you can jump and then shift to get like a weaker lunge but for less stamina

This was the wildest game I've had so far.
Ascent 7 with 4 players, for some reason the revive statues weren't working and I was the only one who survived up to the top of alpines.
After climbing past caldera and kiln, upon reaching the peak the crate didn't have a single flare for me to use.
So then I decided to go all the way back to try to look for flares that I may have missed or just left on the ground.
When I tried going to the alpines it was covered in fog, and at that point I decided to just jump into it to end it all.
But fog was actually an invisible sloped wall, which I began to climb.
Then it finally ended (i think somewhere around where the beginning of alpines would've been) and I fell all the way down.
BUT I LIVED because I used the med kit during the fall at a perfect time to save myself.
I decided to go back to the mountain to see what would happen, and I found a lantern (the one that the other player had when they fell in alpines)
Finally after some more walking I stepped into an invisible lava pool and died. Haven't found a single flare :(
