Apparently in 1.6, the quarry's output increases each year for the first few years

I'm trying to see how it feels, this playthrough. One thing to realize is that in a CC run, you don't unlock the quarry until winter, at which point its Y2 upgrade is right around the corner, so you will barely see its base, worst, output tier

Lately a massive pileup of extremely urgent tasks has stopped me from going there, though

I feel like it generates stuff faster than before but I can't keep a good watch on it because of that stuff

Wonder what the limit is.

... There's an interesting thing to think about. If the maxed quarry generates a lot of stuff, we could put something else there until it gets to that point and then remove it.
One issue is that quarry resources probably don't gatekeep you by that point, unless it literally starts spawning radioactive ore
The other issue is that, well, mystic trees and shroom logs are strong af and might win even then.

In terms of added damage

For crit damage it's usually a 3x increase

So for example a weapon with a damage of 3 would increase to 9 by crit because 3 x 3

So it looks like it's critting but it's not actually doing extra damage

So for that if the weapon has a base damage of 3 and crit power of 20 then it would be calculated as:
3 × (3 + 20/50) = 10.2

Feel like what hurt me worse was that the gold and iron might have also been replaced by calico nodes. Delving outside of desert fest, had me pull in significant net gains of those to easily overtake my bomb usage. I had to waste time going out of my way to run to more iron/gold deposits mid-run during desert fest

Spring 5: Max luck day. I expend my stairs, jades, and bombs on an SC delve. Only have leftover ore remaining.
Spring 6: My Garlics on GI bloomed so I can get the last walnuts I need to open the walnut room. First two Qi Quests are Danger in the Deep and Qu's Crop. After hearing all the horror stories about Danger in the Deep not returning for months/years (and my farm being NOT ready for Qi's Crop), I picked Danger in the Deep... With only a day and a half to do it, and my supplies all depleted. Had to make several attempts on the final day, and buy two stacks of stone at Y2+ prices for stairs.
Spring week 2: Qi quest for SC Invasion. Had to catch up on farm chores and do that, and deplete my supplies again to unlock the SC danger toggle.
Spring Week 3: Desert Fest. Argh. Qi Quest was Danger in the Deep again, so I depleted my supplies again repeatedly throughout the week
Spring Week 4 (I am here): Qi quests are Danger in the Deep and SC Invasion. PLEASE CAN I STOP NOW

I think I would have to do SC Invasion because it would be over in one day and I need to collect a gazillion clay.

I'm on the beach farm. I wanted to try growing stuff on the sandy soil using Dx Retaining Soil, and cross-season plants (e.g. Fiber) to preserve it across seasons. DRS and Fiber seeds both require Clay.

But maybe if I plant Coffee Beans at the end of spring to preserve my Dx Retaining Soil instead of using more Clay, and bomb it off on Summer 1... I can redirect some of my fiber seed clay towards DRSing the next segment I planned to use.

Before we continue, can you list the order you push the buttons, in words instead of numbers (because there are two ways to interpret the numbers)

It's super intuitive to me because I'm a right-handed pianist and they make sense as right-handed fingering notation. But sometimes people read it like "the second button from the left is the 5th button to push" and... that's not it here

If you did it correctly, the buttons play out the main harmony line from the mermaid song.

so i think this is the best order for masteries:
||1- Foraging: you can start producing mystic syrup as soon as possible and also get golden boxes from any activity you do, not just foraging||
||2- Farming: scythe is very useful for harvesting crops which can save you a lot of time, and you can start getting animal crackers as soon as possible (after foraging)||
||3- Mining: better forges that save coal and can produce one extra bar, and the dwarf statue can give really good buffs||
||4- Fishing: the double tackle from the rod is very good for fishing, also possibilities golden treasures with very good loot and even though i find the challenge bait very bad it's still great for catching easy fish||
||5- Combat: the worst mastery by far, all it's feature are pretty much only usable in late-game, even the trinkets only give very niche combat only buffs||
