no, as playing the "simon"-game is not needed for perfection, just getting the total amount of walnuts is what's needed. But the more you fail the game the slower it gets, so you could just fail it a bunch of times at the start to make it easier.

The logs check a 7x7 square around them, minimum 10 trees for 5 mushrooms, quality and type depend on number and variety of nearby trees
