?
it is very pretty and natural looking
thanks, I'm trying lol
That map is so big
I wish I could zoom closer
Looks really organized tho
It really is a massive map
I don't know how to take the large screenshots, but I've been starting to decorate my farm (still want the catalogue before I do more)
How does it look? (do note, winter isn't great for aesthetic but the winter grass mod helps)
I like it, and yes, Winter Grass mod is amazing.
i need the winter grass mod now
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1601 Here you go 🙂
ok thankyouu
no problem 🙂
It's probably my favourite mod, makes winter so pretty
@grand lintel You leveled up to Rancher. That's level 250. Woot!
thats why I need it
There is a guide for the screenshot, pinned in this channel ✨
Hahah congrats. Looking awesome with that new color ✨
Yass, purple so pretty
You're getting close too!
I am a lifetime away from it 😂
Hahah, definitely feels like that sometimes xD
that map is so big that you can make a village out of that
tehee

wait how to you get o the other side-
I'm guessing there's a warp.
so, I want it to seem vanilla esque but also want to add a lot of un-vanilla like furniture-
That is huge though, holy hell.
and defo give the kids each a room
Idalda's are a good combination of both in my opinion!
and give le daughter a lubly bookshelf
because one of the children sprites i use (unique children) gave her a reading sprite and i squealed
Check the pins
3 hours ago but ty
Yea, sorry for being late lol
You didn't do anything wrong, so don't apologise
I'm thanking you for your response 👍
If only there is a more effective way of moving chests.
Just bump them
Ig its one of daisyniko's farmmaps
alr time for the trees! (the house at the bottom is going to be a community house)
how to grow giants crops? i ve installed more giant crops mod but it seemed didnt work out..how to solve? thanks
so, giant crops don't grow as soon as the crops themselves finish growing
like your cauliflower might have finished growing but you have to wait some time before it actually grows into a giant crop
smapi said : you must install an asset pack to use this mod
okay, i ll look into it. thanks
thanks
Thank you, and sure lol I be really particular about my designing, I have OCD lol, I just made a few changes for that posted picture I'll upload once I get a screenshot, raining in game currently
guys can i see some of your standard farm designs? bc im bad at designing my farm
Omg this is so cuteee
You go to the bottom of the settings and there should be a button for it
Although that's for pc
Idk what you play on
My first ever farm is a mess, I don't know how I could rearrange everything
this is the exit from the main farm to the side part...
And this is where you enter/exit the extra bit
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/988 This is the modpack for the farm. There's a lot of different maps, the one I went with was the Fangs08 (I think it's 08? I know it's Fangs)
oops
Mayor Lewis disapproves.
😄
OoooOooo
Omg so cute!!!
I need that mod now! 😅🤣
Which ones?
I just don't know what you're asking of me. Are you wanting the specific map I chose?
By the way, the specific map is Fangs108
Or are you asking me to read the Posts tab for the mod? Messages in this channel? I'm very unclear as to what you're asking, I'm sorry.
Uhh
I like your pfp
Thanks
Np
hey
thats my current farm
i was never good at designing stuff and looks so someone can help me out maybe?
a little bit of both! I recently upgraded to the big shed for more room however im having trouble deciding how to organize everything!
I can send over a ss of how i currently have it
I love the workshop themed one, that's how I tend to set mine up, I have to have aestheticals lol
This is how I currently have my shed setup, before I upgraded it
it's like slime farm
Can we move around the greenhouse in the SV farm planner?
oooooooooooo how do i get it
Build it
no
Sad
Does anyone have designs for a tea room in the house?
Looks really cool @drowsy rune !!
Does anyone have the layout or the map layout to Immersive Farm 2?
He used to have this layout guide I'd follow but that was over a year ago and now it's gone
):
Update of my standard farm
Nice
Looks very nice
You got no slime hutch yet ?
I 100% on another save file just, just a new save I been working on, it's still being worked on though
And nah I don't want a slime hutch on this file, was going for a more natural farm look
That looks really nice!
Thank you
Thanks, I been making update as a go, new ideas be coming to me, I'll post more once I make another update.
Thanks, still a work in progress, but it's getting there, just trying to build my funds up so I can get the totems and do what I planned with those
Tomorrow I’ll send my layout what I have now
I’m going to add more buildings but I need save money to prepare myself for summer
How is your storage shed looking like? If you don’t mind me asking
Yea that's what I'm doing, now that I'm starting to get things that's making me more money
Nothing special I just finished filling one with kegs, working on the preserve jar one now and the last one will be filled with crystalurims. Not really going for aesthetic desgins in my sheds, serves no purpose for me in-game.
What's the stuff on the floor in the gated area around the barn?
i need a good 4 corners map
if anyone has one ping me please
almost at the end of yr1 and i need to at least finish a corner
You could use the search tool at the top left of discord to find some ✨
yea i cant find any i like
Hay flooring I used, and the other is the oil makers in the pig barn area, also hay bales and wooden path ways
Ooo okay thank you!
Maybe something useful here?
https://forums.stardewvalley.net/forums/valley-showcase.15/?prefix_id=33
Are you proud of your layout in your farm, house, shed, or any other wonderful place you can think of? Feel free to share it here!
tyty
It looks pretty ✨
this is the layout that I use with my friends on our multiplayer farm
and what it currently looks like in summer of year 3
without cabins
but it looks nice
Two sheds take up the same space as 3 cabins
bro im so focused on completion
id have that finished by yr2
ohhh bet
We have been talking our time
omgomg tysm this helps a lot
And the space each cabin holds is near 4 times that of a shed
Not true, cabin is 5 tiles wide shed is 7
Have what
And what does the have to do with completion
The most stardew valley-ish screenshot ive seen
the farm layout
my own completion lmfao
id rather have a fully done farm than not
Yeah, my farm is taking ages to make
There is basically no way to have it finished it in 2 years
It has too many building and what’s inside cannot even be gotten on year <3
for me yea
obv i cant fill in all the buildings and stuff
but i can do the rest
For anyone without modding or glitches yeah
yea im not modding or glitching
oh i was talking about mine
fo sho
still havent found a farm i like
Sad
I only ever played on 4 corners for under a year on multiplayer with a new player so my progress wasn’t great
4 Days till the start of year 3...
I think I'll build a new tree farm in the smaller area, just fill it with trees, since wood is the resource I run out of the fastest, and maybe a couple of more coops or barns in that long section, or leave it for grass... ugh, so much room left lol.
Yeah lol
Make some pocket cash
With some af or sf and rhubarb + pumpkins
Kegged ofc
Hahahaha thank youu
spring year 3! waiting for all the trees to grow in
holy
so pretty
I just wish that golden clock is moved 2 tiles to the left..
earthy recolor?
yes! :) i replaced the changed trees with the regular ones on my own
thank you!!
how did you get a massive farm
Mods
So the beach farm is more on barns and coops
Unless you get a crap ton of pots
could someone send some farm layout ideas for hilltop? i would really much appreciate it
Omg this is so cuteee
There's my year 3
wow ty
Yw ^^
im aiming something more simplistic
can u teach me how to like
change things around
after u put sonething there
Dont use the stone path alot when designing a farm, or just the same patg alot generally, have variety use the pebble path as it goes well to your theme.
Wdym
Looks dead when u use the same bland path basically
Robin can move buildings for you, if that's what you meant
looks very nice btw
And yea if you mix in some stepping stone paths with the cobblestone, it'll look less like a repeating pattern
Every time I see one of your maps I want to play on a bigger map for decorations. But then I suck at decorating and dislike the long walks lol
you could always decorate somewhere outside the farm
@gloomy pine
Same happns at me with dessert decorations kekw
wow i love it
hi ik this may sound like a stupid question but what do you guys think is a better flooring for my main road?
stone walkway
stone or stone walkway floor
tysm!
Right side
here's mine, with mods :)
Yes
Looks super cozy
Omg this is so pretty
I got 2 cows and 2 goats (they are named by my goats irl)
Very cute
Thank youu
Can someone send me ideas for a standard farm? 😀
my hilltop farm
giving lewis to lewis
It's still being worked on and the only mods we have have that affect the farm are aesthetic ones
Thx!!
Recommend u to put more silos and harvest or buy as many food u can
That's gorgeous. I love the use of big crops to the right.

This is so pretty and organized
Thank youu!!!
The only edit I would make is mix up some of the cobblestone path with stepping stone path to make it look less monotonous
Otherwise it looks amazing
make sure to put grass starters underneath the fences if you want to cut back on you food for animals
they won't be able to eat it but the grass will be able to spread
and so they can eat that
:)
My whole map is definitely not just stone paths
I’m making the whole map like that when I’m back on stardew
Yes they will grow
alright thanks
No
But yes
Omg love it
yeah?
not really but i can open my dms
ok
there u go
thx
Beautifuuuul
It looks super awesome. I don't know why you would want pine trees in your farm tho. Is it for the wood?
yup
Wait don’t the auto petters have to be in the barn/coop
I only just got one recently for the first time
yes
i’m not really done sorting my farm out so i’ll move those
Oh ok I just wanted to make sure because I have spent many hours in skull cavern just for auto petters
This is how my standard farm would look if i didnt picked forest farm
Spring year 3...
does anyone have a cute design for a farming based forest farm? (no mods and 1 coop & barn, might remove those in the future)
I recommend using the search tool at the top right of discord.
ok thank you!
Look, copy and paste this: "in: farm-designs forest farm"
Thats no @eternal oracle forest too?
Yeah, that's his. Pickle was pointing that out.
god damn
Anyone with wildness farm design?
Not mine but good looking
:o ty
What do you mean?
You dont have a forest like that almost full of kegs?
Empty@but filling now
@gloomy pine
My farm is kinda sucky tbh
Hey! Brand new to discord so apologies if i mess up lol. So i use the reimagined 2 farm(it’s a mod) How in the world do y’all design it. The most I’ve gotten is taking that little area with a fence to the right of the farm, and putting my animals in it.
.
Ohhh that’s stunning. My farm has a layout like this (this is not my farm tho)
What kind of mod its that
I’ll link it! It’s MASSIVE https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5261
Do people generally employ ||Junimo huts|| (just in case..) all over? I seem to recall they were very expensive, but it's "only" 20k
Sometimes it's relaxing to go around picking up all the veggies and fruits, but it's also timeconsuming
Getting there...
I plan on it eventually, but I'm not relying on it/them, just gonna be an aesthetical mostly, to be honest. Just another type of building I get to play with lol.
Cool. Think I'll postpone it for now, and maybe do a redesign later. In fall now and plan on implementing the plan I had for the coming winter. Lots more fish ponds, and finally make proper roads and a more concrete room for farms + sprinklers. I usually go very ad-hoc the firs two years 😊
how is your farm so huge holy
mine is so small
actually it’s average and it has a good personality
Modded farm
ahh makes sense
and yeah, it's huge...
yeah how are you gonna fill all of that
it takes like a day to walk from one side to the other
Right‽ haha i use a waking faster mod too! And The farm has mine carts to get to other sides of it since it’s so big lol
it’s own minecarts? that’s pretty cool actually.
how is your ! inside of your ?
TimeSpeed mod is my friend, and mini obelisks, and triple shot espressos lol
I made that into my bed room
That's my house set up
Oh crap, I still have Christmas stuff up
love how cozy it looks
Yeah, me too :))
!junimohut
Perhaps that helps.
Thanks 👍
Hmm
Tried doing my own layout
The larger squares are pressure nozzled
what should i add
?
put the childrens bed on the middle
both inbetween the Wooden pillars
would look a bit more symmetrical
and Personally I would remove the crafted floors
I like to put the dinosaur skeleton in the kids' room 🤣
It looks so amazing! I would add some more plants since they are so pretty
should i put the human skeleton at the kids room
YES! 😄
Wow this is beautiful what year are u on 💕
The start of year 3
First week of Spring
Omg goals
I'm very modded, and have a ton of time in the game lol
Oh! But still ahha
I love all these modded farm pics. I share them to my discord group. And they love them.
🥹
Any Stardew Planner alternatives?
does anyone know how to best layout a riverland farm? mine is a mess right now ):
I cant find this file on my pc
I wanted to share my farm and made a screenshot but idk
oooo the biggest thing that helped me arrange things better in my riverland farm for not knowing it wasn’t the best with space was to separate and plan out uses for the different separate lands instead of clashing and etc.
like one part can be for crops, the other for barns and etc.
i sadly don’t have a pic with me now but i would have def sent my farm to portray it or the other farms i used
nvm found it!
My year 3 farm layout
IN the left corner I wanna place some buildings for storage and stuff like that
I favor crops on the central island. You can squeeze most of two junimo huts in there, as well as most of one in the patch right outside the front door. One barn between the farmhouse and greenhouse, one coop on one of the smaller islands with grass extending onto neighboring islands, slime hutch on the far bottom left island, fish ponds wherever. I usually skip sheds completely for riverland and lay out my kegs etc off the farm, like on the road, in the tunnel, and in the paved quarry.
ahhh that’s such a good idea thank you!! mine is all over the place!
oooo okay interesting!
does anybody know of a good honey farm layout? ideally quite cute too
dwwww!!! takes time to fix it really, it took me abt year 3-4 for me to actually arrange things so def take your time too :DD
i usually like making shapes out of them if that helps and put flowers too ^^
ah thank you!!! i’ve been playing for a while but i usually delete the farm and start a new one constantly. so now that i’m actually dedicated to this one i have no idea what to do 😭
i def relate a lot and commitment is pretty hard but I tell you, patience and time matters even if it takes until year 6 to get yourself together, being dedicated to a river farm when you value space a lot is tough but definitely learn to focus on convenience, uses and organization, u def got this and i hope u can fix it up as time goes on :DD
any trellis designs?!? im losing my mind trying to figure one out
Dayum that’s actually really similar to mine
For how many flowers?
My greenhouse layout
wow!!! like i said earlier i kept restarting my farm, so my riverland was the first save i’ve actually finished the community center & i have no idea what to do with my greenhouse. this looks nice!
what would you say is the best crop to grow in a greenhouse?
Use the planner
This is how my farm is looking rn
It took time and trial and error + effort but I think I really like it
any amount really, dont need a huge farm though
Either ancient fruit/pineapples/ or starfruit
ahh you just want a cool looking one?
this would be like the most optimal
that could work!1 thank you :)
not looking for a huge one really
Working on beautifying my farm now that I hit 100% completion
why are there so many mills? you only need 1 or maybe two if you REALLY love flour and rice... no one needs 7... you'd never use them? a shed in place of all those chests to the left of the farmhouse would be better for storage, you can put the chests inside, as well as any machines and such... way more space, easier to organize, tons more convenient. there's also no direct pathway to the forest entrance, you have to go through all the gates and grass to get there... otherwise looks nice :>
Ill check my greenhouse layout but I think you can even plant 2 more blue fruits (forgot name) but ill send a screenshot to u soon hopefully
I would show my greenhouse layout, if I had it unlocked
what do you think? and yeah i used the glitch to get more statues o perfection
How do you get a mushroom tree
with mr qi each one costs i thin 10 qi gems
Ah ok
i love it, it is so cute
First playthrough to perfection, spring Y10, think I’m finally about ready to call it finished
Very cool
That looks lovely!
Thank you 😊
The paths are looking so pretty!
Tysm!
So uhhh I've never tried making a farm before, but I wanted a goal to work towards! Anyone have any advice to improve this or something?
haven’t been here in a hot minute
wooden paths.
It’s super nice, however it’s stale. Personally I’d add haybales and brazier’s to your barn & coop areas
wooden paths are life
yes
i personally like a mix of them!
benches also work tons
fences around crop fields
also MODS if ur on pc!! i can teach u how to get them easily
I'm on PC but I don't want to start using mods yet, since I want to get perfection first
ohh
deff reco looking at google / pinterest for inspo,
i look up “stardew valley farm layout aesthetic”
(Still on year 1, I don't have the battery packs for Ginger Island, so I'm just stuck with the main area things)
I'm a little worried to do that because of 1.5 spoilers also I might just end up subconsciously copying
ye
ooh
Winter 1 :)
Hmm, is it just me or the grass area that coop and barn has is different
also, dont use a lot of honey things once u can use kegs for wine !
if u want perfection u need the gold clock and wine gets y tons
juniko huts help roo
I just don't know how to work them in because they seem to have a range that doesn't work super well with sprinklers/scarecrows but honestly I haven't tried that much with them
try to make sections for crops also to have different ones for perfection
ou
What do you mean?
Oh you have 2 barn
Ye
i just put one junimo in the middle of a 6x 6
I have 2 barns, 1 coop
You don't need that many fish ponds
ye
Also, where would you put your stable?
It's in top right
Oh
But I've never used a horse before so I don't know how they work
just like walking but quicker !
i use my horses all the time
You need more silos
but f i s h
maybe use like 4? put them in a open area! rhats what i did
4 is good enough
What types of fish?
i use blob fish since they give a lot
I always have lava eels
one blob fish one lava eel and i forgot the others
Sometimes octopus if i was lucky
I was gonna do uhhh
do u have kegs btw
sturgeon, stingray, blue discus, blobfish, lava eel, octopus?
Yea, no sheds at all
cuz if u full a big shed eith them u get rich
that’s really good :)!
Are those the things I put by the scarecrows?
I know very little about late game farms, this is basically the farthest I've gotten
that’s how u got 20m +
lol
Okay, that's a lot
You do know you can empty a pond after you no longer need a fish product, right?
Say you're done with sturgeons caviar. You empty it and use for another fish
i have a year 20 farm on a old save so i know a lot
I just like sturgeon but yea I can do that
do what u like !
Also I already got caviar from night market
Which fish you want long term
ooh!
Then why sturgeon again?
Because sturgeon are cute :)
There's better selling roe
fr
Understandable
I'm not super worried about money making and I'm a bit intimidated by like kegs/casks and stuff
squid is my dav tho
LOL
all it is is just wine and veggies
then booya! rich
oooh nice
For sheds, you don't need to make like, 100 in a single day
No no no no
So wait are sheds just for more casks?
You make it one by one
Not cask for kegs
sheds r for anything but most commonly used for kegs
i was gonna do aquarium in house but shed works too then!
Okay i write it wrong
yep!
Alrighty I'll try to get a couple
just don't know where to put em
i have a aquarium in my house also but its fun yo have a lot
Casks only work in the cellar
I plan to get every fish iridium quality and store in aquarium :))
I hope you haven't caught your legendary fish yet lmao
Ah I didn't know if they worked in both or not
Nah, I've tried, but immediately let go if I didn't get perfect
Lol
I'll just try again with seafoam pudding later
Iridium Legend, that sounds a lot of pain
Damn dont forget about the quality lure
ooh
gl!
mine are just filled eith cute stuff
Oooh nice
iridium quality is vc hard to get so i wish u luck!
I'm not THAT worried since I love fishing and I'm fine with doing tasks for long amounts of time but it might get annoying
Hmmm, I want to collect something too....
fishing <3
What should I collect
im a flower collected
Hats idk
animals?
I also wanna collect every gold quality plant
Everyone does that
ooh
I just like collecting :)
collecting is sm fun
And I've saved all my weapons so far
i collected every rarecrow before
I was gonna collect all hats but i dont want to suffer, instead i will decorate the whole map including indoor ambients
oo
(sold duplicates though)
mine are just in a chest
Hmmm
Yea that's what I was gonna do with em
Oh weapon collecting is nice
Yeah, someone did that before
Although theres the remixed rewards exclusive ones
The 8 scarecrows in the design were meant to be rarecrows!
I GOT IT!
Collect uhh...machines?
Rings!
Maybe I do need more sheds
Oooh I want all the rings too!
Except I'll have to do multiplayer at some point for that but meh
Mmm rings im probably close to all
Rings is unmissable
The ammount of iridium bands i have is astounding
I got one from fishing once :)
I can't find those in the planner
why not just rebuy them?
Didn't know you can
yep you can at adventures guild
Oh it works with boots?
I guess that means I can sell most of my boots/weapons since they take up almost a chest
Put boots in a dresser
I see you have the obelisks so where would you put the golden clock?
I'd move your horse shed down a bit
alrighty
Also if you have ducks and wanna see them swim, you can put your fence around the pond to allow them access to the water
Yes!
An easy fix if you're worried is to just take the last two pieces of wood on each end and move it next to the piece of wood before it
Blocks off that area on both sides
It's telling me I can't put fences there
I don't know if that's true in game or not though
oh and what do i replace (2) fish ponds with if anything
beautiful park
my greenhouse and keg room
Keg room hurts me but it does look pretty
thx!
😉
Welcome to the server, they look nice!
Why?
Ngl i love the design of the shed
Efficiency
Bc of the 8 kegs spots wasted bc of the table?
how's this design look?
it's just to signal there's my keg factory in there
is it the sign that looks off
like the placement
or the item in it
oh are you talking about the little fruit on the top left
ohhh you're talking about the mod retexture i'm using
yeah because it's sideways
but im using it because it says which fruit it is
its a nice ease of life thing
ooo anyone have designs for a greenhouse? i dont care about optimization just decoration :)
idk how i feel about it
woah
but its a decent vision i think
thats gorgeous
not total vanilla btw i was testing out greenhouse designs as well, used itemspawner
thanks :D
i just use mild retextures that work with vanilla to spruce up the overall game a bit \
ill get it for you
tyty
its split down the middle bc the iridium sprinklers dont fit equally
which is annoying
but design > optimization >:)
ugh ikr lol
another one to my collection
oooh i love this!! what mod are you using for the fruit trees and ancient fruit retexture?
hey does anyone have any tips on making a more technical farm look nice? i have alot of machines everywhere and dont know how to install texture mods
Are you using mods at all? Because in my head, machines either means the random furnaces, charcoal kilns, etc., or the automation mods that pluck items
Regardless, I’d focus on organization for functionality. For example, assuming unmodded Stardew, the mayo makers stay near the cows, and if you have an area to grow trees, you can put the kilns there. I’d also keep furnaces at the entrance of the mines, and just ferry back items I need at the farm, so at least there aren’t 12 furnaces just THERE
If you have automation mods, or if you want all the machines without the eyesore of them being on your farm, just have a nice shed to throw all of them inside. Plus, it gives you some extra space for the farm for farming buildings, extra crop space, or even just more areas to add a little extra decoration to move it towards a more aesthetic farm without actually losing the functionality
Jumino Hut Layout, Forest Farm.
Looking for feedback on the paths of this 4p farm, i feel like it looks very bad but idk why
Fill the path border with grass 🙂 I always believe grass makes farm look more alive
Omg this is so cuteee
Finally got around to actually planning a whole farm layout, any thoughts? The 4 squares in the middle are fish ponds but they won't show up on the render for some reason, the desert and island obelisks also wouldn't show up so I just used the other ones as placeholders
It looks very planned
Very nice!
nice
A question: will it work to have lampposts on the corners like this, or will animals still get through? It didn't look as nice in-game as I hoped 😕
i think even without the lamppost animals cant get through
Okay thanks. Hopefully it works 👍
hello, i just started playing stardew yesterday. im on day 14 of spring and i chose the riverland
farm layout
now i kinda dont like it
i looked for different farm design inspo and i hardly see any riverland layout
what do you think is the best farm layout?
my faves are standard and forest but i would go with standard since ur a beginner
Yea it's not a very popular map, mostly cause of how little space it offers. But it can definitely be a pretty map!
You can go with forest too as a beginner. It has some great features
thanks guys im considering forest since ive seen lot of cute farm designs with that map. tho a lot of people advised me to take the standard
Besides Beach and River farm, map layouts aren't really that impactful. So whichever choice you take will be fine.
✨
Just go for the one you find prettiest
I started out with forest since I wasn't really a fan of how bland standard was, and it went fine yea c:
And wilderness maybe not the best beginner map either haha
True!
I always forget about wilderness lmao
Yea haha, we don't see it that often
maybe ill choose forest this time
thankss
Of course, you're welcome

Try to putt it straight
Basic, Forest, four corner is the best for me
Hilltop and forest
Looks pretty
Though (at least on the phone) it looks a bit like you might struggle getting to the most left column of bee hives. You can't walk through the lamp post so you can't come from below, not sure about the corner in the upper left.
Aurora Vineyard
Looks good!
Last time I had the event to unlock it I couldn't just ||kick out apples||
hilltop layout- how in the world do i design it-
For my first farm ever I went with the forest farm - the standard farm seemed a little boring and I really enjoyed learning on the forest farm. My second save is the river farm and I love it, but I know a lot more about the game now.
My riverland farm (the square of hay should not be in there with the melon patch but the crop fairy came 🙄 )
Pretty’
Im lookin for efficient but pretty. Your layout seems that way - i consider || ginger island || is your main cropland?
if you pick hilltop, ginger island would be a massive help for crop space
as well as the greenhouse
i have a bit of wasted space but i love my farm
I picked it because its such a pretty farm!
I always do standard
Could u clarify what the buildin is top left?
Barn?
Cabin probably
It looks like a coop
Or a barn?
See the little door on the left of the building
That’s the like animal door thing
oh my thats gorgeous
probably the slime hutch/winery
Yep hilltop isn't that good for efficiency in my opinion
Still away to go x
lol thats the top right, not top left
How did you get the medieval skin to stay on the building? When I took over the farm the new fixed farmhouse skin took over.
Anyone got a simple regular farm layout? I dunno if i am in the mid or early game but problably in the early cause i got no decorations at all and im still poor even if it is already winter.
can I get some constructive criticism on my farm design please?
i need house decoration idea
What's the things beside the greenhouse
Your sprinkler arrangement is... well
Inefficient
Do you really need 2 barns and 2 coops?
I kind of feel like I might, just because I want to have a lot of animals and I agree with the sprinklers I'm still trying to work out how to place them
There's barely any grass there
yeah I didn't have a lot of space I'm still working on moving stuff around
Why do you have 3 sprinkler farming area
One on southwest
One on northwest
And one southeast
that's bc it's a multi farm, one is for the other person, one is for me, and one is for the junimo hut
I don't see why you can just make it to be one big farm area
Doesn't mean you have to split your farm
It's a co-op
I just felt like it would be easier, also so our srops stay separate
*crops
we prefer to do it split like that
Sigh, what a wasted space..
we like to have our own areas and I feel like I covered all the important bases for a farm so what's the big deal?
You do you I guess
anything else you could see?
You can build silos on the northwest part of the farm
Like that tiny sliver of vertical space
actually yeah I did that in my singleplayer farm
Horse stable?
here
That blue thing, what's those again??
You're gonna want to find a place for a horse stable
I have one, right below the farm house
You can place a shed beside the greenhouse where the lightning rods is
you don’t need to be so mean😭 you can give constructive criticism without the attitude
ok I can move the lightning rods
And I DID
kero is this your first play through?
Wait so if you want to access the horse stable you walk all the way around to the gate...?
The horse doesn't need grass
don’t worry about being super organized right away, play at your own pace. it’s not fun if you have everything planned out exactly! @bleak gorge
honestly not really, I've never gone into farm design before tho so this is new lol
that's probably a good idea, I just thought they looked better outside
- animals are an amazing source of income, especially early on
- add a variety of paths!
- rotate between different trees scattered around the place instead of in big clumps (exception for tappers)
- the slime hutch isn’t really worth it imo
Ookay, do you need slime hutch?
you can also make a shed for the furnaces instead of having them out and about
i don’t think fruit trees grow all year around so id put those into the greenhouse unless you feel like switching them around every season as well
The only good aesthetic fruit trees is cherry in the spring, others just meh
or you just want all the buildings
yeah I'm trying to design an endgame farm lol
this is mine if it helps at all
I just really suck at decorating so
decorating is one of my favourite things in the game tbh
that looks super awesome you're really good at that!
thank you! good luck w your farm
ty, I'm gonna fix some of the stuff with your suggestions so
if you have small empty spaces you don’t know what to do with, i like putting trees and grass to fill it up. it all depends on your farm aesthetic because i love the overgrown natural look tbh
I’m thinking of doing this for my farm, but have the greenhouse in the middle and fish ponds where the green house currently is.
Might do a bee layout above the pond
Also probably trees or something under the chickens
i have to replace some of the walls still but heres my farm so far! :SDVjunimolove:
Cute but what's going on with the pathing near grandpa's shrine?
Been a while since last time I shared anything, and I still love how my farm turned out, so here.
it's aesthetics over form I suppose, but hey. Sometimes u just wanna lay back and relax. :D
uh- tbh idk- thats another area im gonna have to fix up, i think i made that during my third year and i just havn't gotten around to fixing it yet-
kinda
May I see?
Winter Y2 and working on implementing stuff I've done in the planner. But with Robin almost taking up residence on the farm and also trying to build more kegs (and ideally jars), wood supply is nuts. How do people deal with that? Plant trees all over the place, or what?
Buying usually
Exactly! I have heard the desert and the quarry are good places to plant trees.
Cheers. I've planted a bunch of trees on my own farm for now, and blew a bunch of tree fertilisers, so hopefully that gets me by a little bit. Otherwise maybe forking out the nose at Robin's will have to be done
I usually plant a ton of trees in cindersnap too, down where the spring onions pop up. You can in the quarry too but I use that for tappers on trees
Picture?
This should provide a fair bit in a few days
Unfortunately coal is a big bottle neck too. The resource crunch is real! 😄
go through the ice levels in the mine and kill the black soot sprite looking things, they drop coal
what are you trying to improve? chests/kegs/furnaces can go in a shed
Get ur uncle
The goofy ah one
I’d come over to ur farm
Make it less bad
What platform you on?
I don’t have my pc wait, yeah next time
You play on pc?
The. Sure
I don’t have a pc for the next 2 weeks though
Lmao
the great thing was stardew is that there is no right or wrong way to play and your farm can look however you want it to! If you're looking to clean it up I would suggest getting a shed to put your machines/kegs/etc in
Does anyone have a good four corners farm design?
I can't design to save my life lol
I haven't tried that layout yet but the online planner is super helpful and a time saver
Yeah, I've done that a lot, and just got the reward ring now. so that will actually help a bit more going forward. Can also just outright buy the coal from Clint, but it's darn expensive tbh
Or keep them off farm, it’s more efficient and easy
game spoiler: ||can i see some peoples ginger island home and farm designs? im assuming im supposed to make a farm on gi too but idk how exactly to design it and what to grow ya know||
here’s my home :)
ooo!! very nice
one thing I like to do is plant mahogany trees and chuck the hardwood into wood chippers
I made a mod for the repaired version of it
it only supports DNEarthly tho for my personal use
This is my Beach Farm so far, what do you guys think?
Wow
I also did this little Museum, its hard to put everything i want inside! (some rare statues are not there) but i think its really complete and it took me sometime to make it, really fun, what do you think I should add or take ?
if you also have a museum, please share! i would love to see some layouts and creative ideas
i used a cabin :)
it’s only the minerals tho cause i don’t feel like finding the artifacts again aha
look pretty cool ! you should sort your minerals by color, lots of work ahaha but look soooo cool
lol i’m to lazy but i probably should lol
where did you got that coffe maker next to your bed? its a mod ?
it’s the special orders thing iirc it’s from evelyn
“gifts for george”
i tried to make that one! how did you make it, i always run short 😦 right now im on spring but it doesnt appear anymore 😦
ikr it’s like leeks didn’t exist for a moment i had to do those wild seeds
wild seeds, i didn't think of that, thanks!!
Im going to copy your house thank you very much.
maybe a plant pot with an ancient fruit?
i would suggest putting paths around the trees once they fully grown so the seeds dont drop everywhere and make stray trees amongst order
also
hands down... the biggest and probably mos complete farm ive seen yet, altho the lack of the forest farm miffs me a bit
without mods ancient fruit won't grow in pots
Farm + Greenhouse
River farm ideas??
Don't.
damn yeah, I co uld make so many coops on that shit
Still lots of room to fill but I grew my first giant crop :3
PRETTY
what do you have or plan to have in all thse ponds
It was just meant as a temporary thing during winter to get wood, that area will turn into fenced-in grass for animals for spring. Pretty efficient for getting wood, but it took out a whole bunch of the saved up fiber to make tree fertiliser
Looks great!
