Here's mine
Anyone willing to share their standard farms? Idk what to do with Mike 😅
tyyy
Poor Mike..
Here's a standard farm I just recently finished remodeling
Wow, that looks so neat!
Do you find the small amount of water in this farm limiting though?
I haven't actually started playing the game yet (I'm getting the game with a switch for my birthday soon), so am trying to decide the best map to use.
Sorry if this isn't the right page to ask
Imo the standard is the least limiting of all the maps. It's got the most open space of all of them and allows a lot more variations and sectioning of the farm. I have done many farms with the standard one, and you can get such completely different designs.
Yeah I second that. Especially for your first time playing, the standard farm is the way to go
I third that. My first farm was the forest and all of the bushes you couldn’t destroy got in the way of making a farm plan
for me the standard farm is too open, I prefer to design around the lines that the farm plot gives me
Can i see ppls 4 corners maps?
You can destroy all the bushes that are not placed along the farm border with a copper axe :)
Yea same, I'm not a huge fan of standard, I started with forest and that was great
How you not scared of crows eating ya crops??
Probably has something hidden behind the huts :b
I took a forest farm to year 4 in 1.3, it was superb
There's a Deluxe scarecrow hidden behind each junimo hut
Huh
4 corners is bigger though
Omg I am on year 3 Winter and I never knew that
They can be DELIXE?
Aw man I feel for you haha
deluxe scarecrows are unlocked by ||getting every rarecrow|| I think
Correct
Thanks for the advice everyone, I'll go for a standard layout 🙂
Good luck! 😊
Thanks 😁
Hey, been a while. That's a very nice farm design.
Hey! Long time! Thanks
I actually met my, now good friend on this server then left. But I am back
Yay! Good you're back
Farm update, year 2, spring 2
The one think I like about forest farm is that it actually gives u a lil forest and a cute entrance between two forest lands whre ur cabin looks great
Do you mind if I use/take inspiration from this beautiful design? I’ve been having trouble with decorating/figuring out how my layout should look for my year 3 fall farm. Idk why I felt the need to specify lol
So many crops
Hit too many crops?
never too many
im on like year 3 winter and mine looks no where near that good xD
Question about screenshots: what does the percentage mean?
I’m on Y5 spring and I don’t even have half as much crops
Mostly because of river land
Oh I'm sorry this is actually @heady flame 's farm design! The reason I posted that gif was because someone else was taking credit for their farm, so I made that to show it was the same picture. If you search for messages from Lucina you'll find that they have made multiple amazing farm designs
Fishyyy
The color coordination

Definition of a cozy home
HOT DAMN
that looks so nice
I finally caught the legend today so I decided to post my Y5 farm
i'm still on my first playthrough and i'm getting so excited seeing everyone's beautiful designs
It is true looking thru ppl pics is beautiful
Started working finally on my year 4 farm decor, so uninspired and finding the top left corner so displeasing anyway, any advice to help spruce it up?
add paths
Im working 1 section at a time, rn just working on top left
Right**
When u mix left and right up
Lol
The top right im trying to fix atm
It just... doesnt appeal to me
Lol i wont
Ik top left is hideous
Right
Omfg
I cannot tell diff rn, doesnt help its 1:30am ig
gmt gang
Yes
convertible farm, year 2 (wip)
for those who are wondering which buildings i use, its elle's seasonal buildings
look at all that truffle
im planning on moving the hutch and removing the tree farm on the bottom left for extra truffle space
and i will add some coop for mayos
i love your farm. looks incredibly neat
also the left of the greenhouse will be the three statues (||true perfection||, perfection, and endless fortune)
are you planning to add more pond at that left upper area
yes
yes i could already see that
also the right of the shrine will be the gold clock and the obelisks
thx
I like to think I'm doin pretty alright for year 1 Summer.
Could someone help me with suggestions on how to fill these empty spaces? I already got Perfection in the game, so I'm just focusing on decorating now. Fall 1, Year 5
I was copying this layout I found on Pinterest, but I don't need that many sheds
one shed and decor around it to make it looks like a restaurant?
Sounds good, thank you 😁
Also a flower / beehive area
don't forget to show us the result!
TIL painting a blank canvas without any theme like forest with foliage, hilltop with hills can be hard..
what do you guys think?
I like it
Very clean
I'm still not sure tho, i might make another one for standard, because the one i did rn really looks a lot like four corners
standard is hard
Anyone got some finished IFRv2 layouts? I'd love to see what people do with all the available space
omg u could make pretty gardens 🤩 pretty garden here pretty garden there
that is so fkin cute omg
real question, how do i do those screenshots that you all did, AND should i restart ny farm
I won't 😁
So... gardens, restaurant and beehive. Thank you guys xD
@cunning fiber
i think if u scroll down to the bottom in your options tab, there's a camera icon that u click for the screenshot
eh I saw it, not rlly my vibe
Tru
Sheeesh our farm gonna be like this
Is there one for mobile or nah?
i have nooo idea
there's a guide to do that
Sharing Your Farm
For PC, Switch, and PS4
These three platforms have a native way to capture not just your farm, but any map you’re on! To use this feature:
Enter the in-game map you want to capture.
Open your inventory.
Click on/move to the Options tab and scroll to the bottom.
(PC only)...
here's my 4-corner farm and need some suggestions on what to potentially put on the (empty) upper left corner... this is on spring year 5 and very far from 100% lol i've been slacking
Which farm is this-
Oh
I didnt read the desc
sorry just using this channel quickly so i can post an image:
screen stayed dark for longer than usual last night then this owl thing spawned outside my house does this mean anything?
this is a cool owl statue for your farm, it does nothing as i know, it’s just a decoration
it appears random at night, some people even struggle to get it, it has 1/100 chance of occuring each night
it is a rare spawn. The game scans your farm and if it finds a spot it places it. It is like the alien capsule
oh ok cool
it is a really nice decoration. i love using it in garden areas
got this hat cutting weeds
ooo that is a super rare hat, i think pierre also has a tiiiiiny chance of selling it
it is like rare like the garbage can hat
I searched it its 0.001%
whaaaaaa- is this true?
yeah i think i saw a youtuber who bought the livinghat from him but it is suuuuuper rare
just dun quote me on it i am not sure myself haha
Luckyyy, I want that hat so badly
I still want the trash can hat 😿
I got the trash hat my current save, i have only had it once before and i wear it all the time now XD
I have two of those already, you'll get it fast enough if you just keep checking trash cans
Nice 😌
But that living hat's chance is so tinyy arhg
i rather turn on monsters on my farm and kill them to try and get it than weeds
wilderness monsters has a 0.1% instead of the 0.001%
where to get weeds? isit the same as fiber?
It is fiber
Ye
But its super rare
0.001%
I think there is a mob that have a 0.01%
It's 0.01% from the wilderness golems, I might give that a go yeah
I Like how your farms are nice and pretty i have all my stuff near the door lol
same
I've finally become organized
Also apologies for the shitty photo lmao i play on a projector
@limpid hill it looks great, although i do have 1 comment to make, if you decide to get married / have a roommate in the game, that area will get used for something, not gonna say tho bc spoilers
Yeah i know, i dont plan on getting married tho so its all good
normally im a big harvey guy but not in this run
Yeah i dont plan on it
Ah cool
very nice setup! i normally colorcode my chest lol
That's the most chaotic thing I've ever read, and I love you
that's badass
can you guys tell me what do you think about this farm? idk what to add there more tbh
Fishy pond
okie ty
the hearts are really cute
but you may want to lower the left one a bit to match the right
Should I do a four corner farm or wilderness farm next
i wanted to make them kind of irregular yk
Your beehouse hearts won't all get the flower buff
oh no thats not good
Any good designers have some tips? I am about as creative as a goldfish, lookin for help
my year 3 farm is prety much done the only thing left is placing iridium spinklers near the big lake and planting crops there :D
I ought to plan my farm out before I do much else with it
I suggest to change the wood between the crops into stepping stone paths, and maybe fence it
Also you don't need that many scarecrows
the 2 ont he center already cover all the crops
ye but its cooler if they are exposed
That’s very cool! I love how you have an industrial bit, bottom right
Finish the community centre and try get the green house finished 🙂
i need 1 melon for the greenhouse
and the other are :(
My farm is finally complete
the Fall colors are my favorite
Grandpa's farm does actually let you open up another field to the east in late game
Nothing unmodded really until [s5] || Ginger Island ||
still working on the farm, but this part of it I am quite happy with
that looks lovely
How do you design so well
❤️ eh, a lot of credit to the mod that changes the looks of the buildings I think XD other than that, just add clutter 😛
@blissful ridge oops forgot ❤️
Looks great!
Reverse image search finds that image btw
Here it is in full resolution
https://youtu.be/Lv9n6vcDkeo and here’s the YouTube source from the four corners from yesterday
I used my standard farm save file and turned it into four corner farm so expect the interiors of the buildings are quite familiar, I just added some few things that were given in this update. So far, this is my idea of placing things around this farm...
I will no longer add the save file. I also recorded this on PC since I just realized that th...
Can anybody help me design a four corners farm?
It really bother me you can’t put floor tiles under fish ponds because they don’t perfectly fit those squares
You put it into words
It's the worst thing and I hate it
It applies to most buildings but fish ponds are particularly bad
Stepping stone, cobblestone, and crystal path are the only floor tiles I use outdoors, and forcing an organic lack-of-fit is a huge part of why.
as others have mentioned fish ponds
my 1.4 four corners
LMAO
have that image on my phone lol
nah no reason
Just bought the gold clock and decorated my coops :3
The stone fence looks so nice! It looks like a continuation of the stone elevation of the house making it look all connected.
Im gonna plant some flowers in some of the empty space later as well
Add some color
the hay bales are so cute :)
@next yarrow Keep messages on topic, please do not share chainmail style posts.
what the hecc, look at epic's reaction
Thank you for the heads up on that
r/quityourbullshit
get rekt lmao
dont steal designs and dont claim them as your own
use them as inspiration instead
Main reason why I chose not to have a fishpond
wow owned much?
The forest farm that was shared as well is also from Reddit. I know because I took inspiration from that same picture lmao
If there's an issue, please report it to Bouncer!
sorry moving on
ok
That was cool
I need inspiration for decoration of the outside of the farm (in the town), do you guys put decoration in the roads?
to much food i guess xd
dnt bully me ;w; i just started this game 2day i think this looks nice and i wanna share it :P
(i started tge game today and im already addicted LOL)
nicee!
ty
np :3
hell yeah >:)
For 2nd day its super cute
Startin the decor early unlike me who went 4 years and let everything be a mess before even starting to clear my field 😭
welcome to a excelent experience
what food shall i sell (I HAVE TOOO MUCH JFSFJFJ)
I say keep a lot of it honestly
@opaque umbra You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels and share images in all channels!
in the begging the thing that was more useful to me was fishing
oki
i store my food by seasons -- i have a green chest for spring, yellow for summer, orange for fall, and blue for winter
omg! thank you so much for the idea ;D!!
np !
so, i was using a reference to make my farm, but i lost it, so if anybody can find me the picture i used as reference or help me with the design of my farm i would very grateful
how did you take a picture like that?,
go to settings, the controller symbol and at the end of the whole setting theres an option of "screenshot"
Thank youu!
np
what is all the spring food owo
im being confused
i'm searching it on google but it makes me soo confused
This?
What is that in the center of ur farm?
This is the whole farm rn
||junimo huts||
What's the function?
i just planned this farm, it's looking super bland and i don't really know what to include... my farms have always been super messy i didn't even realise i had this much space lol but what should i change/include/remove
||they harvest crops for you||
to make jt worse, they are in ||marnies room||
how to see the farm like this?
Theres a stardew valley planner you can use
Its a website
year 1 ,summer
nice pathways
the wood and stone look good together
It took me forever to clear all the trees
I have no idea how to decorate---
My phone is really old so I recreated it on the planner
maybe add some pretty seating/flower areas?
there's a lot of open space near the pond at the bottom of the farm
and beehives
those usually spice up the place a bit

Can you guys share your hilltop farms? i want to try it out but im fresh out of ideas
😳😳
I really like that, thank you
thats so pretty omg
np and ty!
omg that's so gorgeous!!
were already on year 4 yet our farm still looks bad. Idk how to decorate(?) it. Does anyone have any tips or smth?
ignore the slime hut were thinking about getting rid of it
I dont have any ideas of the top of my head but if you'd like I could show you my farm for some ideas? It is 1.5 tho ..
Here it is if you wanna pick up any ideas
thx 😊
Np!
15 hours into the game
is it good?
yeah!
made one of my big sheds into a cafe with a soda/milkshake bar
thanks
does anyone have any good forest farms?
a bunch of combined mods, cosy cafe for the cake display and counters and the ovens to make the cakes, artisanal soda mods, and a milkshake recipe mod
the cosy cafe in nexus is old but still works the same way but if you want the new 1.5 ingredients in the mod the comments have a link to the modder's site where she has the 1.5 updated version
i've realised where i've messed up, in order for me to match the design i did on the planner i need to move the middle stone path down by 1 on both sides
because the planner shows the farm map a bit smaller than in game so i need to move the path down by 1
That’s stunning! 😊
can I copy take inspiration from this?
i really like the restaurant/cafe aesthetic and it’s what I’m planning to make my farm
ofc ill change whatever to my liking bla bla bla
but it’s absolutely amazing
Nothing is stopping you aha 🙂
is there anyway to change the layout of your farm?
When you begin a server you can choose a selection of different farm maps 🙂
Only by editing the game files I think, but you might have some trees floating in ponds etc, so you have to remove those beforehand
okay sure
well yk it’s better to ask for permission first
thank you
u dont have an idea of how much i looked for that picture after i accidentally erase it, THANK U
just finished my farm's remodel :) If yall haven't already i really recommend making a lil village with the cabins it looks so cute
(now that i'm seeing my farm from this far i'm reconsidering those fences 😅)
still WIP any ideas to fill this empty void with something useful?
oh i just finished mine, here it is
Did you keep the fences on purpose? you know you can remove them
This is sooo cute!
yep, i decided to keep them since i didn't know what else i'd use the space for
i also noticed you dont have fish ponds
nvm
im dumb
@rigid ledge bats or mushrooms?
mushrooms
😆
i mentioned i hated the way the fences looked so i got new ones :)
to be honest i prefer vanilla fences
yeah they're nice but i liked this cottage core-esk one
I love the farm and everthing about it it looks amazing
Hello! Welcome to the server!
Hai
tysm!
yo where did u get the recolor
the map recolor?
Pardon me, but what farm is that?
looots left to do, but slowly looking better. Redesigning the beehive area around the gold clock soon
I literally just stay on this channel because I love these farms.
Agreed, it's a fantastic channel
My coops interior
omg i never even thought to design the inside!!
grandpa's farm which you can download from the stardew valley expanded page!
Thank you!
np
What modded farm should i play on after im done with my last vanilla farm run
What did you just play, what are your favourite parts of the game, are you planning on using mods next time?
I just played the forest farm bc i havent really done that yet, now im going to try out modded
Ahh, I have no idea for modded :/
I don't know what would be beneficial, but likely a custom farm
The ||mini shipping bin|| is a very nice touch
Small modded map: Tiny Garden Farm by Daisyniko
Big modded map: Grandpa's Farm with SVE
HUGE modded map: IFR2 with SVE
(Note that Grandpa's and IFR2 are mutually exclusive)
Alright
Thanks :)
Ty! It's very convenient haha
@grand lintel (in case you have a barn) isn't it better to put the ||shipping bin|| in between both buildings?
I never knew coop interior is a thing, I might need to do this for my farm
what farm in that
it's grandpa's farm!
huh
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3753 look under "files" and you can find grandpa's farm
the bus is a part of the farm?
ty in case you want to make your own, i used https://picrew.me/
no, the bus stop part was just included in the screenshot so it's not actually apart of the farm
I made a giant blueberry farm and got this
Ok
Oh gosh
What
I’m too lazy to buy those but yet again I took 3 hours making that
tons of ancient fruits
what ya'll think?
It looks pretty nice
nice but can we have a vanilla version?
no
lmao
visual mods for the win
thats really pretty
Does this work for a farm? The fences that poke out are placeholders until I get bronze to make sprinklers
It goes further down but it's just the same pattern
thanks!
The basic sprinklers which I'm assuming you're going with since those are crafted with copper, only water 4 crops each like this
Oh crap
I recommend using quality sprinklers instead
I must of misunderstood what someone said about them
They water the surrounding 8 tiles
How do I get quality ones?
Yea I figured :b
They're unlocked at farming lvl 6, it's one iron bar, gold bar and a refined quartz to craft em
And here is their range
That's depressingly small..
But it’s good tho
That'll take a lot of resources to make a lot of them
Haha yea.. iridium sprinklers make it better
I assume iridium sprinklers require a ton of iridium? ;-;
I recommend upgrading your watering can too, helps a lot
One gold bar, one irodium bar and a battery
For iridium sprinklers
Jeez man, I assume you get battery from traveling merchant? That's the only way I know you can get them.
Or from lightning rods after a storm
If you're on Android or PC there is a mod called "Advancing Sprinklers" that lets you use your quality sprinkler as an ingredient in your iridium sprinkler
Yeah batteries are usually my bottleneck until I can get a lot of lightning rods made
You can buy iridium sprinklers too once you've donated enough items to the museum
That's right!
Lol I haven't done a new save on mobile in so long, I forgot about that
Oh god
I've donated like 2 items
because I assumed it was a useless mechanic like Blather's Museum from ACNL
Nope, fairly important for a few things actually
But fear not, you can get most of the way to the threshold for Krobus with geode output alone. Dig up every worm you come across in your activities and donate the artifacts from that as well, and you'll be up there before you know it.
my year 3 fall farm lol just ignore all the un matching paths
(But don't donate your first dinosaur egg! Incubate it instead!)
Who is Krobus? I've heard his name around but not sure who he actually is.
He's a friendly shadow person who lives in the sewer
They are a friendly monster you will befriend later on
And he runs a little shop that sells several important and useful things
Oh that must be why I was shown the crotch goblins trying to get into the sewer
Ig I can look up how to get the key
That's where the donations come into play
Well to change the subject, what should I do with my farm until I can get better sprinklers?
Maybe go for less crops, and upgrading the watering can helps a lot too
Then you can water multiple crops at once
Are there any crops in particular I should grow in spring? It's winter atm sadly so all I can do it just prepare for the future
And for less crops, I'll probably just use only the top part of the farm or somethin.
You can still grow winter seeds and ||fiber seeds eventually|| in winter, but strawberries are the best spring crop. Then comes Rhubarb, cauliflower and kale
Cauliflower and potato are good money, and strawberries if you have a seed maker and saved some from last year
Seed maker?
It's unlucked at lvl 9 farming so quite late
rip
I really like this page, although you have to click the "All Sources Off" button first and then just check the "base game" crops at the top of the list. But after that you can sort by monthly profit, and view whether or not things regrow. I refer to it a fair bit, especially in the last half of a season to see what I actually have time left to harvest.
Growth and other crop information for PPJA (and other) mods for Stardew Valley
I feel like regrowing crops would be a lot nicer than non regrowing crops through
Also I just got the Cowpoke achievement! 😄
There are pros and cons. If you have a lot to do, replanting seeds can be a lot of work, but if things regrow fast, picking over and over can be a lot of work too. Sometimes I like the slow-growing high-value crops for minimizing both planting and harvesting time.
(That chart above also struggles with multi-season crops and assumes you bought a coffee bean from the trading cart and only grew the one plant from it. Once you have unlimited coffee beans their profit is on par with strawberries, blueberries, and cranberries.)
Might do long grow high value maybe
Maybe do this talk in #stardew-valley ?
Can we? Or would everything I just said be a spoiler there?
I was gonna say it has to do with my farm, but it isn't exactly a design conversation. That too ^
fair fair lol
I just got a funny quest from wizard, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to give it to him.
I'm only asking this here since I don't know if wizard stuff is spoilers or not
only thing that is really spoilers is 1.15 stuff and that has a black bar
alright
How am I meant to give Wizard a Void Essence? I had been given one randomly from Abigail (Wife/14 ❤️ ) which is why I found it funny, but not sure how to hand it to him.
just "gift" it to him
But... Does he ever come out of the tower without an event to trigger it?
like when ya need to give quest items just "gift" them like normal gift. It will count as the quest item
nope ya need to go into the tower
he never leaves it
I'll look up how I'm meant to go into it
You just open the door
I'm super happy with how my first ever storage shed turned out
he will then send you something the next day
Will Wizard's quest still be active by then?
yes
quest will always be active
untill completed. Other quest and events will never cancel them
So I just look at the tablet, even if I can't read it's weird hieroglyphs?
sick, alright.
and after you gotten the mail you can enter
Can the Wizard/Wizard's Tower give me any farm items? Things like how museum gives sprinklers or other stuff.
Or just useful items in general
i dun wanna spoil stuff but in the end game after becoming friend with the wizard you can do some special things
also he sends nice mail
Ah sick, ty. Also sorry for the barrages of questions. I've never really been one to play a game without help. Not exactly a good thing but oh well.
all good. There is a lot of content and small secrets everywhere in the game
just like become friends with people and inspect stuff
may I know what kind of floor you use around your farm?
Your sprinklers have overlap
Each sprinkler serves 5x5 (four tiles away from each other for max eff) but you have some only two or three away
Assess that and you grow some more crops
finally finished doing all the tweaks and all the re-texture mods i wanted so i believe this is the final product of this farm :D just need to finish the interior of my house now
btw can u post interiors here?
watching your farm designs makes me so insecure about my farm
this is so pretty AHHH
lolol don't be i just really love designing and decorating things
i kinda tend to focus on that a LOT
this is like my 4th redesign of this farm
it was my first farm ever from when i first got the game like 2 years ago?
that is... so pleasing to the eye
wood floors (bought from robin)
aww thank you!!
it's mainly the recolour i use for the game
DaisyNiko's Earthy Recolor
ok uh i have almost 2 stacks so why should i care and the area is legit un even
u have 2k sprinklers?
i dont exactly know if u can post interiors here but if i cant lmk and i'll remove it, but this is kinda a WIP of my farm house :D (just wish i hadn't agreed to adopt a second child cuz now i can't move that crib)
Your design so far is beautiful 😄 I love the bedroom especially
thank you!!! i really wanted a small bedroom and as soon as you could move the bed i moved it there immediately just never got motivated to decorate it til today
the bedroom and the "crafts" room (where i have both the furniture and the catalog) are my favorites so far
granted they are what i have actually completed but
i rlly love them
I wasn’t trying to criticize you lol
I was just letting you know
Any slime hutch design?
I would love for this to be mine like its so pretty and amazing
This is my basic design for all my slime hutches:
I only need the path to the trough because I'm on mobile; the sprinkler is for when 1.5 mobile comes out.
The slime balls spawn on naked floor only. You can give some floorspace up to other things if you want the hutch to pull double duty as a shed, but if you want slime balls you need to keep at least some floor bare.
aww tyyy
adorable farm! can i ask what/where that winery building is from ? ive never seen that before
Thank youu, and the winery is from Elle's Seasonal Buildings, it's one of the options for the slime hutch!!
Lmao I like your name
thanks i get that a lot
oh wowew thats super cute ty (:
summer year 2 😄
yw!!
woah this looks so nice
i can never pull off that new stone path but it looks so good on your farmmm omg
i still need to fill out the farm a lot. i am just upgrading my sheds rn
Not surprised
THE PIGS so cute
it's a visual mod called Elle's new barn animals 😄
Did you use mods for some furniture?
they're just re-textures but ya
Ooh okay
if u want i can send u the link to it
only part of my house I've decorated and that I'm happy with XD
I like how you put the flooring below the fireplace ... makes it look really authentic :3
that's pretty cool
❤️
love the northeast corner omg!!!!!!!
tyy it's kinda like a craft's room but it's where the furniture thing and the catalog are :)
i love the way it looks!!!! i'll have to post the interior to my farmhouse here soon, it looks kinda similar to yours in style
can i send my farmhouse here? 👀
Sure
here's my (unfinished and very modded) farmhouse!! the room to the right of the living room is going to be harvey's when he moves in, and the far right south room is empty because i have no idea what to do with it
i can tell you how to do better
ahem- slimeballs are dookie
just use a shed and a fence area
and just cram THOUSANDS into one 1x6 cell!
then when shit starts to LAG
you kill half the cell
BOOM YOU HAVE SLIME PRODUCE FOr FREE
That doesn't work so well on mobile; every day a bunch of the slimes spawn outside the cell
Maybe in a level 1 coop or cabin... 🤔
Can't do a cabin on mobile right now of course
Also free slime eggs will never drop unless you at least build a slime hutch and then destroy it

no that's why you use a shed
and ive tested that. they don't escape the shed and if they do? they despawn
They escape the fence of the cell though, so you have to keep rounding them up. Or leave them free and watch half the mating attempts fail because the two slimes are too far apart.
A small shed might work better.
nice! wish i was that organized LOL
the restaurant is done.

oh yea the true capitalism
also i have more designs
bus stop
my 6 y.o sister's farm hElp
yooo looks really cool!
The bus stop looks so pwetty
Anyone have pictures of their decorated sewer? Looking for ideas
Crop fairy came
you got piano and a bath! how nice!!!!
i ALWAYS grow my farm to max trees before i design
you get way cooler designs that way
Year 5 SP farm B) (Forest Farm)
My baby in summer ❤️
Im looking for ideas/tips ^ anything helps 🙂
Shall i buy something from halloween
switch from plant room to cacti garden
My design isn't as pretty as yours, but here it goes my farm. I need to swap the sprinklers, but I already had them pre 1.5
Question, where do the cows or what ever is in the barns go? Do they have to stay inside? Just wondering because I’ve always thought they needed a pen outside
they can roam around outside!
Oh cool. Do they just naturally go back inside at night?
yup at around 5pm i believe
they just naturally go into the barn
Oh great! That’s saves a lot of space aha
i do wanna put fencing around the barn in the future but im lazy and focusing on other stuff xD so for now the animals just wander around wherever to graze on grass
Aha, thanks! 😊
Btw your farm is super nice!
omg its not my farm lol
Oh LOL
it's @livid relic 's xD was just answering ur q
ofc!
They can roam outside, but they can also stay inside if you don't want them there
@livid relic You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels and share images in all channels!
thanks!
Could any of you help me with a beach layout design ,please?
Rate my design 🙂
really cool ,like a 10/10
But my outside design looks gross haha
kinda
could anyone ? pls
Unfinished bee farm
.
Click the magnifying glass icon at the top, type "beach", and then press Enter.
that bee farm is super cool, wow
Farm Summer Year 2. I am pretty new in the game but so far I am happy with how it looks. Any critic or recommendation will be appreciated
i love the cacti!
thanks
FR
ooo natural mushroom trees they are rare
Oh my god stop copying my house!!! (jk but it is so wild they look identical)
Wow, really? Then we must have similar tastes hahah. I've had this design since 1.3 (without the new rooms added in 1.5), I spent a lot of time designing it because I suck at decorating
What are ur fav farms people and why???
I love the forest farm best because it is the most beautiful, the hardwood is very generous and very useful for a long time and so is the forage to a lesser extent, and the shape helps me keep my farms from being too rigid and symmetrical.
Standard farm because of the space it offfers. All the other ones because they're more aesthetically pleasing.
At the moment forest farm. It kinda gives you zones that you can choose what to put in there, and also can bring you a good balance of aesthetics and efficiency. Also the farm is really pretty
I personally am getting sick of standard farm, I pack things too tightly and then have big empty spaces
Had the most fun with 4 Corners. It really offers a lot for decoration
Hey! This is my current farm house and I just dont know how to decorate the upper two rooms. Maybe someone here has any good Ideas.
Can babies grow without child beds?
tea area, art center, library (like Beauty and the beast), music area.. this is what i have done but have fun with it! 😅
omg thats gorgeous :o whats the name of the mod if I may ask?
how did u get the dark bed or is that a mod?
It's not a mod. It's 1.5 content.
It's the exotic double bed, but like said it would be a 1.5 spoiler to say how you get it
oh ok thanks ☺️
OK, I think I will try the art Center, thanks for the idea!
Hey does anybody have a good house interior they could put in chat? I need inspiration
Here's one of mine
I love this tysm
And a very slightly modded one (floors and wallpapers only)
wow! that is. amazing, i love it
My farm’s a mess but here it is, lol
I love how mesy and complex it is
Although I'd recommend using another path
what path?
I used stone floors
but it kinda looked weird
and I though the cobblestone path were quite cute idk
You could try with the stone walkway floor
this is how it looks like
i can’t believe how good all your guys designs are, i suck at seeing a vision and making it look a certain way so it’s inspiring to see all of these
Awe… too bad im on mobile
pretty sure those floor tyles are 1.4
Thought they arent? Imma check Robin
Slowly making decor progress
the keys to just seeing a vision of the base you want to create are talent and inspiration
sometimes, you just dont got the art in you, and thats fine
however, you sure as fuck cant make a farm design if you dont have a clue as to what you want to do
a good tip for you- add trees into the fencing and make sure to use GRAVEL pathing on the insides of the feilds.
avoid using braziers, and instead widen out the paths to have the fences actually connect- it'll make the build much much better
how add trees into the fencing?
also, they are from 1.5
I wish there was new game plus so I could try different farm maps with my character
Its really best to plan it
I had a plan but idk what happened
This was my plan, ignore the lack of scarecrows at the bottom right
lots of stone flooring
My farm now is kinda base on that I really just changed the path used and stuff
thats a lot of quality sprinklers
cobble and stepping stone are really best used to give an "off-road" vibe
^
Crystal path too for a little more color
I like to stay monotone lmao
I dont really like wood paths
Something I've started doing is "weaving" crystal path around irregular single stepping stone pieces when I make a two-tile-wide path
I didnt like too much stone floors too
idk why
cuz like, it looked like everything was just floor
they have a "unmaintained" feel that drives me crazy
like how I want to replace all the fences in the entire town
gravel is horrible
you know, those wood fences on the tip of your farm that you cant fix or replace
right side too
I can't find any way to make gravel look beautiful
true
fr
I put alot of braziers aroung my farnm
Ee
Ecyc e
I guess it looks good in winter...
I wish there was just normal dirt path
Like a darker than the farm’s dirt kind or path
idk
Like this
This makes me uncomfortable
Haha
i LOVE this, that's a genius idea!
yeah it looks so good
(1.5 stuff) any recommended place to put the cabin? I'm not able to fit it in the bottom left part.
succulents for json assets
and a rattan furniture and I can send you the file if you want
Can you put it in the bottom right by the trees?
Yes pls🥰
this has to be my favorite channel ❤️
I think this is enough to quuit sdv happily now
Nothing lasts forever. Every moment is meant to end. But this moment will stay till my last breath.
This has been an emotional journey to me, I will not forget this. Especially the moment I quitted smoking cigarettes due to playing Stardew Valley.
Hey, the game didn't make you quit smoking. You were the one who made the change, you made yourself quit smoking, and I think that's a huge achievement anyone can make
What happened?
Some spam with a suspicious download file
Got deleted at the speed of light cause junimos are the best
Oh
proud of you, man. Keep going and live a healthy life
Me: "after all this time i can post my perfect farm screenshoot!"
a thunderstorm yesterday: "yo hope ya don't mind that even if you have 30 lighting rods i stroke a tree"
How could you place hay blocks piled up?
i like how ya paths are not like straight and boxy. I like when paths wave around
Your farm looks very cool
I like that path so much!!
thanks guys
our farm 🙄
🙄
How did you make it so npcs wouldn't destroy it?
Hey y'all! I don't use mods but I think it would be really cool to make a spa on the beach. Do you have any suggestions for what to use to decorate?
||island farm||
love this simple rustic bedroom I just did for a couple of minutes
also ya'll really need this cacti and succulent mod if you want more cacti
I recommend putting the bee houses on the left part
You have some spots to put flowers and get better honey
And kegs at the bottom right if you don't care about the cloysters
I don't want to change my farm
Also don't want to occupy the beach
My farming plot is enough
I thought it would be satisfying to harvest all this... its hell
Yea
My current ||island farmhouse||. I like lights.
my storage room!! i love it so much
i love the rainbow chests and the alternating wood/stone!
Amazing job on the flooring, I really love the way you did it
That looks awesome
thank you!!
Oh my god this is sooo cool!! i love it

Started planning for my forest farm. Any suggestions would be welcome.
looking hot
P.S. I'm planning on moving the greenhouse to the green patch
for forest farm in particular - don't be afraid of sprinkler inefficiency
try to put things like buildings and fish ponds on top of green meadow tiles that you can't otherwise use
straight lines are your Enemy.
Planning outside of straight lines is hard. (For most of the farms anyway)
I'm open to the idea. I'm not sure how though
that's a 1.3 forest farm I played
It looks really nice 😩
the main thing is that you don't need to be afraid of sprinkler overlap
it looks much nicer (and is more efficient) to follow the 'lines' that the map gives you
than to force it to do straight lines
That's such simple advice, I wish I thought of it
aside from that - forest farm gives you a lot of "useless" green space, and it's "efficient" to put buildings there and save your tillable soil for crops.
I would normally suggest putting the obelisks nearer the farmhouse, but I see the little mini-obelisk in the centre, so I'll refrain. (Obelisks are teleportation devices, you want them to be convenient, not to have to walk across the entire farm to access them.)
Update
whats that blue glass thing between the two big trees? :0
that looks like a butterfly hutch to my eyes
it's available at the desert trader
I might be wrong and it might be something else..
can you post the whole farm here?
its a standard farm with a couple cabins, the rest not included is just debris and trees
Ill get an image

Are you using any mods with this?? Your island farm is an inspiration
Why so many sheds by the way?
I really love the farm
I love the beach farm :l just my favorite one so far.
Spring of Year two but here's my progress. How's it look?
you are late compared to my farm
no 😭
but probably i will fix this in a way that npcs won't break the things
Yeah I asked because your restaurant inspired a spa idea but when I was working npcs destroyed some of it.

trying to make ||my ginger island farm|| less industrial and actually add something a bit more cozy looking to it
@vagrant light put kegs there mostly
hmm?
Kegs
our storage room (communism intensifies)
ill just copy it anyways
Is there any way I could Improve this aesthetically?
I'd like to not care about overlapping iridium sprinklers so I could make it functional but I would like to make it pretty.
fix the sprinkers, add some fruit trees on the side
I'd like to not care about overlapping iridium sprinklers
Trees could work, but I'm not sure where to place them
it just infuriates me lmao
I'll fix it with pressure nozzles whenever I get them
...which will be in around 3 seasons
nice
Also in any case if I don't make them overlap it'll still consume the same space
also add some furnitures
ok i gtg
i have to reorganize my farm since i switched from standard to if2r, gl with your farm anyways @vagrant light
ty!
if2r is SOOOOO HUGE
i dont even know where to start ngl
i have a terrible pc but it can run the game smoothly in a large layout, grandpa lags for me
and np
My garden shed (: Any thoughts
Hi, I'm from brazil. I'm using google translate to talk to you guys and I wanted some tips on how to improve this layout because there are some empty spaces that I don't know what to put.
and just to explain the area of wood with gravel is to plant trees and giant mushrooms
for google translate that's damn good english
Para tradutor isso é muito bom inglês
Ya see any modded stuff? I only have reskinned silos on my main farm, other than that everything is vanilla
I think you should place the obelisks closer to the farm house
i havnt even planed out where my obelisk go.... i always forget that
Oh no I was just curious because the tables outside, sorry
thank you so mutch
@honest wadi you can also have some tapped trees in your farm
can anyone send some farm designs that look good or any farm tours?
when i want inspiration i usually just google search or sort through the images in this channel
everyone's taste is different so idk what "good" would mean
Ok thx
you can plant some flowers or something to make a garden
^ agree !!!
Do the junimo & squirrel ruin it?
Absolutely not. They complete it.
awsome!
tapper trees ffinallllyyy finished growing, my year 3 farm :)
don't care too much about metagaming so my crop space is quite limites as is obvious, still make around 10k a day which is all i want (plus ancient fruit wine weekly)
fish ponds have rainbow trout cos i really don't care that much about profit from them either and the tiny chance of getting a prismatic shard is just really cool imo
this is my first playthrough i'm sure i'm missing a tonne of stuff lol
just about ready to head to ginger island i just need the hardwood :P
*working on getting more beehives before planting flowers btw
consider using mod like harvest with scythe?
that is freaking adorbs
[image from google] anyone know how this person was able to put hay into separate areas and grow grass indoors?
You can use a grass starter inside the barn, not sure about the hay on the floor tho, that might be a mod? EDIT:Whoops I totally forgot about the straw path, sorry for the confusion and thank you to Pillow for the clarification
thanks !
the hay on the floor is a vanilla path
This makes me want stardew valley with ray-tracing
In small empty spaces, I like to put bee hives and a flower.
For now im just trying to get 100% fully vanilla
Omg I just started year 2 I'm on the second day of winter and my area isn't like that aa
wow I never know that we could use grass starter in the barn.. Thanks for the info!
Is there a benefit to putting grass in the barns or is just for aesthetics?
I love the squirrel, but the junimo plush feels like it stands out too much
My year 6 farm. Just started redesigning to make it look nice while waiting for the queen of sauce reruns to 100%
Any recommendations are welcome
I think the golden clock is much better in the middle of your farm
It's just for aesthetics I'm pretty sure
in front of greenhouse?
Im pretty sure Farm animals gets happy when theres grass outside
wait inside
whoops sorry
Yeah haha, you earn more friendship points by letting them eat outside :b
My 9 year farm only takes up the top right corner u r way better than me

does anyone have any good river land farm design?
If you put grass in the barn, the animals could eat that instead of hay, if I recall correctly.
Thank you !! >~<
Paint your buildings into a select color pallette (maybe red and brown?)
does anyone have a good ginger island house design? I need inspiration
heeey i hope this isnt a dumb question but is there a way to move the greenhouse in the planner?
Yeah I think u can in the new update..
wow
my jam sheds are painted red at the top and my wine sheds near the barns are painted purple, colour-coded to the products. The default shed next to the jam sheds are for crystalariums, and I can't paint that one. I think you can only paint fully upgraded buildings?
post a photo of it
I did the same except I use preserve jars for pickles so they're green. I also have 2 sheds for fish roe that are painted in aqua tones.
Other sheds are painted to match regrowable crops. I love the designing/decorating aspect of stardew
I really love the sprinkler spraying effect in the early morning
My friend's shed
I'm also from Brazil, hello! we can talk about it in portuguese, if you want just dm me!
Nice, I'll take some inspiration from it. I mean ill just copy that but im not gonna claim it as my own
LET'S GOOOOOO
Literally ALL I’ve fucking done all autumn
around 2-3 runs for 25 days of autumn
so however much that is
a goddamn lot
500 hours across Enter the Gungeon and Binding of isaac helped lol
top down shooters are my jam
Hello guys, i want to know is it profitable to make jam? If yes what jam is most expensive
my shed
jams better for worse selling crops iirc
you can do 2 rows of jars horizontally - access one row from the top and one from the bottom
err, rows that are 2 jars thick
not 2 rows
oh yeah i forgot ab that
always put extra fruits/veg after filling all your kegs, jams/pickles are worth a lot more than just selling the regular/quality harvests
Thanks for your answers
Your shed design is incredibly satisfying to look at.
Jam and pickles are always profitable, but there are breakpoints where it's more profitable to put the food in a keg instead.
For vegetables: the breakpoint is 200g base value (meaning what a version of the veggie with no stars would sell for - jars and kegs ignore stars, so if you have more than you can process you should sell the starred stuff and process the unstarred stuff). This means that below 200, pickles from the jar are worth more than juice from the keg. At 200 they are worth exactly the same (pickles would still be better here because they get finished faster, but no vegetable is worth exactly 200g base value). Above 200 juice is worth more than pickles. The most valuable pickles you can make below the breakpoint are cauliflower. The most valuable pickles you can make above the breakpoint are pumpkin (but pumpkin juice is worth more than pumpkin pickles).
For fruit: the breakpoint is 50g base value. Below 50, jelly from the jar is worth more than wine from the keg. At 50 they are worth exactly the same amount, but the jelly gets made quicker so it's still the better choice. Above 50 wine is worth more than jelly. The most valuable jelly you can make at/below 50g is blueberry and apricot. The jellies with the highest absolute value (but wine is worth more) are starfruit, ancient fruit, [s5] || pineapple ||, rhubarb, and melon.
to add on - of course, the jelly is much faster than the keg, it's twice as fast with vegetables and over 3x as fast with fruit, so while it's technically more worthwhile to keg cranberries (75g), you usually want to toss them in preserves jars instead, as well as most fruit which you get in bulk.
yah, but your limiting factor is more likely to be the plants in the endgame, making kegs more valuable to invest in
so realistically speaking crafting all those preserve jars when theyre just gonna get phased out by ancient fruits and starfruit? not worth
I expect it's likely that people are still planting some number of strawberries and cranberries even lategame
plus a supply of fruit tree fruit and fish roe
you still don't want to craft too many jars, I agree - but I suspect my personal number of "acceptable" jars is higher than yours
Yeah, I still grow a bunch of different crops, and I'm a big fan of preserves jars! Great for roe too
