So with that knowledge how long do you think it would take to get 999 iridium quality of each legendary fish in 1.6.

If you guessed the fastest possible ke time to be 8.325 years after the set up is complete and it requiring perfect play between four players then you are right.

I've heard of people maxing their Fishing skill within a week, but I believe that only works in solo mode

Because the most efficient way to level fishing from 0 to 10 for the legend fish requires 500 crab pots. To max it in 6 days. The max number of crab pots in the game on a standard farm is 2200 something or like that. Adding more players means each player has to collect from fewer crab pots taking long to max fishing for the legend

Even with how I did it I managed to get it below 10 years. The way you are suggesting is making it so we need 1550 crab pots for 7 players. Each catching 28 of each one every season. For 196 in a season. Which is 784 in a year. So 1.27 in game years

Add challenge bait for the seasonal fish you get 168 of the season fish per player times 7 for 1176 fish in a season. So we could theoretically get a full stack of each in less than a season only going g to level 4 fishing

What she does is heal you based on the cube root of the damage you've dealt and received since her last heal period

Cube-rooting, means it has rapidly diminishing returns

10 heal value is 1000dmg (possible with multiple targets, quickly dicing up a very durable enemy, or hammer-slamming)
20 heal value is 8000 damage (really implausible)

You want regular, not-too-intense combat, to make the most of her healing

Higher fairy box level will shorten the heal interval so she heals you more often, and apply a small multiplier to the healing

The thing is, Miner (the Lv5 skill for +1 ore) is more useful than any of the Lv10 skills in the Mining skilltree

Gems are not actually a meaningful income source, and the weekly gift limit means the extra gems from the Lv5 skill aren't meaningful that way either.

Normally, an ore node randomly gives 1-3 ore. Let's say this is an average of 2 ore per node.
The Miner skill bumps this up to an average of 3 ore per node... or looking at it another way, +50% more ore.

For some odd reason, those grey rocks that spawn on any stratum, are stone ore nodes, and Miner even makes those yield more stone. Handy if you're making a zillion preserves jars.

Plus, like. 50% more iridium ore means way fewer skull cavern trips

Hell, farming isn't even necessarily the best choice for first pick depending on your specific situation.

I will say that Foraging is easy to leave for last or near-last, because the most important part is collecting the materials for Mystic Seeds-- and you can get started on this before you select it as a Mastery

(Five oak, maple, pine, and mahogany seeds for each one mystic seed)

Grow mahoganies in advance (or with tree fertilizer), let them propagate seeds around themselves, the seeds can't sprout because it's winter, so they're easy to collect at leisure

Mystic Syrup is required for the other blueprints unlocked from Foraging Mastery, so... yeah.

Planted and watered on day 1, Rhubarb on DSG will give three harvests-- the third of which will be exactly Day 28

It's the second-strongest spring crop. Only Strawberries can beat them, but I would be a little surprised if you have a lot of Strawberry seeds left (since they're normally basically exclusive to the mid-season festivals)

Rhubarb counts as a fruit for some reason so it can be kegged into wine, or dehydrated.

(Don't forget to grow some garlic for cooking, too, now that Pierre sells Garlic seeds too)

I don't think any other crop is like that

The strongest summer crop has no such dilemma, it's Starfruit-- also from Sandy

(DSG is once again a very good choice for it, and once again gets exactly three harvests if planted and watered on day 1)

Once you've obtained all five of the rare catalogues from vanilla, you will receive a letter in the mail. Afterwards, it will be available from Robin's shop. In multiplayer, it works if the catalogues are obtained by any player, even if not the same player.

New to the channel and the 1.6 update. Does anyone know what the rare purple diamonds are in the skull mines? They appear in the upper left hand corner like the golden walnuts. I'm having a hard time looking it up as regular diamonds keeps popping up online
