unfortunately it doesnt matter what the devs do here. before people were complaining about there being no kick feature because their games were being cheated, now people are complaining theyll get kicked for no reason which yea, it probably will occur. i think the best thing is still to join dm invite games, if the host unfairly kicks you, they risk getting reported so theyll be less likely to do it

I'd rather roll the chance I get in vanilla (Unmodified) lobby with a bad host that abuses moderation-based tools, over roll the chance someone with a modified client joins a vanilla lobby and having no way to deal with it, host or not.

They changed it to where if you’re kicked you can still do the mission in Helldivers 2 because it would suck to lose out on a missions reward from someone who was trolling others by kicking them, and in Peak that might hurt even more cuz of how long it takes to climb
