Don't they die in winter?
Do you have a pic at all I can see and compare to?
They kind of hibernate, but still stay alive for when Spring comes back.
I think
Nope. they are all year
Took a lot of inspiration from other people - I come by the shrine every day in game in order to get some fresh tea leaves
Ooh good to know, thank you
I'll have to try teabush fences
That's lovely ^^
Thanks, Ive been having a lot of fun replaying stardew valley with all of the neat updates
So much to decorate with
Oooh... I really like the obelisk/greenhouse set up. I might try something like that, but will need to re-think my bee hives.
That's correct. I will sleep through the last bit of winter and get you a screenshot in the spring
Thank you! I appreciate it. <3
I have this at the moment. No pots on top, pots on bottom since there's wooden flooring underneath. But I'm wondering if I should switch them out to something else as a hedge separator.
@errant hearth There's my design with the hedges. Please excuse the start of season mess
What's this winery building? is it from a mod? o.o
Omg this is beautiful ❤️
is the grass modded to look like lavender fields?
I absolutely love the flowers.
modded
at this point i don't care about money anymore and just want to make my farm beautiful lmao
Loving it. I really need to look into modding once I got all the achievements
I would love to design a pretty farm like that
Looks nice
i took some inspiration from google just a little bit
I wish that this was in the game so that I’d have a special place to put my wine instead of having to put it into a shed or having to use the basement
I do that a lot
I based my tea shed design off of google heavily
same >.>
from this visual mod i especially like how the totems look
I might take some designs from that. I love how organized it is 😍
Yes! It's the Slime Hutch from Elle's Seasonal Buildings I believe.
when will stardew planner update for 1.5 changes?
I am also wondering... When was last time it was updated?
year 6 farm 🙂
I think I saw one in nexus today that said something about less yellow stardew valley?
lemme see if I can get you the link @gloomy pine
anyone else do a river farm, cause I need Ideas
thank you so much!
you're welcome!
Still not a final layout but the general layout is starting to shape up.
how do u guys take pictures of the whole area?
take screenshot
on planner website?
At the bottom of settings you can do it
oo thank u!!
I can't decide on the flooring for my fishing area, which one do yall think is better?
I prefer the stone <3
Yeah
Stone lookse more natural for the forest farm
stone fs
ok ty guys
maybe stone around the pond and the wooden paths leading to them
ohh thats a great idea, ty
Yay extra money hiding spots that don't look half bad.
[currently raining though, so there's that]
wow
that is a lot of wine hahaha
Spring year 5 🙂 Here’s my forest farm at dusk 🥰 just achieved perfection today 😇
Graaaats to you! :D
Looking to make a controller-friendly bee house layout around a single flower. This one so far has 31 bee houses; barely above 50% efficiency.
The only worry I have for that is accidentally picking the flower in the center. I always block mine off with the beehives and sprinkler so I don't accidentally pick it.
A legit concern when I'd just hold the button down while running around
Same what I do too.
I'll show you the design I use on PC and maybe you can modify it for controller
That looks pretty good, controller access means removing 6 of those
i accidentally harvest my flowers in this layout
ohh thats such a cute layout tho
Yeah I really love the cute flower beehive layouts but I pick the flowers all the time. x-x;;;
So far I came up with this if I allow 2 access points
Oh that's a neat concept!
Converting yours means removing 6 bee houses, leaving 28.
This one seems to allow for 35
Anyone have any links to farm plots with candy cane decorations?
Is there not a more effective design for bees?
They're trying to do one for controller access that can't get to diagonal corner blocks.
So they're working around limitations.
I think I can have a super effective design but I don't have how to show it
Able to get back to single-access point for same number of hives
I'll do it on my farm and then send a photo
I've been using the web planner and Snipping Tool
It gives me tock that only makes a flower I would put about 4 around a sprinkler and then I would start putting the beehives
That ends up with a larger footprint than I can afford in this instance but I can sketch the 4-flower setup out and see what I can accomplish
I just look at some of the farms and man I need more money and hay too
I got 44 here with the 4 flower setup.
hi what recolor/mod are u using for menu? I think I've asked u before and u said something about A Toned Down Stardew Valley. is this part of it?
Oh I missed a couple.
Yes, it is! :) Toned Down, Eemie's Map Recolour annnnd.. DaisyNiko's Earth Recolour
Are you using Vintage Interface, too?
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4697
Yes I am :)
46? Did I do this correctly?
I got 46 as well
thanks!
It is a 13x13 space compared to 11x11, but that's up to what you can fit in your farm.
You're welcome! I had to delete out the things I didn't want and keep the rest. Takes a bit but you'll get what you want!
yes. I feel like Im almost there
Y'all think this is a good fence for the animals? Or switch it up?
Single flower's 11x10 layout for 35 hives out of 59 potential spaces means 59.3% eff. (61 total hive-relevant spaces including flower and sprinkler).
Quad flowers' 11x12 layout for 46 hives out of 80 potential spaces means 57.5% eff. (85 total hive-relevant spaces including flowers and sprinkler).
I think 11 more hives is a nice trade off for not too big a space difference.
Just depends what you have room for though.
alas, I do not have said space for the 4-flower layout
Not unless I shift the junimo hut fields and animal pastures around
Hate when you get stuck on that tight of a budget. Lol
Thank you for the help in layout design, I'll see if I can incorporate the bigger layout in the future but for now I'm happy with the smaller one
Improvements to commence either if I make major changes to the farm's layout or if I enforce mouse & keyboard 😀
here's my terribly empty year 5 farm
i'll figure out what to do with the empty space eventually
I wanna make a fruit tree farm but apples dont grow unless the 8 tiles near it are empty, how should I do it?
or is it better to have it in the green house?
Technically the greenhouse since you would get fruit everyday
ooh okay
Theres a design that fits one of each fruit treee
my recommendation remove the top one and place so its a flat row then the sides do the same saves space and sorta easier harvest
anyone has any beautiful ||island|| farm designs? it doesn't need to be the most effective farm it should only look good.
oh I can’t be any help since mine is just filled with ancient fruit sorry
just a tip if it is, ya can place the signs on the fish pond themselves it will automatically tell you how many fish you have and what kind 🙂
+it looks good
year 3 spring 1 farm!
what mod is the fish ponds? this looks amazing tho!
medieval buildings!
Any tips how to improve farm?
is there any farm layout planner thing for mobile?
maybe add a spot for honey? it sells pretty good
Ok, thx
ducks swims in water so i think u should keep your duck coop near water
That’s only on the beach farm
I also like to place cherry trees near grandpas shrine
oh i didn't knew that
sad
i wish they would swim in my normal pond
Yeah
Summer 16. Year 2. Only using visual mods
Also works for the Riverland Farm 🙂
does anyone know if u can move the house? ://
Try at Robin's place
You can't move your house
Maybe it will work. You can move other buildings
even if its upgraded?:[
yes
I don’t think so
( @gloomy pine )
what!? huh thanks
no, that's on all farms
@wraith gust try with grass all around your ponds, makes it look really cool
Is this the farm layout ur gonna use?
Btw u dont have space for a ||ginger island obelisk|| there
You can be more productive with your grape vines
Good job muldel
thanks for the tip
Any main path ideas to use on the farms? I've been using rustic wood, but I would like to switch up into something that doesn't look ugly while curved.
Yeah I'll put the 2 obelisks left with the others
Waiting for the update release in mobile
What you mean
u can make a it like a pillar going all the way down
The plants in the low right corner are trees
instead of having a space inbetween each corner
ohhh
lmao
they looked like grape vines ngl
nope id say you've got everythin
they swim at any body of water
at least in my experience
i did this in my farm too!! it looks more cozy and greener
this makes me want to do a standard farm!!
@wraith gust @valid sluice you're welcome!
I'm so close my farm reaches final layout, decoration takes sooo long
Can't wait to show it up
@valid sluice nice mix between grass and wooden floor 🤟
I feel like I never have time for working on my farm design :(
you can design it at winter like i do.. but damn no idea
Last year I played with a forest farm til like year 4 I think? This year i started a new game with a 4 corners farm... I'm on fall year 2 and it's woefully minimal. I thought 4 corners might help me design it easier but now it kind of feels constraining
That's a great idea, thank you! I'll do that
Having straight paths and deliminated spaces really helps. Then you go area by area, keeping in mind everything nature related is good for your design. Grass, and trees that feels at the right place are unskippable.
*deliminated
(I guess, I'm french)
*shit, delimitated
*shit, don't have it 😂
i had a four corner i got to year 4 with but i wanted to have more of an open farm bc i loved riding my horse haha!
Assigned spaces maybe
Partly I have trouble deciding which corner to devote to what. Right now I have top left for crops, bottom left for animals... I think top right I might do a fruit tree orchard with flowers and hives?
Yes, I think "designated spaces" works well here :)
in the middle i would have put the golden clock
😍 I love it!!!
Pretty similar to what I had in mind, too. Definitely will be using this for inspiration
My farm is slowly taking shape
@native galleon 👍😂
What mod gives the pretty flowers?? I’m in love
Thank you so much!!!
Can anyone drop some of their beach layouts please because I’m absolutely stuck on what on earth I can do at the moment and struggling to find them all scrolling up, is it a rule to not really post beach farm layouts cause of the spoilers?
you're welcome!
Any ideas on how to improve this?
For the moment I'm thinking of putting the crops on the left side, honey on the right side and improve the pathway
Want to see my farm for inspiration?
sure!
It is on the forest
Of course! Wait a bit
@vagrant light there it is mate! Its not finished yet
But i think it will help!
yup
I personally really like the bottom right part
with the grass and stone pathways
:D
the parts with junimo huts seem unefficient
I know
Explain
you could replace 3×3 sprinklers with 5×5 sprinklers
squeeze that efficiency and make it up to 400
@vagrant light You leveled up to Cowpoke. You can now speak in our voice channels!
Yay!
Nice Lori!
I dont think theres space for that
Im gonna rework on my Farm
So i could do it
But theres no more space for that tho
Sorry to keep bugging you but I’m really curious what path mods etc you have, aesthetic mods because your games look is so aesthetic!!
gg lori
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1869 this is the mod i used to change the look of the game 🙂
and then i have Seasonal villager outfits as my last visual mod
i am in love with pastel colors so that is why i wanted to find more calm colors instead of the bright ones in the original design
OMG SO MANY HARDWOOD
Welcome to the forest farm
Can't say I notice much of a difference would need a side by side.
It just makes it more blue and calm, not the "biggest" change but nice on the eyes
woah! I've never used mobs but if I do they would only be Cosmetic, I do like that Lack of yellow quite saturated.
Yeah they Look Nice, may use them later On.
yeah! i also only use visual mods in my game and just a few quality of life mods like telling what luck i have and birthdays
Im the exact same! Thank you so much for sharing these
np!!
feel like I've finished my forest farm, it's at a pretty good point I would say! what do you folks think?
you go to Robin and click on the option to construct farm buildings, there you'll see a little paint brush along with the options to build, destroy and move!
oooohh ok thanks!
This is my first farm desing.
Sorry for bad photo.
Any improvements?
How do y'all like it?
Heres a better photo
are peppers a vegetable?
no, they're labeled as fruit
work shed yay
Oh i love that thats adorable
First post here! Wanted to see if anyone had and recommendations! (I know I didn’t buy enough strawberries this year lol)! Year 10 spring!
an update of my little house !
I love the wallpaper you chose!
thank you ! i almost spend a full day to choose them xDD
That’s so cute!!!! Very cottagecore and I am loving it!!!
????
Might be a bot that was banned
<@&239770080378880001>
who...
@ArthurF#6407 please keep stay on topic and don't post things that aren't in English
@reef wraith

I tried lol
looks like they left
Thanks for reporting
Mine doesn’t have that option does it unlock in the future somewhere?
it needs to be max lvl
i think mine unlocked when i was done upgrading the house, barn and coop, but i can't say for sure
yeah
its probably fine
nah it's not a big thing
im on pc, thats fine lol i havent fully upgraded the barn, coop, house etc so its probs that
okay!
thanks for answering!!
i looked at this photo and it just made me happy, thats looks like such a nice farm omg
I didn't fully update my house (but I updgraded at least my barn) and I think it unlocked
i like the layout, it looks nice with the curving paths everywhere 😄
thank you! I'm glad it made you happy 🤗
ahh that makes sense, thank you!
House
Thank you so much!
this looks so cool, i like the curved paths
Thank you!
ofc
Don’t worry I have it too it’s cool to design for me it’s « special »
heres my house i've been working on!
love it!
Holy wow !
Holy cow!

All these pretty houses. Meanwhile my bed is right next to my door.
while i was decorating my train station a train came by 😆
omg !!
I’m currently working on a year 2 Island farm, but I have saves going as far as year 11.
When the update mentioned moving beds, I was excited
stardew planner is so useful omg
Probably in the next update the beds will be able to be put outside, and tents would be a good idea (btw I don't think they do it, I'm just kidding)
imagine carrying a bed into the mines and when it hits 1:50 u place it and sleep
lol
Sharing a bed with a slime???
What
OomG
I got rid of the torches because they were ugly
UglY
Tbh I don’t see the difference sorry
They harvested and moved a few things near the main cabin
^ it had me doing this though for a second, ngl
Main cabin area is cleaned up
(Much love for young Pam)
c-can i steal part of the layout
they are the same picture tho
Hoe are y'all likeing my farm desing?
Its my first one
It's nice, but I think it's better to put fruit trees in the greenhouse
I will do tht too.
Ok noted
I like the kegs and preserve jars area
Very lightfull
I’d put the kegs and jars in double rows, as you can fit more there, but you’d honestly Prbly end up putting them in sheds.
And I don’t thing you’d be able to access the mill from that angle. I’m pretty sure you need to access it from the front.
????
why "???"
Fruit trees in greenhouse produce all year round instead of just one season like crops do
People that play stardew valley decide where they put fruittrees themself
Yes that's why they said "I think it's better"
it was just a recommendation bromie
^^
i have at least 2 of each tree in my greenhouse, but i like using them for decoration around my farm too tbh
Someone has a || beach farm || design?
@boreal hornet #farms-and-outfits message:SDVpuffersquee:
idk what to build under the shed on the right ... (i'm planning on building a second barn)
Many have a beach farm
Me and @hearty lily have no life
yes
noice
Whos hosband?
Hey you should spoiler that! @gloomy pine

Are you using pc or mobile?
PC
In the PC, when u are going to post the image theres a checkmark If the image is a spoiler or not
Just check that
Yeah, I know how to spoiler I'm asking why?
because ||beach farm|| is update talk, and it’s a spoiler for a lot of people
Ty.
so to keep from harming other people’s experiences, we spoiler them and let people choose if they wanna see them or not!
no problem!
@boreal hornet
Yeah! Any update talk needs to be spoilered, the only exception is #792314345018228737
cool map tho
any wilderness farm designs?
nice interior design 👀
a magic paradise 👁️👄👁️✨
can u tell me how directly or mark what area cuz i couldnt find it
have you found ||secret note #19||?
no whats the notes?
it is me again! lol I added a mod (Elle's Seasonal Buildings) and finished up the farm a little more, now I would say that I'm done, though I'm debating on also changing the look of the obelisks but I don't know about that, what would you do in my place? should I change the color of the walkways? rearrange something?
No real suggestion other than varying your paths a bit more imo. Also really amayzing looking farm
Your animals are so cute!
thank you! it's the mod Leh's Animals Overhaul, if I recall correctly! they be chonnnnnky™
Farm is starting to take shape!
This farm makes $1219 per day
they have seeds in them, so yes, they are a fruit
Took this on my Switch. My Year 2 Spring farm (or at least part of it.
Itll look better once I get my greenhouse
Nice, i like hidden silos, they look like some mysterious pillars
Yeah Forest Farm has a lot of potential to look good
I’m mostly proud of my pathway and the crafting area to the right
yes and yes
basically anything that has seeds under the skin is considered fruit
not all fruit is sweet
Gotcha
That really kinda cuts down the veggy ranks...
Celery & lettuce r safe i guess
I can't believe it took me 20 something years to find out the defining difference between fruit and vegetable
My farm seems to be funded primarily by mayonnaise and cheese
then you're a rancher
I do trees & Deep Woods
i sell everything that isnt a crafting material
Its embarassing how easy $ is
or that is a crafting material but ive already crafted the stuff i need it for
just get twelve stacks of 999 ||ancient fruit wine|| to ruin the economy
Nah... pierre has deep pockets
im pretty sure his pockets lead to the void
i find it hard to believe he can't match 50% off
Yah... he's singig such a sad song on the way to d bank
Sorry re spelling, im on tablet & funky touch keyboard
lol
my year 4 farm so far
Amazing!
Liked the bottom part
That Beach is quite empty though
But overall pretty cool farm
Thank you!

how’d you get the sprinklers on sand?
it's a mod!
oh ok
It’s beautiful
Lolll
wow, that looks really nice!
Still no greenhouse on 3rd year? Yer takin it on chill huh
I just never shave it
Only shave when winter is coming
I just have problems with the animal bundle
I need either a duck eggo or wool
Bro upgrade ur coop
Yeah ik i want to do that
But i cant earn money
I earn it and then it poof and gone
Somehow
Wow
River farm my fav layout ><
Bro i hate it and love it
Lol that’s what mine looks like for my second game. I just have no time to clear. You give me courage to be content! Lol
His silo is always well fed
My philosophy is I’m not gonna clear the space until I actually need the space/items. Otherwise stuff’ll just start growing back
I just dislike the fact that we can’t place floorpath on the bridge
True
Yeah, 240 in the silo and 2k in a chest
Goddamn Marnie is going bankrupt
thank you
:D
Screenshot of a screenshot, but the farm as it was last night near end of fall year 1. Pretty happy with how it's turned out so far, and with the various sources of income I've accumulated
Ooh, thank you. I think I had originally got some inspiration for it from a few pictures id seen here
Thank you???? I dont understand why u say this
I'm not sure, maybe not the best choice on my part lol. But glad my setup was able to help you in some way
A farm I've been working on for a while
oooooh pretty
it looks better in spring/summer/Autumn though
cos the animals are out and there is grass and crops then
My current farm (Autumn, Year 1)
Yay another river farm
river farm is pogchamp
can i show you my farm? its beach and im in spring y2 (keeping in mind its my first playthrough)
how do i do the screenshot thing
if you are on pc its shift + windows + s
wait i found it
in settings
damn it really doesnt wanna upload
its literally 1.28 megabites
and its taken over 30 seconds
there
feel free to reccomend any tips for it
omg i had no idea you could make your house look so cool
i just upgraded it
its the first upgrade (the one with the kitchen)
i need the kitchen upgrade to get a woman, kinda ironic /j i respect women
i just started this game
nice
i feel you, just remember #stardew-valley and the wiki is your friend
it helped me a lot
i know its taken me so much time to figure things out but then i looked up things and was like thank god
maybe bc its a compliment that you found their layout nice enough to use as inspiration for your own design?
Your animals are well-fed at least
And it's not like you need crops once you have the gold clock, really
It's not a normal save, I have umm.. mods?
I am more focused on decoration
I don't think Windmill is thaaat important. I barely use it and only have one because it looks nice. But someone may prove me wrong xD
This image is going to be outdated in some time, I'm remodeling the farm
(in the first picture it was 28 summer) I changed it a bit
anyone got a good slime hutch interior?
How many trees can I fit in a greenhouse?
18
Thanks, do I need to water them?
Nope
Awesome
You can put something on them so that they grow faster
But I don't think that in fruit trees you can
windmill is important for the ingredients u make for cooking (unless you buy from pierre's)
Yeah, tree fertilizer is just for standard trees like oak and pine
i dont post here very often but im finally happy with my farm layout (spring year 5) :D
It looks very nice! I like how you mixed in the cobblestones with the grass in front of your barn and coop.
thank you!
Why no junimo huts?
junimo huts would probably be helpful, yeah
this is my first playthrough so im still kinda a beginner at this stuff
If ur looking to redesign ur farm with junimo huts maybe this vid can help, I use this layout on my own farm
Hello there! Welcome back to another Stardew Valley video where I go over what is probably the most efficient auto farm you can make in Stardew Valley, if you value aesthetics over function, I have another similar video on my channel with another build!
- You can put a deluxe scarecrow right behind the junimo hut, it is almost invisible, and yo...
thanks, ill probably use this to integrate junimo huts because picking all the crops myself is kinda a pain
ikr yea, once u get junimo huts u get soo used to not picking crops that much
although I still pick my greenhouse crops for ancient fruit and also my ||ginger island ancient fruit crops||
i- how does your farm look that good on year 1 o-0 mine looked like garbage ._. (and it still does
)
1st of Summer, Year 1. Still a lot to do, i'll make a pond for every fish!
One more project completed.
how the heck do you guys take full farm screenshots
Read the pin above
piece of work from an old co-op. spring year two and im gonna try making it look decent by y3
Hi do some people have some green house layout I’m looking for best place to put sprinklers
The wiki page has several optimal layouts depending how far along you are in the game: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Greenhouse
whered u get those pictures?
||Fishing on the Island and Island Trader||
ohh i haven't seen them at ||island trader|| yet, tyvm
Quick question how do you hide pictures that have spoilers?
if youre on desktop, when you go to upload an image, there'll be a button that says mark as spoiler
Oh thank you! Is it not possible from a mobile device?
noooot in the app
on android at least, you can go into the file name and rename it with SPOILER_ at the front, and when you send it'll spoiler it
i dont know about ios
i think there is a way but its super complicated?
I'm pretty proud of this, i haven't design the rest of the island but, i think this is pretty good :3
I'm on mobile
I want to make this place look good and also get profit any tips?
Pure Sf or Af
Or a honey farm with af walkways
I am thinking of making a oak reisin farm, a fairy honey farm and i also want to trap a slime
Desert or Quarry are better for Oak resin farm
Those are good, if you dont want to get profit
I will fill the remaining areas with ||pineapples||
Late reply but if you have your own private server on discord and post it there first and then copy the image link and place the || on both sides of the pasted link and it should spoiler the pic
Here's my house design in Stardew valley
Here's mine
nice @gloomy pine who's spouse room is that one?
Looks like haley
yep
This is my home design
isn't the downmost room below the ground floor?
New chest room
not really a layout but this what i see everytime i exit my house hehe
i like the different paths to add a difference
I need to figure out what to do with the kitchen, but I'm pretty happy with how my house turned out (co-op farm, end of fall year 2)
And maybe more lights upstairs
Where is the full picture
Im not ready to show it yet, theres still a lot of trees and empty space. When im ready, i will show it full
Its actually hard to make my farm red, since its my fav color, im revolving my farm around itttt
@SunnyKettle#4916 wait! I think I have seen you in the terraria server
@SunnyKettle#4916
@SunnyKettle#4916
@SunnyKettle#4916
why!!!?
someone please ping him for me
maybe you can reply to one of his messages, doesn't that tag automatically?
this looks so nice. looking forward to the full design
.
Sorry wrong chat lol
I dont think theyre in the server anymore
I'm still working on it
I like how u made use of the haybales so creativee
ah i love ittt ❤️
really amazing
I agree
This was going to be a co op but my friend never came 😦
Year 7 Winter. Still trying to hoard everything haha
nice
This is my full farm in fall. Still need a lot of work, but its coming out nicely. Will probably replace the fish ponds with a fruit tree farm or syrup farm at some point
They left the server
i just started a new save and i chose the hilltop farm cause in my previous saves i've either done the standard or forest farm and idk i wanted to try something new, how is the hilltop farm in your opinion
Hilltop: at some point you have to ask yourself if you're using the mini-quarry or if you would rather pave it over and build something there. I ended up doing the latter. The layout is interesting to design on because it's naturally divided like riverlands, but into strips more than chunks. If you want junimo huts you have to accept you won't manage a full 17x17 square.
cool, i wanted to try something different than the what i normally did and i just wanted to know if i made a good decision by choosing the hilltop farm or not 😄
I picked up the game recently and chose hilltop as my first farm, it has a pretty aesthetic but your space is quite limited
It's only after joining here I saw how big the other farms are
I like the challenges of the more limited maps, especially when they're asymmetrical
Too much freedom, like the standard map, leads to me building rigid grid shapes that I end up hating
Oh yes I paved over my quarry too, it provided some benefit early game but the advantage dropped off pretty quickly
Imo
Hilltop would be the best for some sort of "pacifist" run where you stayed out of the mines
Although your mine floors affect what spawns both in that mini-quarry and in the big quarry
Hilltop is my 3rd fave layout, the only issue i have with it is that some shortcits are blocked off
The quarry i think would be a good place for the slime hutch, im not sure it will fit tho
But yah hilltop is a good one for a challenge
It's enough for a hutch or a couple of barns, I used it as a tree orchard
Woah, rhats a good choice
I wish we could plant in the quarry, it would really be a good grape orchard hahah
i think my main favourite is the forest one
Yess, its good esp for begginers
it has a bit of limited farming spaces which is fine for me cause that’s something I struggle on lol, and idk there’s something about it that’s so pretty to me
The green spaces are the best soaces to place buildings
yeah, i think i might just stay with the forest farm for now and do a new save with a different layout if im bored
The wilderness is my fav, despite there being monsters, the layout is really beautiful and unique
I tried that, there were some things i didnt expect
Huhu trying to keep things minimal for those who dont want spoilers
I play on mobile for a couple different reasons, 1.It’s easier to do the controls on mobile than a pc for me anyway
2. My pc isn’t in my room it’s in the basement and frankly I don’t wanna walk down to the basement every time I wanna play it
3. I don’t have a switch, i would definitely play on a switch more if i had one
I got it on psn and regret not getting it on the switch
My phone broke and i had sdv there, and i got my pc and i dow loaded there, i had to start all over again. But mobile was wayy betterr
||i do know about a bunch of the stuff in the 1.5 update but sadly i can't actually play them cause i play on mobile||
Eric made a tweet it will be in this year
Maybe his status says hes idle bc hes working on it hahaha
controls are definitely a lot easier for me than on pc
except for fishing...fishing is never easy lmao
Fisihing is ok for me, i struggle a bit at times even though im been playing for a long time
But once u get used to it, its more natural compared to before
yeah, i guess i was just never good at it on pc, getting back into it when i started playing it again on mobile was super hard but i think i'm starting to get the hang of it
true
Ok imma sleep now, its 1 am in my country hahaha
goodnight then : D
gn :D
I disagree
i have question, someone know any site where i can design my farm until im gonna do it in game?
i dont know where to ask this question
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
omg thanks!!
you can design it here until your ready to do it on your actual farm 🙂
well it is for me lol
my year 8 house
wow is very pretty, I really like the combination between natural and wood and green
That looks sick
Thanks. Putting the finishing touches on Cindersap forest currently and then the entire world is decorated.
Well good luck!
tysm
ur mountain design is really nice i love all the mushroom trees
Hmmmn ..
something happens?
maru :>
gud choice
how did you put the mushroom tree all over the quarry
||1.5 has mushroom tree seeds||
ohhh right i forgot, i didnt use it that much
I like the unconventional layout of your crops
actually they are all set up for full efficiency from fountains
don't think it was a criticism 🙂 Think they were genuinely complementing
Yea its interesting to see a layout without the typical iridium sprinklers
It looks a little complicated to harvest, nice design though
||Junimo's gonna come in clutch later||
Did get me wondering why Iridium sprinklers don't have a span similiar to that of a scarecrow
Makes sense
@queen scarab @normal vortex @gloomy pine first outdoor area is ready! Pinging as promised, this is the outdoor area of the tea house, what do you think?
suppose given the fact that each sprinkler has a nozzle on each side would correspond with '2 spaces out' but does get me thinking on different ways to give a layout for the crops, ty @tender chasm for giving ideas
how do you place furniture outside?
It's a 1.5 feature
Yes
I LOOOOOOOVE IT SM
Would you change something? (I'm missing light sources in here though)
i would maybe add more types of plants, there's also a lot going on there, but I mean thats just my opinion, still looks rlly good
Plants like the decorative ones or actual planting?
I did want to create a patio type of place with different little spots, I didn't want them all to look the same (which probably adds to the "lot going on" feel). Maybe the tea bushes a bit all over the place though
And I love me some asymmetrical paths
U can get mushroom trees in the quarry?
||You can buy mushroom seeds in qi shop on ginger island||
Ohhh ok *cries in mobile player
Oof
the decorative ones when you step outside
I love it!!!
As a console player I'm jealous of your pretty mods
here is my 4-Corners-Farm. Not sure yet about my Junimo Forest in front of the house. Maybe there are a bit too many trees (some still growing)? (End of Summer Year 5)
What wallpaper is that top left room?
sorry can't help more than showing u a picture since they dont have names, but its the cloudy one that u find in the wallpaper catalog
the junimo forest looks really good
but if u want to change it then u can add some of the potted plants u get from the catalog to replace the trees
I think I will take down some trees ... too much is hidden under them
are there any things i have to do before i can paint buildings?
all these farms are so beautiful
||I believe that gets unlocked after the second farmhouse upgrade||
okay i am home now! i absolutely love it! what does it look like at night?
Give me a bit so it's night time, I'll share

Night time just for you @queen scarab
I did some small changes also
Thoughts? Suggestions?
oooooo
i kind of feel liek the patios are a bit dark
would make nighttime romancin' tuff
sorry went off to put clothes on lol
Lol, it's true, I was thinking maybe a bit more light would be better
I'll work a bit more on the lights
what are your light sources?? are they lamp posts hidden behind other stuff or?
Yeah, they're lamp posts in some cases and torches in others, most hidden behind stuff
except the one right next to the shed, that's visible
oohh i see i see ty
Are you using a modified farm?
I can't wait to be able to put furniture outside
my first farm, spring year 5
74% of the way to perfection
Yes, I'm using a modded farm
Anyone have suggestions for this farm?
how about some fish ponds?
nah i thought that bush was a tree
looks fine to me I just don't know why your growing wheat?
what are these?
HD 4K Quality btw
Giant plants
They have a chance from happening
If have some plants together they might grow into a giant one
Not that
The houses?
Yes
True dat
But sometimes I get bored
That's why I come to #farms-and-outfits because it gives me ideas
Same
They're obelisks.
Left to right: Mines, Beach, Desert, Island
I'm bored at the moment and don't know what else to put on the farm so I guess I'll close out of it for today.
Summer 25, year 1
For some reason I'm starting to love curved pathways
Any tips on improving the aesthetics? I will soonly curve up some paths, decorate the hardwood and ||meteor||
try to grow some big crops around meteor?
hmm I had thought of decorating it with rocks
But I'll try giant crops if I'm lucky enough
you need to keep watering already grown crops, it'll be easier this way
plant 3x3 around it
yeaye
and keep watering after it grows
what should i add in the big space
caution with acidental pickups
idk what to put in the 9x9 squares
flowers maybe?
oooh yeah!!! thats good
or tea leaves, or sappling don't remember the name
||yeah i just dont know what color too||
||i wish they had white paint in the colors huhu, the choice i had at first was painting the outside grey||
||u can try adding the gold clock in the middle and add some tiles or objects, or maybe even benchesss||
i cannot afford that :,)
same but it would be nice once u have it already, it can be an inspiration to grind harderrr
ooohhh
A work in progress, but progress none the less
cool!
The final evolution of my maximization for Ancient fruit. If i would have exclusively used all areas for keg sheds and AF then i might have maximized further by around 20-25%
current profit per year is around 85 million
at max capacity this can reach 100-110 million
especially if processors are placed outside the farm (and maybe SF is used on GI)
This farm also uses the ginger island land area btw
if the farm was on the main farm alone it may only reach around 50-60 million
Wow...
thanks so much for your ideas
how can you take it
Pickaxe
Take one row then pickaxe the casks then repeat. It takes a while but I only have to do it 2-3 times a year
Work in progress
@worldly dagger shit man that's so obvious, I've been blind to such an evidence 😯
@gray vault lovin' your farm, suite different from mine but with serious similiarities
*quite
I didn’t think about it either until I actually tried to make room I accidentally filled a cask that was out of my way and thought what if u just did that lol
cant you hoe the casks instead of pickaxe to gather faster?
Gosh
I think 186 casks give or take
Yes you can.. I just said pickaxe I have very un-literal slang lol
How is yours looking like?
@worldly dagger 👍
@gray vault can't wait to show it up but it still needs some work
Objective spring Y7
What year did your farms start looking completed?
I'm on Y3 at the moment but still feels like there's lots to do
BeeHives for extra money?
I normally go mostly on profit and efficiency until I have enough money to buy all the things I want/need. After that I slowly start to focus on decoration
On both my farms I started to redesign my farm around the 5th year
It's a great place, but I can't find a single light source?
I like the fact that u used a similar style of my "messy style" to decorate a place for a single cabin. After all, it's our farmhand house
The combination of fences + grass in the outside and fences + decos in the corners is really something I really like
I did add some light sources later, and made some small changes.. this is a night view. It still needs a bit more light though
Decos in the corners of the fences was something to definitely avoid the place looking too square
@velvet patrol i stopped thinking about general layout since Y4 i guess. Since then i've been focusing on details and making it look "alive". I'm so close, just saving for the clock, find a right place for it. Then my ponds, and one last small space i have to fill.
*finding
@inner flicker that's good to hear, I think I focused too much on making mine look pretty too early on haha
@velvet patrol well you have to unlock everything before making big decisions. OR, for exemple, if you know for sure you'll go full pigs/ancient wine, you're already halfway done.
If you have your structure, then it's just about making it look pretty.
But it's all about details actually. Just one tiny but beautiful idea could bring your farm just what it needs to be remembered.
But yeah, you have to make choices, and then stick to them. But if you already have the big picture in mind, your farm will take shape slowly but surely.
i love making a farm from just what i feel like a the time, i normally never design a farm after a plan or anything, i just add what would look neat or organise it as i want
Same
Ahahaha, just my own way of course!
normally in winter i do a lil layout for certain areas i want, untill then i just place it whereever
@inner flicker aww I like the way you worded that
winter is always a good time for changing the layout. Especially when you want to move buildings.
My farm is definitely fashion over function but it's all about having fun in the end I guess 😂
I always try to do some kind of mix, but eventually I mostly want it to look nice
Sometimes I leave my gates open and my animals eat away all my hard work 🥲
ah yea... I know the feel. Would be so nice, if we had some kind of Gates, which can only be passed by player
living room design, suggestions?
a Fireplace would make it a bit more comfy maybe?
hmm...
tea set?
might make it too crammed
well if you have one, then you can try. But I agree, it may be too crammed. Better make another room a Tea/Coffee room maybe
yeah
i'm struggling to decide what to put in the big entrance room
i only finished designing living room, chest room, abby's room and aquarium, don't know what to do for the rest yet
maybe make a Tea/Coffee Corner there? Also can make use of it every day, since you pass by it each morning (like the ||Coffee machine from Special Quest||
i already have ||coffee machine|| in kitchen, seem suitable
oh true, I didn't see it
wish i could put china cabinet in that slot but its too big
there are barely any furnitures that can match with that little space
wish there were bathroom options 😅
what if you ||remove the wall between the corner and bedroom||?
and then just make the bedroom bigger?

less space = less brain needed for design
you can also put some of your favourite or rare items there. Like a small exhibition? I made a small room like this for example:
ooo that looks nice
Also had this for a while (before 1.5 patch)
i like your coffee/tea corner idea, i think ill just make that room a relaxing/family room, tea, drinks, snacks/food on display and entertainments, arcades etc
i already crammed all my exhibitions in the chest room 😓
had this too for a long time for the corner. Maybe will help a bit with inspiration
since you said you had a Tea Set, you can maybe put it there
oh, that's a item? i just said tea set as a general term
ohh I get it. Yea there is a Tea Set you can get as gift from Feast of the Winter Star (still hoping to get it some day). So I thought you meant that
its ok, that sounds so rare
@stable elk where did you find these small junimo toys?
Their in the cinema after u demolish the joja mart
very cute :3
the farm planner actually really helps cause then i don't have to wing it when it comes to designing my farm 😄 (my last farm was all messy cause i just put things wherever)
Nusery design, thoughts?
Well the middle path’s completely empty, only problem is getting to the ||catalog||
yeah
i'm on the planner rn and i wanna try doing some path's but im horrible at path desings
I tried to make this place look good
ooo that's very cool i like it
for some reason the ||banana trees|| are not growing
No they just take extremely long to grow
i get a message "your ||banana tree|| was unable to grow last night"
Because of all the wild grass around it
I will try removing them
||Fruit trees can’t grow when their 3x3 space is obstructed/will be obstructed||
I hope this farm will make good profit
You can put all the wild grass you want when it finish growing
I thought of putting a ||tiger slime|| near the mushroom tree but the slime despawned
i think if you ||hatch tiger slime eggs with slime incubator|| in there, they won’t despawn, not sure though
i hatched it with incubator
this is kinda my farm design so far, any thoughts?
i'm still working on some spaces
Hey
Do you want to see some inspiration on my year 3 Farm?
Its also forest
@tired sorrel
Sorry If the ping was incovienent
ooo very cool
i've only done pathing for my little gardens so far cause i'm horrible at path designs
im also still trying to figure out what om gonna do with the big empty space at the bottom lol
@tired sorrel it looks very symmetrical and efficient!
thank you :]!
But a lot of blank areas
yeah, there's still some areas i'm trying to figure out what to use for
It's coming along nicely 👍
I like it! I'd suggest putting the coop and barn closer to each other tho so it's easier to collect the items
i still have this big empty space i wanna figure out what to use for but otherwise i think i’m almost done 😃
and pathing for me is horrible so i think i'm just gonna wing that part when i get there
maybe i’ll just make that part a flower garden idk lol
i mean thats all good farming space, i think u should use the grassy areas for ur flower garden instead
youre year 3 and you junimo hats ?? whoaahh
Its not that hard to get those
what you guys think of this room ?:3
how much do you need to get these?
Really cozy! Amazing
i dont have starfruits :// where do i get these ?
True, I think I’ll try to expand my garden
For the crops lol
After finishing the money bundle
lmao i completely forgot abt her existence :((
