You can still plan it out in winter. Like plant the trees, move the buildings etc it's what I did. I got resources for the fences and upgrades for example.

heres an idea! I made it with planner. Its pretty simple but would do the job well

you can extend the crop area as well since its pretty flexible

the planner has an overlay you can turn on so that it shows u, but the 1st level is a plus sign, it waters 4 in the cardinal directions, 2nd level is is just the 8 surrounding tiles (a 3x3 box), iridium is 24 surrounding tiles (5x5), and then you can put pressure nozzles on iridium sprinklers to get a 7x7 area watered

While the mods do add alot of interesting textures, i just dont think you can beat basic/default-style stardew textures

I use cjb cheats mods to 'design' a farm. ( I prefer this over planner as planner is buggy + you can get more detail in game and get more of a feel of what it is to play on the farm ).
I use tractor mod to clear all trees and rocks which takes seconds.
The rest takes 3 - 5 hours for exterior farm only. ( for me at least )
I then use the 'design' and recreate it on my save rather than using planner and not liking the 'feel' or going through multiple iterations wasting precious time and resources.

alright so somr advice. First, you should try setting a vibe you want. A more natural look is best for forest, so the stepping stone paths mixed with the cobblestone paths are best. You can also remove the bushes to decorate and add stuff like sheds and other buildings to maximize tillable land. You also defibitely need to keep your crop area in a main firld that is in more of a square than all over the place. Resin farms are nice, but place them at the bus stop or desert instead if you want aesthetics. Planting trees makes it look much more natural and better as well. If you have the money, id suggest cherry trees and orange trees. Fencing in areas not for animals will also make it look better in general. Also try making the paths mainly on the tillable areas instead of the grass since that makes it look messy. If you have trouble stardew planner can really help with it

Looking great so far!! I don't know anything about destructable bushes on that map but what if you were to move the coop/barn onto a grass spot instead? Like the top wood farm zone on the left or the grassy area to the left of the farmhouse? That way you would have more space for crops (if you wanted that) or anything else.

omg i didn't realize what "snake milk" could mean until you said that 🤣 but nah, iHaku is referring to the actual name of the item that you ||get when you reach level 100 of skull cavern for the first time. it's Iridium Snake Milk and it permanently increases your health by 25||

i play with more fish, and there's a lot of different stuff to get from there. as this was a new save made for the contest they arent connected to chests from automate, unlike the ones in my real save are.

and the sunflowers were actually a mistake. there was only ment to be 1 field of them and a blueberry one for the other one

i caught that only after i submitted it tho and i was too lazy to use my resubmit ;v

like, i've been in cornfields a bunch of times (farming corn was big in my region where i grew up) and in stardew it looks very... sparse in comparison

now that I have a decent chunk of money I can focus entirely on growing AF/Starfruit and cooking ingredients

to be fair in Stardew you only get a couple of corns per stalk

but if you were going for a children of the corn vibe then yeah I guess it is disappointing

then you'll realize how much more you have

i almost only use Rustic Plank Floor for main paths and cobblestone stone path with a stepping stones mix. overusing brick flooring looks terrible imo.
straw flooring for outside of barns and coops, and stone floors for industrial/fishing areas.
stone walkway floor also looks good occasionally.
