I move it to the corner so i can put more sprinklers for more profit
yeah i did that on my farm
kinda neatπ
I want to get a second junimo plush and maybe a rug
In my other room i have a fishtank and i put the crimson fish in there
100 golden walnuts to enter the room, 20 qi gems to purchase!
Yes
I put a big dinning room over there.
Here an old pic of my farmhouse: #farms-and-outfits message
my room is a mess of just random stuff
Imagine having to water your crops by hand.

ooh that looks cool, I kinda just decorated it according to the season, I'll figure something else in the spring
That sounds lovely. Can I see?
It is lovely indeed
tyy, I'll cry the day I have to switch to spring, I love winter sm
All decorated for the holiday! Nice. I like the pink sofa with the blue rug, too.
picking the rug was a pain, glad you like it!!
Beach farm spring year 4. Needs some empty spaces still to be filled up. Some more pathing needs to be fleshed out. Generally happy with how it's been coming along but still missing some things to make it more alive and seamless
thoughts on this as a farm layout? i'm trying to keep the forest-y vibe, there will be more trees and such scattered around in the gaps, and also some areas yet to be filled with something, i'm still planning those bits. fruit trees will be inside the greenhouse (on the tiled bit, outside the plantable area)
ideas and feedback welcome! :)
key
β’ blue lines covering sheds = greenhouse
β’ twigs/small logs = trees
eh you can put the oil process machines underneath in that forest part of your farm for more farming space
wdym?
the process machines
yeah but which forest part?
do u mean here?
yesss
i made a little cofee shop in my house
niceee
that's a good idea!
hmm i dunno what crops i'd put there lol
the ones below the mill will be flour/etc
but definitely i will move the oil machines to the other spot u suggested, ty!! :D
starfruit
ancient fruit
no thxxx
Imagine a mod that let's you run a store
i love
that smell of money ...
π have you got automate?
U can use ur hoe to harvest produce from casks
oooh
@frail plinth You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels and share images in all channels!
with your hoe? Or do you destroy them everytime? xD
ah oki xD

What kind of wine?
carambola wine
nice
Thats at least 4,500each
this is what I generated, there were 189 wines
Very close to a million. ππΆππΎ ππΆππΎ
i think you can get more if you have the Artisan Profession
But i just need to make the math with what you share
im still in year 1 summer so i dont have a good house yet but hello!
Hello
This is so cool. Love it
hahaha
tyyy <3
woaaaa cool
Go into the settings while on the farm and scroll down to the very end. π
thanks
here
what yall think
you have to destroy them everytime regardless of using a hoe
It's extremely good in my opinion for someone who didn't even unlock the greenhouse yet
Really pretty and cozy
Even though im not here because of farm design i just wanted too show of somthing insane
how did you make the hot bar that way
U mean the black screen ?
the hot bar with all youe inventory
how is it on the side
Oh cause im mobile
ohh
really? thanks a lott
thank youu
Does anyone know how to take a full screenshot of the farm on mobile?
Someone mentioned how earlier today! Try scrolling up, I think it was here.
Things are coming along nicely this first year! Expanding slowly but surely.
does anyone have any ideas for what i should put in the empty spaces?
You can put beehouses
Or more crops
You also can decorate with trees and chairs and tables
Obelisks with clock in the middle?
So the clock would be centered
like this?
That's soo cuteeeee
any designs for green house
Thank you!
so my friends, any idea for where a shed would fit in nicely?
easily assessable and not ugly
idk where
above and left of pond?
Area with trees below the house maybe
How do ya'll take screenahots of your farm lol
Go into the settings menu, then scroll all the way down to the bottom, there should be a button that looks like a camera
Once you click that, there should be a different button that allows you to go to the screenshots folder
my boyfriend was the one who got me liking stardew valley. I bought it on my laptop and switch and I have it on my Xbox one. π I watch him play it whenever I ask if he can stream it lol. im slowly learning on how to play the game.
oh thats how, thanks
No prob!
Ooo nice
southeast <3 @willow spruce ik you wanted to see it lmao
soooooo pretty!!!

oooo
summer's ending and i just hit farming 10! can wait until i've cleaned the farm so i can really lay things out.
Dope
Does this count as farm designs, if so what its this item called
Wood Floor?
You can buy the recipe to Robin
Ru$tic Plank Floor.
Alright thanks
Yes this
anyone have any idea what i can add to this, i have like no idea what to put in the red spaces
Maybe a tree/tapper farm somewhere or bee houses
Hey
I see that you have no bees in your farm. So maybe you would want to add some?
more sheds could be useful too!
I would add mostly decore since it seems like you already have the basics
Listen to her, sheds are always the right choice
Also consider adding the extra houses (the ones for playing co-op)! You can't get rid of the present and the bed inside, but they look nice and offer very cheap storage/processing space.
My Farm is not completely done like at all but I wanted to get some opinions out of it
I really like what you have done with the pathing
Thank you that's my favorite part of any game that lets you customize stuff adding paths and trees and stuff outside
Thanks
year 3 spring progress, still alot of work needed
summer year 1 progress
nice
house
pretty new to the wine stuff but damn π©
you farm is very bueatiful! i love the sectioning! also, may i ask what recolor mod r u using its pretty,,
just wait till you have sheds full of kegs π©
im pretty sure its https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5255 with Natural Color - ReShade on nexus
thank u!!!
I looove your kitchen
thank u
Holy coconut
Sorry but where's the tv π
The room all the way down with the baby looks beautiful
yknow you dont really need a tv if youre past the end of y2 and have ui info suite
I have a mod that shows my luck
and I have all the recipes
so I don't see a need to place a tv
living in the moment no tech truly medieval
thank you that probably my favorite room
theres also a newspaper mod that delivers info that way so you wouldnt need a tv
I have 11 mods and all of them are qol
May I bother you asking for the link? That sounds interesting
and 1 recolor*
Thank you

ty emma i actually didnt know of a link i just saw it in a yt video
I googled "newspaper mod stardew" lol
yeah that'll do it
Probably in the place by the crops on the lower side by the bunch of trees
Curious of what people thought. Any suggestions on what I should do differently for some extra space
i really like this
this is mine, its still very very far from finished
i wanna do a lot of reorganising
make a better area for crops
oooh! Is that the 'Four Corners' farm?
and obviously that south mess
yessy c:
Nice! I've done a few of them but never that one...main plan for mine is to have my animals on the top right with my green house, my body farm on the top right, industrial stuff in the center and at the quarry, and then a bigger tree farm towards the bottom so far. I only have those trees for the community center and for a little extra cash
sounds like a great plan
Is there a way to rotate floor dividers?
no but each has a left and right orientation
theres no way to have a horizontal divider
That's disapponting
What type of floor is this?
Is that better?
I believe that is wood path, which you can buy from robin or buy the recipe of from robin too
This is our 4 person CO-OP farm. Itβs currently under redesign
me likey! what year are you guys?
itβs been like 3 months since I last posted this so Iβm posting it again lmao
nicee
Did you grow all those pumpkins or added them with a mod?
grew them
i had about twice as many by the time the season ended but I had to cut them down
Almost year 5. We are at a net worth of 1.5m, 4 candles from olβ grandpa and we just got to ginger island
Phewwww! That is nuts! congrats to you guys! Do you stream on twitch?
Dang! I'd love to see a run down of ya'll farm! what do you guys specialize in?
well my sister is great at keeping the farm in order and feeding the animals, and Iβm really good at having heart attacks in the mines. Her friends are not too active so idk
I got the mines from level 50 to level 120 singlehanded
This is what the farm looked like on I think year one or two before I joined
Iβm actually the newest member of the farm
Iβm also good at making things look nice
can't believe pelican town is so beautiful XD
thx king
how do i get a screenshot of my entire farm?
Scroll to the bottom of your options tab in game
Then when outside, press the camera icon
!farmshare
@solemn lichen Here's a guide on how to capture a screenshot of your entire farm and on getting started with the planner:
https://forums.stardewvalley.net/threads/152/
i love this, this photo was inspo for when i decorated mine
nicee
Omg this is gorgeous!
thank you!
Seeing as I'm in year three with one barn and one coup, this is super impressive
Is there a reason not many people use the river farm? That's the one I opted into and from the reddit it seems like I'm the only one lmao
itβs just not good
you have tiny uneven patches of land that arenβt really good for anything
and you barely get any benefits
Hmm not sure! I'm doing the beach farm for the first time, but I definitely wanna try and have something pretty like that picture!!
Space is usually a struggle there, and people dont like the way theres separated small islands everywhere instead of all of it in the same spot, but you can manage it and make it look amazing!
your farm is so pretty-
so uhh this happened...anyone has any idea on wtf I should do to decorate around it?I dont wanna get rid of it but I also don't want it to be hidden behind a tree or unnoticeable
(do ping if you're replying idm and it's actually easier to check)
Not even summer (year 1)
Break it
but I want it as like,an achievement or smth, like the huge crops
yeah it's an incovenient corner, but better than in the middle of my strawberry field,or in a place where I got to change everything around it
Unlucky spot. Although you could do a path around it?
yah that's probably fine
problem is the tree
And yes those things look better in a quarry full of stones. π
Are the trees still essential? Then I would leave them there for now.
Oh. It's edge of the map. Really not much space. π€
not exactly, the trees go around most of the left side so one missing would be bothering
I was more thinking about replacing it with flowers but that's probably not a good spot. π€
Did you get the other event too? π€
The one with the capsule.
yeah,and the owl too
For sort of an "alien area". π
that sounds kinda cool
slowly decorating the bedroom
cool
Very cute and cosy π
Thank y'all!
I'm a sucker for the leaves and vines that they sell at the seasonal events, I just think they look super cool
That's such a good vibe
They do look super cool
How is my Year 1 beginning Summer farm design? The holes are for sprinklers I don't yet have the iron to craft. I also don't know how to ensure the scarecrows cover everything so for now they're pretty close. If anyone has tips I'd appreciate them! (I mainly planted blueberries, with some hops and corn, and one of every other summer crop, along with ~5 mixed seeds.)
so theres naturally going to be some overlap on those sprinklers if you use the quality (gold) ones
the best way to do those is to place them in a square grid, 2 tile gap between them, so you dont waste them. (gold and iron aint cheap early on)
also the scarecrow range is way higher than you may expect
one scarecrow should handle that whole field i believe
Do people usually unlock gold sprinklers by the end of Y1 summer?
i did
what's a gold sprinkler?
ohhh i just realized that is the most efficient pattern for normal sprinklers
there are a few tiles on the end that wont get watered though
also the quality sprinklers are unlocked at farming level 6 and water the nearest 8 tiles
as opposed to just 4
i typically skip regular sprinklers in my games and just water a bunch till i get to level 6
Oh. I believe I'm level 4 so I'll likely get those mid to late summer
yeah youll get there
not a bad idea to get regular ones tho
and you honestly dont need the quality ones if you can get enough regular sprinklers and dont care about space too much
And as for the unwatered tiles, I was planning on putting some more sprinklers on the edges to continue the pattern and have space for a bit more crops next to those
that totally works
But it would probably be better to simply use gold sprinklers in a different design in another area after I do that
my best bet is to just keep expanding. summer should be the month you really do your most expansion and by fall you can get a butt load of pumpkins and cranberries (both have good profits. pumpkins especially if you can pickle them)
dont worry too much about getting better sprinklers if you can get a load of the ones you have
oh btw if you dont know, you still need to water day 1 if you tilled new soil. sprinklers only water between nights on tilled soil
I'll do that, then. I mainly fish anyways so I shouldn't really be worried about making a ton of sprinklers out of gold, when I'm only level 30 in the mines
right
I found that out on Day 1 of summer, and figured that's what would happen
i just regret forgetting about my fairy rose for my honey farm, heh. took 5 days into fall to plant it bc i kept forgetting.
I can make beehives but I haven't done that, nor have I heard of fairy roses
its a flower you can plant in fall that yields by far the most expensive honey when placed near a beehouse
anyway not the talk for here
Speedrunners can get to level 120 in the mines in 40-50 min and do it in like 3-4 ingame days i think. Level 80 for the gold could be done in 2 days I believe. Its nuts π
It is possible to have the quality sprinklers end of spring for more casual players too (I am mostly getting 10-15 levels per day and I can reach it every time now. There goes some planning into it, that for berry season you try to be high on foraging, so that you can get 2 berries per bush and that way I have a lot to eat (in those 3 days I had nearly 200 berries. There is different approaches of course. On my first farm I had my sprinklers in year 2, because my twitchchat told me. And those were the basic ones, because I did not even mine a lot in winterπ
(I would recommend something, that is also great for life. Get inspired by other people and their success and crazy stuff they do. Only compare yourself to yourself and celebrate your success. Also min max is one of many ways to play stardew. As long as you have fun and enjoy playing it is awesome.)
Yesss! I agree, I usually finished the mines within spring year 1 (that also depends on the luck cause I only go there it itβs golden pyramid just so itβs easy to find ladders & more stuff to pick axe).
Itβs fairly easy to level up in farming too! Just make sure to keep planting potatoes so you can save money for strawberry seeds. (Strawberry seeds are also amazing when it comes to levelling up)
you might have gone a little scarecrow happy there, at least for that pattern one should suffice i think, their range is pretty sizeable
eh, two should be enough after checking the planner
Anyway have any good house designs I need INSPIRATION!
Yeah, I am usually at about lvl 70-80 by day 6 end if I mine both the 5th and 6th, basic sprinklers aren't the best but going for a lot of quality is really useful.
I usually neve rgo past that for a while though unless I want the slammer as 80-90 are good enough for gold
How do I upload my farm to the planner
it is possible to move the house, I would like to move it a little but in the carpentry it does not let me
how did you get such a zoomed out image??
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
Not in the base game and I don't think there's a mod for it. There's a twitter post by CA that it might be available in 1.6. Currently it would require to edit the farm file.
ic, thanks
oh, thx
To be honest: If you just want to move it a little bit and don't know how to do it in tiled I would just leave it where it is. π
I think my mod broke π
Or you did it on purpose. π Jokes aside: You switched farms? π€
Any suggestion on my farm right now? (Spring Year 2) Im a bit conflicted on what i should do with the stump area and how the roads work on the bottom left should look
Year 2? thata incredible
im in year 4 rn and my farm doesnt look as good I think
also
place the 2 coops in the stomp srea
they fit good there
i gotta find a better placement for my barn and coop, so thats a great inspo pic
how many tiles are there for the farmable area in front of your house
i want to make it like that i got my hands on 6 iridium sprinklers
144
Forest farm has so little space for crops
ye idm really
it's the pretiest
also how many tiles you got from left to right
like the first row
nvm i'm gonna guess it's 10 since that's the length for 2 sprinklers
Its 2 iridium springkler so 10
Anyone have any good Riverland farm designs?
A rough draft for my layout on my current save lol, most grass and empry space will be decorations
I would get 2 coops and 2 barns, but one full barn is already a hassle to take care of lol, I play mobile
I tried to mix efficiency and aesthetics :3
It looks awesomeee, I like your crop area, that shape is amazing.
I think the switching of the farms might have done it. I accidentally booted it up without SMAPI one day and everything was messed up
As far as I remember there are additional steps to avoid that. On the other side: If it's only those 2 trees you might just leave them there. They don't look to bad to begin with. π€·ββοΈ
Still learning how to mod properly on mobile, might just leave it for now. Because I agree, they don't look that bad aha
I don't know about mobile but for pc one can do something with the savegame. Hence why I could just think about making sure that the farm is "cleaned up" properly before changing maps.
Is it just luck to find the ladders or can you find them a certain way?
mz farm looks sad and empz help
Maybe try improving your pathing, it will make it look all nice and balanced. And it's a great way to decore.
heres my farm in fall year 2 :)
damn im in year too and yea yall saw mine
how is the question
It looks so organized! That's awesome
thx!
youres looks great
I recommend scrolling up in this channel. There are a looot of beautiful farms layout here, so this is the right place.
alright
yea like i dont see many ppl use the berach farm
Try using the search tool, that will make things easier.
Look! Emmi shared a bunch a while ago.
this is so elpfull tysm
It was all Emmi
no idea where to put silos i need more stuff on my farm
i usually place it next to my shipping bin
beach farm is that big it looks weirdf when everything is squiched togetgerr i oulaxced it next to the barns i have
oh lol yea fair i havent touched the beach farm
my girlfriend and I's farm year 2 Summer
looks great!
nice
That's great! A lot of space to plant
You will probably need more sheds than that tho
the cabin is also being used as a shed
fully upgraded
top left shed is all preserve jars, the two next to each other are left: furnace/charcoal/crystalarium/recycler the right is kegs/mayonnaise/cheese press/oil maker
and the cabin is also preserve jars/kegs
Awesome, kegs are the best.
Iβm partial to mixing stepping stone and cobblestone
brick and stone walkway are great
you can get a nice looking checkerboard effect with straw and wood
i will try that out
is mixing path designs a good ida like using plank floor with other woods
Ah i bought the recipe like 20min ago lol
This is really pretty. I have never seen it before
what are things i genuenly should get for my farm i got massive space
I like to get quality sprinklers only
lmao
I also got a coop and silo in spring it was good
I'm loving this farm
i redesigned the house area a little (y2 winter)
I have a dumb question... How do you take a full picture of the farm like that??
If you're on pc go into settings and scroll down to the bottom. π
I feel so stupid for asking lmaoo
dont have to
The screenshots are saved in a folder next to your saves in AppData/...
Got it! Thank you! I'm gonna remember this for when I get home from work tonight!
or u can open the folder directly through sdv
Y'all are the best
I never noticed that. π€
<3
its next to the screenshot button
I'm still a little new to pc so this really helps!! Thank youuu
no problem
I thought that it was most likely just 1 pixel away and me being blind. π
XD haha
i never noticed the cc button in the inventory until 3 months ago so i need glasses
how do i fill the empty spaces π
Maybe try adding some bee houses and fish ponds?
Don't expect to fill everything now, it seems like you just started that save.
Give it time.
I only really used the "top half" of the map when I played it because "too huge" and put a "forest" / "hay area" in the lower part of the map.
The area between the small pond next to the sprinkler area and the ocean on the right I turned into "fish area" (having the fishponds "between" the crap pots).
While not being able to use sprinklers on sand: Can still do some flower fields. Yes, you've to water them for a couple of days but then they're done (unless you get help from the packages on the coast, although I would probably keep that for garden pots). π€
And as said above: Give it time. You're playing on the biggest farm to begin with. Just let it develop. Or you might also check google for some layouts for the farm for inspiration. π
60hours i focused on te cc money and tools
What you also could do: Move the greenhouse elsewhere and decorate the island. π€·ββοΈ
And maybe I should tell you something about the fence you build and the beach farm... π
You can walk around it (on the waterside) and your animals can do too. π
Question is where too put the greenhouse
You have a lot of space. π
I am aware that i can but the animals are to fat i thought
XD yea but where does it look good
No. Although it didn't happen that often, that they walked around the fence.
Maybe the coop more to the center and the Greenhouse together with some flowers or so in the area where the coop is below the "return point"?
Return point?
When you use a farm totem.
Yes.
You don't need the coop exactly next to the water to allow the ducks to swim. They can walk a few steps. π
π€ I think you've to many scarecrows.
Lmao
That sounds hilarious
I thought it just looks nocer at the beginning
XD
The animals ain't fat they're just good fed. π
Auto feed>
Or you do the greenhouse in the center. π€·ββοΈ
Not sure
As for the scarecrows: The "outer" ones should be enough if I remember correctly. Maybe check it with planner (unless you want to go for a mod).
https://stardew.info/planner/ <<-- You can select the beach farm and enable "range highlight" for scarecrows and other things.
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
Thank you so much!
I wasn't 100% sure but I was 99% sure that I only had them on the "outer area" and not in the field. There's a mod showing the range of scarecrows etc in the game which makes that a bit easier.
gi farm house
Nice. π
Oh I love how you put those tables in the kitchen and created a great division

Maybe a small one. Or another plant in front of the "wall" between bedroom and kitchen? π€
You could place some of those little green chairs to make it look like one of those breakfast table
wdym?
Uhm
?
I don't know if my English is good enough to explain my idean
I don't know if that would fit. I think it's only 1 space between the table and the wall. π€
YEAH! like that
Just in the outside
Like you placed it there
Oh. On that table it would work.
I guess this works
Another one next to that one and that's it
I was thinking about the left one.
Put two chairs
I would remove that big red rug
the floor looks so empty without it
And put that little baige rug
Underneath the chairs
And also put a smaller plant next to that big one
I agree with the rug: That one seems a bit to huge for the small area.
Upper logs or stunps below wich look better?
try upper stump upper
All of them? π
I think the wood rug looks cool
Jokes aside: The upper ones will make a good fence for the coop if you want to keep it there I think. π
nods
ooh this looks really cozy!
nearlyt just deleted my scepter while deleting the left over chairs and stuff π
scared myself
thank you
Better put away important stuff before decorating. π
I usually use an empty hotbar
I don't decorate a lot but there's a chest in front of the house for safety. π
I think the farmhouse is done for now
So shall i use tall ones or the small ones?
tall small tall small tall
try that pattern
I wanna seeh ow it looks
wait I think I have some in a chest
I moved them
The coop is more centered
No fear: You'll change your farm another 500 times anyway. π€·ββοΈ
Ima use the small ones they look more conected now that i look at it
Just maybe a recommendation as you're still sort of "early" game: Keep an eye on the resources you use to decorate. You'll need wood etc for other things too. π
I got iridium axe so getting wood wont be a real problem
That's btw why I would turn the "unused" area in the south into a forest for now: You can grow lots of wood and hardwood there.
Yes, but it has to grow first. π
which? near sewer?
And being short for a coop upgrade (or whatever) because of decoration is "a tiny bit of a pain" to be honest. π
No. On his farm.
oooh
Right
He's on the beach farm. π
Yeei, add a smaller plant next to that big one and you are done.
My first load of fruit wine is done its inly seven but still
And it will take a while before he's going to decorate the south of the farm. Hence why I would use it for wood / hardwood production for now. π€·ββοΈ
How do i transition pathes
More reason for trees. π
I have the checkboard pattern one
"Transition"? π€
Wich is 3 blocks wide
Oh. From 3 to 1 or so?
Yea i want to make it not 3tiles wide anymore towards the souths
Good question. π€
Maybe like this if the trees will grow
You donβt need to put spaces for them to grow..
They grow when they grow, put tree fertilizer and wait
wait what
Unless you prefer them with an extra space. π€·ββοΈ
i thought u have to leave 2 tiles between
Nope, only fruit trees
Path etc also don't disturb growing regular ones.
Just the fruit ones are a bit "picky".
Yeah, regular trees can grow anywhere
damnn ima fix that tmrw i am off of sdv for today
You can place paths around fruit trees after theyβve grown, but beforehand, they need that extra space around
The only thing that doesn't work: tree next to tree without a field between them. π
π€ Is it actually 2 fields for fruit trees or 1 as it says "8 tiles surrounding" and not more?
since the full grown fruit tree is a 3x3
Ok. Just wanted to make sure. Although I think you can't plant the fruit trees to begin with if there's not enough space.
it influences the other i think
@haughty haven Yes, but I was thinking about sharing 3 empty tiles between 2 fruit trees.
For fruit trees you need a 2 tiles open to plant them in a row , for regular you donβt need any gap
mass tree production incoming
and hardwood trees?
Ok. Thanks for clearing up my confusion. π
Hardwood trees = regular trees
alright
Yep
i am soon to finish the willy boat so i can exploe gi
And yes: As you've so much space you might actually plant some fruit trees outdoors too. π€
OOHH, Have Fun!!!!
i need 80 more hardwood i think
Oof
i dunno if i should do that today or not since i have been playing sdv for like 3h now
Go to the hidden forest area to get 12 hardwood everyday
Lmao, I usually play for like 8 hours π
i mean choping the hardwood forest 12 every day sjip thrtough was my plan
i do that w other games
i looked at the clock it was 5h damn
If you have tree fertilizer: plant all the seeds for mahaghony you have and be done in around 1 week (might be a day or two longer).
i havbe like 6 planting atm
That is smart, I wish I had that idea when I was repairing the boat..
Oh well, too late
That's 60 hardwood if I remember correctly. Don't cut all of them down. Let them "throw around" seeds. In winter you've the advantage that they don't grow and can just collect them to place them where you want.
I NEED 28 hardwood omg
SOoooooOo close!
trees do grow
<3 @gloomy pine
Ok Picasso, I like it π
Lmfao
ty
But not without fertilizer in winter. What makes it easier to collect the seeds in winter. In the other seasons the seed might already be a seedling within a short time and you can no longer collect the seedling while in winter you've time till the end of the season. π
They can grow in winter I think
Nice.
@frosty meadow Not without fertilizer.
Oh,
F
So shall farm tree fertilizer?
@haughty haven You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels and share images in all channels!
I thought i got a warning for a second
Lmao
For all the trees you want to grow right away (i.e. mahaghony) use fertilizer.
For the other trees: If you have enough resources use fertilizer on those too.
So should i wait for mahogany to spread seeds or chop it down
Idk, if your desperate for the boat then just chop it down
For the possible forest at the south end of your farm: That's less of a priority in regards to fertilizer and depends on your ressources.
Depends on how fast you need the hardwood. If you're not in a hurry I would chop down 4 (they give seeds too) and let 2 "spread" till end of winter or so.
I mean, you only have 28 hardwood left
Yay
I placed some early winter to get it wich are now in the wah of a path woch im gonna chop
I'm not talking about planting hardwood on the entire farm, but like 10 to 20 are a good "stock" in case you need hardwood (that's around 100-200 or so).
Because there are still things left for which you'll need a fair amount of hardwood (and some decorations / fences / paths require it too).
You might also grow a few oaks with fertilizer for resin (kegs).
And the max farm house
Hardwood fences <3
As much as I dislike the huge size of the beach farm: Any sort of wood was never an issue. π
When you get to gi thereβs a lot of hardwood trees
i forgot to check up on my greenhouse it looks beatiful sincethe trees have gown
You should add the trees in a mixed way
Gives it a natural look
And more variety of plants
I would actually move a few of the trees outside. Gives a bit of space for decorating the greenhouse. π€
i planted the first side where lots of pomegrenate are profit orienteds and then i thought eh it looks shit
It looks good though
The trees are decoration πΉ
I meant the area at the windows. π
Oh yeah, I added butterfly hutches for a magical effect
And money hehe
Leave them there for now as you still need money.
Yes
And you maybe want to wait with tree reorganizing in the warehouse for now anyway as you've not been to the island yet.
Warehouse?
I have a very important question: Why do cactus, pineapple and starfruits have the seeds on their signs and not the product? π
Greenhouse. π€¦ββοΈ
Ah
Lmao, I accidentally pressed on the other signs with the tools and it messed up the sign so I put the product on it. The signs are really unorganized
and made 20k
I play on switch so everything is difficult and easy
πππ
my brother has it for switch
from 13 ancient fruit
It will get better when you've more kegs. π
Get a bunch of pigs, with a level up that I got every forage item is iridium grade. The truffles you get will make you lots of money since they will be iridium grade
Maybe get another barn full of pigs and pet them everyday
They have no food. π
I make 120,000 from pigs
They are starving. π
its winter and i am on max friendship with em i think
That doesn't mean you can't feed them. π¦
marny is pricy and i am 2 lazy to down to em
nm they hate me
Oh please itβs only 50 cents
mr cheapskate
50 coins, my bad
Of course they do. Although I've no idea how much hearts might go down. π€
my 5stars went down by half a heart
I once forgot the heater before winter 2. I never forgot it again. π¦
maybe i dont pet them enough during winter
i dont have a heater
oof
I think it was half a heart for "no heater" too and it recoverd after they got one and they were back to iridium quality 2 days later or so.
If you think hat is pricy, just wait for the heaterβs cost
lol
Eh
@haughty haven Jokes aside: Get one. You want them happy at the start of spring.
I find heaters weird, a big barn canβt be heated by a small heater
big heat= big barn
This heater is probably blessed by the wizard in the game or something
We will never know π€·ββοΈ
oh and i have some truffle oilk thingys
I think the oil is less money
I have actually 2 in my coop and 2 in the barn. Although the reason is: I get a third one from the bundle after I have 2 (I don't finish Marnie's bundle early enough) and for fair play I get a 4th. π€·ββοΈ
i dont think so
Oil is less if the truffle is iridium grade
1.2k for the iridium truffle, 1.4k for the oil.
i only need foraging 10
Oh
then i have everything max
My bad
If you don't have artisan it's a little bit over 1k for the oil.
wait i have gatherer can that get me thge iridium forage tzhing
@frosty meadow Do you need money or are min / max player? Otherwise: It doesn't matter that much.
Wdym a min/max player
tryna max out everything i. e. money
I think
I already maxed everything
Then +/- a few hundred gold probably don't matter.
Boat time
The reason i came back to sdv suprises me
Congrats: You just finished the tutorial. π
Yay man in tired if big empty space
XD
Unless you went with Joja. π
No
π
Me either
does farm design also include house design?
I think so
canβt rn, still trying to dΓ©cor the upper rooms
Ah, do you have the furniture catalog?
It makes things easier
If you donβt have ideas then go to Pinterest
Thatβs where I get my inspiration
This channel is mainly for sharing farm layouts and farm designs. I'd recommend asking at #stardew-valley or #stardew-spoilers
No worries
why isnt there a house interior design channel?
This channel is for any decoration or designs from anywhere in the game. If it's a gameplay screenshot it goes in seasoned or new farmers.
What do y'all think?
which year are you on?
16 but i skipped a bunch
Looks barren ngl.
i mean middle is all crops bottom is gonna be trees and thats about it
I like how organize your crops area is. However I think that barn and sheds are at the top looks kinda crowded.
where should i put them?
I think the area is fine I would just try to space things better.
You could maybe try making a better path
its a 3 wide path through there so not too bad
fall has fallen! extremely proud of this save, fall year 1, 229k total earnings, and about 60/70% done the community center. any thoughts? also, what should i do with the space below grandpa's shrine?
i plan to put a line of tapped trees below the two joint plots of beet and cranberry.
It looks really pretty so far! U doing great
tysm!!
I don't really have much to tell you, if you like symmetry I would recommend making a better pathing. So it ends up being like straight.
And I would add some fish ponds perhaps
And sheds, since they are so useful.
i don't mind asymmetry, but the fish ponds and sheds are a great idea! tysm!
Your welcome c:
That looks really pretty! You could also add a little garden around Grandpa's Shrine, with some grass and statues and the like, if you want to go a more decorative route -- although fish ponds and sheds are super useful!
the path above being blocked slightly from view is off-putting to say the least but it's pretty barren otherwise
and why still blueberries
This is my farm so far
ig this might go here
I am finally starting to fill coops
I have 9 coops only filled but have the crystalariums ready for another 8 or so, this layout fits 63 with all the needed machines and I think it is the max
I am just waiting on the coops to be ready, I have decided to leave some "breeding coops" and leave others just to be built, I will worry abotu the chickens after as it is way easier then
THIS IS YOUR YEAR 16??!
looks great peachy, good work

Oof, year 16 looking and your farm looks empty, try to put decorations and cute little spots, put grass and organize trees to make it look natural and nice. Also, your buildings are too close together.
i made a lil tea room in my house :"O
That's SO CUTE
thank you :"O i put in so much thought and im really proud :D
How are you gonna harvest the lower two rows tho? o:
or are they just for decor haha
just decor ^^ i already have a whole section outside with tea trees that junimos collect for me :D
Ah alright, makes sense heh
i have one corner of the four corners. any recommendations?
. .. ... What do you have in that corner?
just my house and some crops at the momentβwe just started. itβs the top left corner, with grandpaβs shrine
You can make a lil garden , or put a lot of sheds
i might work towards animals bc i dont have much space at all
and animals can make a lot of money
So do you have no barns?
Then do some barns and coops
yep
if you're tryna get rich, dont forget that you can build a lot of kegs in your upgraded farms ^^ it saves a lot of space
yeah i could save up for sheds! though idk if iβll have much room for crops π
I'm getting a new phone soon so I thought I would show my year 3 farm I won't have it when I switch phones because I play on mobile π. I'm getting one of the obelisk but I'm just waiting for a single cactus fruit
I like the entrance to your farmhouse! Such a good idea
I might try to do that in next save
And good luck with your next save on your new mobile! I didn't know you guys lose all progress if you change phones, that sounds awful
Thsnk you! I'm not 100% sure but I have a feeling that if I switch to Apple (I have an Android currently) that I might lose it
. This gives me a good opportunity to work on my PC farms
Let's hope you can still keep your farm.

nah im sure you can transfer saves
you can transfer saves from mobile to pc
so i dont see why you cant transfer it from apple to android
just as long as the save is corresponding with the version you have ig
OH! I'll try to do that!
The game saves progress when the in-game day ends, i.e., when the farmer goes to bed, collapses from exhaustion, or collapses at 2am. All progress during a day is lost if the player quits the game without ending the day. In multiplayer, the game saves after all players click through the prompts at end of day and wake up in the morning.
try this then take the save and put it somewhere safe
hopefully it'll work
looking good for first of summer, y1?
Looks great!
faster than I was
, but I actually intended to not have a coop from the start, because ... I find it tiring to pat your animals everyday or to collect their produce everyday, when you haven't got the autopatter/-collecter yet
Same, I am so lazy that I don't get animals until my barns/coops are fully upgraded with all they need.
got minecarts by the 20th of spring btw which im very glad for
tbh its been just watching the hell out of stardew players and learning the strategies to get a quick start
and yes i am walter white. of course i am
This is nice
Thank you. It is an old pic tho, currently is already complete. I need to take a new SS.
IT WORKED thank you so much!
now hopefully the transfer back to mobile will work, good luck
it begins
how does this look?
Looking nice
I like that bedroom, looks cute
thanks
summer 23 year one, is this good progress?
Yeah, u are doing great.
Yea your doing great :D
Aw hell nah
You mean year 2/3?
oh my god id cry
Lol
uuuuhhhhhhh
Better than any deco i made
wowowowowowo WHAT!? How
What mod its that? Looks great that house
This channel is mainly for sharing farm layouts, designs and stuff related to that. I recommend going to #stardew-valley or #stardew-spoilers if you are looking to chat.
It looks so cozy, I like it

redesigned farmhouse layout <3
Where do you get the Moon and Stars wall decals? They looks super cute and fit the aesthetic for my main farm profile. :)
Well, i would remove it
let's open it
Keep it, it's out of the way
maybe I will find some purple furniture to decorate around it
it looks like two horns
in my coop xD
Where can i send images?
Yes! Maybe Iridium Krobus and Purple Serpent
You will be able in all channels once you get lvl 5 in the server. Meanwhile you can send them at #images-and-memes
Yes the serpent will look cool in my island!! I like this idea <3
Aight thx
I had 6 meteor's land on my OG farm and had to destroy them all since they ended up in horrid spots
I hope one lands on the top of my mountain it will look awesome
6 meteors?
this is my first one
you have so much luck
Well all bad luck there since I destroyed them all lol
On new mod save I just went to the Dwarf in Highlands and bought a meteor from them for 30K
yes
that is amazing
it must be a new thing
sve is so good!
I will try to find the dwarf now
@craggy spindle
I had forgotten how pretty your farm is, Eli
now i am jealous again
Thanks and don't be jelly; I'm sure your farm is fabulous.
Not yet
but it will be, i promise
I downloaded IdaIda's furniture recolor and redecorated a bit, I'm loving how it's turning out!
It looks cozy. I love the color palette you are going for
Thank you!! :)
i had never used pinterest, i really like it
thnks
NP, if you need help I can always help you.
What mod are you using to get that type of farm?
I believe some of them are "Grandpa's Farm" from SVE, "Gwen's Medieval buildings", "Simple foliage", "Gwen's Paths" and "Earthy recolour"
Ok thx!
oh wow, i love that area near the mill
So cute
do you use any mods?
yeah
these are pretty much the mods for the visual
oh cool! and what farm layout is that sorry im kinda new to the game
Grandpa's Farm from Stardew Valley Extended
ohhh ok thanks
Excellent farm, my fav
thoughts?
I like the vibe
I would remove the window behind the lamp tho
This is amazing Eli! actually your farm is amazing <3
Maybe add a touch of red to contrast the green vibe. You could replace one of the plants on the bottom with this one
blurry
decided to rearrange so the light from the windows actually hits the plants
There is a button in the settings that leads you to it. Scroll down.
i mean the one from steam
Ohh
That's such a cute bedroom! I hope you're enjoying the mod
ty! The mod's great
It meshes super well with the rest of the reshades and stuff I've got going on, without deviating too far from the vanilla sdv look!
that's awesome ^^ love it when styles go together well
I saw an idea in placing seasonal plants in the middle of the path 3 tiles apart, and I want to ask for opinions
Like do I continue this or nah
You should for sure continue doing it
It looks beautiful
Definitely going to keep that in mind for my next save if you don't mind
Thank you! I actually got this idea from a mod showcase and wanted to try it XD
wait i should rephrase it
That's awesome
That's 2 tiles, right?
Or is it 3
May I ask for a closer ss?
There is only so much I can zoom
Alr, wait for around 11mins my game take so long to load
Oh, sorry to bother you with the screenshot
Nah It's fine, I was gonna play anyways
Awesome
I imagine you'd have to be careful to not use trellis crops, else you'd probably keep bumping into them as you go XD
Or at least, I probably would
Here ya go
Oh dear I have not thought about that ;-;
Looks good. What visual mods are you using for the plants and grass besides Spritemaster?
Thank youuu
Its foliage redone, medieval craftables, fence and lamps, better crops and foraging, and industrial furniture set (Idk where the plants came from)
Cool thxs
you have to "host" a farm
for that you have to click on "Multiplayer" in the main menu. Then click on what you wanna do: "join" or "host". The farm you want to play on, needs to be the "host" and the one who wants to join, just needs to click on "join". If you join you may have to type in a adress or sth. That adress can be found in the textchannel from your hostfarm by either pressing the "T"-key or looking for popups in you Textchat in the down left corner of the game
My sixth year, any recommendation.
A casual blue will look good
Lava eel pond does look good tho
Your farm gives a red ish vibe
Thank you, I'll have it in mind
I can recommend those fish:
- lava eel (you already have that one I guess :P and has the most expensive roe)
- super cucumber (they produce iridium and Amethyst from time to time)
- ice pip (they make good money and have good drops like Diamonds, ice geodes, tears and iron)
--> if you have this fish, you won't need the stone fish, although that would be a good choice as well! - lionfish (for tiger slime eggs (worth 8k))
- squid (for the ink)
- blobfish (expensive roe and drops pearls from time to time)
- stingray (for the dragon teeth, those weird mushrooms, batteries and some nice shards)
- Spookfish (you can get a treasure chest)
- rainbow trout (rarely drops Prismatic shards and Rainbow shells)
and if you want some colours:
- lava eel = red
- Slimejack = green
- super cucumber = light purple / dark blueish
- void salmon = (dark) purple
and yes there is no sturgeon because he just has no drops except for his roe. still his roe just is the 3rd most expensive (after Lava eel and ice pip) and it doesn't produce as fast as the super cucumber roe (310-434g), which comes like nearly every day
Good, thanks you !
people who have a little garden-ish something in front of their house and want to show it?
need inspiration lol
does anyone have any ideas for what to put in the green areas?
You could put fishtanks in one of them. π€
@rapid coral I love that idea for the decorations! Also could you please tell me what filter you used on your screenshot to make it look so painterly? I like the effect π
Well, I have not used any filter BUT I use Natural color reshade, then ss in the late afternoon (around 6-7pm)
