lol, i probs got it from the stardew reddit or this discord a while ago XD
that is quite a good one
Here's my farm in fall with all the fall crops planted and ready to go
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/499500188373876736/964494291982499840/unknown.png
I have achived Perfection
Why you dont try to make something prettier bc i think you got all the things that are rlly expensive
302.5hrs in year 5 winter
I like having an organised farm 🙂
Kk
1200 damn
trying this new farm i downloaded, Rolling Hills Farm.
yeah, I have a total of 1429 hours right now
pretty!
DaisyNiko's farms are just
That's so big 👀
it's actually not. it just looks like it.
My house currently 😄
Not completely happy with it (for example the dining room) but other than that, i am pretty happy
this good path design or somethin?
I would say either go full rock (and crystal) or stick with just wood 🙂
ight addin crystal path
My farm in the evening
neat
pretty ❤️
planning to add third fish pond in bottom left
Looks nice
looks cool
W
my storage shed
Year 9?
I've got to 5th in couple of days
Omg the bone mills withe the different fertilisers
You could use shadow sign
nooo i dont like how they look
Fair
the wooden ones go well with the flooring
pain
(Gonna post here too just in case!)
Does anyone have an NPC walking path picture for the train station that ISNT blurry? Or a layout for kegs that you use up there? All I see on Google is tree layouts and the wiki has a picture for pathway but it’s blurry as hell.
pretty!
hell yeah! thats my main save farm too
I choked when I saw that
That’s is Breathtaking
That’s beautiful
in a good way or....
Yes in a good way
y10 summer farm
y3 spring hilltop farm :)
(the wood floor next to my house is where im planning on putting the horse)
ooh thats cool
Thank you
That looks so nice!
Did you play for entire in game days, or skip partially through the day by sleeping?
Because anyone could skip up to a high # year just by spam sleeping if they wanted
If you actually play thoroughly each day, it’s gonna take you much longer to get to higher years
Entirely in-game days
My current save has like 120+ hours on it I think, and I’m on year 6
How many irl days did it take you to get to year 5?
A couple? Aka… 2 or so?
I usually finish 1 month in like,5-6 hours but if i really feel like playing,i can try to do two months
In one day
Can't really answer since i didn't really count
Then it took you way more then a couple days to get to year 5 lol
I have 176 hours though
That’s a bit more then a couple days
Probably because I didn't play that much a day
That’s closer to a full week of nonstop playing
And if you had other stuff going on, and you weren’t playing sdv for 24 hours each day, then probably closer to a few months
Mostly decorating
I installed a time stop mod just to use while decorating so I didn't feel rushed lol
Too grindy even for me, especially ||Qi quests||
Those are fun imo
But ig play the game how you like 👍
100 of everything everywhere in a week is 🥶 for me
Though, it's probably because I'm playing on default farm
[ keg spreading ]
this disgusts me
To much keg no ? I mean you can empty keg in townhouse and quarry why go this far ?
what should I put in the middle space? greenhouse or slime hutch? or something else? I don't know xD
Slime hutch isn't worth it
Unless you just like looking at slimes, it makes shit money
I know but I reached perfection on this file so it's basically all about decoration
Ahhhhhh well it's a good space for that, or you could put a few sheds there for decorating the interiors of
Like a cafe, you could have a cafe outdoors and indoors there
oohhh that's a good idea. I have a few sheds elsewhere already
Tea farming it’s tots worth it.
They already got perfection so money isn't a big concern for them
I'll try slime hutch and see how it looks, if it's not good I'll try the shed idea!
I meant as low key tea empire.
I may make an area based on that aswell. I'm on beach farm so can't do crops. Lots of space to decorate haha
Hey does anyone mind helping me figure out where I can place saplings in this area? I know they're supposed to be eight tiles apart I believe or the tiles around it need to be empty but it still is a little confusing for me
it's the 8 tiles around it that need to be empty
so as long as you have 1 or 2 tiles between the river and sapling, and the surrounding tiles of the sapling are empty, it should grow
yay
Ok thanks!
year 3 progress
That’ll look so cool
You can never have enough kegs
I like wut u did in the mining spot with the ponds
but the over use of flooring in the animals area and the rest is rly killing the looks
plus u have to source the grass urself
Anyone has any cool Grandpa's Farm 2 design? From sve
There's so much space I don't know what to do with it
Nicee
Do the Junimo make the wine?
On their own
any 8 green tiles are fine! don’t plant them too close to the cliff edge especially if one of the tiles is in the shade
This is my farm
The bottom barn has pigs
theres a thing called ||Shed|| just saying
I had too much space lol
you buy the recipe in robins
Oh ok thanks
Keg-infection
I mean, it’s good having some of everything
Might be me but it looks like trollface
It’s not you
Troll-pond
Yeah I mean, good for some people 😛 some people don't care about having everything and some do. I personally have one of everything except the slime hutch since it takes a lot of space.
Maybe if you’re very advanced in the game, but for relatively new players, it’s exceptional to try out every mechanic and learn the game.
I agree with you there, sometimes it’s not worth it having a relatively quote on quote “useless” building to take up space on your farm, but at least once, right? 😂
Yeah guess so 😛 I didn't build a slime hutch for literally 5 years of playing this game and when I did I really did not enjoy it and just tore it down after a year LOL but it is good for people to discover it for themselves.
A work in progress, Intend on having some sheds for production and storage.
Bottom Left - Tree's
Top Left - Animals
Middle - Production and Storage
Left - All crops
Year 1 winter
Ah cute!
I once had a hilltop planner and I used the bottom right space as beehouse area :3
you dont need that many scarecrows
@regal ivy You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels and share images in all channels!
W
This is a personal preference of mine, but I'd suggest either less pathing, or mix it up with different types. I'd also make your crops bigger with iridium sprinklers, move your tapper trees off of the farm to make some more room, and move your barns/coops there so that the animals have more space. You could also move your greenhouse next to your house and put crops up there. All in all just a bit of tidying me thinks!
I'm starting a new farm soon, and I always design my farms before even starting the save file because I like knowing what I'm going to do way ahead of time. Thoughts?
Some of the things are stand-in for items that aren't available on the sdv planner
I've never used the planner before, are the light brown tiles wood pathing?
Yeah! It's my favorite path 😊
e-e
If it's your favourite I won't dissuade you from it, but it is a bit much lol
I think moving your barns to the areas with more grass would be better, more space = more truffles = more moohlah
With that much pathing you just have a lot of unused space
I usually go through about three different plans before settling on one
I've never used junimo huts before so my main goal with this one was just to make a plan that incorporated them
junimo huts are the best :D
I just feel like they're hard to fit in some spaces
I didn't realize how big the range of them was until I went to do this lol
like my farm isn't standard, you'd have more room, but you can see how I utilise the space more efficiently, while also having a ton of pathing/decorations
Omg that's so good 😲
I've never been the best at decor tbh
Especially in games where you can't always center things
the building in the bottom right is the slime hutch
okay thanks for the tips!
Ohhh I didn't even recognize it!
Really good aesthetic mod
not satisfied with it yet but im liking it :D i need more furniture options with different colours.
also i dont have an addiction to pot plants go away
i literally do not blame you
they just look so good 😭
just fits everywhere i get it
empty corner? oh just chuck a plant in it all good
Very pretty!
whenever I look in this channel it reminds me of how messy my farm is
don't worry my farm is very messy too lol
1/4 of my farm is just trees I didn't even plant
overgood
@slow crypt i like your farm

its a mess
Came out gorgeous ❤️ great job
thanks
Wow!
yup we working together
im playing with @dense dew
You guys did wonderful!
tysm
thx
This is mine so far
Nice!
nice
Ty :)
we're hoping to get 4 candles for grandpas shrine
oh my goood the flower patch though
super pretty
Thank you!
I love all the farms that I have seen
is this the Victorian building mod?
Nope! Gwen's medieval!
ah i see i opened in browser and can see the difference now. it looks really nice ive been debating getting a retexture
There are a ton of great ones!
What farm is that? Forest?
Yes
Thanks
feedback welcome - im focusing on crops 🙂
that symmetry is satisfying
Wine Shed
80 something kegs
I think it looks unique. It just misses grass and trees, since it's so yellow.
Yeah it def needs more grass
:)
Nice
Boiler room is next easiest
Then vault
Currently working on boiler
hardest part for me is the slimes :c
I recommend trying to go deeper in the mines and getting the solar or void essence because you need to reach deeper levels to finish the boiler room anyway
Re-designed farm y5
Nb I like it
anyone got any ideas what I could do for the visitors space at the bottom left?
Do you have the golden clock?
yea
thats actually pretty decent
where do i go to ask for help?
I'd ask for help in #stardew-valley
ok
What is it called?
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
it's got some limitations, but it's a useful tool
I like your drawing though
I made sure bluebeary had a friend to watch tv with now that Seb lives here
Ty
Cool fish tank
farm update
think its from SVE
everyones farms are looking so pretty!
went from this to this
you should make a path to the ponds so you dont have difficulty through the trees
Hi guys, any chance if any of u guys still have the full HD source image of the Namsai beach farmfrom this post ? https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/comments/obnbrx/namsais_farm_no_mods/
472 votes and 34 comments so far on Reddit
is it what you want
yeha thats the right one as i remmber ,thks alot manXD
I got a question is the sheds for decoration or for a purpose never been able to figure it out.
by purpose I mean like storage an etc.
use it the way you like it. I have a working shed, a storage shed and a decorative shed
Thank you
but I think it was meant for storage and stuff
Why your coops and barns arent upgraded
Yeah on year 12 we all would expected to be fully upgraded
Its kinda sus 😂
hmm, nobody ask but i wanna share how you do the ingame speedrun while still making your farm looks colorful and having all the decoration stuff on it, 4 images = 4 year timelapse 100% completion
year 2
@silent vigil bcs more time im crafting ores, but dont worry i do it ASAP
what’s that farm map?
Immersive Farm 2
this farm design reminds me of an animal crossing farm for some reason
In 12 years you did not find time lol
Please don't be rude @silent vigil
immersive farm 2 remastered
🙂
.
Omg love ❤️
My farm in winter time! Only thing missing is the blobfish I need from the Night Market, and the 3 giant crops to decorate over by grandpa's shrine
I just realised how weird the banana trees look mixed in with the other trees, lol
What year?
year 9
I have essentially completed everything, just collecting items now lol
I have played a total of 1,449 hours, but on this specific farm I probably played 1,000 or so hours
This is what the farm looked like last year
I need some help with a spot
yeh?
Grass
Maybe some crystal path, lightning rods, solar panels, or grass
here was my farm in year six
I don't like grass cuz it doesn't last the year
its gone through a couple of changes lol
you could plant Fiber seeds there, they stay all year and kinda look like grass
lightning rods or solar panels are a good go-to then
hard to put anything practical in such a small spot honestly
I need something here
could you show the whole farm?
Nice!
kitchen
Nice
difficult choice for sure
looks good!
ty 🙏
does anyone know if pigs still dig up truffles on this type of grass
im pretty sure they do
okay thanks
if you play on pc there's a winter grass mod that allows grass to stay around all year
It's a wip
I'm vanilla
me too :3 i play modless as well
thoughts?
looks nice
ahh, that's fine as well. mods aren't for everyone. I've never been a mod kind of person myself, but it's something I'm starting to look into. either way, that's fair enough :)
the only time I wanted a mod was because I sold a legendary fish
also that's a great farm
my house spring year 3, any comments or suggestions?
True it has alot of space
90% of it useless cuz u cant put sprinkles on sAaNd
managed till Y2 then I got tired of watering everything and retired
also I dont get why peeps demolish every single tree on the map
eeeeh good for animals I guess
Ye
my old farm
Nice
I would play on it again but i'm a serial restarter and idk I just want to do a slightly different layout too I think
Ye
I love it
level 100!
ooh nice
next time just remember to send it in #images-and-memes instead ^^;;
oh i didnt see that channel will do next time!
This little cave gives me unmeasurable happiness
Does anybody have a farm layout i could use? something aesthetic but functional for money making
plenty of youtube videos bro
Mine is the 19
Mine is the 19th
YOU CAN DECORATE THE CAVE??????
OH IM GONNA DO THAT RIGHT NOW
Yess!! I just realized too!
TY
that is absolutely adorably
adorable
yes scroll up to my post yesterday, or search my name it will come up XD
My chicken coop is my everything rn
i love how they have their own island
i mean its riverland farm alot of things are gonna be on there own islands
i haven't played with that farm before, so might try it out
looks great! I love using that path
Ooo I love that
whats most optimal way to place beehouses
don't think there is an optimal way, place them however you think it looks good. maybe with flowers between them to change the type of honey
I'm not sure how much this helps you but this is a guide I'll be using when I start looking into beehive placement
It's pretty expensive though
pretty expensive on space as well
damn 4k woods
too expensive to me
880 coal
What map?
Yeah it's a lot
But I like to set myself big goals
i barely have enough coal for bars
i wish i never made preserve jars
keg supremacy
actually jars for caviar
but thats it
hiiii have anyone some cozy layouts for the standard farm?
What I have set up so far for my riverland farm
I didn't realized I could make this space so beautiful 😮
So cute TuT
I meant this, I love it
Riverland is so pretty to design, I need to get over my aversion to it profits wise and just work on making a really pretty one
standard
Looks really pretty too :3
Kind of hard not to harvest the flowers though
Oohhhh it really does!
I'm thinking about doing mine on ginger island, that way I can keep the flowers there instead of having to change them monthly
Have you see this layout that Sicarious did?
He's got the whole left side beehived up but with room for the horse
I think there's a more optimal way if you don't care about the horse but yeah
Yeah xD but very optimal for sure, make a crapload of money with this setup
He had 2 gold clocks by the end of year 2
Also this is the optimal amount of hives for 1 flower
How would you water it? I think that would be my only problem with that one
You would have to put an iridium spinkler in one of the inner corners or use a gold or better watering can
Also if you are facing up or down (on PC only I think) you can select a tile next to you to water
So you could do it with a copper can on PC
Unfortunatly I'm limited to switch
I do actually like this one though, the flower being in the middle making it so you can't accidently pick it is a good idea
how would you even harvest the middle hives without picking the flowers?
It's tricky but not impossible
Do it in the morning so you can restart the day because you're gonna pick them for sure
Hio
@worthy grove
Ty
yw
Can I get some honest feedback on how my farm looks. I have no idea how to decorate and what to add
finally decorated my house. hopefully the quality of the picture isn't too horrible to see lol
my year 1 WIP
I don’t have many ideas bc I play on riverland, but you could maybe put the mill between the coops and barns in that empty space and make a cute path around it with flowers and beehives on the other sides of the path.
Went back to my Tiny Garden. But this time with Earthy instead of VPR and colourful grass :3
Oooo I didn’t think of putting the mill there. I was going to put the golden clock but I like you idea of the flowers and beehives there !!! Thanks
Ohh, the golden clock would be good too. Yw ☺️
What mod are you using for the warp obelisks?
Gwen's medieval buildings.
Sweet, thank you!
Gorgeous! What mods do you have for the grass and buildings?
Still medieval buildings for the buildings :D
And More Grass plus all its packs
Thank you!! Looks great
Can someone help me find a EXTREMELY aesthetically pleasing layout for standard farm?
It is indeed pretty nice!
Thank you!
shed👍
woah
I'm a rancher so I stock my stuff and this is during winter.
👍
love the mushrooms!
What's the system there? I absolutely love this! So visually pleasing lol. But the organizer in me needs MORE DETAILS lol
Looooooove the recolor!!!!!!
Ty! It was my first full playthrough with mods
I did hilltop as my first legit farm last save. It was a lot of fun!
I like the set up
Those signs?
yeah they're dark signs
Hows my childs bedroom looking?
The wallpaper will make sence later I just havent finished the rest of my house
ty
it definitely is cozy :)
it could use some more props along the bottom though
i'd usually put some sofas or drawers there
i love how there's isn't an "empty space" either
adds to the snugness of it
ty I really focused on the walls
dont ask me how I got all of the decals
im thinking abt starting a beach farm for the first time, any tips?
this would be better asked in #stardew-valley or #stardew-spoilers
oh okay
I may have married penny and divorced her just for the decals.
no comment >:(
damn, the farm is ok but the devotion is really cool to see, I have about 220 hours in my crret late game save and I'm just working on challenges and money tbh
though both and the same really
In preperation for Spring I rearranged most of my things, its still definitely a W.I.P
Winter Yr 1
looks poggers
lol, thank you! I have actually spent only almost 500 hours in-game on that farm but I have spent another 500 hours doing research and planning for that specific farm. It's a disease sometimes XD
@eternal oracle This is what its looking like atm (before the meteorite crushed one of my Cherry tree's on the left)
Since you think my farm is ok, what would improve it? I like having everything in order and neat, and be quite productive
How did you get the wall moon?
i think it's from Penny's heart event
The 14th heart event?
yeh, if you choose the correct one.
Ok thanks
np
You can try adding some stone path and grass to give the farm more of a lively look
Where is the head and the tail of the sloth skeleton?
pretty!
Excuse the poor quality but I've finally been working on some decor, my farm is very much in the works so it's looking pretty bare for now. I used pictures I found on google for inspiration
Didn't find it yet
😅
👉 👈
Извините, я хикикомори...
I hope you won't insult me... I just want to share my farm with someone... It's carambola and melon fields. I have 5 years. This is fine? (translated by google :p)
XD
yes, it's fine, don't worry!
<з
Thank you :3
Oooh
yeah i got it from the 14 heart event
Ok thanks
amazing. I like the fish painting
thanks i was really excited when i found it at the night market
ight noted, always check the painting at night market and hope for fish painting
To be quite frank, I should not be the person you should be asking about this, I do no decorating whatsoever and only aim for profitability.
With that, and the want not to mess with anything already set up so far, I would put the last cabin by the mill by your house, it's out of the way and once you upgrade it it's much better than a shed.
Does anyone have any barn inpos that I can use? I love the messy look
Tentative cellar design. Using modest maps cellar which increases the size a bit :)
Fair enough 😁
looks really cozy! very well done
my farm y2 spring
Ah everyone is sharing their farms, all are so nice
i never used to check my farm out from the aerial view but it helps with the planning a lot
still a work in progress, but this is my farm so far! Fall year 3, im struggling to get all the dragon teeth for the island obelisk
do you still get bat drops?
rip
trying for a giant cauliflower again this in-game year!
And the hunt for the living-hat continues 👀
I'm not done yet but I'm just enjoying what I have so far
Ohhh I like where you put your fish ponds
nice
ty I use banana and mango trees everywhere because it fits the beach farm
Thanks! I couldn't fit all but I'm sure I'll find a way.
Farm update
idk what to do in front of the house
i love all the buildings
this looks amazing!
It's amazing! Do you mind If I take some inspiration?
can someone share some beach farms? i kinda want inspiration cause i have no idea what to do

hope this helps!
@magic fiber
I know it's not a whole farm but I did smth like this
basically spamming banana and mango trees
Finished my farmhouse (Tips for the semi empty spaces greatly appricated)
current house design, it is hella unfinished thought XD gonna redo it soon
okay thanks!!!
I look forward to seeing it finished!!!!
That’s awesome!
feeling like i just starting breaking through to the part of the game where im way less concerned with money making and now have excess resources to design
Making some progress on my upcoming farm layout! The buildings I still need to add are a few sheds, fish ponds, a couple coop/barns and the gold clock, but it's coming along! I really look forward to seeing how the crop patterns I want to implement will look when it's all finished in the planting seasons
Omg love it
thats so pretty!!
Moved a couple of stuff around and divided them to keep a plot of land empty, since I couldn't fit a shed there, might add in a cabin, aaaa who knows.
It's the perfect size for another coop though.
oooo looking tidy so far! Personally, I'm always a fan of more chickens but it's up to you
Heres what my irl garden looks like
W
wait thats really cool
Yes ik it looks morbid, but once I transplant it will look less sad looking
Not going to lie I thought they were Graves lmao
they way its set up reminds me of staedew
sorry for the bad info i thought u mean the farm in ur game 💀
this goes in #images-and-memes
I get that alot
Np I will do that next time
looking good
could use a few sprinklers though, unless you're planting trellis?
Maybe, though in might fill the next coop with rabbits.
Rabbits are nice too!
Fair, but I perfer watering cans. Gets me moving daily
I wish there were more stuff to add like I'm just putting a ton of sheds, more than I should be having.
Well, you can place furniture outside, so you could always make some more "aesthetic themed areas - so like an area for a picnic, etc. You could also do some fun pattern areas with your flower and honey patches, or perhaps lightning rods or solar panels
Maybe, I'll see what I can do, though wouldn't be seen much since I plan on adding another shed in front
i'm new at this game. been watching tips for designing farms on youtube, and working hard
looks great so far!
Tip (optional): put the clock on the middle of the farm if you have one actually.
Thank youuu
Thank youuu
Thank youu and I don't mind go right ahead
Here’s an updated version of Violet Gardens, I have finished building my main structures and painted them purple! I’ve also begun decorating interiors💜
plants or bodies ?
an update on my farm <3
anyone have any inspiration for a forest farm?
was told to drop this here instead of #modded-stardew but rate the farm! It's modded and currently y3 summer
How did you got a new room and move your bed 🐓
Robin’s
The bath house?
No Robin’s carpentry shop, where you upgrade your buildings
Bruh that's a feature in PC ?
I’m afraid so, I’m not sure since I don’t play mobile version
Since it’s a 1.5 feature unfortunately it isn’t available on mobile yet
So I wanna run a farm based on this, however the issue I see is I’d have to sell crops at the start to make money to buy more crops to level up farming to get to kegs. Would I keep the crops and just sell other things to make money, so by the time I get to kegs I have a lot of crops to turn into wine/beer/ale. Any ideas on how to make this work while trying to stay true to the role play idea?
Since 1.5
how to you screen shot your whole farm? i do not know :((
are you on pc?
if you are, you just need to go to your options, scroll allll the way down and click the camera icon
make sure you're at your farm when you do this
if you're on any other platform q_q maybe someone else can help
here’s the link in the pins #farms-and-outfits message
Btw I have finally found someone else who attaches the stable to the house!
@worthy grove i do too!
the roofs line up so nicely
Truly especially if you have the fully upgraded house
So I wanna run a farm based on this, however the issue I see is I’d have to sell crops at the start to make money to buy more crops to level up farming to get to kegs. Would I keep the crops and just sell other things to make money, so by the time I get to kegs I have a lot of crops to turn into wine/beer/ale. Any ideas on how to make this work while trying to stay true to the role play idea?
Hmm
Maybe you could save for a coop and go fishing for your income instead of crops?
Then you can use animals to build up income too
Yea that's a good idea
preserves jars are craftable earlier than kegs so selling pickles/jelly would help
True
mayonnaise machines are at level 2 and bee houses at level 3 so if you allow all artisan goods, you could sell those things as well
You also can get bee houses from the cc
that too
It its from the summer crops
I think
BUNNY I wish this was one of the pet oppositions at the start of the game
you can also plant mixed seeds from cutting weeds and harvest those to level up your farming skill without buying as many seeds
So basically only sell artisan goods would be stay true to the idea
Yes
See robin for house upgrades and renovations, and to move the bed just interact with it like you would with any other furniture
if you add use the last sentence as a guide with it you can olny sell gold quality crops
Lmao I've seen a few ppl do it
I used to not do it but then I saw a lot of people doing it and i started to take a liking to it!
Here's mine, lol
What are the dimensions of those fields?
Like how many tilesxtiles
https://stardew.info/planner/5-short-rats-kissed-merrily/
Here's my stardew valley plan 🙂
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
Oh thanks!
should be 28 by 15
How big the fields are makes me regret wilderness farm lol
I’ve been trying to find space but it’s just so cramped
Yeah, I have another farm which is Beach, and a third being Forest. I regret not chooding Monster/Wilderness instead of Forest. There is so little space XD
https://stardew.info/planner/6-safe-salmons-cuddled-merrily/
This is what I have planned so far for my beach farm, gonna focus on fruit trees for the most part as sprinklers dont work on the beach (except on the little patch to the left)
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
It's a nice farm btw
thanks 😄
Would you like to see my r
Farm?
ofc!
cute! but yeah, the wilderness farm doesnt give a lot of space. The forage is neat, and so is the hardwood, but dunno if its worth it

This is the forest farm
yeah, i call that farm Wilderness, forest and forage farm interchangably, sorry about that!
Love it.
thanks!
what mods do you have?
I got a lot but I’ll name a few off memory. SDV expanded, a more seeds and fruit trees mod, better child npcs, and a custom farm
I feel like I can just change out the flooring inside a Fruit bat cave to make it look a little nicer without disrupting the spawning of fruit early on (I started another file because I wanted to test my artistic skills a bit better). Is that true?
So I’m starting a new farm on the switch rn, I’ve only ever played on mobile, any suggestions on what farm I should pick?
For design purposes^ I’ve already beat the game just wanna start a new design that’s not the base map
forest or four corners or for a challenge beach
i recently decorated a hilltop farm it was supper fun with the limited farming space and different scenery from the standard or forest you see a lot
@upbeat musk Probably a dumb question cause they're forgeable but would you still classify certain forgeable items as Produce? like mushrooms, ferns, leek, flowers, etc.
classify them as produce for what purpose?
On my question earlier you said i could always go with the gold quality produce, would certain forgeable items be considered a produce
sorry took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about
cause so far with the gold quality crops the RNG gods are not in my favor and im not sure what to do
Fertilizer
for that challenge I would sell anything that doesn't come off your farm regardless of quality, if you use the fertilizer it increases the chance of higher quality as does harvesting on higher luck days
ik about fertilizzer i just dont have the funds to get some, im trying to stay as true as possible to the challenge as i can but it is a challenge for sure. but what your saying is as long as it doesnt come from the farm i can sell it, IE foragables, mining, and fishing? I didnt think this through to well lol
basic ferilizer is a level 1 farming recipe
and is made from just sap, sure it isn't great compared to the other fertilizers but it is a start
im an iidiot clearly i didnt know about fertilizer. how can i have over 600hrs in tot his game an not realize that
easy thing to miss
obviously lol thank you
Can anyone suggest some ways I can fix up my farm's design? I'm not sure what to do from here
DECOR DECOR AND MORE DECOR
you have all the needed things but not much decor
theres special items you can get from the movies and other things you could use <3
You're right! I haven't visited the movie theater much
already looks lovely! but agreed, definitly needs a bit more personal touch
I'm still not sure about the layout yet
Aww thank you!
no prob!
could people send some images of their greenhouses? i need some ideas on how to lay it out
my outline is fruit trees but i wanna split it through some different crops
trees grass flowers lampposts and fences are the way to go
Urs looks better then mine
And yet I can tell I’ve progressed more then u
Lol
It's my first save anyways
Omg I LOVE it
My Year 4 perfection farm from back in January. Stumbled across this picture in my phone and figured I’d share
nice
I was just thinking about restarting my farm due to a lack of space because of this farm type. You have made me regain my faith
Yep!
Thank you! :D
That's gorgeous!
Thank you!
Hilltop is pretty and tricky! I like how you layout the hilltop farm. Can't wait to play on my second farm with hilltop type 😁
Thanks 🙂 it’s tough to fit everything you want in, but that’s what makes it feel so cozy! Not a lot of empty space
that hilltop design is nice
It really is tho
My nice little farm with deluxe coop and barn, also I have ||120 starfruit growing||
How do you get rid of the bushes tho?
house
house
My house is a mess
Love the vibe omg
ignore my bedroom, its a mess there
Thats a mess for you?
Wilderness?
I like the way it's all separated, it's different from the straight floorings and the buildings are well placed
That's a pretty cool look to be honest
Thank you so much 💓
The bushes
Yeah the one on the green patches of grass
A new save and this time I'm doing community center. I'm also trying out the forest farm instead of hilltop which is what my other save is on
looking great so far :D
Invisible buttons 🤩
what mod is this? i love it :o
can i have tips for designing my farm, i am in winter y2 and i have no ideas how or where to start
Me too! It's beautiful
Do any of you have ideas on what design to do for a big shed with crystalariums?
its mine but not many crystalarium in it
just for look
Love it!! What mods do you have for the buildings/trees?
The buildings is elle's seasonal buildings
Pretty sure that's gwens craftables
Thanks!
Np
Elle’s mods are great I have the dog, horse, coop, barn and hair ones
Mhm
I think they’re good
I also like the many options.
Ooh yeah
I’ve been meaning to get the buildings one I just haven’t got around to all the customisations
But doing the animals was fun
Oh wowa looks amazing :o
Winter Market finally game, so I was finally able to get the wizard kotatsu I wanted from that festival to complete this main farmhouse decor
Speaking of kotatsus also went kind of wild with those things in this one shed area you can unlock in stardew expanded
Oh! And I finally found space for that fisherman's bed I liked over in my ginger island farmhouse by moving stuff around
Thank you!!
that’s amazing :D
amazingggg!
Used my phone to take the picture
But how do you like this I made something for the frog statue
Not that good at design but tried my best
Wow this looks really nice, good job!
cozy spot
hi, im a beginner in this game
can you guys suggest farm design that is easy to do for a beginner?
i want to be jack of all trade so i want my farm to have a little of everything from animal, crops, shed/barn area, beehive and stuff
thank you so much for any suggestion
also, do i need a separate area for wood trees since they make oak resin, tar and maple syrup stuff? because most of the farm design i see, they dont leave any wood trees in it
you can have a seperate section for trees! what i like to do is have a little 'orchard' section on my farms
you could have one or two of oak, pine and maple trees, and fruit trees later on if you wanted.
im on standard farm rn
that orchard section must be huge lol because of the 3x3 things with fruit trees
can i ask how many fruit trees u have? im planning to do 3 trees for each types, so total would be ~18 fruit trees
I have 6 of each tree on my oldest farm of 6 years 💀
ok i actually like this idea, never thought of this lmao
Oohhh yeah I forgot that you can plant trees there, I have a whole tree farm
i have three of each fruit tree!
my dumb head just bough ~200 deluxe speed gro
so im broke rn
i can get a picture of my section if you'd like!
please can i see it?
thank you so much
of course!
it's currently winter on the farm i have it on, but it'll give you an idea at least of how mine looks
it will work
the stone/wood paths are optional of course
but i have three of each kind of fruit tree from pierre's
the oak, maple and pine trees i get sap from are in the bus stop section, but i plan to grow some near these!
ok i see ur thinking with the wood paths lol
that make sense tbh
im not really good with art or design stuff, so pls share with me if u have any efficient design
tysm for helping out 🥹
i've been playing pretty much since stardew came out and over the years the way i do my farms has changed
i focus way more on animal products so my farm is mostly barns/coops
if that's what you prefer i might be of more help!
bc im a newbie so i wanna experience everything lol
jack of all trade personality 🐸
so might need urs but later on when im good with this game lol
sure!
the important thing i guess is to space stuff out and have fun w it? you can change where buildings are/move things around if you get bored of how your farm looks eventually
what year are you on rn?
i suggest have fun with the game first if you're still on year 1 or 2 :> at least to get the feels on each your needs (how many trees, sheds, barns etc you're gonna need)
So I feel like there’s only about three of us that have a Riverland Farm 🤣😂
Anyone else got pictures of their river lands? I need planning help
im on spring year 2 rn
i just need to get the basic layout first like where to place barn/coops or where to grow fruit trees without taking a long walk or it looking like a mess lol
Kinda new to stardew but... what mod did you use so u can make the wizard as ur wife-
Most of its vanilla, the bathroom is https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/10982

summer, year 2! this is my first ever run, i'm finally feeling like i'm understanding the game well, and i'm excited to see what the rest of my farm looks like!
spent the past 2 days decorating my farm, summer 21 year 3
early year 2 farm, not modded besides some texture changes, I think it looks good.
not focused on maximizing profit anymore as i've already got my gold clock, so just wanted to make it pretty (recolours, some custom flowers and automate are the only mods used)
working on the interior now and i'm definitely struggling with that more
ty for all the recs 🥹
It's very nice
Whoa 🤯
Nice! I could show you my latest standard farm layout when i got home :)
Bloop
i've always wanted to decorate my farm but don't know what i should do with it, any tips?
also don't roast me for not having the greenhouse all i need are literally two gold star parsnips-
Paths are always nice. Robin sells recipes for a bunch of different types and most of them are crafted with like 1 stone or 1 wood each.
Thanks!!
second paths! it really made mine look ten times better!
how do you organize your crops? like if you don't have the greenhouse which gates do you use or like where do you put crops
The kotatsu's are aster's: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/11091
Bathroom Furniture mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/10982
A Window in the kids room: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4258
The lil computer in the kids room: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3390
Craftables reskin: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5513
I'm also playing on stardew expanded, I think I used a crate from one of the furniture vendors that comes with that mod in the bathroom. Most of the furniture mods I mentioned got more use in other areas I've been decorating
Just stardew valley expanded, the wizard is one of the romance options that comes with the mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3753
Just to clarify, not using either of those romance mods, just stardew valley expanded by itself
So this is my first farm. I'm a bit stuck as to what to put on the other islands. I cbb doing more crops. Any suggestions?
oooh good shout, i might pop one on Honey Bee Isle
what mods r u using?
Where do you get those mushroom thingies?
WAIT DUCKS CAN GO ON WATER?
mushroom trees appear at your farm at random! there's nothing you can do to "get them", just check your farm occasionally and one day you might have one
and yes, ducks can go on water
im talking abt these
oh
those are this:
you can buy them at the flower dance
👍
you can buy mushroom tree seed
i think by the time you get to the golden walnut room you will alredy have one
you can buy the mushroom tree seeds from qi for 5 gems a pop
yeah but maybe not where you want it to be
I didn't even know I had those mushroom trees until I took that screenie. What are they for?
you can put a tapper on in and it'll give you mushroom
oh sweet. thanks 😄

What are these trellis crops?
What should I decorate the other rooms like? I've run out of ideas
idk but what is wrong with your house??
It's a modded house the segments are different floors
ah
these are honeysuckle plants! they're available with the mizus flowers ppja mod
I have the same mod so I recognized them
can't ss the whole thing :(
i might follow ur layout XD
yess
this is the other half
i want to put a coop and a barn there but i have to upgrade the barn( last upgrade)
ignore if some fences or paths are missing ( too lazy to put em back)
the deluxe barn is the Best upgrade cus u get both sheep and pigs
this is the left side
thank u ! :D
i followed a 100 days in sdv video and i liked his farm and i said - copy and paste :))
better
u have the whole screenshot now :D
a lil crusty cuz i didn't take care of it but i think it looks good for my first time reaching y2
mind sending me this video via dm?
Please dm me ur visual mods omg I’m in love. Also those obelisk doors are amazing
c-can I use this layout-
also the mod is so pretty wtf
for sure especially since mobile is so fuckin difficult
yeaaa, can't wait to get a mouse so i can play on my laptop
Ah, thank you so much! Definitely will have to look into that, they’re very pretty!
yw!! i highly recommend the mod it adds such lovely things

A Content Patcher pack for seasonal replacements for all the buildings on your farm. Includes buildings for several popular map recolors!
A mod to replace most trees in Stardew Valley with a more stylized version.
just sent another message here :)
and ofc! i took a lot of inspiration from other farms too :D
gorg ty
?
right above my reply
oh im blind
it's fine lol
This is sort of the general plan I laid out for my forest farm year 2.... any additional ideas? I slightly reshaped the ponds and entirely removed one using map editor mod btw. Also the greenhouse will be slightly left and up.
And I'm gonna design a sort of park by the rightmost pond
i suggest putting some sheds in the left mid corner
and beware, having barns in the grassy area is super annoying unless you get a mod that lets grass grow there
Tbh 4 is enough imo
Not sure what you mean, I'm pretty sure wild grass grows on the short grass
You just have to plant it there and it starts to spread, it doesn't do it on its own though
Also I plan to have pigs in those barns so grass would be an inconvenience anyway
Yeah 🙂 gonna be 2 for kegs, one half keg half jar, and one for crystalariums. The cabin will be lvl 1 cabin with seed/bed removed and will be for chest storage.
I think that's gonna be enough sheds but could be wrong
Not hard to add an extra though
And you can always use the quarry or have kegs in your basement instead of casks
True, though I do love my casks 😛
Half cask half keg
it doesn't spread?
at least it doesn't on switch
Does for me 😛
i learned the hard way, got 2 barns full of pigs there and constantly have to remember to restock silos
I don't think it's one of my mods but I'll go check on it
Yeah my only grass mod doesn't effect that. It spreads, just grass in general does spread very slowly so no matter where you put it the pigs are gonna eat it pretty fast if you don't protect it with fences/lightning posts or something
Work in progress 🙂
checked reddit and unless it's been changed recently i don't think grass spreads there in vanilla play?

I decorated every room in my (modded) house... but the attic at the bottom right is so huge and daunting! How should I decorate it?
Seperate into more manageable sized areas using fences, floor deviders, furniture etc?
How do you get rid of bushes?
looking good! Nice job
:D thanks
I don't know if this is the right channel for that, but I use a mod called 'destroyable bushes', I don't know if there is a way in vanilla
Ok thanks
there are some bushes on vanilla you can destroy with a steel axe or better as well
they're generally ones located throughout the center instead of the corners of a farm map
Ok
@weary escarp Looks really cool! :3
Odd, because I specifically remember it growing on my beach farm where I put it in the bottom right corner grassy zone.
It was slow, but noticable.
could you show me pls?
hi can someone help me
This isn't really the place to ask for help (unless you're looking for some design inspiration)
ok
looks awesome!
Cool! I wish the game had a map maker of its own I play on wilderness and the pond in the middle is super annoying
Wish we could like fill it with clay or something
Every 5 clay would fill in a tile of water
Or something
Im on switch so can't mod stardew
Hiya! Does anyone have any ideas on what to put in the 7x7 space next to the greenhouse, also the front yards of the two houses? I ran out of ideas:p
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
