If you're playing on PC or Android you can change the farm map on a save. You can find out how by googling "stardew change farm map". Make sure to save a backup copy of your files in case you screw up, and pick up literally every single item that isn't a building including grass (and then save the day) before you do the change because ALL that changes is the farm map and you probably don't want a bunch of stuff you can never reach cluttering up your new map (you'll need to move your buildings after too). If you do those things it's pretty doable really. I've changed a Riverland farm to a Beach farm, and a modded Standard farm to Wilderness.

If you want a mod that really makes the game bigger, Stardew Valley Expanded is excellent
And that has 2 specialized modified farm maps (they both replace Standard so you can only pick 1 at a time): Grandpa's farm, bigger than standard but still cute; and Immersive Farm 2 Remastered which is ridiculously huge

So don't start over. You have ginger island so you have the big open crop space, and it's seasonless so it's an almost unlimited cash cow. Lock your animals in their buildings for a little while (or just wait for winter) and make your islands cute as heck!

Riverlands is not the most efficient map but it can be really gorgeous

If the islands look too naked try planting trees along their northern edges
Connect the bridges with pathing

Nice, I have always hated cobblestone pathing but the rest is really cool

So pretty! I love the paths, I think you pull them off really well. Incorporating some crystal pebbles and stepping stones into the cobblestone could make it look more natural, though if you’re trying to get a more polished, man made look what you have is perfect
