Their roe spawning rate can be very random, so if you are unlucky it can be underwhelming. But when they do spawn roe, it is very valuable.

For instance the legend has a 9% daily chance to spawn from 1 to 8 roe.

With the proper professionn, each roe translates into 7Kg though.

i think they should still be more or less profitable, i just placed them all in fish ponds for aesthetic purposes

but the added benefit of being that valuable is great

When I check a blobfish/lava eel ponds, I know, most of the time I will get something, so it is not wasted time. On average, legendary fish pond should make more money, but it remains more annoying.

When you are near Willy's shop, on the bridge, sometimes, you will see the head of the swamp creature swimming away of the shore.

Then in the cindersap forest, near the wizard tower, when it is night, you can see the shadow of a huge creature, looking like the big foot. Maybe it can happen somewhere else, but that is where I saw it.

It's ok, but honestly you naturally get everything you need, if you fish. Flounder and midnight carp are also part of a nice meal that gives +4 to fishing. I did it in a past run, it was not necessary and overkill.

Fish ponds are not the best investment and having a bad fish pond is even worse.

I have 3 fish smokers and that is enough. I usually come back home with around 10 super cucumbers, it does not take much time to process them. I do not think smoking more than the really best fish is worth the player time. But if you want a challenge, why not.

Apparently stardrop tea doesnt show up on the gift log, which i havent seen mentioned anywhere, does anyone know if theres any other items that are giftable but wont show on the log? Once you get 10 in all the skills. You start to level up a bar. You have to fill it multiple times. But after the first time you can go to a secret door. Inside you can pick the “Combat Mastery” part. Then to find the trinkets themselves, you have to go in the mines/Skull mines/Quarry mines and kill the monsters. They will drop randomly.

15 staircases is enough to get to level 100. Bombs and stacked speed buffs are key. Level 100 guarantees a reward and 50+ increases chances for iridium. Friendship can be achieved in a few iridium gifts.

During the first green you encounter, you will find green star shaped seeds that can grow trees that will stimulate moss growth on nearby trees if itself it has moss.

But trees will end up growing moss naturally even without that, if they are old enough.

I mean, hops is the best crop in the game in terms of g per day but it's not used by most people. Why? Too much time wasted

It's just that in practice it's usually better to make more kegs/jars as we don't really care about how much space it uses

Because you can place machines pretty much anywhere you want outside of your farm

Because if you want to play Stardew, quote en quote "like a normal person" (As in, not flooding the local quarry / bus tunnel which you do not own with kegs) you have a more strict amount of space on your farm

Meaning dehydrators are more space efficient than kegs, and in theory, you can use up all your fruit in 5x less time because each dehydrator takes 5 fruit, instead of a 1:1 ratio with kegs if any of that makes sense

At least, with a single pass, not with the wait time difference.
