I don't think it's possible for Moss to spawn that early to craft the bait with, as I believe all prespawned trees are at Growth Stage 5 but I think Moss needs 15+?
Let alone the difficulty in leveling combat when the only accessible monsters are the ones on the farm (the mine isn't open yet, Clint can't upgrade your axe soon enough to reach the Secret Woods)
Even with infinite time, there is a hard limit to the number of trees you can cut by then, there is a hard limit to the number of forage items that can spawn on each map per week, and the mine isn't open yet so you can't even spelunk for mushrooms to forage yet.
Leveling Mining that early would be even worse.

For what it's worth, 1.6.9 will be released at some point (it's been in the works for almost two months now) and it will be an update that will fix a lot of bugs, both for modding and on the player side. My guess is the reason why it's taking a long time is because that will be the last PC update before 1.6 gets ported to Switch and Mobile.

Mr Qi plays the “wise old man” archetype in Stardew Valley (along with Grandpa). While Grandpa is more of an enabler, Mr Qi wants you to prove to him that you are capable.

He’s usually the entry to post community center content and story.

To clarify, the "Mr. Qi kills you on the summit" scene is supposed to only trigger if you cheat/exploit to get there before completing the Perfection challenge

Because the path to the summit is impassable until he removes the obstruction himself, the night after you reach Perfection

If you complete Perfection and then wait until the obstruction is gone the next day, you are treated to what is effectively the game's ending.

(You can keep playing after it)

You get an achievement (and the Hat Mouse starts selling an associated hat)

If you're married, your spouse is waiting there
If you're not, Lewis (CC route) or Morris (Joja route) is waiting there

Yeah, I hyperfixate on things to distract me from, well, the horrors that surround me every day. It's why I went so far as to spreadsheet stuff back then. (And would now, if I had time and energy after my day job)
And I'm one of the "lucky" ones. No debts, a home I own (not rent), a positive monthly income balance (once again employed in that city unfortunately)

I live life with a lot of easymode advantages and it's still fucking me up. I try not to think about how poorly I'd fare without them.

I hyperfixate on purpose though; I make the decision on what to fixate on rather than being pulled along involuntarily.
Let's see, I suspect I've logged more total hours on World of Warcraft, Phantasy Star Online 2, and Final Fantasy 14. If not for the Stardew updates, I might've gone back to 100%ing Rune Factory 4 after a time spent on the SaGa Frontier remaster (has almost nothing to do with frontiers; it's a fantasy-scifi-blend JRPG).
Most recently, the Kingdom Hearts series finally released on Steam, so I've been working on that. (It's why I'm actually taking a break from Stardew now)
