I found it pretty easy to get with todays map, the only thing i used once is the faerie lantern because i wasnt able to hide behind anything, but all cure or normal latern or heat pack should get you far enough

Luckily I got two heat packs on the approach to the mountain and I was lucky enough that I didn't have to use my cure-all, fairy lantern or normal lanterns during the ascent.
