Wanted to ask, could I get some tips on like, skill order and how to use properly?
Never upgrade s3
skill 1 first, then skill 3. spawn zarbon and buff him with skill 3 to melt supreme kai's health. then upgrade skill 1 or unlock skill 2 at your discression. focus mainly on skill 1 and skill 3 upgrades and kill bosses when they spawn using the same method as before, zarbon, then dodoria, skill 3 buff them and melt bosses. save and use farmer for bosses as much as possible. put points into ult last.
TLDR: 1 > 3> 2> ult
Why would you upgrade S3 it only gets a range upgrade
because it also makes zarbon/dodoria attack a even faster upgraded as well, plus the larger zone also means you are able to be more flexible in where you place them which can be crucial for mid boss secures.
mainly putting zarbon futher back to cover a lot of the arena since the mid bosses move around a lot
The last skill I level is 3. 1,2, and Ult are just way more important
I only need 1 level of S3 for most purposes until the game gets to the last boss or two and tower pushes
Did they change s3 or something? I would always max s3 after s1 it had insane attack and movement speed buffs
Havent played Frieza since s1 really hit is just way more fun
S1 is just his best skill. S2 is amazing for tower defense and bosses. So is Ult. There's no room for s3 in how I play
I mean isnt the whole point of frieza was killing bosses so you go s3 after s1 to melt them. I only played him a bit and got S really fast solo q in season 1
S3 enhances s2 more than upgrading s2 too

It's not even a buff, they made the hit stronger, but not as fast during Skill 3
And no HP buff for Frieza or his minions, so they still get melted end game

i just focus on stealing bosses and defending the tower with frieza
unless we get like a triple boss ko or have the potential for a team wipe im playing very defensive with him
Is there any way to actually deal with this character
breaking through on towers is basically impossible, killing him is so hard cause of how fast he is and most of the time he's able to secure boss
like genuinely haven't found any counterplay to this character\
I don't really like to blame teammates either but I've played 3 matches as hit against frieza and I havem't been able to do anything to him and its like like I have the abilities to take out the minions either

I play about everything in any role its just when i face frieza in my lane as hit it doesnât seem to go well

they dont have a lotta health
even at lvl 3
then you have like a good 18-ish seconds before he gets them back

i'm in training with frieza rn and i just realized that any cooldown decreases from blue cards are even less useful than normal
frieza's 3rd skill and his super get reduced cd, but zarbon and dodoria only get it if they die
this is probably known already but it's still stupid in my eyes lol
The big bonus for sure is recalling them manually so feel free to experiment with other card colors. Although limit breaking jump is always pretty good as a third card for the mobility when you don't have his passive or escape getting jumped
For frieza,I make an effort to run too easy,solid barrier,and LBJ
It feels the most effective at curbing frieza's weaknesses
thats what i run unless i know my team has my back, since if they do then that extra dmg to boss is exquisitely delectable

Frieza doesn't take too long to take down he's squishy
Though he's fast and might be a little difficult to catch, but like I said he's squishy he shouldn't be that hard to take down

since he usually dies quick anyway
go reds for dmg or blues for utility/easier escape
it works way better
you shouldnt be in situations where you have to sit around in range of the enemy doing rush attacks when it comes to play frieza

So I'm not sure it's a known thing, but, I did some testing on training more and Build Up actually buffs Zarbon's and probably Dodoria's defenses
Steel Skin doesn't, but the green card defenses increases at least Zarbon's defenses

It is the case, I tested it, also applies to Dodoria
with 15 stacks and full green they take like 100 less damage from a kaioshin, going from 400 to 300 or so

We Frieza mains have no limits
So I've seen talks of backstab Freeza in #đ„squadra-discussion and decided to test it out, and it can work
basically, the condition to activate Backstab is that you have to hit the opponent soon after they see you, which can work for Zarbon and Dodoria
what matters is them being hit soon after they see you, so if say, you planted Zarbon/Dodoria a minute ago, and they're hitting the opponent, but you're not on the opponent's field of view, backstab won't activate
NGL ive been needing a third card for my full offense frieza build
I run LBJ because late game I often find myself in ambushes and that helps
as soon as you do though, backstab will activate, and Zarbon's CD will be reduced to 9.6s, and Dodoria's to 8.6s
But if they are already deployed,their cooldown is paused,no?
So how does that work?
you cannot activate both at the same time, it'll be whichever hits first, but, Dodoria has that pushback, and if his level is high enough, he'll push them far back away for you to not be on view, and if he hits them again, backstab will activate
nothing stops you from just moving away from the opponents then back to activate backstab with Zarbon or Dodoria too
Now, you can't activate both twice each, once Zarbon or Dodoria get backstab it won't happen again until you unsummon them, summon them again
also, if you unsummon an almost dead Zarbon, you only have to wait 1.5s to use him again
It is, but backstab forcefully recovers CD, the same thing happened in that mode where stars that recover CD dropped from towers, Zarbon and Dodoria could be planted, but if you got those stars, they would recover CD, while still being planted

either way, this has potential, while you lose escape options, you won't be as hopeless if they get killed, and if you unsummon them on time, you can re-deploy them pretty fast
Might switch to backstab
you can just test this out on training mode too, don't even need to make the NPC move, but thanks to this, Freeza can be played more aggressively
If you wanna meme a little there's Build Up too to make them harder to kill, on top of getting less CD from backstab lol
I'm not sure Build Up is worth it, but, backstab is looking interesting
can make defending towers less of a pain in the neck, and if you're already good at unsummoning when Zarbon/Dodoria are about to die, you'll be rewarded even more since you'll wait less to use them again lol
much less, 1.5s at most with Zarbon is pretty much nothing
Lol, managed to test with Dodoria
unsummon him when he's almost dead, and it's a 0.5s CD, if you activated backstab, practically nothing
Hell thinking of it, this can even tone down the annoyance that is the likes of ultimate Gohan and Buu pushing Zamasu away, you can ust unsummon him and put him back on the field, though his aim will take a while to reach that range again
you can do something like planting Zarbon and Dodoria, using S3 to put them on crack, flying away, then flying back, to guarantee both of them get backstab, assuming they don't get killed before you get back
You don't even have to fly far, just enough that you leave your opponent's camera, although something like Shu sort of screw this up

I've seen lots of frieza's use their super start on dodoria.... I kinda thought nerfed or not, they're gonna use it on zarbon instead, but i guess not.
there's a decent argument for dodoria over zarbon, largely depends on matchup and what your priorities are
like if you're going up against kefla you're gonna want dodoria, they just do more damage to them then zarbon does from what i've seen
as a buff idea frieza rush attack now applies the effects of his summons when he max out the abilities when he doesn't have them out so zarbon follow up attacks shoots a giant beam that inflicts strike defense/movement speed down dodoria follow up pushes them away

Extra hp would be rly nice tbh especially with how kefla has so much mobility.
But gotta know his passive to ignore hits when running away and a hp buff will make him a lot harder to kill and get rid off
They are bugged where they only do a single hit of the correct DMG with the boss hunter card. But I meant green cards like solid barrier.

I think Frieza needs a buff all over save for Ult. Zarbon and Dodoria were just not created with the new chars' damage and aoe in mind. Even if you think the paper math for Zarbon and Dodoria looks good, the reality is they do not last long enough to deliver a fraction of that
As Frieza stands his last benefits are being great at both ripping and securing bosses. I'd say tower defense, but like, he's just getting blasted away. He's better on Super Starts, but that's it
tl;dr dude dies, summons die, take too long to CD, and therefore he can't leverage the things he does well.

Frieza was made for season 1 only because that's the only place he belongs they die too easily and don't have enough range for tower defending. And not only do they have HP then Frieza they get put on a 15 second cooldown where you don't exist as a character his one buff skill literally does nothing for teammates besides giving movement speed up in his range like no damage up? no fire rate up? No defense up? What game was he made for?

Zarbon should get a 10% HP Boost while Dodoria gets 15-20% HP Boost
And to top it all off when frieza uses his S3 they should get energy defense up

Hardly ever does taxi'ing feel impactful while Gohan can just delete ki damage from the game and 17 offers extra health

Rly rn Iâm running a flue blue build with strategic . Epic hunter and double dash
Rly all of that to escape god vegeta and run away as much as possible

Late game though after bosses are gone I swap epic for giantslayer for max ult damage
i run build up, barrier and defense step as frieza
the logic behind it is zarbon and dodoria get the buffs from build up and the general green card buffs, build up is better then too easy since frieza wants to be getting a LOT of farm, barrier protects from bursts and defense step is just godly
you could replace barrier with giant slayer or epic hunter if you're able to reliably secure, but build up and defense step are hard to beat imo
strategic escape epic hunter and defense step when the bosses are dead i swap epic hunter with either giant slayer or afterimage
the goal is to farm enough to reach level 11 so you have max ult and then just spam supernova and s3 on offense and s1 and 2 on defense but you can also use dodoria for cc and for distrupt or just attack in general
Switch Too Defense.
All blue: Gekishin High, Epic Hunter, and Limit Breaking Jump. Once the bosses are dealt with, I swap Epic Hunter for Art of Decoy

Freeza has easily the fastest default speed, you donât need it until late game
You can, but like, what is Frieza going to meaningfully do without damage? His ratting is hindered by S1 and 2 CD's. He has speed and if you need to flee and people are after you, while running away drop Dodorio in front of you and run, Dodorio will push them and get them off you
Frieza is weak atm, and he ain't the best rat of the Techs. So your best bet is to leverage his talents to create advantages. He's great pressure and tower defense in a team fight. And when set up he can shred bosses. Also, watching people die as their escape route is cut off by Zarbon brings me glee

I feel as though Lord Frieza should have his second form be a damage form and he can use moves like he moved used against piccolo on namek because Frieza technically has a bunch of forms so he has a bunch of options plus freezes like the gateway to all other characters across the universe so you definitely deserves more props. I like what heart said about the strategic withdrawal using the Dodoria's crush and as they try to escape having Zarbon finish them
I feel like Form 2 should be a char with 3 as a transform. Final Form with Golden as another char

So second form would be awesome because changing into the third form would allow them to counter kid Buu Super Saiyan 3 Goku Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta just mainly like big burst characters it be like he'd be like initiator counter-aggressive damage style that's what I can see because first form he was doing a lot of energy waves and a lot of Hands-On combat like when he's skewered krillin but then when you transformed into his third form he was doing a lot of rapid finger beams and fast movement so it's really evasive he was doing more trap skills more like if the Doria and tsarbon turned into one character type s*** and then you can use the second form to like be aggressive to like really get like that damage roll going and then transform and really push them back and keep them at Bay with third form and long range and such
it could be cool if we had a character that actually transformed more than once
Just for them to have it. You can split the buff over multiple forms or even have the moveset change with each form maybe to account for different phases of the game and if you fall behind in levels you can't transform to take advantage.
You can balance it by having those transforms not have invincibility like the others or something.
But a lot of epic moments in the series are how you have a villain transform multiple times over the course of the battle
You could have a little bit of that represented in a single character whose unique thing is the mechanic.
Freiza is a great candidate because he has many many forms.
Imagine starting the match as the second form and as you go on to the third, final and then golden.
The devs of games tend to skip manga stuff not in the anime yet so probably no black freiza but hopefully you see the vision here.
With the right sort of balancing and design you could allow for some interesting risk and reward on timing the transformations during battle.
Or second form, third, final and 100% max power!
