Wine empire is more reliable, less random. I have had legendary fish for seasons now, and while they spawn big numbers once a season, I often get 4-5 days without anything spawning. It gives a nice amount of money and I would go for them over fruit trees or regular animals any day. But starfruit wine empire is a bulldozer.

I've done it before, using energy once to cross the lava lake to get into the volcano dungeon. but now the infinite energy days make it possible to do that without actually using energy

The lost item collector mechanic was not coded yet when it happened to you. So your sewing machine has been forgotten by the game. There is most likely no chance you recover it.

It's good to have diversity. You get extra points for different categories, and high value/quality. So try having high value of at least 1 fruit, vegetable, flower, animal product, mineral...
