Yeah when I was texturing Myers I was looking at model references of him and I think it's the dirt texture scaled up? but when I first encountered him in-game I interpreted it as his skin being made rough/scaly as part of the curse. I do remember seeing your comic with him! (PEAK btw ) and I do really wish he was able to judge the motive of scouts. (The peakling in the pic is based off of one of my friends on our first run, he thought it was a good idea to split off and scout ahead for another path 😭 ) Idk, Myers is just such an interesting character to me, and while he's described as having gone mad I like to think he's not totally gone

i use Peter Morbarcher round brush for the entire piece and i simply put a watercolour paper effect on an overlay layer on top of everything as a final step!
