Scything starfruit doesn't save that much time since you can harvest and replant in the same animation

Scything ancient saves a lot of time

When you’re at the point where you have more than. 100 of them, the slight decrease in profit is COMPLETELY outweighed by the massive decrease in effort.

With the scythe, you cut down all you need to do with ancient fruit by a huge amount, but only half of what you need to do with starfruit.

If you haven't harvest-replanted before, the trick is to equip the seeds and press both mouse buttons together while harvesting

Starfruit requires: buying seeds, planting seeds each time, it takes longer to grow (unless you have agriculturalist and hyper speed gro), it forces you to replant after each harvest.
