tips for gold BB and climbing the mesa on tenderfoot:

• balloon bunches (not individual balloons); imo single balloons take up way too much space for how little they lighten the load; 2 bunches reduces the load to ~%50 stam bar, 4 bunches (I had crazy good RNG) is %100 stam bar
• if you don't have balloons, rope/anti-rope; drop BB, climb up, lower your rope, go back for BB (makes an impossible climb possible)
• every time you climb up, switch to holding BB immediately b/c those annoying dynamites are everywhere (really, just hold BB whenever not climbing)
• if you're holding BB and a scorpion stings you (or any other temp damage), as soon as you put away BB you'll accrue the poison, so have a healing item on your hotbar
• it's fine if you throw in burnt BB, you still get the achievement (I accidentally burnt him crossing caldera)

Ok. The reason you are not getting the cannibalism achievement after eating the Bird is probably that you have Cannibalism enabled in settings. When disabled, I get the achievement consistently

you need to find a rock in the first mesa area that has a hole under it, the hole should look glitchy like it shows what's under it, you can shoot the chain at the tunnel part of the underground or jump and fall on the tunnel

Yeah, so the route aint to bad today in tropics. middle, over the hill, go up and right until youre behind the right tower hill, then left, climb big tree, then youre pretty much good to go up. havent fallen yet
