so the challenge is to perfect catch every legendary fish w/ challenge bait and get a chest with at least 2 roe

so then you get the bait, fish, smoked fish, roe, and aged roe versions of every legendary fish

and having the capability to put them in fish ponds makes this wayyy easier

If you go onto the wiki it has all the information on there, the racoons have 5 set request types and will just randomize them at the 6th request upwards. so you've got at maximum 3 requests left for the achievment

The major thing about selling them versus keeping them as collectbles IMO is that it ties into the actual theming of the game. Choosing to sell a rare and fabled creature for profit goes against the general pastoralist fantasy of the game. It's choosing capitalism/profiteering over harmony with nature - a valid choice, but one that generally carries some weight in the game

It can, mystic tree mushroom log spam is actually very efficient if fully minmaxed. It's just also insanely more effort and setup time than AF/SF farming.

On one hand both basically reduce the catch time by very similar amounts it seems
The wild gives a chance for double fish while the deluxe gives a bigger fishbar making catching fish easier

I built 4 of them, it's enough

Good for crabpots too, as it makes the quality better

Greater chance of coal with the mastery statue + full quarry = 55 coals. It took 2 megabombs + 2 bombs, 1 hour in game, a few pickaxe hits. Worth it. Would do it again.

Yep, it branches about 2/3rds way in

There's a big breakable boulder on the right and you can pass through

It merges at the end near the reaper statue, so you can still easily use it to warp out

There are Dangerous Mode monsters in there even if you haven't unlocked Dangerous Mode anywhere else

(Which makes it really useful to be able to reaper-warp out, if you're there before you're ready for Dangerous monsters)
