I did some math just now since Ascent 5 is currently beating me down into the dirt;

I timed how long it took for Ascent 5 to hit me for 50% of my total stamina in Frost Damage which came back to me as 1 minute and 30 seconds. Dividing 90 seconds by 5 gave me 18; 18 ticks of elemental damage. 50 total damage divided by 18 ticks of DoT is 2.78 damage.

The interesting part is the lantern; The lantern is 5x more effective than the night is at dealing damage. this means that every 5 seconds, the lantern can heal approx. 14 points before you take 2.78 Frost damage.

The second time around later that day, I went in with my backpack with 2 balloon bunches in it - which helped eat a LOT of the weight.
