You can take the hay out of the silo before feeding your animals. Then can put the hay in the chest and go clear some grass. Repeat until you cleared the grass and then can go feed the animals (just make sure to let it grow back :3)

The nice thing about flower honey is it's already as value-added as it's going to get the moment it comes out of the hive. No putting it in a secondary machine, no waiting, just straight from bee house to shipping bin.

dhashddhf its because my crop area was originally much smaller (ended right about where the halloween scarecrow is now) and i widened it to another area i was using for pretty much nothing ,,, ive tried to adjust it but this is the best i can get while still keeping my pathways LOL

plus originally there wasnt a way for me to get giant crops (all the crop areas were divided by those thingies in the bottom right crop area) so i had to adjust for that too

I used Wood Floor for most of pathing area. Then Stepping Stone Path in the left forest area. In the Obelisk/Gold Clock Area I've put different kinds (I think includes Crystal Floor, Stone Floor and Weathered Floor). Made the Farm before 1.4 Patch and didn't change much of the Paths. Don't know if I would use different flooring now 🙂

You currently have a 37 x 17 crop grid, if you reduce it slightly to 35 x 14 you can use pressure nozzles on 2 x 5 sprinkler grid and cover that space evenly and still have giant crops and your paths. Or enlarge it slightly to a 35 x 21 grid with 3 x 5 pressure nozzles grid and bump down the coops and other crop box 4 rows in the winter.

Having lots of grass is super great early on

One tip is to put grass on winter 28th, it'll spread very wildly on the next day spring and most debris won't spawn because of that

made a rotational grass grazing field myself here. Basically just fence in 2 areas and put gates. Also spread some single fences into the area and plant grass under it (animals can't eat grass planted under fences, but it keeps spreading when left alone). 28th of Winter is the only time I put grass starters for my animals. Hope it helps 🙂

Being able to balance aesthetic and efficiency is so hard lol, i always lean into one or the other

I normally go with 50% Crops until I have enough money. Then switch to smth like 20%-25% Crops on Farm (trying to cover each kind of crop per season by going with: 1 Crop per Iridium Sprinkler). Also ||Island Farm offers a good Space for more Crops, so can focus even more on aesthetics so it gives a bit more freedom to design.||
