Not sure how helpful this description will be but I had luck starting left, taking the vine to the tall spire and then taking that to the main mountain. Climbed mostly straight up and a little to the right until I hit a beehive, then I went to the center and started moving up-right until I made it to one of the big trees. From there, I started going center left and then kept center until right below the top, and then I looped down and left to get suitcases. It was very vine heavy pathing for me until the big tree. I made it through tropics this way twice, but I haven't tried the right side so I'm not sure if that's easier.

YOU NO LONGER WIN IF YOU DIE. So, literally the code that checked if players PEAKED just checked for whether or not you were past the PEAK on the forward axis. It did not check for whether you were alive. This will now prevent players from doing the thing where, by throwing themselves off the cliff or glitching into the void, they would mysteriously win the game.

fun fact: you can set flares to go off like this automatically when downed by prelighting it and keeping the lit flare in your hotbar

when you get downed (and drop it) it will drop as a lit flare instead of an unlit flare just a neat little trick

if you climb and hotbar it, its smoking will be on pause for next time u pull it out, also i noticed i could recharge some depleted flares by doing this too

though recharging depleted flares seems to be a bit fucky, at least when ive tried it so far it sometimes happens that i dont see it while others do, and vise versa

Good day fellow scouts, I was playing around yesterday using a glitch to see the scout master at the terminal, and i explored quite a bit of the area. Beyond the scout master, I didn't see anything of note except some chairs, luggage, extra aircraft, and blue vent below the main ground. I've included my findings. Hope you guys enjoy them.

1. When scouting for a path, of course try to find one where you can use the least amount of/no tools, but what helps a lot in my runs is knowing when using an item is better long-term vs saving it. In testing it may work out without tools, but factors like hunger or potential injuries can play a role in deciding if the path is possible without a tool or not

2. ||when testing your path, if you're on Tenderfoot, keep in mind that your stamina usage won't be the same in PEAK/Ascent runs, especially on Ascent 6. Stamina usage going from pre-Ascent 6 to Ascent 6 seems to be a 20% increase in stamina usage, I don't know the exacts since I haven't tested on Tenderfoot for stamina usage, but just know that you may come across roadblocks depending on how you structure your path||

define strangest places. otherwise, just try to play carefully, dont overextend too much, hug the wall when your decending to a new biome, and try not to ride a rope/chain too fast. slamming into a wall not only hurts like ell, but counts since it was velocity damage

Its literally just different colours. brown, green, blue, silver, gold, etc

you can't change sashes either btw so if you like the sash you have then theres no real reason in it if you don't care for the difficulty
