i would plant grass for your animals and remove the flooring there (unless you dont have pigs) , decorate the area in the top right, with trees (maybe campfires, beehouses, furnaces, kegs, etc)

I have a question about planting grass for animals. If I plant it on a non tillable square, ie grass, will it regrow or will my animals just devour it? I really want to set up my coop and barn on the left area of the forage map but I'm worried about grass

it will grow back very slowly but your animals will probably eat it quicker which is why some people put fences or lightning rods on top of grass starters so that the grass has time to grow

I start making preserve jars early on and at least one seed maker. Early on, corn seeds sell better than normal or silver corn

Yeah those were big for me. I wanted to make something simple and vanilla, but more efficient. I ended up making the vanilla map more square with less stuff in the way, then added some water after year one.

The 3 trees row that's a bit in front of the slime hutch won't grow in game, unless you have some mod, they need 1 space between each other

Unless you have them for aesthetics you can definitely get by with just one Mill (they're pretty though, I've found myself decorating with a mill so I can't blame that)

And this is completely personal taste: I'd change the stone for a lighter flooring, I know many people like it, for me it takes away the natural "I'm in a farm" feel

we are now just expanding the farm to allow more and larger farm zones for each farmer, we will have the vanilla side for those who choose not to use mods and then have the modded side

What do you guys think of the new and upgraded Community Farm, on the Standard Farm side we can house 13 farmers and on the extended side we can house 8+

We have on the farm two automated fruit tree zones, located bottom right of the standard farm and next to the two wells in the extended farm, we also have automatic Mushroom collection in the cave, two modded silos which each hold something like 28k

I plan to establish an automatic Maple Syrup, Oak Resin & Pine Tar set up outside of the farm potentially next to the train station since they take so long to process
