@eternal trail I downloaded like, 30 crop mods so I could keep cropping away and planted all the different kinds of fruit trees all over as I was downloading new ones, so I don't really feel like this is a super optimized design. But I put honey over there past the left fence, animals in the specialized animal pen, and I sorta have 4ish defined crop spaces.

LOL it's the Immersive Farm 2 Remastered that comes with SVE. Dalekrek asked for an example of what someone had done with it in #archived-modded-support so I dropped mine here. Believe it or not, I think my greenhouse is bigger than the farm itself-BennyB's Divine Greenhouse. I'm still working on filling that up, so I'm totally ignoring the massive tree issues. Thank goodness the tractor mod works inside, is all I got to say about that greenhouse.

I would move the horse stable closer to your home.
Not sure of cabins are for aesthetic or multi but it looks good. If multi I'd consider adding stables for each active player too.
I also love the crop space and symmetry. Watch your tiling around the animals area. Tiles = less opportune space for truffles.

So, the beauty of your farm + mods made me think a few seconds before realizing its actually a four corners farm. I thought it was custom LOL.
I'd love to know the mods your using for your fencing and what it replaces.
SO! Lets break it down, yeah?
Rearranging is necessary.

If you're doing a tap farm in the LRQ [Lower Right Quadrant] then i'd suggest eventually moving it off farm.

I'd keep your barn/coop animals to one quadrant of your choosing. Pigs need more fenced area than your chickens do cause truffles.

My suggestion is more crop space!

Please keep the path you got going on to the cave, it looks super cute. In preference of symmetry i'd even out the center tiling a bit though somehow.
You have a LOT of good elements, you just need to coordinate a home for everything to get a clearer picture and it all should fall into place, I iamgine.

Thank you ahahaha! Yeah when we laid out all the pathing we hadn't downloaded any mods yet, so I was considering just redoing it all to match the aesthetics of the mods I chose! I didn't know I could move the tap farm off of the farm So I'm definitely going to look into that!!! I was trying to figure out a place to relocate the fish ponds, and if I move the tappers out I can do it there. and make more space for crops. Thank you for this! I have a ton of new ideas now! Even if you hate farming, expanding it just a little more wouldnt hurt you in the long run!
The layout is pretty and symmetrical. There is a lot of excess grass but that isnt a problem if you like the aesthetic and bonus if your animals are roaming free instead of penned.
If you're going for aesthetic may I suggest adding some sort of shape instead of just squares? This easy to make things body in planner but you may be happier with something circular, oval, or even geometric altogether.

Do you have lightning rods? If you dont I suggest spreading them out around your ceop space so they will strike them instead of your crops. Maybe some near your fruit trees as well.

I feel overall you have a lot of free space to deal with. The standard farm isnt one I would recommend with how you feel towards farming. It's got some of the most free fillable soil there is.

Dont forget you can always treat the golden clock like a feature and decorate around it. Same with wells.

And most importantly, don't forget to make room for obelisks which make transportation so much easier!

You could put the shed over onto the side - the one in the center below the animal pens and then expand the animal pen a good ways.

More lightning rods will benefit you - perhaps around your crop space. You could put a well in that empty space also for decoration, or a mill.

You've got things lined up swell for functionality! But you can also spread them out a bit more to help cover empty spaces AND make it look pretty! Why not move your crop space away from the center pen a tile or two to help cover the space? You can also shift it up a pixel or two and border it with a pathway which will help you navigate faster around your farm.

Other suggestions would be a beehive display as well in that space to the left hand side of your crops. Can put that shed there on the upper portion , and perhaps some beehives? Theres a lot you can do!

I'll fiddle with your layout myself tonight @severe dock to give you a better idea of what I mean - as a suggestion of course.

I think the more accurate statement is the more hearts they have the more truffles they'll find. They can find up to 3 a day per pig so if you have a single barn full of nothing but pigs you get up to 36 truffles a day. So take a season without a single day of rain and 36 truffles a day... you get a little over 1K truffles. IT's pretty nuts.

I'm on my first month y1 but I want to know how to make battery?

I usually have a bunch of lightning rods by summer on the first year

the batteries give a ton of money and if your smart and make tons you could be making thousands of gold everytime it rains during the summer

I would maybe swap the cobblestone paths out for the brick or weathered and then where you have crops etc with the brick change them to the cobblestone? Giv eit a fuller look, perhaps.

But that's really the ONLY thing. It is pleasing to look at.

It's a cabin, when you play in multiplayer it's where the other players live

and in single-player it is where you rush to at 1:30 AM so you have somewhere to sleep before you pass out since your own house is too far 😄

In multiplayer the time is always the same for everyone and never stops or pauses

there is a mod that will pause time if all players are doing something that would pause time in single-player though (say you have a three-player game and one of you's wrestling a fish, one's rooting through a chest, and one just triggered a cutscene, time would pause)

Well, if the host uses a pause command or leaves the game, it stops

And yes - that one is Multiplayer Time mod, and it's very helpful

I am getting lots of giant crops in this farm. My guess is it's cause of the larger fields, but it still seems magical lol

Mine's still a WIP, gotta upgrade the Coops and Barns to their max, still need to get animals for them, then I need to build some more silos, some sheds, a tractor garage, and I have no idea what to put in the Slime Hutch spot because I don't plan on raising Slimes anytime soon

I'm currently rearranging my farm....going to move the hutch down to the pond area when my well is done, and the top left quadrant will be all farming area. Should I build another coop/barn and have 4 in the one quadrant? Or just leave it at one each? Or separate them into 2 quadrants? This is my first farm and it was chosen/made with no mods initially. Gotta make do with the little space :c

Think of barns/coops like resources in respect to how many you need. What resources are you receiving from each building and is it enough for you to sustain with how you play on your farm? Or is it lacking? If you find your resources lacking, add another.

The four corners farm actually has some of the highest tile space there is in the game. Its all how you position things but I have faith that you'll find a home for everything! I'd keep all my animals in one space out of preference.
