Despite the fact they have nothing to do but wander around all day, I'd be worried about the ability of the middle barn animals to find grass. You'll quickly see the grass near the entryway eaten up, and only the corners will remain.

it's not about the "body" of the tree, is the foliage. for normal trees, the foliage space doesn't matter, but the rule is different for fruit trees

If you play on PC

Instead of starting a plan from scratch, load a save. That is currently causing a greenhouse duplicate that you CAN move around.

Also, if you toggle the restrictions off, you can put other stuff on top of the original gh

anytime you put down flooring like that you're stopping weeds and debris from spawning and potentially spreading and breaking your stuff so its very safe here

@gloomy pine yes, the quarry does get stone daily, so hopefully the path stops it from spawning. I also did it for ascetic reasons. (Also it’s crystal path)

I find kids rooms hard to make because of a lack of stuff I’d like to put in it.

There is also little space if you choose to use one of the top rooms of the house, which most people I see do.

you could/should put kegs & preserver things in a shed

frees up space for more crops, plus you can put beehouse where they are now if you grow flowers at all

I mean the only decor items i have on the farm rn are fences surrouning the center grass blob so my animals are contained

im kinda free roaming them but also most of their grass is right there so they tend to stay around that area

i rlly like the forest farm layouts where ppl put animal sheds in the foragables spawn area, where the hardwood stumps are. i think it tends to look super good. was honestly thinking of moving them there myself and turning that top bit into more tilled land

been playing on switch a lot recently instead and i gotta say overall I think i like the controller feel for this game better than keyboard, tho placing things can be kinda whack for someone not used to it
