I still farm despite the downsides, but fishing and animal care are definitely the main source of income.
Once you get cows making money with cheese is a dream, visiting the animals every day also give a ton of profit later.
Just keep expanding from there and Marnie can provide the stuff so the process is less tedious but overall its better than farming!

Once you get the big barn then use pigs instead of sheep and for maximum money gain you'll probably have to get rid of the rest of your animals and use pigs.
But I will never say goodbye to my cows .

Fill every area with something, a slime hutch, more animals , fish pond etc. spread things out a bit more and decorate in between them with trees and grass and decorations. I would suggest maybe making your paths a bit thinner and putting trees on the edge of it

I was against the slime hutch just cause It doesn’t seem that useful on the farm, I’ve used it before and didn’t really understand the purpose of it and ended up forgetting it was there

Slimes can drop loot like diamonds, iridium or even very rarely Prismatic Shards when killed and their slime can be made into Slimeeggs which sell for a nice amount of money. Plus you need Slime for Wild Bait, which is super useful for fishing.

It's not a super money maker but it isn't enterily useless and needs no maintenance whatsoever.

It just sucks that it needs an Iridiumbar. Something like idk 20 Void Essence would be better imho.

Grass starter can be planted almost anywhere in the game world. This includes inside buildings, town, etc. Hope this helps!

Be creative, look on Pinterest, the Reddit stardew farms, mess around on the planner, make a list of what you want on the farm and what makes to you. For example I like having a shed close to barn or coop. And a silo close to them as well

bring a prismatic shard to the 3 desert pillars and hold it in the middle

it’s just the sprinkler thing and that’s only really relevant for a couple of seasons

there’s usually not too much of a gap between being able tos start getting sprinklers and getting the greenhouse

and then once you’ve gotten the greenhouse island comes not long after

so you’re basically just focusing on different things a little bit

watering can upgrades early, maybe more pigs than usual

u can purchase grass starter recipe or purchase grass starter

also maybe a different path depends tho
