So I have a new layout for farming honey around the GI West pond area. Previous layout was nice, but it turns out that the Stardew Planner doesn't include indestructible bushes, and they make my previous plan a lot worse.

you can do it on steam if you’re playing on PC, or you can create a co-op world and then go to your options after you click on the world and scroll to find an invite code. then you give them the code and they can type it in to join

if it says connection failed when they try to join they should just keep trying and trying until it works or restart the game

This is a challenge run, so it's all meticulously planned out, rather than being a normal route. Essentially though: rush fishing for early game money, farm potatoes then strawberries for Farming XP, do boiler room and vault as quickly as possible for the rewards (and early Crystallarium), then switch to Joja so I can buy out the rest instead of waiting for Fall to complete the pantry

Anyway, the point of grinding farming XP in spring (because spring farming is terrible for profit) was simply to unlock kegs and iridium sprinklers, so I could then boom on GI with massive starfruit plantations and kegs

There's a lot more details to it as well, to do with ensuring you have all the resources needed to unlock the boat in time

And I was basically permanently broke with an operating budget of sub-1000g all the way until early Fall, because everything was being invested into the setup

bee houses produce honey even if they aren't near any flowers! but it'll be "wild honey", which only sells for 100g so probably isn't worth the space the bee houses take up

if that person had the bee houses in range of the poppies on their farm tho, the honey would sell for ~400g each iirc

Yes. Where the rods are doesn't matter, but the more non-producing rods you have on the farm, the greater the chance that any lightning strikes get redirected to the rod

try to keep things you use quite often near your house(like storage/furnaces). pathing should be your 1st step in making your farm as it would pretty much dictate where you could place your buildings and stuff. dont forget to make space for end game stuff if you dont plan on changing up the layout anytime soon.
